Hi Everyone,

How are you all doing? Have you finished watching “You’re Beautiful?” For the past few weeks, I was so addicted to the drama that I can’t wait for every Wednesday and Thursday. I am so sad now that it’s all over and I can’t see AN Jell anymore. I was also busy planning my trip to Taiwan to see FT Island concert. It’s crazy that the tickets are all sold out in an hour. I didn’t even get a chance to buy it since I don’t live in Taiwan and can’t get a hold of my friends there soon enough. But luckily, another friend helped me and I finally got a ticket to go. So I am sure I will post everything on this blog about the concert. I am also hoping that they will go to Hong Kong in February and I definitely want to be there as well. \(^.^)/

Anyway, that just explains why I haven’t had lesson 9 up till now. I had it translated but just didn’t have time to put all components of the lesson together. But here you go, I hope all love the song like I do.

Grammar Point #1:
verb stem + 아/어/해 놓다 – meaning finished the action and leave it at that state.

Example from the lyrics:
숨결 하나조차 널 닮게 해놓고 이렇게 도망가니까
(You make)even a breath is filled with you but you run away like this

More examples:
1. 문을 열어놓으세요.
Please open the door (and leave it).

2. 텔레비전를 켜놓고 숙제를 했어요.
I turned on the television and did my homework.

Grammar Point #2:
action verb +ㄹ 걸 그랬어 or
action verb stem + 을 걸(요)

This is used to express as a regret to things haven’t done. This is used a lot in the lyrics.

Examples from the lyrics:
하지말걸 그랬어 모른척 해버릴걸
I shouldn’t have done it. I should have pretended to not know.

도망칠걸 그랬어 못들은척 그럴걸
I should have run away. I should have pretend that I could not hear

More examples:
한국어능력시험을 통과하지 못해요. 공부를 더 열심히 할 걸.
I couldn’t pass my Test of Proficiency in Korean. I should have studied harder.

일찍 병원에 갈 걸 그랬어요.
I should have gone to the hospital earlier.

Sambata am plecat frumusel catre Hyde Park Corner, imbracata nu foarte wintery ci mai degraba summery, fara umbrela (proasta idee). Jeff avea planuri de poker night asa ca nu l-am intrerupt din activitati. Am pornit frumusel catre oraselul lui Santa, m-am imbarcat in trenul subteran si ghici ce?? cand sa ies de la metrou…. ce sa fie, ce sa fie??? Ploaie fff stresanta cu picuri mici si desi. Ei asta nu m-a dat inapoi. Am ajuns in orasel si am zis ca cel mai bine incep cu o ciocolata calda sa ma mai imbujorez. Zis si facut. Apoi mi-am dat seama ca toate standurile cu zorzoane si delicateste nu accepta carduri….Wrooonggg!! Am rasuflat usurata cand am vazut un semn mare pe care scria ,,cash point”. Dupa ce am cheltuit niste bani, o suma frumusica pot sa zic, pe lenjerie de matase, ciocolata fina si cosmetice MAC am zis ca e mai bine sa plec pana nu imi inchid astia cardul ))))). Odata ajunsa acasa, mai plouata ca niciodata am constatat ca imi lipsteste cardul. Sa vezi nervi pe mine atunci!!!!Am zis ca mai bine imi iau un film bun si ma relaxez.

A doua zi parca toata revolutia asta de intamplari neplacute s-a preschimbat in Zana cea Buna. Soarele zambea la fereastra. Jeff si cu mine am decis sa mergem impreuna de aceasta data sa vedem Winter Wonderland. Am sunat la HN sa rezolv problema cu cardul. Am avut noroc, cardul meu nu era pe sina de metrou asa cum credeam initial, ci in magazinul Harvey Nichols, unde uituca de mine il lasase. Dupa ce mi-am recuperat cardul (chiar am incredere in oamenii locului..legea chiar functioneaza in tara asta) am pornit cu baby al meu catre winterland. De data asta ploaia, mai subtire ca niciodata, ne-a imbiat la drum. Umbrela din dotare ne-a salvat dupa amiaza. Odata ajunsi acolo parca era altceva. Nu tu femeie impiedicata care nu spune pardon, nu tu probleme cu cardul, cash aveam de data asta. Totul la fix. Dupa 2 vinuri fierte si carnati nemtesti, ne-am dat in Roata Excelentei (jur ca asa se numeste…astia se tot cred regi si excelente pe aici) si am vazut Londra noaptea de sus. Bestial. Cateva poze de asera la mine pe Facebook.

Regnet smattrade på rätt ordentligt mot mitt fönster i morse och väckte mig en timma innan min mobil skulle ge mig ett skönt uppvaknande med IAMX underbara låt This will make you love again. Men det gjorde inte så mycket. När jag skulle fixa frukost kom jag på att jag hade glömt att köpa mjölk och kilade snabbt in till servicebutiken där jag bor och fixade 2 liter. Efter detta blev det frukost och nyhetstittande på tv:n.

När det gäller regnet så har det typ regnat hela dagen, så jag var tvungen att ta bussen in till city när jag skulle på möta med min kontaktperson på AF. Jag hade ett önskemål till honom och det var att få börja praktisera på samma reklambyrå som jag gjorde i somras. Detta gick bra, så jag börjar där på måndag och kör året ut. Ska bli så jävla skoj. Jag har även skickat in mitt CV och personliga brev till ett jobb som min coach hade mailat till mig.

Igår när jag satt och letade musik på Spotify hittade jag en grupp som jag inte lyssnat på på evigheter och satte då igång och letade fram några låtar med dem på youtube. Front 242 heter gruppen och är hur grymma som helst. Gammal skön EBM från Belgien. För ett par veckor sedan laddade jag över en hel del EBM till min mobil och nu när jag tänker på det har jag inte någon låt med Front 242 på telefonen, så detta måste fixas illa kvickt. Nåväl! Just had dinner with some good ol friends at Lovely Day. So good! I had the pleasure of meeting and greeting Mr. Fitz the lead and manager for Fitz and the Tantrums before he is off on the road again, touring. Good conversations on the power of tweeting, magical moments on stage, and taking your life’s passions and making them a reality. My favorite  part about living in New York is that you never know who you will meet at dinner. I’m off to check out the rest of  Songs For a Breakup, Vol. 1. The band is currently opening for Maroon 5 with their soulful selves.

this morning i woke up with a sore throat. it’s not a nice feeling  ㅠㅠ and it’s been three days i’ve gargled the Oral B to ease the discomfort in my throat but it didnt quite work. i accidentally swallowed some of those this morning lol.  today at work,  been feeling a little groggy whole day with the stuffy nose and the constant sneeze. i should have taken the mc to rest at home @_@ urgh, i just hope that i wont get sick again…

i just visit soompi forum just now but i noticed that recently the server have gotten really sloooow. why is this happening??  it takes around 1 minute or so to load a single topic page! urgh.. with all the money from (perhaps) thousands of users contribute to maintain the place.. -,.- phail! keke

i’m on my way to work this morning. The rain poured in abundance last night, i loved that. The earth smells fresh this morning as a result. Can’t tell if there’s a good chance it’ll rain later today, but the sun is out. And the day looks promising. Thats awesome.

We went for my 30th birthday, had 17 people come along and spent a great time on the island

I found such a great bed for Poppy! It’s a lovely, old brass and porcelain bed with decorative flowers painted on it. Very pretty. Now just looking for another, similar one for Daisy.

The beautiful linen is from a company called ‘whimsy‘ and is called ‘lovely day’.
