I really wish I had a punching bag! I really do! Have you heard/seen the newest announcement tvi made last night after 9:30pm ET? I am sitting here FUMING! I put that this is Pt. 1, because I just sent two seperate emails to tvi support and the financial team, copying both on each email. Can’t wait to see if they respond at all, for one. And secondly, if they DO respond, I can’t wait to read what they have to say.

Those of you that have been reading my blog all the way through, know that I no longer participate in tvi as a member. I have indeed been scammed and with this latest announcement, it appears ALOT of people are going to be just as ticked off as I am. Please enlighten yourselves and see what I am referring to:

Dear Members,

This announcement is to make you aware of a few changes in the payment and fund transfer sections which will be brought into effect as of 22/12/2009, 2 PM GMT.

According to the new system, new accounts can be paid for using evoucher or wallet of only those accounts which are in the senior line of sponsorship. For example. username XYZ can be paid for using an evoucher or wallet if the voucher owner or wallet ID paying the amount is in the upline of XYZ.

Inter-wallet fund transfers have also been limited and the funds can be transferred from uplines to downlines only. Fund transfers to uplines and cross-line members will be disabled from the date and time as specified above.

This has been done to ensure security of your accounts and to prevent increasing number of voucher and fund thefts.

P.S.: Payments done by Solid Trust Pay and Liberty Reserve will remain unaffected by these changes.

Naturally, I am immediately thinking of all the people that have “funds” and vouchers left in their back offices who are going to be left holding the bag. I being one of them, as I have vouchers that I clearly will never use. Tvi won’t give me funds directly and I refuse to sell vouchers and bring anyone into this. So, I am stuck. My upline offered to buy them from me, but I haven’t responded.

I don’t know about everyone else, but this announcement doesn’t seem very clear. So, I emailed asking some questions. Here is the first email I sent:

“Subject: Urgent questions regarding Important Amendments

Hello,

Can you please answer some questions about this new announcement? Surely you realize that giving such short notice (basically 24 hours since it was sent out after 9:30pm ET) is quite disturbing to alot of members. The announcement isn’t very clear about some things.

Are you saying that if someone has vouchers in their back office that they can’t sell them to anyone they want? Many have vouchers on hand for anyone on their team that might need one at any time. They were so sparce at one time, that people have been holding on to them.

The way it reads it appears that after the 22nd, if we have vouchers still in our account no one else can purchase them if they are in our downline. Seems members should be able to sell vouchers to anyone on their team regardless of status.

Is it a cross-recruiting issue? Trying to put a stop to the tvivoucherforum.com? The truth would be the way to go on this!

Also, regarding the “increasing number of voucher and fund thefts” statement, I have not heard of ANY thefts or hacking regarding this. I don’t believe this is why tvi is making the changes at all. If this was an issue, it should’ve been announced long ago! This new policy in no way protects us any differently. Vouchers and funds will still be in our back office. So, if this is a hacking issue, this won’t help!

Lastly, I still after many contacts have yet to find out why I was told on December 5th by the Financial team, that wire transfers are on hold. The Financial team cancelled the wire transfer to my bank on their own (after 24 days of me waiting for my transfer)and the “funds” were put back into my ewallet yet there has still not been a PUBLIC Announcement made regarding this! If it were true, why no announcement?

Why hasn’t the option to do a wire transfer been disabled? Why mislead members into thinking they can have the funds transferred to their bank account only to find out weeks later that tvi is no longer paying members directly?

Now we get this Announcement at the LAST MINUTE making it near impossible for members to do what they need to do so they don’t get completely shafted. Very shady business practices tvi!

I really hope someone responds to my questions because they need to be answered expediently since your time frame you have given is irresponsibly short!

Last 2 responses to questions from the back office to support were responded to, but NOT regarding the questions I asked. I ask about fees and I get a response about a user id. I ask about why no announcement regarding bank transfers being on hold and I get response to contact support to cancel my transfer. The responders obviously did NOT read my questions!

And can you please expand on what you mean by “senior line of sponsorship”? Are you referring to Diamond members? Gold Members? Who? We do not know who is “senior line of sponsorship”. Please explain.

Curious if I will get a response and IF I do, will they actually respond to what I have asked. I figured by emailing support AND Financial teams, maybe I have a better shot of being responded to.
I had to send the second email because I went to the site and saw a second announcement there that was NOT mailed out. This announcement was regarding STP and that you can use it for all facets of banking and purchasing vouchers.

So, I went to the “Financial Manager” section of my back office to see if they added the STP tab option to the Virtual Bank portion of the site. Well, they sure did AND they did take away the wire transfer tab as an option for direct bank transfers! So, when they told me direct bank transfers were temporarily on hold, they really meant PERMANENTLY!!! Now, the ONLY way for people to get funds is through LR/STP or turning funds into vouchers! Which is what I’ve been saying all along and it turns out I WAS RIGHT! Only, there are still people saying they haven’t gotten their transfers by using LR/STP.  I can’t personally verify that as I refuse to use either 3rd party service.

So, this is my second email to them:

I just sent an email regarding why the wire transfer function in the back office hasn’t been disabled. I just went there and see that there is another announcement that hasn’t been sent out yet. So, I went to the financial manager and see that you did indeed take away the ability to do a direct wire transfer.

May I suggest that tvi actually come forth and make the announcement that NO DIRECT WIRE TRANSFERS are being done anymore?

In order for members to get funds out of their back office, they have to join a 3rd party service. They can’t get it directly from tvi. THIS IS VERY BAD!

Members should NOT have to use one of these services to get their funds that tvi is supposed to be paying them directly with.

Many have done their research on LR and STP and there are ALOT of complaints. Especially with STP freezing funds for no reason. It’s ok when funds are being sent and received, but when people have tried to actually request the funds transferred to their banks STP puts a freeze on their account!

Who would trust a company like this with their funds? I think tvi only chose STP because they don’t allow chargebacks or refunds and that is also shady business practices. TVI doesn’t realize how bad this looks, but it looks VERY VERY bad!

So, the only way for members to really get their funds is to turn them into vouchers and sell them and now, tvi has put restrictions on even that!

Things keep going from bad to worse! What a way to treat your members!

I started out trying to ask things nicely, but I am too frustrated! It’s very upsetting that so many people are losing money with this company and they just keep making things worse. What’s next?

I really hope they get shut down and SOON!

Da die erste Zeitreise so gut bei euch angekommen ist und TM-Tube zur Zeit nichts Interessantes bietet, geht es heute wieder zurück in die Urzeit der TM-Videos. Als eines der ersten und bis heute wichtigsten Genres bildete sich das Stuntvideo heraus. Die “Street Style”-Videos waren damals und sind heute natürlich jedem ein Begriff. Lange Zeit war “TM-Video” sogar fast ein Synonym für Stuntvideos: Fast jeder Videomacher machte eines, viele kamen überhaupt erst über die “Street Style”-Videos zu Trackmania und zum Videomachen in TM.

Folgt mir also zurück in die wilden, ursprünglichen Zeiten, als Fahren, Stunten und Videomachen in TM ein echtes Abenteuer für wahre Aficionados war …

Trackmania erschien 2004 und schon in diesem Jahr gab es die ersten Stunt- und Freestylevideos – wobei es diese Unterscheidung damals noch gar nicht gab. Die Spieler entdeckten schnell die Möglichkeiten, die TM bot und nutzten sie. Beliebteste Umgebung zum Stunten war damals Desert – oder vielmehr Speed (wie die Umgebung in TM noch hiess). Noch heute haben diese Videos etwas Rohes, Wildes, Ungezähmtes und vermitteln den Spass, den die Macher trotz aller technischen Hindernisse hatten (Siehe mein Artikel zu “Honour Drive”). Aber seht einfach selbst:

Natürlich sind sie weit von der Qualität und dem Stil heutiger Videos entfernt, aber für mich ist es mehr als Nostalgie, das sie auch heute noch “ansehbar” macht (auch wenn einem das nächste Video eher wegen der Farbwahl bei Vor- und Abspann die Tränen in die Augen treibt) :

Beim ursprünglichen Trackmania stand der Spass im Vordergrund, nicht nur im Charakter des Spiels, sondern auch in der Community. Mit Sunrise gewann das Element Geschwindigkeit und Qualität mehr Gewicht, mit Nations schliesslich der Wettbewerb der Fahrer. Insofern vermitteln also diese alten Videos ein Gefühl für die Ursprünge von Trackmania und seiner Community, die junge Spieler (die erst mit Nations oder United hinzukamen) nie erfahren oder erlebt haben.

Schon bald nach Veröffentlichung von Trackmania starteten die ersten Fahrer-/Teamligen und Wettbewerbe (z.B. der Overdose-Cup). Aber die Möglichkeiten, die das gerade veröffentlichte Trackmania für Stunt/Freestyle bot und die Begeisterung der Community riefen auch etwas ins Leben, das noch heute fester Bestandteil von Trackmania ist: Der Freestylecup!

Den Jungs von LR (Lanterne Rouge, zu deutsch “Rote Laterne”, also “Schlusslicht”) werden wir bei unseren Ausflügen in die TM-Historie noch öfter begegnen, besonders LR Evets, der ja noch heute als Videomacher aktiv ist. Nachdem ihr jetzt einen Blick auf die Ursprünge der Stuntvideos geworfen habt, wird auch der durchschlagende Erfolg des ersten “Street Style” verständlich. Erst im Vergleich mit anderen Videos aus dieser Zeit sieht man, wie weit es damals dem Standard voraus war. Nach dem Erscheinen des ersten Teils im September 2004 (und besonders des zweiten Teils ein Jahr später) sollte nichts mehr so sein wie vorher – aber das ist eine andere Geschichte.

Das Blog stürzt sich nun in den Adventskalender (und ihr seid hoffentlich alle dabei!), daher werdet ihr in den nächsten Wochen nichts von mir hören.  Nach Weihnachten geht es aber mit Hochdruck weiter, um das Versäumte aufzuholen: In der Woche bis Neujahr wird eine dreiteilige Artikelserie veröffentlicht.

Vad är det folk är  så rädda för när det kommer till direktförsäljning?

Jag är konsulent för LR Health & Beauty Systems som är ett direktförsäljningsföretag som funnits på marknaden i 25 år nästa år. Produkterna håller väldigt hög kvalitet till väldigt bra priser. Hittills har reaktionerna varit “Men det är ju billigare att köpa parfym av dig!” “Den här krämen funkar ju faktiskt!”. Folk är skeptiska men jag har ringt runt till 20 personer som handlat produkter av mig och alla är nöjda. Det känns ju jättekul då jag bara hållt på i en månad lite drygt och inte har hunnit prova alla produkter själv.

LRs kundservice är outstanding. Jag får snabba svar om jag mailar och telefonsupporten är kanon. Leveranserna kommer inom en vecka från det att jag beställt och jag har 10 dagars kredit från beställningsdatum. LR är enligt mig dom bästa på det dom gör. Jag har tidigare erfarenhet från Herbalife och Amway men inget utav dom kommer ens i närheten!
LR har superstjärnor som Leona Lewis, Marcus Schenkenberg, Michael Schumacher, Boris Becker och inte minst Heidi Klum som ger ut sina parfymer enbart via LR! Om inte det ger förtroende för LR och produkterna då vette tusan om något skulle göra det.

Jag håller homepartyn som vi kallar Happy Hour och tanken är verkligen att det ska vara en kul grej. Man får möjligheten att prova, lukta och smaka (finns även kosttillskott, måltidsersättningar mm). Men när jag nämner det för mina vänner, folk som jag känner så är dom jättenegativa precis som om jag ska dra in dom i nåt slags pyramidspel! Jag säljer produkter! Självklart om man är intresserad så gör jag en affärspresentation men det är inte vad en Happy Hour går ut på… Blir så ledsen när folk bara slår ifrån sig utan att ge mig en chans. Det är inget köptvång, jag kommer inte bli ledsen om ingen handlar, jag vill bara få chansen att visa att det faktiskt är bra grejer till bra priser.

Day 1 of my day off, yet another day of just pretty much relaxing, went to Algonkian Park today and did my usual ritual of shooting over there, Loaded a Lomo Film on my Yashica GT 35 and set off to the Park, w/c is good it has 36 shots more that enough to realy shoot on film and pick what to frame, after wards went to target for film developing, just develop & put it in CD. I am realy looking forward on the images, i have ask for the 1hr service so i can have time and did some research around. Me & my mom are planning to buy a TV for xmas, i am looking forward in it on Black friday anway, went back over an hour later and Fark! my films is not yet on a CD!!! it was developed, for crying out loud the lady who was in the counter can’t even find it, i have to point it to her the film w/c was just hanging by the table sheeshh!! so fine, i will wait for it to be scanned w/c it did realy took that long, went to borders and sit there enjoy my Peppermint mocha trio all excited like a kid who was set free and went to the candy store, w/c in my case the drink, a public place w/c is Border’s (unfortunately the skinny Lady took the soft leathery couch 1st, i ended up in a chair in the center, but still fine) and there free wi-fi.

as soon as i have viewed the image.. yes! a perfect little thing for me, edited it in LR and… shit!? hold on!!  arrgg.. not scanned in high resolution!! dammit!! went back there told the guy about the scenario,  he seems like a nice guy, but i won’t let him pass in this.. he’s also dumb.

yes!! un-fucking-belivable same old highquality crap-work, i am already tired, sleepy and frustrated… *sigh what a very nice start to end finish for my day… Sunday, where “normal” working class people are prepping up for a Monday to friday grind and i am just unwinding up for my life.. and all they have to do is fuck-up my film scans.. nice, i had a very wonderful day again aside from the morning i woke up and in bed speaking to somebody, but yes! goodfucking day to me… ohh i have inserted some shots on that film roll…
