“The Sarame dress is 100% rigged mesh. It features India’s National Bird the Peacock (hand painted), along with traditional images. The aim of the design was to bring traditional Indian imagery to western fashion. In India the Peacock is a symbol of beauty, joy, grace and love. It is this that inspired me to create the Sarame dress after all every man, woman and child is beautiful and deserving of joy and love, therefor I wanted the dress to be graceful in its design, just like the peacock. [AD] Creations & Urban Lutz for The Ashraya Project

I am very happy that I can show you 2 more designs that will be part of the Ashraya Project. Aliza Karu, owner and designer of [AD] Creations, created a wonderful black and white dress with some cute glasses. The “Andrew female” outfit really is something special. The skirt is made with the new mesh technique, the rest of the prims, like the belt, the glasses, the lace and the jacket collar, you can edit like usual prims or sculpties. The ribbons and the lace part beneath the skirt, give the whole outfit a playful dolly touch. The cool unsymmetrical gloves again show the genius ideas of Aliza Karu, who always for me was one of the designers that created outfits and items out of the box and beside the usual mainstream

The hair as well is a contribution to the Ashraya Project. It comes off the house of Urban Lutz. Tayler Wassep made this amazing “India” hair as her part for the great charity event of Anna Sapphire. The hair has some wonderful decorations with the little golden and red golden parts on the forehead and the whole style looks like a ponytail in the back.

The LM for the Ashraya Project will be posted as soon as I can get a hand on it But I really like it to show you some of the great items before hand so you can maybe make your own personal shopping list already

Wicca's Wardrobe: YAY! I made it :) - Finale Outfit for H.O.R. Casting

House of Rage was holding a casting for new models for their staff. As I adore House of Rage for a while, I dared to enter the challenge For the first round we got an outfit we had to style and do a picture from. That style I already posted a few ago (http://wiccamerlin.wordpress.com/2012/02/13/wiccas-wardrobe-my-look-for-the-house-of-rage-casting/). We got the outfit at the House of Rage Mainstore and had to put our own touch to it with accessories. I really liked that idea as all have the same basics to begin with. As I was told that I made it with a few others to the next round I was happy like a child on christmas . For the finale round of the casting we were told to develop our own look with the wonderful creations of House of Rage. I went to the H.O.R. Mainstore and looked around a while, not really able to decide only one outfit. With my addiction to mix and match I came on the idea just to combine a few different outfits and make my own look out of it. As I arrived at the casting I really became nervous. I did not know if it was right to mix and match different H.O.R. outfits or if they wanted to see a full outfit only. I saw all the other contestants and they looked fabulous, that made me even more nervous :p

With my name for sure I again was last to walk out . We first had to walk our styling of the first round and then in another walk the new one. At the end of the runway, Topaz and Lovely waited on us and we had a short interview at the end of our second walk. Both were very nice and kind and made it easier for us and as well they took some of my nervousness .

A few days later we got the result on a wonderful picture (the one I started the post with), a really nice idea to show results of a casting

The FASHION TELLER is looking for one extraordinary model for our upcoming High Fashion Story Book called MURDER, MY SWEET. It is a detective crime story set in the cool 1930s with a futuristic fashion edge. The book is in film noir style; black and white with only red showing as a color. We promise Murder, Mystery, Suspense…all in high style. Think SIN CITY but with high fashion in mind. We have amazing designers joining us in this project such as Bliss Couture, Lovely Mi, REDGRAVE, SoliDea FoliEs, and Vero Modero.

INTERESTED?

Present a FANTASTIC styling using at least one of our participating designer’s outfits and accesories (Bliss Couture, Lovely Mi, REDGRAVE, SoliDea FoliEs, Vero Modero) and create a dramatic photo depicting a black and white film noir style murder mystery theme. The winning picture will be featured in our next book and the model given a spot in the book. The winner will be invited to the FASHION TELLER Elite group as a model for future projects. Both Male and Female Models May Apply…

***CONTEST RULES***

The FASHION Teller:
Murder, My Sweet Contest
RULES:

1. Present a black and white style picture (film noir) using at least one item from our participating designers. (Bliss Couture, Lovely Mi, REDGRAVE, SoliDea FoliEs, Vero Modero). Snapshots are okay but the clothing needs to be black and white and it has to fit the murder mystery theme. Please credit the photographer and mention the name of the participating designer’s outfit you are wearing in the picture description or your accompanying notecard.

2. The Picture must be 1024×1024 in size and be of high quality and high fashion. May use Photoshop or GIMP but Morphed pictures are not accepted.

3. All contestants are encouraged to join THE FASHION TELLER Flickr group and post their picture entry in the group.

The Fashion Teller CASTING

The FASHION TELLER is looking for one extraordinary model for our upcoming High Fashion Story Book called MURDER, MY SWEET. It is a detective crime story set in the cool 1930s with a futuristic fashion edge. The book is in film noir style; black and white with only red showing as a color. We promise Murder, Mystery, Suspense…all in high style. Think SIN CITY but with high fashion in mind. We have amazing designers joining us in this project such as Bliss Couture, Lovely Mi, Mannerism, REDGRAVE, SoliDea FoliEs, Vaya Con Dios and Vero Modero.

INTERESTED?

Present a FANTASTIC styling using at least one of our participating designer’s outfits and accessories (Bliss Couture, Lovely Mi, Mannerism, REDGRAVE, SoliDea FoliEs, Vaya Con Dios, Vero Modero) and create a dramatic photo depicting a black and white film noir style murder mystery theme. The winning picture will be featured in our next book and the model given a spot in the book. The winner will be invited to the FASHION TELLER Elite group as a model for future projects. Both Male and Female Models May Apply…

The FASHION Teller:
Murder, My Sweet Contest
RULES:

1. Present a black and white style picture (film noir) using at least one item from our participating designers. (Bliss Couture, Lovely Mi, Mannerism, REDGRAVE, SoliDea FoliEs, Vaya Con Dios, Vero Modero). Snapshots are okay but the clothing needs to be black and white and it has to fit the murder mystery theme. Please credit the photographer and mention the name of the participating designer’s outfit you are wearing in the picture description or your accompanying notecard.

2. The Picture must be 1024×1024 in size and be of high quality and high fashion. May use Photoshop or GIMP but Morphed pictures are not accepted.

3. All contestants are encouraged to join THE FASHION TELLER Flickr group and post their picture entry in the group.

The picture must be titled FASHION TELLER CONTEST: (Name of Contestant).

For example: Fashion Teller Contest: Editorial Clarity.

5. The Winner must be available for the photo shoots and is willing to follow the photographer/designer’s requests.
