Ngôi sao phim “Home Alone” – “Ở nhà một mình” từng hiến tinh trùng để Michael Jackson thụ tinh nhân tạo con trai thứ hai, Prince Michael II. Có thể Macaulay Culkin chính là cha của cậu bé này.

Michael Jackson trở nên đặc biệt thân thiết với Macaulay Culkin, từ khi bộ phim Home Alone làm nên kỷ lục doanh thu năm 1990. Anh mời diễn viên nhí này góp mặt trong video ca khúc Black or White năm 1991. Macaulay cũng là khách thường xuyên tại điền trang Neverland, đồng thời là nhân chứng bảo vệ Michael trong vụ anh bị kiện lạm dụng tình dục trẻ vị thành niên năm 2005.

Một nguồn tin tiết lộ với tờ Sun (Anh): “Hai người này có mối quan hệ rất gắn bó. Bây giờ khắp nơi đang đồn đại Macaulay là cha ruột của Prince Michael II. Chính Michael đề nghị Macaulay hiến tinh trùng để giúp anh có một gia đình hoàn hảo”. Bạn bè của “vua nhạc pop” cho biết, ca sĩ này cũng không phải cha đẻ của Michael (12 tuổi) và con gái Paris (11 tuổi).

Welcome to the Thanksgiving post. Thanksgiving is an important day of the year, and very well may be my favorite holiday. It’s a seriously great meal, and as a child I would often get birthday presents from Aunts, Uncles and Grandparents who would not have another opportunity to see me before the anniversary of my birth.

This Thanksgiving has been pretty standard with one major exception: Chuck did the majority of the cooking. This man, my father, has done little more than reheat pasta for himself over the course of the last 30 years, and has never cooked a complete meal for himself that I am aware of. But, beginning yesterday he took charge of the kitchen and managed to prepare a completely delicious Thanksgiving feast, with all the trimmings, on par with any of the previous 22 that I have tasted. Who knew that Chuck had so many talents?

So we’re having a completely wonderful and delicious Thanksgiving, just like we’re supposed to.

Originally, I planned a different SPECIAL FEATURE for today, because I wanted today’s pick to be the final SPECIAL FEATURE, so the category could be bookended by John Hughes films. (Yes, apparently, bookended is a real word. I was shocked, too). But there is only one true holiday tradition in the Pingeton house, and that is watching this fine, fine production every Thanksgiving day. Home Alone is not only the greatest Christmas movie ever made, it is the greatest movie ever, period.

Home Alone is, without any doubt or hesitation, my favorite film. Written and produced by John Hughes, this 1990 film follows Kevin McCallister through his adventures when he is accidentally left home alone when his family heads to Paris for Christmas. Kevin believes that he has made his family disappear when he wakes up to find them missing, after having stomped at the top of the stairs while shouting, “When I grow up and get married, I’m living alone!”, and telling his mother that family sucks and that he wished he didn’t have one.

His time starts out the way any 8-year-old might spend time if they were left home alone for an indefinite period: he makes messes, runs around the house, jumps on the bed, and eats an obscene amount of junk food while watching movies his parents told him he wasn’t allowed to view. Things turn sour for the young McCallister pretty quickly though, as Harry and Marv, the burglars who are scoping the neighborhood, pay him a visit. He keeps his cool and scares them off, but the rest of the movie centers around his encounters with the self-proclaimed Wet Bandits.

We see Kevin act very adult; cleaning himself and grocery shopping, preparing for Christmas, and doing laundry, and we see the parallel story of his mother trying to get back to Chicago; scared out of her mind that he’s going to burn the house down or find some other way to kill himself.

Home Alone relies heavily on quick-witted exchanges and the brilliant writing of John Hughes. I know most of the script by heart, and I can tell you with confidence that there is not a single piece of dialogue that is anything less than perfect. There’s a great story-line regarding the South-Bend Shovel Slayer, who is in actuality just a nice old man, and the crap Kevin pulls off is ingenious and somehow believable despite how implausible it is. When he creates the decoy Christmas party to make Harry and Marv believe that he is not home alone, he pulls off an amazing stunt, but you might think that two grown men might recognize that the Michael Jordan cardboard cutout gliding around the room on a train set isn’t human.

The best part of the movie is the excitement that ensues during the execution of  “The Battle Plan” against the Wet Bandits on their Christmas Eve break-in. Kevin booby traps the house in fantastic ways, and really beats the crap out of Marv and Harry. The sequence is as true to action-adventure as a Christmas movie can dream of getting. Of course, I can’t reveal what happens, because if you haven’t seen it, YOU NEED TO and it shouldn’t be spoiled.

I find it nearly impossible to believe that Home Alone came out 19 years ago (original release date was Nov. 16, 1990), and I think that might be a sign that I’m starting to get old. I just can’t imagine a better film ever being created. It is an absolute high point in the works of John Hughes, and while Home Alone 3 & 4 might hurt the integrity of the original work (they probably hurt the integrity of all of John Hughes’ work), Home Alone stands as cinematic masterpiece.

Apparently other people don’t feel as strongly about the film as I do. It was slim pickings on YouTube. This is what I chose.

But really, just watch the damn film.

Though John Hughes penned both Home Alone and Planes, Trains & Automobiles. I’ll take Steve Martin and John Candy trying to get home for Thanksgiving over Macaulay Culkin stranded home alone anyday. Leaving us to debate what is the best scene. (major spoiler ahead)

I’m not a closet lez. This is something I should explain early on cause I don’t want you assuming I hide my Bad Girls box sets away everytime my Mom comes to visit. I’m just not an obvious hair gel and camo shorts kinda dyke, so these things take explaining.

My first ever crush was Macaulay Culkin. I saw him in Home Alone on a pirate video when I was about 9 and I was a gal posessed. I hid a little drawstring bag with teddy bears on under my bed, full of magazine clippings I collected like a freak. It would be the kind of stash that, if belonging to an adult, would tip off an entire paedophile ring. Seriously, anything Mac related I could get my mitts on I silently cut out with crimped scissors and folded into tiny squares. The teddy bear bag was a tombola of 10 year old baby-faced prizes. I never even looked at them, I was too scared my Dad would walk in and see what a freak I was. I just carried on stashing, not even telling my friends about my crush.

I believed that I would genuinely become his girlfriend if I tried hard enough. I went to acting lessons every week, wrote romantic raps we could duet on and wrote sequels to Home Alone where I became Kevin Mcallister’s devious and loveable British cousin, and we threw paint pots at those jewish robbers.

It was all a bit fucked up. I didn’t really know what sex was, but my first hot dream consisted of me and Macaulay in a doctors examination room, he was helping me trying to insert a tampon and we had matching mittens. That was the taboo extent my pre-teen brain could manage.  Pretty risqué yeah?

In the end I told these two chinese twins in my class that I was obsessed with him. They laughed and bought me in a poster from Smash Hits of Macaulay standing next to Michael Jackson at Disney Land. I had a massive sense of relief, my terrible obsessive secret was out there with Ling and Sue, and nobody thought it was bizarre.

I got a bit sick of Macualay after Home Alone 2 was made – not the version I wrote which was WAY superior - he started brushing his hair back and I discovered Shane from Boyzone was more of a hunk. I threw the teddy bear bag away and stopped watching My Girl every evening, I stopped trying to recreate his exact facial expression in the famous ‘Home Along scream’ and even put my copy of The Pagemaster into the lost property bin at school.

Then a million years later I saw this

and nearly ejaculated on the spot. What the fuck? I wish I’d NEVER thrown the teddy bear bag away. How dare my first ever obsessive crush make a reappearance years into my full blown queer life? FUCK HIM.

Thank god Party Monster was such a pile of cliche  shit, otherwise I might be taking up those acting lessons again and writing letters to Mac’s agent demanding we re-think my ‘Home Alone and Horny’ adult movie pitch.

Na confusão cotidiana dificilmente algo consegue chamar nossa atenção em meio a tantas buzinas, apitos, gritos a esmo, reclamações…

Mas eis que de repente, não mais que de repente, na entrada da loja de uma grande rede de venda de calçados, ouço o diálogo entre duas tchutchucas.

- Você sabe que eu não gosto muito dessa papagaiada de me vestir toda de um jeito só, né?

- Não vai nem olhar?

- Então, não gosto, mas tenho que tá preparada, né? Já tenho essa sandália de tigresa em casa!

- Toda poderosa, então…

- Pois, é, nunca se sabe. Hoje tô com a calcinha de tigresa. Vai que o bofe que me quer toda montada à noite. Nâo posso ser pega de surpresa…

Assim, para além da questão do gosto duvidoso da moçoila, o maior problema é que eu sou uma pessoa que imagina coisas. Então, as possibilidades resultantes desta audição involuntária podem ser…

Just saw the new Michael Jackson movie, This Is It, and I’m not really sure if I liked it. Some parts of it were really cool like when he danced to “Creeper” “Thriller,” “Smooth Criminal,” and when the hot blond chick played guitar solos. Other parts were really drawn out and boring like when Michael preached about how we have to save the planet and sang boring songs about Earth. Some other parts, like when he tells the camera how to get away with touching little boys, were just weird. I couldn’t believe they included it in the final cut!

In order to come up with a final rating for the movie, I’ll list the pros and cons.

Pros:

Michael’s new dancers were amazing, High Def footage looked great, Thriller/Smooth Criminal, Michael didn’t awkwardly kiss any chicks.

Cons:

There’s a part where Michael wears Ed Hardy sweatpants, Michael couldn’t move very well, his nose was freaky, blond guitar girl didn’t show her boobs, too many slow songs, no 3-d, Michael dies so the concert never actually happens.

Looks like the cons outweigh the pros. I felt bored too many times throughout the movie which shouldn’t happen for anything involving Michael Jackson.

I give it 2 boobs out of 5.

Jacob’s Ladder is a 1990 psychological thriller / horror film directed by Adrian Lyne, based on a screenplay by Bruce Joel Rubin. It stars Tim Robbins, Elizabeth Peña, Danny Aiello, and Jason Alexander. Actor Macaulay Culkin appears in an uncredited performance.

Tagline:  The most frightening thing about Jacob Singer’s nightmare is that he isn’t dreaming.

Trivia:

• All SFX were filmed live, with no post-production. For example, to achieve the famous ’shaking head’ effect, director Adrian Lyne simply filmed the actor waving his head around (and keeping his shoulders and the rest of his body completely still) at 4fps, resulting in an incredibly fast and deeply disturbing motion when played back at the normal frame-rate of 24fps.
• The Bergen Street station in the film was actually an abandoned, lower level portion of the station, which had to be re-tiled and fixed to look as if it was still in working condition.
• All ads in the subway and Bergen Street station are anti-drug ads.
• According to the original script, the subway station Jacob arrives at in the beginning of the movie was supposed to be Nostrand Avenue – not Bergen Street.
• According to the original script, after Jacob is nearly run over by the subway train, a sequence involving a man being raped in the subway station mens bathroom was supposed to occur. It was filmed but deleted from the final cut (parts of the scene can be seen in the Making-Of featurette Building ‘Jacob’s Ladder’ (1990) (V)).
• Writer Bruce Joel Rubin wrote the script for Jacob’s Ladder in 1980 after he had a dream of being trapped in a subway. He spent ten years trying to get it produced, but the script remained languishing in developmental limbo. During this period, Rubin’s agent told him that the film would never be made as “Hollywood doesn’t make ghost movies”. After the Rubin scripted Ghost (1990) became a smash hit, coupled with the success of Alan Parker’s Angel Heart (1987), studios became more open to the possibilities of Rubin’s script. After taking on the role of director, Adrian Lyne spent over a year refining the script with writer Rubin.
• Adrian Lyne made sure Jacob and his visions never appear together in the same shot.
• The hospital gurney that carries Jacob was deliberately unbalanced by Adrian Lyne. He raised one wheel slightly off the floor, causing it to rattle and spin.
• The confrontation between Jacob and Geary originally takes place in a courtroom corridor. Lyne moved them to the stairs in order to downplay the height difference between Tim Robbins (who is 6′ 5″) and ‘Jason Alexander’ (who is 5′ 5″).
• Some additional scenes from the original script which were changed or removed by director Adrian Lyne: – During the dance scene, ALL the dancers turn into demons. – During one of his Vietnam flashbacks, Jacob has a vision of a “celestial staircase” accompanied by heavenly music. – Jacob watches a reverend on TV who rants about the world coming to an end. – Jacob sees an image of a demon on the wall of his living room, which, when he looks closely at it, becomes a portal to Hell. – A scene following the “antidote” sequence in which the ceiling explodes and Jacob is surrounded by a vision of Heaven. – A different ending, where Jezzie turns herself inside-out and transforms into a huge demon, which Jacob has to fight before ascending to heaven.
• The closing legend of the film mentions the testing of a drug named BZ in Vietnam. BZ is NATO code for a hallucinogen called 3-quinuclidinyl benzilate, which was rumored to have been administered to US troops during the Vietnam War in an attempt to increase their combat abilities.
• After initial test audiences reported that the film was overwhelming, director Adrian Lyne cut out almost thirty minutes of material, almost all of which came from the last third of the film. Four major sequences were removed after Jacob (Tim Robbins) first meets Michael (Matt Craven); a scene where Michael gives him an antidote for the Ladder, a scene where Jacob thinks he is cured but turns out not to be; a scene where he goes to Michael’s apartment and finds Michael decapitated; and a scene just prior to his final meeting with Gabe (Macaulay Culkin), where he meets Jezzie (Elizabeth Peña), who shows her true form.
• For all of the chiropractor scenes, director Adrian Lyne ensured there was a real chiropractor on-set, who would work with actor Danny Aiello so as to ensure authenticity. According to Lyne, chiropractors often approach him and thank him for going to the trouble of getting what they do exactly right.
• According to director Adrian Lyne, most of the dialogue in the opening scene between the soldiers was improvised on set by the actors themselves, especially the conversation between George (Ving Rhames) and Jacob (Tim Robbins) about masturbation.
• Prior to the commencement of filming, former US marine Dale Dye took actors Tim Robbins, Pruitt Taylor Vince, Eriq La Salle, Ving Rhames, Brian Tarantina, Brent Hinkley and Anthony Alessandro to a 5-day military boot camp.
• Adrian Lyne also heavily rewrote the scene involving the biblical Jacob’s ladder at the end of the film. Writer Bruce Joel Rubin had written the scene to involve a massive staircase ascending into the clouds, with crowds of people lining it, towering columns, and huge gates at the summit. Again however, Lyne felt that such an image could come across as preposterous (he refers to Rubin’s original conception as the Liberace scene’ on the DVD commentary track). As such, Lyne rewrote the scene to involve simply the staircase in Jacob’s house, basing this on the principal that heaven is wherever you were happiest.
• In the original screenplay, writer Bruce Joel Rubin had created a typical Biblical hell, complete with winged demons, cloven hoofed devils with horns, people with beaks and strange objects lying randomly around (director Adrian Lyne likens Rubin’s vision to the work of Hieronymus Bosch). As with Rubin’s general depiction of demons however, Lyne felt that such scenes could very easily make an audience laugh. As such, he decided to rewrite the scene of Jacob’s descent into hell; ultimately coming up with the hospital sequence where Jacob is wheeled on a gurney into a metaphorical hell which becomes more and more grotesque as he moves.
• In Bruce Joel Rubin’s original screenplay, all of the demons who appear throughout the film were typical biblical demons with horns, wings, cloven hooves etc. Director Adrian Lyne felt that this kind of imagery could very easily come across as comic, which would destroy the film. He felt that the fact that the imagery was so far from human lessened its impact, and as such, he decided he wanted the demons to be humanesque, but not quite human. During his research into this (which was when he discovered the photography of Joel-Peter Witkin), Lyne came across the Thalidomide scandal. Thalidomide was a drug made available for purchase from 1957 to 1961. Ostensibly, it was designed to treat pregnant women; primarily as an antiemetic to combat morning sickness, and secondarily as a sleeping aid. However, prior to its release, inadequate clinical tests were carried out, leading to roughly 10,000 children in Africa and Europe being born with severe physical deformities because their mothers had taken thalidomide during their pregnancy. The most common defects were phocomelia, dysmelia, amelia and polymelia; all conditions which affect the appearance of the limbs. During his research, Lyne studied the Thalidomide case, and came to feel that the birth defects caused by the drug represented the perfect starting place for his redesign of Rubin’s demons. The Thalidomide scandal was also the inspiration for David Cronenberg’s Scanners (1981).
• According to director Adrian Lyne, the drug aspect of the story was inspired by the Martin Lee and Bruce Shlain book, “Acid Dreams: The CIA, LSD and Sixties Rebellion”.
• Director Adrian Lyne used the art of painters William Blake, H.R. Giger, and Francis Bacon and photographers Diane Arbus and Joel-Peter Witkin as his primary influences for the visual style of the film.
• The film was green-lit by Paramount Pictures (with whom Adrian Lyne had made both Flashdance (1983) and Fatal Attraction (1987), and with whom writer Bruce Joel Rubin had made Ghost (1990)), but there was a change of leadership in the studio and the new executives were unsure of the film. They demanded that the end of the movie be changed, but both Lyne and Rubin refused, and so Paramount pulled the plug on the film. It appeared as if the project was going to have to be completely abandoned until Mario Kassar and Andrew G. Vajna of Carolco Pictures saved it with a budget of $25 million. They also gave Lyne complete creative control as well as final cut of the film.
• In an ironic reversal, Adrian Lyne turned down directorial duties on The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990) so he could direct Jacob’s Ladder. His first choice for the role of Jacob Singer was Tom Hanks, but Hanks turned down the film so he could make The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990).
• According to writer Bruce Joel Rubin, the script was heavily inspired by the Bardo Thodol (The Tibetan Book of the Dead), the biblical story of Jacob’s ladder and Robert Enrico’s Oscar-winning short film La rivière du hibou (1962), based on the 1890 Ambrose Bierce short story ‘An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge’, in which much of the narrative is a man’s experience of an imagined life in the spilt second before he dies.
• Actors who were allegedly interested in playing the leading role of Jacob Singer included Dustin Hoffman, Al Pacino and Richard Gere. For the role of Jezzie, director Adrian Lyne auditioned roughly 300 women, including Julia Roberts, Andie MacDowell, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez. The role eventually went to the very first person who auditioned – Elizabeth Peña.
• Sidney Lumet, Michael Apted and Ridley Scott all tried to get the project green-lit during its ten-year period of non-production.
• Don Johnson and Mickey Rourke both turned down the lead role.

When going back to watch a film you loved as a child, there is always a risk that you may no longer like it or you just think its daft. Well I tested that theory out today on “Richie Rich” a film I totally loved as a child and watched so many times. Yes the main reason I love it then and still love it now is Macaculay Culkin. Watching it this afternoon, I did not take it too seriously instead I just watched it and it was all so familiar. I knew the story I knew most of what was going to happen like I had just watched it yesterday and not years ago.

It is by no means a great film or a standout film, but it’s just one of those which I could probably call a guilty pleasure now after it being a favorite when I was young. I think its good you can still feel the same way about a film. Most of the stuff I thought was cool back then, I still thought wow that would have been cool today. Like having a McDonald’s inside your house, just something a kid would love.

For those who do not know the basic plot of the movie. Richie is the richest kid in the world, his parents Richard and Regina are worth something daft like 70 Billion Dollars. Some of their employee’s have their mind-set on killing the family in order to get into the Rich family vault.

Yes it is full of cliche’s for how much money they are supposed to have, I mean even having their surname as Rich. But it’s still amusing nonetheless. But Richie has a problem with his life although he has everything money wise, he does not have any friends who he can just “hang out” with and pretty much be a kid. This changes when he sees some kids playing Baseball and he ends up making friends with them.

As his parents end up stranded in the ocean after a bomb was planted on their plane, Richie must try and save everything for his family. He just knows that his parents are still alive but it takes some proving that he is right, especially as his life is in danger as well.

I think one of the underlying points of this story which I would not have realised when I was young, is that money cannot buy you everything that you need in your life. Somethings you just cannot buy, like true friendships and knowing who you can trust.

While this film does have some cringeworthy lines and just not brilliant I still find it to be a good film that kids should watch as I do not think it has really dated that much since its release date 15 years ago. So if you have kids this is a definite film for them to watch as I am sure they are well aware of Macaulay Culkin as the Home Alone kid so why not take in another of his films?

The Orange Film Adverts really have become part of the cinema experience over the past few years now. Wondering when it is eventually going to change after months and months of the same advert, telling you to switch off your mobile phone. So I thought I would have a little trip down memory lane and pick out my top 10 of the adverts. This could be amusing and annoying, having a look back through the adverts which you do talk about a lot. It is very good to see the actors allowing their movies or parts to be made fun of in jest.

Got to be slightly amused at Darth Vader being told no, haha.

9. Val Kilmer

Trying to get text messages into a Western . . . only in an Orange advert. “Val’s lost that lovin’ feelin”

8. Snoop Dogg

All amusing just for the Orange guys trying to sound cool and rap.

7. Macaulay Culkin

“How old are now, 15?” “I’m 26″ that is just fantastic as everyone still sees him as the “Home Alone” kid.

6. Verne Troyer

 The obvious joke, yep Dr Evil. Fantastic!

5. Patrick Swayze

The late Patrick Swayze, is just brilliant when they all start quoting his movies “no one puts Swayze in the corner” and the use of “ditto”.

4. Steven Seagal

Just having Steven Seagal saying romantic comedy is pure brilliance.

3. Anjelica Huston

The whole Addams Family refrence and “Huston, we have a problem” fantastic.

2. Sean Astin

I always loved this one being a LOTR geek and everything. Its just hilarious at the end making it appear Sean is really Hobbit size.

1. Rob Lowe

I just love the curly haired guy “OMG Rob Lowe just looked right at me” what a classic moment and I am not joking that I laughed at this every time for the probable 6 months it was on for.

Las estrellas de Hollywood no son siempre tan rutilantes como estamos acostumbrados a verlas. Drogas, posesión de armas, conducción temeraria, escándalo público, hurto, prostitución, maltratos o elevado índice de alcohol en sangre son algunas de las lindezas que han provocado que rostros muy famosos acabaran siendo detenidos.

Son tantos y tantas los que han acabado esposados que ha sido necesario realizar una pequeña selección, a menudo condicionada por la falta de testimonio gráfico del arresto en cuestión. De ahí que Jean-Claude Van Damme, Ray Liotta, Sean Penn , Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Sylvester Stallone o Roman Polanski, entre muchos otros, se hayan librado de aparecer en esta lista negra.

Tiene derecho a guardar en silencio…

AIDAN QUINN

Quinn fue arrestado por conducir borracho. Dos años después se le declaró culpable, tuvo que pagar 500 dólares de multa y se le retiró el carnet durante tres meses.

AL PACINO

En 1961 y con 21 años Al Pacino fue detenido por estar en posesión de una pistola del calibre 38 y cargada. Parece ser que Pacino pasó tres días en el calabozo y que los cargos fueron retirados posteriormente.

BRAD RENFRO

Tres fueron las veces que el joven Renfro pasó por la comisaría antes de morir en 2008 a los 25 años de edad.

En 1998 fue detenido y acusado por posesión de cocaína y marihuana, en 2000 por intentar robar un yate totalmente drogado y en 2006 cuando quiso comprar heroína a una policía vestido de paisano.

CARMEN ELECTRA

La explosiva Carmen Electra fue detenida en 1999 tras agredir a su ex marido el jugador de la NBA Dennis Rodman.

CHRISTIAN SLATER

Christian Slater también posee un amplio currículum de detenciones. La foto que os mostramos es de diciembre de 1994 cuando fue arrestado en el aeropuerto JFK de Nueva York por tenencia ilícita de armas.

CHRIS KLEIN

Klein, al que pudimos ver en “American Pie” (1999), “American Pie 2″ (2001), “Cuando éramos soldados” (2002) o “El mundo de Leland” (2004), fue detenido en 2005 por conducir borracho. Parece ser que su tasa de alcohol en sangre duplicaba la permitida en el estado de California, lo que le supuso una multa de 1.800 dólares y la obligación de realizar 150 horas de trabajo comunitario.

CHRIS TUCKER

Chris Tucker que interpretó al histérico y excesivo Ruby Rhod de “El quinto elemento” (Luc Besson, 1997)  fue arrestado por exceso de velocidad con el agravante de que no se detuvo ante el aviso de los agentes de policía.

DANIEL BALDWIN

La carrera delictiva de Daniel Baldwin (hermano de Alec) es más prolífica que la cinematográfica. En 1998 fue arrestado por posesión de cocaína tras haberse paseado desnudo por los pasillos del Hotel Plaza de Nueva York. Después de acumular varios arrestos, fue nuevamente detenido en 2006 acusado de haber robado un coche. Aunque posteriormente se demostró que era el vehículo de un amigo, el actor no se libró de pagar una fianza de 20.000 dólares por haber tomado prestado el dichoso coche sin permiso de su colega.

DAVID BOWIE

El cantante y actor David Bowie fue arrestado en 1976 por posesión de marihuana. El “Duque Blanco” se encontraba en un hotel en compañía del también cantante Iggy Pop.

DENNIS HOPPER

En 1975 Hopper sufrió un accidente a consecuencia de su conducción temeraria. Posteriormente fue detenido por no informar a las autoridades de dicho accidente, por huir del lugar de los hechos y por resistencia a la autoridad.

DUDLEY MOORE

Dudley Moore (“10, la mujer perfecta”, “Arthur, el soltero de oro”) fue arrestado en 1994 por violencia de género, aunque su novia, Nicole Richardson, retiró posteriormente los cargos.

EDWARD FURLONG

El John Connor de “Terminator 2″ (1991) y el Danny Vinyard de “American History X” (1998) ha sido otro de esos jóvenes actores que han terminado coqueteando con el alcohol y las drogas. En 2001, Furlong pisó la comisaría en dos ocasiones: una por conducir borracho y otra por hacerlo sin el permiso reglamentario. Este año 2009 su mujer, la actriz Rachel Kneeland, lo ha acusado de agresión y amenazas.

ERIC ROBERTS

Eric Roberts (hermano de Julia) también fue un habitual “visitante” de las comisarías. En 1987 fue arrestado por posesión de cocaína y marihuana y por resistirse a la autoridad. La violencia de género fue el otro delito por el que se le detuvo en 1995.

FATTY ARBUCKLE

La estrella de cine mudo Fatty Arbuckle fue detenido en 1921 como presunto autor de la muerte de la actriz Virginia Rappe. Tras una fiesta en un hotel a la que la joven estaba invitada, comenzó a sentirse mal y murió tres días después de una peritonitis. Una amiga de Rappe y la prensa sensacionalista de la época acusaron falsamente a Arbuckle de ser el causante del fallecimiento por haber violado a la joven con una botella. Aunque fue absuelto, su carrera cinematográfica quedó totalmente arruinada.

FRANK SINATRA

El arresto de Frank Sinatra no deja ser de lo más curioso. Corría el año 1938 y se le detuvo por (parece ser) haber mantenido una relación con una mujer casada. Cómo cambian los tiempos…

GARY DOURDAN

El famoso Warrick Brown de la serie televisiva “C.S.I.” fue detenido cuando pernoctaba en su coche y en el cual se encontró heroína, cocaína, éxtasis y varios tipos de fármacos. Tras pagar una fianza de 5.000 dólares, Dourdan fue puesto en libertad acusado de posesión de narcóticos. El careto de su ficha policial lo dice todo.

GUS VAN SANT

En 2006 el director estadounidense Gus van Sant sufrió un arresto por conducir borracho.

HALEY JOEL OSMENT

El niño que en ocasiones veía muertos a punto estuvo de convertirse en uno de ellos siendo ya mayorcito. Tras estrellar el coche que conducía cerca de su casa, los policías que acudieron al lugar del accidente comprobaron que Osment no sólo iba borracho, sino que hallaron que estaba en posesión de marihuana. En estos momentos es imposible no acordarse de aquel visionario e hilarante vídeo de los de “El informal”.

HEATHER LOCKLEAR

La Sammy Jo de “Dinastía” y la Amanda de “Melrose Place” fue arrestada en 2008 por conducir borracha y con alguna que otra sustancia más en su cuerpo. Aunque se difundió que todo había sido una trampa de una ex empleada de la actriz, el asunto nunca llegó a aclararse. Qué pena que Heather no tuviera tiempo de ir a la peluquería antes de que la fotografiaran para rellenar su ficha policial.

HUGH GRANT

En 1995 Grant fue detenido acusado de conducta indecente (=una prostituta estaba realizándole una felación) y el 2007 volvió a una comisaría de policía por agredir a un paparazzi.

JASON PATRICK

Ir drogado y atacar a uno de los agentes que le detuvieron le supuso un grave problema a Patrick que siempre declaró su inocencia y demandó al susodicho policía. Aunque la oficina del fiscal retiró los cargos, el jurado federal falló a favor del agente.

JEAN FONDA

La reivindicativa Jane Fonda fue arrestada en 1970 en el Aeropuerto Internacional Hopkins de Cleveland. No sólo golpeó a uno de los oficiales de la aduana, sino que en su equipaje se encontraron píldoras de vitaminas y Valium por lo que se le imputó un cargo de tráfico de drogas. Lo absurdo de la acusación se resolvió con un sobreseimiento de los cargos cuando se demostró que esas sustancias eran completamente legales.

JEFFREY DONOVAN

Lo visteis junto a Angelina Jolie en “El intercambio” (Clint Eastwood, 2008) encarnando al Capitán J.J. Jones. El 12 de julio de este año se le detuvo en Miami Beach por conducir borracho y por negarse a realizar la prueba de alcoholemia. Tras pagar 1.000 dólares de fianza, Donovan fue puesto en libertad.

JENNIFER LÓPEZ

La actriz y cantante Jennifer López fue arrestada en 1999  junto a su novio Sean “Puffy” Combs después verse involucrada en un tiroteo en un club nocturno de Manhattan. Tras pasar 14 horas detenida, fue puesta en libertad sin cargos.

JOSH BROLIN

Mientras rodaba la película “W” (2008) de Oliver Stone, Brolin (junto con otros miembros del equipo) acabó con sus huesos en prisión después de haber participado en una pelea en un bar. Tras pagar una fianza de 334 dólares fue puesto en libertad.

JOSHUA JACKSON

Joshua Jackson, que saltó a la fama tras su participación en la serie televisiva ”Dawson crece”, acabó en comisaría en 2002 por soltarle unos cuantos guantazos a un segurata en un partido de hockey.

JULIETTE LEWIS

En comparación con sus otros colegas de profesión, lo de Lewis es una simple anécdota: fue detenida por hallarse en un club nocturno para mayores de edad cuando la actriz sólo tenía 16 años.

KEANU REEVES

En 1993 el futuro Neo de la trilogía “Matrix” fue arrestado por conducir borracho. Reeves tenía 29 años.

KIEFER SUTHERLAND

Kiefer Sutherland, el agente Bauer de la serie televisiva “24”, pasó 48 horas en el calabozo por conducir con unas copichuelas de más lo que le llevó a realizar un cambio de sentido prohibido (estos yanquis fliparían con los vídeos de la DGT). Fue en 2007

LINDSAY LOHAN

La díscola actriz ha sufrido dos arrestos en 2009. En mayo se la detuvo por conducir borracha (estrelló su deportivo contra un seto) y decidió ingresar en una clínica de desintoxicación de la que salió el 5 de octubre pasado. Tres días después Lohan volvía a ser detenida por conducir, nuevamente, bajo los efectos del alcohol y por encontrarse restos de cocaína en su bolsillo. Por más que la amiguísima de Paris Hilton ha declarado que la droga no era suya, ha tenido que desembolsar 30.000 dólares de fianza y deberá comparecer ante el juez.

MACAULAY CULKIN

Uno de esos niños prodigio que no ha sabido crecer en condiciones. En 2004 Culkin fue arrestado por posesión de drogas y quedó en libertad tras pagar una fianza de 6.000 dólares. Atención a su cara de empanado.

MARTIN SHEEN

Parece ser que Martin Sheen, activista declarado, ha sido detenido más de 60 veces por participar en manifestaciones (no autorizadas) de distinta índole. Como no tenemos espacio para incluir 60 fotos, ahí os dejamos éstas dos como muestra.

MATT DILLON

El actor fue detenido en 2008 por exceso de velocidad. No deja de ser paradójico que Dillon fuese nominado al Globo de oro y al Oscar al Mejor Actor Secundario por la película “Crash” (Paul Haggis, 2005)…

MATTHEW McCONAUGHEY

En 1999 McConaughey decidió darse unos bailoteos por su barrio completamente desnudo. Al parecer el actor había fumado marihuana (hecho que no pudo ser demostrado, aunque su careto en la foto casi no deja lugar a dudas) y se le arrestó. Tras pagar una fianza de 1.000 dólares, fue puesto en libertad.

MEL GIBSON

El actor-director se ganó una sonora detención (segunda) en 2006 por conducir borracho por una autopista de Malibú. Durante su arresto se comportó de forma violenta e insultante (“los judíos son los responsables de todas las guerras en el mundo”). Después de desembolsar los 5.000 dólares de la fianza y quedar en libertad, Gibson comenzó a recibir ayuda de Alcohólicos Anónimos.

MICHELLE RODRÍGUEZ

Michelle Rodríguez, actriz de la serie televisiva “Perdidos” ha sido arrestada en dos ocasiones. En 2003 se la detuvo por conducir borracha y con el permiso caducado y en 2005, nuevamente, por coger el coche con una copas de más. En esta última detención iba acompañada de Cynthia Watros, otras de las actrices que participan en la serie citada anteriormente.

MICKEY ROURKE

Mickey Rourke ha visitado en dos ocasiones la trena. En 1994 se le detuvo por agredir a la también actriz Carré Otis (su esposa en esos momentos) y en 2007 por conducir su moto en estado de embriaguez.

NICK NOLTE

En 2008 fue arrestado por conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol cuando transitaba por una calle de Malibú. Sobran los comentarios observando el aspecto que presenta Nolte en la foto.

O. J. SIMPSON

Lo de este tío clama al cielo… Después de librarse de la cárcel (que no de pagar una indemnización de 33,5 millones de dólares por daños y perjuicios) tras los asesinatos, en 1994, de su ex mujer Nicole Brown Simpson y el amigo de ésta Ronald Goldman, Simpson fue detenido por el presunto robo de una colección de objetos deportivos en un casino de Las Vegas. Al colega se le acusaba, entre otras lindezas, de robo con arma de fuego, asalto con arma de fuego, conspiración para cometer un hurto y hurto con un arma de fuego.

RANDY QUAID

¿Recordáis a aquel aviador borracho que se convierte en un héroe en los minutos finales de la película ”Independence Day” (1996)? Pues se trata del actor estadounidense Randy Quaid, hemano del también actor Dennis Quaid.

Randy y su esposa Evi fueron detenidos el pasado mes de septiembre de 2009 acusados de estafa por no haber pagado la cuenta de un hotel de Santa Barbara que ascendía a 10.000 dólares. Después de  abonar la fianza, fueron puestos en libertad.

RIP TORN

¿Que quién es este tío con esta pinta tan horrible? Para que os situéis rápidamente Rip Torn es el actor que interpretó a Z en la película “Men in Black” (1997) y en su secuela “Men in Black 2″ (2002). Aquí el amigo fue detenido en 2004 por conducir borracho y volvió a pasar por la comisaría en 2006 tras protagonizar un accidente con su automóvil. Al negarse a someterse a la prueba de alcoholemia, se le acusó de ir ebrio.

RYAN O’NEAL

Durante una investigación que tenía como objetivo a Redmond O’Neal (hijo de Ryan y Farrah Fawcett), la policía registró la casa del actor encontrando metanfetamina. Ambos fueron arrestados por posesión de drogas.

ROBERT DOWNEY JR.

Desde finales de la década de los 80, el actor sucumbió a las drogas y al alcohol. Ya en 1980 asistió por primera vez a un centro de rehabilitación que abandonó al poco tiempo sin obtener ningún resultado.

En 1996 fue arrestado en Los Ángeles por exceso de velocidad; por posesión de marihuana, cocaína, heroína y crack; y por encontrársele una pistola descargada. Fue puesto en libertad condicional tras pagar una fianza, pero antes de ser citado a juicio por esos cargos, fue nuevamente detenido, al entrar por error en casa de su vecina. Había consumido tanto alcohol y droga, que necesitó de asistencia sanitaria para recobrar el conocimiento.

Fue enviado a un centro de rehabilitación mientras estaba a la espera de juicio, pero tan solo cuatro días después, fue detenido por los agentes de seguridad del lugar unas horas después de fugarse.

En 2000 fue arrestado nuevamente por fumar crack y beber alcohol y en 2001 por vagar por las calles bajo los efectos de varios narcóticos.

Parece ser que desde 2002 Downey Jr. ha logrado mantenerse “limpio” y alejado de las cárceles.

RUSSELL CROWE

El actor australiano no se caracteriza precisamente por su paciencia. En 2005 fue arrestado en un hotel de Nueva York después de lanzarle un teléfono a un conserje. Parece ser que Crowe se puso nervioso porque no podía comunicarse con su mujer en Australia.

SAM SHEPARD

El actor (“París, Texas”; “Magnolias de acero”; “El informe pelícano”; ”Black Hawk derribado”; entre otras) y dramaturgo fue detenido por conducir borracho y por exceso de velocidad. Shepard fue puesto en libertad tras pagar una multa de 600 dólares y las costas del juicio y prometer que no volvería a reincidir.

SHIA LaBEOUF

LaBeouf fue detenido por conducir borracho después de chocar contra otro vehículo. A causa de este accidente se retrasó el rodaje de “Transformers 2” (2009).

STEVE McQUEEN

El inolvidable actor de “Los siete magníficos” (1960), “La gran evasión” (1963), “Bullitt” (1968), “La huida” (1972), “Papillon” (1973) o “El coloso en llamas” (1974)  fue detenido en 1972 por conducir ebrio. No se puede negar que a Steve se le ve la mar de “contento”…

TIM ALLEN

Antes de iniciar su carrera cinematográfica, Tim Allen fue arrestado en 1978 en el aeropuerto de Kalamazoo (Michigan) acusado de vender de drogas y en 1979 por posesión. Volvió a ser detenido en 1997 por conducir borracho y por exceso de velocidad.

VINCE VAUGHN

En 2001 Vaughn fue arrestado por participar en una pelea multitudinaria a la salida de un bar.

WESLEY SNIPES

En 2006 Wesley Snipes fue detenido en el aeropuesto de Orlando por evasión de impuestos. Parece ser que el actor le debía al fisco unos míseros 12 millones de dólares…

WINONA RYDER

La cleptómana actriz también ha caído en las redes de la policía por robar en unos grandes almacenes. En la foto podemos observar a Winona durante el juicio en la que fue procesada.

WOODY HARRELSON

En 1982 el actor fue arrestado por desorden público. Parece ser que a Harrelson le dio por pegarse unos bailoteos en medio de la calle entorpeciendo el tráfico. No sólo se resistió a la detención, sino que incluso se escapó del coche de policía que le trasladaba a la comisaría.

YASMINE BLEETH

La actriz Yasmine Bleeth, conocida por participar en la serie televisiva ”Los Vigilantes de la Playa”, fue detenida en 2001 por posesión de cocaína. Tras declararse culpable, se la sentenció a dos años de libertad condicional y a 100 horas de servicios comunitarios.

ZSA ZSA GABOR

En 1989 la actriz fue detenida no sólo por conducir su coche con el carnet de conducir caducado, sino por soltarle una bofetada al agente que le había dado el alto. Curiosamente la Gabor también pasó por la comisaría cuando en Palma de Mallorca se marchó de un local sin pagar la cuenta.

She was actually 14 at the time of the audition and after receiving the part, she was able to continue in the role despite having misled the directors. She had been considered the best fit for the character and was thought to have been creative in her way of gaining the audition despite her age. Kunis has stated many times that she is nothing like Jackie, her character on the show. She has been nominated seven times for a Teen Choice Award for playing Jackie, but never won.

Personal life

Kunis has been dating actor Macaulay Culkin since 2002. Although there have been rumors of the couple getting married, Kunis has denied this several times:I’ve been engaged. I think I’ve already been married. And I’m sure I have a child somewhere. I’m waiting to have something else happen. No, I’m not married. And no, I’m not engaged. And no, I do not have a child.
