Love Psychedelico has launched a new youtube channel to promote songs off their new album Abbot Kinney due out January 13th 2010.

You can hear samples of the song “Here I am” currently, and they mention the date of 12/8/2009 as when more songs will be added to the new youtube channel. I’ll keep you updated as more videos hit.

In the meantime, check out their official website. Also check out their U.S. website that promotes their US album that was released last year on Hacktone records.

So check out this line up: Akino Arai, Yuuko Ando, Cocco, BONNIE PINK, Chara, LOVE PSYCHEDELICO, Keiko Hiraoka . What do they have in common? Well they will all be appearing at Curly Giraffe’s live on 10/21 at SHIBUYA-AX.

The show entitled, “Curly Giraffe presents “Super Session vol.3/Thank You For Being A Friend”, is a release event for his new album, “Thank You For Being A Friend”.

Ticket sales start 9/12, but if you cant’ make it you can order it on Space Shower TV on 9/4 starting at 19:00 (7PM JST) and will end on 9/8 at 01:00 (1PM JST).

Also, this will be the first time in 8 years that singer, Keiko Hiraoka will be releasing an album called, “25″ through Tower Records. It will go on sale on 11/25 and can only be obtained through Tower Records.

I wish I could go, that is an awesome line up. Curly Giraffe definitely got some of J-Pop’s best singers in the industry.

We went to the show Thursday night at the Troubadour.  Here’s a little clip of one of Camille’s favorites, “These Days”.

We went to Tune in Tokyo last Thursday and had a grand ol time. We met several interesting characters with similar interests and gabbed the night away. The organizers are holding another event under International Pop Conspiracy tomorrow which is in our opinion going to be even better since we are huge fans of french pop. Check it out!

Just wrapped up my second week of the new semester.  Not bad so far, even though I’m taking 18 credit hours.  I also just turned in my graduation dues, $125 down the drain!  Sigh…I’ve been forced to take 2 night classes this semester which means 2 nights off work a week.  My wallet’s just about empty.  It doesn’t help that the Christian bookstore by my house is going out of business and that they have such great deals on my Tooth and Nail bands!  I bought 8 CDs today alone, for about $20.  Might take me a while to get to the new Japanese music now…

-parms (ex-DRUMKAN) will be recording their debut album in Louisville, KY with Kevin Ratterman this month.

-Sawao Yamanaka from the pillows is in a new band named The Predators with members from GLAY and straightener.

-MUCC will be headlining 2 shows in LA and New York.

-girugamesh’s self-titled album will be availabe at Hot Topic by the end of the month.  Their discography is also on JapanFiles.

-TsuShiMaMiRe have a new song up on myspace named “Hyper Sweet Power” that has some connection with the Powerpuff Girls.  They are currently on a US tour.
