Lotto Max: Concept remplaçant le défunt Lotto Super 7

Je vais passer pour un maudit chiâleux (quoique c’est déjà fait depuis longtemps), mais suis-je le seul qui trouve que Lotto Québec aurait pu trouver un autre concept publicitaire télé pour leur nouvelle lotterie Lotto Max? Je parle surtout d’un point de vue musical.

Je sais pas, mais il me semble qu’utiliser Love Generation de Bob Sinclar, c’est ordinaire. Je crois qu’en fait ils sont quelques années en retard. Habituellement, on utilise un hit actuel pour une publicité comme le fait si bien Telus ou bien Apple. Pas une chanson qui commence à accumuler de la poussière et que l’on avait tous oubliée. ( Pour le meilleur ou pour le pire ? )

En plus, là je l’ai de prise dans la tête! ARGH!

He also announced his marriage with Shizuka Kudo, another idol. By the time of the announcement, Shizuka was pregnant. In 2001, Kimura starred in Hero, which set a record with its high TV ratings of about 36.8%. ^[1] He enjoyed more success in string of many hit series after Hero,

Sei que tive bem ausente esta semana, mas isso se deve a intenso trabalho que tenho realizado. De forma nenhuma me esqueci de meus leitores aqui presentes, e por este motivo, estou passando por aqui hoje para deixar um artigo sobre Administração de Tempo, e também este vídeo motivacional produzido pelo meu grupo de estudo da faculdade.

O video é referente a um trabalho de apoio pessoal ou profissional, e retrata bem a forma como o Coaching também trabalha.

Just finished watching the first episode of ‘Buzzer Beat’ and I must say that I liked it quite a bit more than I expected. I like the pairing of Kitagawa Keiko and YamaP very much and would honestly be completely ecstatic if Aibu Saki’s character got dumped, though the prospect of a hunk like Ito Hideaki biting P-dust is a little saddening. But oh well. All is fair in love, life, war and Japanese dramas.

Anyway, some quick notes which I just had to write down in relation to some old classics which came into mind whilst viewing:

1. ‘Love Makes Me Strong’
One would have to be quite blind to not notice that signboard but yes, that extremely obvious piece of signage is very much in the style of the ‘True Love Never Runs Smooth’ one that appeared in the old-school classic ‘Love Generation’. Even the two lead female characters are named Riko but that is just a coincidence and of no significant importance. What is important is that I won’t be the least bit surprised if ‘Love Makes Me Strong’ ends up being one of the main themes to the entire dorama just like how ‘True Love Never Runs Smooth’  was of such great significance in ‘Love Generation’. Naoki is emotionally weak whilst Riko lacks confidence and they each fill what the other lacks. One just hopes that this Riko character will not end up as annoying as the Riko character in ‘Love Generation’ who, by the time episode 10 came around, was in serious need of some good, well-timed bitch-slapping.

2.“ちゃんとやりなさいよ！ばか！“
This comes in episode 2, but that small bit right at the end of the entire episode 2 preview was enough to remind me of Fukada Kyoko yelling out to Domoto Tsuyoshi whilst he was in the boxing ring all those years ago in ‘To Heart’, spurring him on to give it his literal best shot. If this is not indication that the relationship between Naoki and Riko are going to go the same way as Yuji and Toko in ‘To Heart’, albeit sans the somewhat disturbing Toko-style stalking, I don’t know what is. In any case, it is a given that henceforth, Naoki’s going to pull up his socks not because of his great pretender of a girlfriend but because of the open-faced Riko.

Here’s to hoping that they don’t wait till the very last episode before letting Naoki whip greasy-headed Yoyogi Ren’s skinny arse. Cheers!

Una genial cancion¡¡

Singer Lee Minwoo shared his views on “women with a past” for the 19th Feb episode of SBS Love Generation.

The discussion topic was, “If my partner tells me that ‘I was married before and I have a child’, can I accept her?” Lee Minwoo replied matter-of-factly, “I won’t be able to accept her. I can’t raise a child who’s not mine.” Although the other guests felt that it was a little too heartless, but Lee Minwoo stuck to his stand.

Baek Ji Young however had a different opinion. “If I can accept his past marriage, I’ll be able to accept his child. It’s history, so I won’t really mind too much. But of course it still takes time to come to terms with it.”

Female guests mostly agreed with Baek Ji Young, while male guests mostly took Lee Minwoo’s stand.

Well put essay on the  atrocious act of abortion by actor Gary Graham….read the whole thing….Excerpts below:

…..I have been on all sides of this issue for most of my life, and I can simply not escape the logic. That fetus a pregnant woman is carrying inside of her, regardless of the gestation stage, is a living, breathing human being. Yes, breathing – the amniotic sac forms 12 days after conception, and in the second trimester the baby is actually breathing the amniotic fluid. It’s not an ‘unviable tissue mass.’ Not a wart, a mole, a skin outcropping, a boil, or a bundle of uncoordinated cells. It’s not just a ‘fetus’.

It’s a baby. Not fully developed, true. Like an infant is not a fully developed and mature adult. But it’s a baby.

And the first time I got a girl pregnant, I would have wrestled you to the ground for saying that. How f*cking dare you? You don’t know what you’re talking about! You piece of crap, you don’t know!

Well I do know. And I stand condemned. I’ve paid for three of them and was responsible for probably several more, I’m not really sure. But it breaks my heart. Because I’ve been convicted in my soul. It took years after the fact, but I was shown the Truth. And not to get mumbo-jumbo, oogly-boogly on you, but it was a spiritual awakening that did it. It happened unexpectedly, and it threw me to my knees in sudden tearful epiphany of what it meant for a man to be with a woman, what sex was really designed for by our Creator and… what abortion is.

….Abortion as a method of birth control became the norm. I knew a few girls who had had as many as five of them by the time they were twenty-five. And they seemed fine on it…mostly because everyone around them was telling them that they should feel fine about it.

So this abortion thing was pretty damn convenient for a guy. And for a time, I was quite the Lothario. I kept a roster of seven girlfriends. Why seven? I don’t know…maybe Lucky Number 7 (yeah maybe)…or seven days in a week (more likely). But I would meet someone new, and I would simply go through my list…and kick one girl off. I would simply stop calling her. And to my great shame…this was my chosen method to ‘decathect.’ In retrospect, I wish I’d had the balls of utter honesty in my early relationships; but I was a drug-addled, post college idiot and that was the best I could muster. This was my m.o. and I knew I wasn’t alone…not by a long shot. We were proud products of the Love Generation.

…..I’m telling you, once you draw that line and say this is the moment it’s a human being…you’ve lost the argument. Because it’s arbitrary. On this date it’s a baby, but yesterday it was just a bunch of cells…this blob of a nothing and you can do anything you want with it, it’s okay. Babies have been born premature in the second trimester and lived. Happens all the time. So please, somebody tell me how is taking a baby and delivering all but the head, then plunging a tube into its skull and sucking the brains out…how is that not murder? This is what happens in partial-birth abortions, and unfortunately, this happens all the time, too.

And we as a nation…as a people…are all right with this?

……..Our willingness to tolerate such a holocaust says volumes of how our entire culture has been coarsened. How life itself has been cheapened. We are told to have sex any time we feel the urge. Condoms are handed out in grade schools. Promiscuity is not only condoned, it’s tacitly encouraged. Illegitimacy has enslaved an entire underclass of our citizens, relegating them to government assistance for a lifetime, bankrupting cities, and holding an entire subculture down in dependent despair. But if you should get pregnant and it’s just not a ‘convenient’ time for you, don’t worry, there are Family Planning Services, funded, thanks to the likes of Nancy Pelosi, by your tax dollars. That inconvenient fetus can be surgically ripped from its uterine moorings, ground up and tossed into the trash like so much garbage. Problem solved, and the mother can resume her egocentric lifestyle. But the scars on that woman’s soul will never quite heal. I’m a man, but I’ve got them on mine.

Vei fi considerat o stanca a dragostei. Merita sa dai dragoste pentru aceasta comunitate in care te invarti acuma. E atata de greu sa dai dragoste si crede-ma ca te inteleg dar ce poate fi mai frumos decat sa iubesti si sa fii iubit/a. Dar si pana la urma care e problema daca nu esti iubit/a? Iubeste si zambeste!

Vei fi considerat nebun ca ii iubesti pe toti, dar nu trebuie sa iti pese de ei.

Esti cea mai frumoasa fiinta de pe pamant cand radiezi de fericire, cand iubesti si ochii tai saluta strainii pe strada cu dragoste. Esti o fiinta nascuta din dragoste…prin dragoste….pentru dragoste.

Esti copilul Tatalui care te-a iubit asa de mult incat si-a dat Fiul sa moara pentru tine ca tu sa crezi in El si sa traiesti vesnic.

A visit to one of the north’s biggest multicultural festivals

Yesterday we paid a visit to Music in the sun for music, food and drinks as the sun set over Don Valley.

Who did we see there? I’d heard Steve Lamacq mention Hiem a few times before but never watched them live. They appeared in the main arena and were good, quite electronic but more melodic and poppy than I was expecting. This is Electricity from 2004:

And following them was Steve Edwards, who I didn’t realise wrote and provided vocals for Bob Sinclar’s 2006 hit World, hold on (children of the sky):

Bob Sinclar also released Love generation, which Steve Edwards also performed live on Saturday.

There were several other arenas with other performers and DJs playing, as well as graffiti artists, food, drink, retail stalls and fairground rides.

The festival continues today from 1pm. If you do go down, also don’t miss the tasty African/Caribbean food from Broomhill’s UK Mama.

Idag tar Sofia studenten och såklart är det mulet och kallt -_- Men det ska nog bli roligt ändå. Bara jag hittar visselpipan och den uppblåsbara hammaren jag köpte till henne. Köpte gosedjur också, men den är inte lika irriterande för andra som en visselpipa och en uppblåsbar hammare aja, här kommer nostalgiminne till er tjejer: vår student! =D
