This cupcake is from Lynne’s Pattern Parlour and my first three efforts (despite all coming from the same pattern) all came out slightly differently. I remember struggling with every row, YouTube-ing ‘kfb’ and ‘m1′ over and over. Running round the track, stopping ever so often to take a look at a How to Run handbook, or maybe just for a lie down.

This time, however, I’ve been steaming ahead. Powering on to the finishing line to Olympic Gold. No mistakes, no starting again. Just as it should be for my first ever knitted gift.
