I just saw this Video of Obama and Clinton again,  and was thinking if this was the reason they are off the Airwaves?? MAD TV was one of the Funniest Shows Ever on TV. Made Saturday Night Live Look like SHIT!!! At least the Saturday Night Live of the Last Few Years!!!!

Ich arbeite bekanntlich als Fotografin bei der Internetcommunity Mad-Tv. Manchmal erlebt man dabei lustige Sachen. Oft mit den Models, gelegentlich auch mit der Konkurrenz.

Letztens war Ich im del Mare und wurde von einem Fotografen von Nitestar angesprochen:

Ich bin abgehauen. Wer seine Kamera nicht bedienen kann soll sie verkaufen oder es erst lernen und dann Bilder machen wollen. Fand das reichlich unhöfflich und unprofesionell. (Hab mir letztens ein paar Bilder von dem angsehen. Herrausgefunden hat er die Bedienung wohl noch nicht)

So I finally have a day off. It seems it’s been forever in waiting. I guess working 5 days a week straight after working a 6 day week shift it’s always nice. I was catching up on my saturday morning cartoons and come to find out that something I’m going to want to watch is next saturday. So it’s kinda like ah crap I got the wrong Saturday off. Meh it happens. Luckily yesterday was a pretty busy day. Squiby also started working later on then again died. I swear they need a better server. So today I’m probably just going to do nothing. I do need to go and get my Arceus from Toy’s R’ Us either today or tomorrow. Oh and in case y’all didn’t know yesterday was Friday the 13th. Yeah bet no one noticed because IT’S NOT ACTUALLY A BAD LUCK DAY. Well squiby time. Today’s video is Virginal which is a spoof of a Christina Aguilera song. Don’t ask me which one. I never really cared for her music after a point. This was the point when I stopped following her music. Anyway Mad TV did a spoof and here is the result. Today’s tip is sometimes all it takes to be a good friend is be there and listen.

Erica Ash was the very first actor to ever perform in the Manhattan Monologue Slam “:30 Slam” and is a season 14 cast member of MadTV. Erica Ash was raised internationally as a child of military parents and calls Atlanta, Georgia her home. She started her career in Tokyo, Japan when she “fell into” a gig as a back up singer to a Japanese artist. Erica spent three years there modeling, singing and dancing before moving to New York to get her feet wet as an actor. She loves to travel and has lived in Germany, England, Japan and all over North America. Erica recently starred as Nala in the touring company for Disney’s “The Lion King”. Always in love with performance and laughter, her love of stage comedy brought her to “The Big Gay Sketch Show” and “MadTV”.

Manhattan Monologue Slam Los Angeles Champion Daheli Hall, one of four new cast members to be added during Season 13 of “MADtv,” brings with her an already impressive resume. Daheli is a Manhattan Monologue Slam LA Champion and has earned both a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Producing for Film and TV from the University of Southern California. Even though Daheli’s body of work is rather small thus far–a couple of short films, a documentary, and a one-woman standup comedy show–her creative abilities are far-reaching. In her brief career, Daheli has quickly established herself as an actor, comic, writer, director, and producer. Judging by these already impressive entertainment credentials, one can easily see why “MADtv” is so eager to have Daheli onboard.

A little bit about MO Pleasure

Known affectionately as Mo Pleasure, this renowned multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer, began playing acoustic piano at the age of four and by his early teens already mastered several instruments including bass, trumpet, guitar, drums and violin.

Upon receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from University of Connecticut, Mo began his professional music career playing bass with Ray Charles. He then began working as a session musician, backing some of the most accomplished talents in Jazz and R&B including George Duke, Natalie Cole, Dianne Reeves, Jonathan Butler, Rachelle Ferrell, Michael McDonald, Oleta Adams, Roberta Flack, Marcus Miller and Frankie Beverly and Maze, to name a few.

From 1989 through 1992, Mo was both keyboardist and musical director with saxophonist Najee, pianist Alex Bugnon, and vocalists Philip Bailey, Patti Austin and Jon Lucien. In 1993, he became a member of the legendary group Earth, Wind & Fire, and ascended to become the band’s musical director in 1994. Mo was featured playing keyboards, trumpet and guitar with Janet Jackson’s 2001 “All For You” tour and played keyboards and trumpet with Boney James’ 2004 “Pure” tour. As a principal member of the group Devoted Spirits, Mo was featured playing keyboards for Jimi Hendrix’s 60th Birthday Celebration and the 2004 “Power of Soul: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix” tour. Mo most recently toured with Roberta Flack and Rachelle Ferrell.

In addition to performing at worldwide jazz festivals including Montreux, North Sea, St. Lucia, Cancun, and Montreal, Mo has been a featured concert pianist, performing Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra and for the Boston Ballet.

There are many Television and Video performances to Mo’s credit, including Ray Charles BBC Special, Mad TV, BET on Jazz, VH1, The Tonight Show, Earth, Wind & Fire documentary Shining Stars and HBO Special – Janet Jackson in Hawaii. His movie soundtrack credits include Talkin’ featured in the Disney movie “Three Men and a Little Lady” and the EWF single “Cruisin,” featured in Spike Lee’s “Get On The Bus.”

Two of Mo’s CDs were released independently in Spring 2005. Devoted Spirits’ “Tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire” and Audio Caviar “Transoceanic.” Audio Caviar is a collaboration featuring Mo on piano, bass, trumpet and flugelhorn, Ralph Johnson on drums and Denmark guitarist Steen Kyed.

Mo’s first offering as a solo artist, Elements of Pleasure, was released in 2006. The release earned him a devoted worldwide following and established him as a producer and multi-instrumentalist with singular talent. Scheduled for release in late 2008, Mo’s second solo effort, Mo’Elements of Pleasure, expands upon his first project. The lyrical movement of the piano, the soulful sounds of the trumpet and flugelhorn and the funky rhythm of the bass are the elements that touch the heart, mind and soul. The music is a combined collaboration of instrumental funk and soulful vocals, reminiscent of his many musical influences. Demonstrating the respect and cache he has garnered in his illustrious career, the album is chockfull of special guests including Tony Terry, Maysa, Ali Woodson, Philip Bailey, Maxayn and Bobby Ricketts.

Ein armerikanischer Brauch, der langsam rübergeschwappt ist zu uns. Ich bin ehrlich: so toll finde Ich das garnicht. Wenn Kinder bei mir Klingeln (sollten) um “Trick or Sweet” (“Süßes, sonst gibts Saures”) zu rufen,  geh Ich nicht hin. Sollte ich ausversehen doch an die Tür gehen, gibt es nichts. Wer Süßigkeiten haben will soll an Martini klingeln und nur verkleidet rumlaufen und betteln reicht auch nicht. Wenn dann mit Lied!

Aber zurück zum Thema. Worauf Ich eigentlich hinaus wollte: im Galaxy war Helloweenparty. Eine der wenigen Gelegenheiten bei denne Ich fremde Bräuche toll finde.

Ich war mit meinen Mädels da und es war schön Am liebsten Mag Ich an dieser Disco die Details bei der Gestaltung der Mottoparty. Aber seht selbst:

Project Runway is a television show on Bravo that gives the opportunity for a designer to showcase his or her work and compete against other designers to win big and possibly make it in the fashion world. To be competitive, the designer must come up with a unique piece to bring forward to the judges and based on what the judges say, a winner is determined. MAD tv is known for making fun of alot of things, including fashion, specifically project runway. In this parody, they make it seem like because a guy in a designer and if he knows alot about fashion as a whole, he must be gay, which I do not think is always true.  They also made fun of the judges and kind of portrays fashion as such a haughty atmosphere, in such a way that sometimes people ask themselves ”what do they know about fashion?”
