Det ar sa vackert idag. Om ni bara visste Ser att det ar regn och rusk i mina trakter hemma. Too bad, eh? Det ar soligt och relativt varmt har. Friskt och skont, ahh…

Har atit svenska tunnbrod nu. Gav familjen en svensk kokbok, bland annat, och vi har nu producerat ca 18 stycken mjuka tunnbrod. De blev helt perfekta – pa forsta forsoket! Helt sinnesjukt vad de ar duktiga kockar har. Broden smakade himmelskt, by the way.

Tror jag far krypa till korset och kopa mig en laptop denna vecka. En MacBook Pro 15″ blir det troligen, tillsammans med en Magic Mouse. $1.860 landar kalaset pa, vilket ar ungefar 12 200 svenska kronor. Ganska bra pris, med tanke pa att hela paketet i Sverige skulle kostat ca 17 700 kronor. Jag hade anda tankt kopa en MacBook nagon gang under min vistelse i Kanada. Forst planerade jag kopet till varen, men det ar bara att lura sig sjalv genom att dra ut pa det. Jag behover datorn nu!

Alright, nu ar jag har! Inget svenskt tangenbord, men jag hoppas det gar bra. Jag flog alltsa fran Stockholm till Frankfurt till Calgary. Jag trodde det skulle bli grymt svart att hitta pa Frankfurts flygplats, men det gick ganska bra. Gick 50 meter in i terminalen, och dar fanns tavlor overallt med info om vilken gate planet till Calgary skulle komma till. hade ca 2 timmar att sla ihjal, sa jag kikade runt i butikerna (men kopte inget) och gick och hittade nagot att ata. McDonalds blev det – trotjanaren man alltid kan lita pa. Trist, vardagligt, trakigt val? Asch, man vet vad man far dar. Tysk mat kan man inte lita pa (haha ).

Till slut var det dags for bordning, och det var inte lite manniskor som skulle pa. Jag var hyfsat langt fram i kon, men sen visade det sig att de tog ombord folk i aldersordning – aldst forst! Jag kom till slut in till min fonsterplats dar jag skulle spendera de kommande 10-12 timmarna. Jag hade bara en pocketbok med mig in, samt min iPhone med musik, sa jag prisade mojligheten att se pa film och tv-serier pa planet. Tre filmer och nagra avsnitt av “How I Met Your Mother” hann jag med. Ocksa haftigt landskap att se ner pa: den guldfargade solen over molnen nar vi kom in i Kanada ar ett av de vackraste saker jag sett. Helt stunning.

Landningen kom (vi klarade oss) och jag gick av. Skittrott i huvud och muskler gick jag igenom tullen. Blev hanvisad till immigrationskontoret dar jag skulle fa mitt arbetsvisum. En butter snubbe tog emot mig, och fragade vad jag hade i Kanada att gora. Han blev kyligare nar jag sa att jag skulle jobba, men nar jag sedan visade mitt rekommendationsbrev fran kanadensiska ambassaden var det inga problem, och allt flot pa. Fick mitt tillstand och maste nu vara ute ur landet den 16 november 2010. Hamtade upp bagaget och motte mina slaktingar.

Val hemma at jag en skitgod middag. Kunde tyvarr inte njuta till fullo av den eftersom jag redan var proppad med flygplansmat, men den gjorde anda gott. Snackade lite, blev visad runt i huset och fick mitt rum. Passade mig utmarkt, och jag sov skitgott sedan. Just idag ar jag ensam hemma – alla andra jobbar eller ar i skolan. Har packat upp och fixat lite saker. Bekantat mig med de tva hundarna har jag ocksa. Ska se om jag ska ut pa en promenad i den gigantiska parken har bredvid sedan.

Under veckan maste jag ordna ett SIN-nummer som behovs nar man soker jobb i Kanada. Ska aven skapa ett bankkonto och ett kanadensiskt SIM-kort. Jag laste aven att Apple har en rea nu pa fredag – det gar rykten om att det blir hoga rabatter pa bl.a. iPods och Mac:ar. Om ryktena ar sanna (vilket jag betvivlar) kan jag fa en 15″ MacBook Pro for ca. 8 000 kr (absoluta minimipriset, 25% rabatt). I Sverige kostar samma modell runt 16 500 kr. Ett riktigt kap alltsa. Jag kanske koper datorn aven om det inte blir rabatter – da blir det ungefar 11 500 kr. Ganska bra anda… ska kanske fixa ett stadigt jobb innan jag kostar pa mig saker, men en Mac ska jag anda kopa nagon gang i alla fall..

La presentació dels nous productes d’Apple ens ha sorprès a tots. No perquè no esperéssim els canvis que han fet, si nó perque els han fet de cop i només actualitzant la web (no-keynote).

Recordo Keynotes molt més “pobres” que les actualitzacions d’ahir. Si tot això ho fan via web, què redimonis presentaran  a la pròxima Keynote?

Magic Mouse

Deixo pel final el que més m’ha agradat i que al mateix temps és assequible per a la meva butxaca (ja el tinc demanat! xDDD).

El Magic Mouse és el primer ratolí multi-touch del mercat mundial. Es tracta d’un ratolí làser i inalàmbic (Bluetooth) que no té cap botó. Es totalment tàctil i podrem clicar, lliscar, lliscar 2 dits, ….

Apple ha tornat a trencar el mercat amb un producte, tot i que previsible, que ningú fins ara s’havia atrevit a comercialitzar.

Esperem que sigui més ergonòmic que l’anterior.

Såg filmen “Flickan som lekte med elden” på bio nyss. Ganska seg och småtråkig emellanåt. Men alla som sett första delen och läst böckerna bör se filmen, nonetheless.

Apple har även släppt massor med goodies. Ny iMac (27″!), ny “magisk” mus, nya MacBooks och fjärrkontroll. Alla av dem är såklart några av de vackraste ting mänskligheten har skådat. Följer upp det mer imorrn tror jag. Ska pyssla ihop en till stor grej här snart, tror jag. När jag är stark nog kommer den. Beware.

Nu väntar två inspelade Simpsonsavsnitt samt två Scrubs. Kvällen fr.o.m. nu kommer uppfylla minst två av de sju dödssynderna.

To my home and also to some customers i need a Checkpoint Secure Client Connection. Since Snow Leopard on my Mac there is no Secure Client published from Checkpoint direct. But i found a great article from Harlad how to install Secure Client with some simple patching stuff to run without problems on Snow Leopard (10.6 and 10.6.1).

Nästa version av Mac OS X släpps på fredag. 10.6 är versionnumret, och kallas Snow Leopard. Som namnet antyder rör det sig inte om en skitstor uppdatering funktionsmässigt sett (jämför nuvarande Leopard). Apple har fokuserat mer på prestanda och ombyggnationer under ytan. Varför då uppgradera?

• Priset: uppdateringen kostar endast 319 kr. Jämför detta med Microsofts Windows 7 som säkerligen kommer kosta åtskilliga tusenlappar för oss konsumenter. Läs mer här.
• Prestanda. Alla tidiga testare är överens: allt går snabbare. Saker är stabilare, systemet flyter smidigare och små optimeringar gör vardagen roligare. Läs mer här.
• Storleken. Lyssna nu: när du uppdaterar till Snow Leopard frigörs 6 gigabyte på hårddisken. Frigörs. Sen när erhåller du utrymme när du kör en operativsystemsuppdatering? Det är ren magi (egentligen inte, men vafan).

Förpackningen gillar jag också. Lite annorlunda än föregångarna, men man måste bryta mönstret nångång. Jag gillar den ljusa, rena ytan. Alla de här djurnamnen (Puma, Cheetah, Jaguar, Panther, Tiger, Leopard) var egentligen interna kodnamn på systemen, men det är först nu man går ut med namnet “Snow Leopard” stort på förpackningen och på hemsidan.

Det är regnigt och muligt. Skärgården är inte skitrolig när det är såhär grått.. Man borde egentligen dra in till stan och göra nåt, men har inte kommit mig för. Har läst körkortsteori (to easy) och kollat film. “Baksmällan” var ruggigt överskattad, fyfan. Förutsägbart skit som inte fick mig att skratta mer än ett par gånger. Senare delen av filmen var bara tråkig … Ser “Valkyrie” med Tom Cruise nu (även fast jag vet handlingen).

Använder pappas MacBook nu. Jag måste säga; detta är alla datorers Rolls Royce. Jävlar i mig. Maskinen andas kvalitet, mobilitet, prestanda – ett riktigt gediget bygge. Läste häromdagen att Apple har 91% andel av marknaden för datorer som kostar $1,000 och mer. Ganska otroligt, men ändå självklart. De som verkligen älskar datorer har Mac, så är det bara. Man kör inte nåt äckelbygge från Dell för 6 000 kr som låter som ett tröskverk och har skumma skarvar och skruvar överallt. Senare i höst slår jag nog till på en MacBook i Kanada. Kommer vara en säker investering.

Yea YAMAKASI!!! It rocks my socks! I love this show and I swear I’m gonna watch it again later in the evening after I’m done with my Macro report. Most probably gonna switch my computer to my Dell and watch it in my bedroom. hahaha. Gosh I really need a TV in my room.

Yamakasi was introduced to me by none other Mr Big and Mud, they’ve been raving about it so I thought uh huh I shall watch it and since mud has the dvd I decided to steal it over for a couple of days and watch it at home.

It’s about a bunch of yippes whom were brought up in a complicated “hood” having most of the youngsters who’ve been brought up in such complicated environment turned into a druggie, paddler,” cook” or thieves (basically to sum it up is what we call the bad boys/ crooks/ delinquents), well this bunch of youngster, full of raging hormones, anger and energy, they decided to use all these energy to scale buildings and workout, to get the same adrenaline rush and excitment, oh which by the way building scaling is illegal in France and singapore too, hence always having the police going after their asses.

They are a bunch of good people helping the vulnerables in the neighbour and always there to lend their extra pair of hands. well…. sounds really intriguing now right… uh huh there’s more to the story but I shall not divulge anymore… go get the dvd from stores/ rent it/ watch streaming online.

Oh my evening workout run with mud was really great having to go for a run from yew tee to bt gombak and to teck whye and from teck whye I decided to take a stroll back to my place.

And thank you Mr Stanley. Hahaha now, you’ve made running for me a tad more interesting and I swear my runs that I’ll be taking part though you may not be there but I will be able to feel your presence as you’ know you’ve got something on me while I do my runs, to remind me to push harder and faster and I’m not alone…

Funny how sickening some people are don’t you think so? Is like the recent battle microsoft windows and google.Well and the all time long saga between microsoft and macintosh. So who’s copying who? can this question be answered? well a clip from CNN *if i did not remember wrongly* or some morning show, had asked this question to an I.T expert and guess what was his answer?

Well, we can’t exactly say who’s copying from who but rather we can conclude that both companies share pretty similar shit! It is just more of a matter of who declared what first under their name. It’s like just because you like MUJI and gotten yourself a pencilbox *laughs, come on I’ve got their tops and singlets* finally you declared it outloud first, doesn’t exactly give you the rights to go around calling others who fancy MUJI too, a copy cat.

And not just because you declared “WAKE UP YOUR IDEA!” allows you the credit to originality. I mean if I were to be mean and cynical plus so bothered I can randomly retort back by sayin “That’s boring shit, and so yesterday!” Probably, throw in a WTF#!? sign? Or show my buttcrack and have people going “What the shit is she trying to say?” Wouldn’t that rate it more viewers/ readers and do more publicity to market your website?

Back to the controversy of Microsoft and Macintosh saga, don’t you agree that both company benefited from the whole saga, in terms of getting their brand out there to the public and world? Sometimes, I wonder could it be BillGates and the CEO of Mac cohooted the whole “i copy u, u copy me” saga as some form of a low cost yet highly sucessful marketing campaign. Well it may not put two brands under the good light, definitely someone was in a worse off light but look at it both comapny got so popular over night. like tell me who do not know micrsososft and macintosh? This leaves me with yet another question, Tell me who doesn’t like to hear, read or watch juicy gossips news by the paparazzi? Who do not enjoy watching or reading bitch fights/ blog wars/ celebraties’ disputes- eg. Nicole richie and Paris Hilton.??

Look at the google chrome and windows again? Tell me that this article in the Straits Times didn’t catch you geekish I.T freaks attention? I’d bet it so did right?! Isn’t it like another publicity gimmick act then? once again Micrsosoft windows has been featured in today’s news and well Google too!

Like britney for being so infamous for all her good girl gone bad acts? But seriously, look at it from another point of view, do you remember these people? like tell me who do not know Britney??? Tell me who do not know madonna and the most recently deceased MJ? Tell me who strikes you better, Mother teresa or Britney Spears? Ghandhi or Micheal Jackson? Queen Elizabeth or Paris Hilton?

Do you see a similarity? We remember figures for their infamous doings bettter than people who are know for good acts or kindness. So probably Britney may not be that bad but because of media publicity she could’ve just acted bad, paris hilton too, Micheal Jackson too, like come on how do you judge these people, the only thing you can conclude is that “Yes I heard their name, and I know these people exists.” Who can tell who’s bad who’s wrong, can you?

Conclusion:

Well, first off we now know that certain people just have to resort to such tricks to market his/her own blog and to entice readers’ appetite and make their life into a big drama kinda crap just to bring in more blog counts. Look at how the media can do wonders and how twisted and complicated some news can get and cause uproars? How media when used properly can be your best friend to help you with publicity

Off the note, I really don’t care much of how others think of me as it’s my life and my show. I should be the one under the limelight and it really doesnt matter much for come to think about it I may still need to thank a certain somebody for doing my blog such good publicity.

Secondly, in the case of who’s copying from who as mentioned in above, my view is there’s no copy cats in daily life like seriously, it’s just a matter of who declared what first. Before Bill Gates came up with Windows OS there was already some brillant ass who had writtena better one just that the brillant person didnt sieze the opportunity of striking it rich, unlike Bill Gates who is a brilliant business man but not a brilliant IT guru.

So if I were to declare I like everything in life from labels to places to food to countries to every inch on this planet and every matter or particle you can find on EARTH, wouldn’t you, my friends be a case of copy cat?!
