Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he has documented evidence that the United States is doing what it can to prevent the coming of the Mahdi, the Imam that Muslims believe will be ultimate savior of mankind, press reports said Monday.

“We have documented proof that they [U.S.] believe that a descendant of the prophet of Islam will raise in these parts [Middle East] and he will dry the roots of all injustice in the world,” the hard-line president said, addressing an audience of families of those killed during the 1980’s war against Iraq.

Iranian news website Tabnak said Ahmadinejad further revealed plots by both the East and the West to wipe out the Islamic Republic.

“They have planned to annihilate Iran. This is why all policymakers and analysts believe Iran is the true winner in the Middle East,” he went on to proclaim, adding that they were after Iranian oil and other natural resources.

“In Afghanistan, they are caught like an animal in a quagmire. But instead of pulling their troops out to save themselves, they are deploying more soldiers. Even if they stay in Afghanistan for another 50 years they will be forced to leave with disgrace — because this is a historical experience.”

The president said on his last visit to New York he asked officials “Is there not one sane person in your country to tell you these things?”

“They know themselves that they need Iran in the Middle East, but because of their arrogance they do not want to accept this reality. They are nothing without the Iranian nation and all their rhetoric is because they don’t want to appear weak,” he added.

Referring to his disputed June reelection, Ahmadinejad said, “The enemy… was hyping the issue as if the Iranian nation has been weakened and as if this was the best opportunity to get concessions from them. But your humble son stood in front of the oppressive powers and shouted: You are dead wrong! The Iranian nation will put you in your place.”

“In the recent [post-election] incident, they claimed that they had devised a plan that could bring hundreds of governments to their knees,” he continued. “But he who is on the righteous path will always be victorious and will never see defeat.”

The June 12 presidential election sparked Iran’s worst unrest since the Islamic revolution three decades ago and exposed deep divisions in the establishment. Authorities have denied all allegations of vote-rigging.

On Monday Iran commemorates the killing of three students in 1953 under the former Shah. The opposition is expected to try to use the state-organized rallies to revive opposition protests.

Master’s of Slavery

I wish we all can understand the links in the chain of Slavery that resulted from this new and last democracy in America , or post 911 system of justice in which the security of slave is in the hand of three groups, Jewish, Hindu and Christian to control minority slave movements and trade, which is neither well studied nor philosophically based on our forefather system of liberty Abraham PBUH.

It was exciting to be informed by a good source that there has been a great growth of Christianity inside the iron walls of Iran. At a meeting last night we heard that Iran is falling apart from the inside out, much like Rome in the early centuries.The people of Iran are becoming very disillusioned with their government (Ahmadinejad by most accounts did not win in the ballots but by authority, specifically because the “spiritual leader” Ayatollah Khameni wanted him to be “President”) and now especially with Islam. Many, many Iranians are “on the fence” about their faith–they can’t understand how such blatant crime and sin can be done by those in power and in the name of Allah. So they either become Radical Muslims, or they hear of the Gospel and find God.

The Recent Election

Ever since the 700’s AD countries like Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, etc. have been overrun by the conquest (not bloodless by any means!) of Muhammad. In 1979 the first Ayatollah (Khomeini) put out the king and set up Iran as a Islamic State. So as you can see, and as you likely know, Islam is a religion by force, not by choice (for the vast, vast majority). There are almost 1.6 billion Muslims in the world today, but most of them are very dissatisfied with Islam. For over a millennium the people of the Middle East have not heard anything but “There is only one god and Muhammad is his prophet”. They were slaves to those in power, and Islam was the opium to keep the people down. It still is.

But freedom is coming to Iran! In the last 20 years it is estimated that the church has grown to several hundred thousand Christians in Iran (but the persecution is heavy). Obviously Christianity is illegal in Iran, so are missionaries, and so is a lot of Western Society.

A great group working over there is the “Voice of Christ Media Ministries” and they are sharing the truth with any and all Iranians. They have a short (AM) and long wave (FM) radio going out into Iran and an unprecedented number of people are tuning in to the Gospel. Emails and phone calls are coming in and the word is being spread–true Christianity answers life’s problems!

But Iran is doing everything it can to limit the Gospel–Satellite radio is illegal (but everyone has one!) and the internet is severely blocked off from anything Christian.

There has been a certain website that has been so influential in Iran that it was cut off and blocked. It streams radio 24 hours/ 365 days a week with a Christian talk show, messages, and Christian music. It is called Radio Mojdeh (connected with “Voice of Christ Media Ministries). You won’t be able to understand any of it though because it is all in Farsi (Persian Language).

Please pray that this website would be opened again to the people of Iran–they deserve the right to know and to choose the course of their destiny for themselves.

Iran's Ahmadinejad and Bolivia's Evo Morales

Close to home for me is the fact that my home country Bolivia and Iran have created some strong ties. Iranians can now enter Bolivia without a visa, and vice versa. My president is playing with fire and he is clueless. Ahmadinejad’s beliefs are that a Messiah is coming (Mahdi) is bring Islam to the whole world by force and violence. Thus his main goals are to “pave the way” for him by destroying Israel and USA. (Sounds like the John the Baptist and the Messiah, they aren’t very creative). Supposedly this Messiah will come in the next few years (he’s been awaited for over 1000 years now)–Muhammad was never any good at prophesying (unlike Christ), so I wouldn’t trust those who believe in Mahdi either. Interestingly when Mahdi appears (which he will not) Christ will come with him in the clouds, like in the Rapture, and honor Mahdi as greater than himself. Obviously Muhammad knew his Bible well, but he used it for his personal gain and glory.

Just some things to keep in mind and to pray about. The world is coming to an end and the battle is getting hotter–pray that the Gospel will be spread while there is still time.

We could not see any unnatural in artificial elements. They are part of the nature but very unstable, very short living compared to other elements. Anti-matter is another artificially made phenomenon of science. In this form nature of atoms are antagonist with the material elements of our world. Every electrical charge of antimatter is contradicting ours. Our electrons have negative charges, theirs have positive charge. If these two meet each other they annihilate and burn each other to pure energy without anything remain out of them. There remains no charge or matter to be confined at a point. It becomes all something like heat of an oven dissipating. The proton of our world is a positive charge, the protons of antimatter have negative charges. Again these two are antagonist and cannot live together. They annihilate each other if they meet. For those things that have not any charge, like neutrons also there exist some antimatter neutron. If they meet there will be annihilation too. They are like to tops one turns clockwise the other turns the other way. If they meet each other they cannot decide which way they should turn so better to dissipate than not to turn. We can imagine a world that every bit is made out of the antimatter and has not any contact with our material world. In that world also everything is natural and smooth moving and we have a table of eighty ninety elements and there is nothing surprising for its intelligent inhabitants or for humans. Only that we cannot find a way to their world and they cannot find one to ours. Except that in each world advanced scientists can artificially made few atoms of the anti-matter, of the anti-world for demonstration of such a possibility. Those anti-atoms can live for fraction of seconds before meeting the material body of our world and burn into the annihilation. These anti-atoms are natural regularity of their own world.

These ideas help me to give insights to accepting what you might consider as impossible, or improbable. It is known that all the world, all the living and non-living things are made out of some 85 chemical elements. These elements have been discovered, separated and studied by humans and by some law of nature are arranged in a table, periodic table of elements. By those laws, few places in the table had been left empty without humans know any element in the nature to put in those places and no reasonable attempt of scientists could conclude to their discovery until scientists became convinced that due to known rules of nature those places will be left empty forever. The elements that should occupy those places were too unstable and had been decayed hastily to other elements just after they had been forged in the furnace of nature. Thus never got the opportunity to wait for the creation of life and intelligent life to discover them. But from the middle of twentieth century, scientists could imitate that process of forging elements and artificially created them. Though normally they exist with their elemental identities for a short time and quickly decay to more stable elements nevertheless chemists could study their chemical behaviour and became certain that they are the same elements that should put in the empty boxes of the table. Besides these empty places there were places beyond the last discovered elements of nature. Scientists further advanced to create artificial elements for these extra places until the point that it seems impossible or very difficult at present time to go further. These attempts have resulted to have a table of one hundred and eighteen elements of naturally occurring (eighty eight)and artificially made elements (thirty) all together at present time. Some of these elements came to be so useful that factories are built to produce them in tons and being used as commodities of commerce. We should consider that even the artificial elements are natural but their short lives prohibited them to come in human hands after billions years that has passed from the creation of elements. There is nothing surprising or unusual in terms of nature for them more than what we know regarding the natural elements. They are all at their right places as dictated by the law of nature. This was for artificial elements. Next we get to topic of “Anti-matter.”

Human faith can relay lead to the goal of grasping an objective reality by mean of knowledge and experiences once confused democracy is ready to give up material pleasure for mental health. The world problem that preoccupies people thoughts today is hate and fear each other which is deeply rooted in the distant time of human history. It has driven your forefathers into a long and nonsense struggle in the ideological and political fields and in the religious and culture barriers without investigating true human nature. Thus March 2008 came and gone and the crusade of crucifying is continues. Knowledge is the key to establish system of life, universe and the nature by debating or denying it for best democracy. The state of denial that is contributing pain in the chain of humanity is whenever some one tries to show whiteness of nature is not white enough to prove it.

The system of killing innocent human being for piece of land is not philosophically based on Abraham’s monotheistic faith. The only hope that is keeping saint human faith alive is the sound of ghunagroo from the angles of life who are sanding gust of smiles on innocent children. The battle will continue with no weapons other then our personal power with only one purpose that one day we will understand the reason of stars and time clock of eclipses.

We believe that one day God (Rab) will bless love of humanity to those who are unconscious of crucifixion of life in the name of war and terror on poor helpless people. The festival of life can be celebrated with wisdom of human faith knowledge once we realize that we are part of human family. Obama ‘Reaches Out’ by Naming ‘Devout’ Muslims to Security Posts

(IsraelNN.com) U.S. President Barack Obama continues to “reach out to Muslims” by appointing them to key security posts amid charges he wrongly ignored internal Muslim terror. One recent appointee was harshly criticized for appearing on a British-based television station whose host is a member of a radical Muslim group.

His “reaching out Muslims” speech in Cairo last June has been followed by action, the latest being this past week’s swearing-in of a Muslim rights advocate to the Homeland Security Advisory Council, shortly after the Fort Hood massacre. HSAC members are involved in expertise on national security.

The new member is Syrian-born Kareem Shora, who was the national executive director of the Arab-American Anti-Discrimination (ADC), which previously has called on the United States to stop providing Israel with weapons because of alleged “atrocities” against Arabs. Her background for her new security post is having been a legal counsel and advocate for Muslim civil rights.

She also has been a frequent guest on the pro-Hamas al-Jazeera satellite network.

Shora, who has been described as a “devout Muslim, joins another devout member of the faith, Arif Alikhan, who was appointed as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development in the Department of Homeland Security. His qualifications for the job were listed as having been in charge of public safety in Los Angeles during his term of deputy mayor. One of his actions was to remove the plan that tracked Muslims in the city who were suspected of terrorist activities.

Americans have been jolted by several lethal attacks and confrontations with Muslims over the past year, including a plot to attack synagogues and down U.S. military aircraft, the manufacture of bombs, an alleged attempt to explode a Texas skyscraper, a plot to blow up malls in Boston, and last month’s Fort Hood massacre by a Muslim psychiatrist who was an officer in the army.

A desire to avoid the appearance of labeling all Muslims as terrorists lunged out from the shadows last month after President Obama faced criticism for not taking seriously the threat of Muslim terrorism within American society as well as in the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Several months ago, President Obama appointed Dalia Mogahed, a “devout Muslim,” to his Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. She quickly came under fire for appearing in a telephone interview on a London-based Muslim television station, whose host is a member of an extreme Islamic group.

She said was unaware of the affiliations of her host, whose program included questions and comments favoring the implementation of Islamic Law (“sharia”).

Mogahed explained that she did not hang up the phone in the middle of the interview because “I assumed that very few people would watch this show but that doing something more dramatic would bring more attention.”

In the current issue of Newsweek, columnist Jacob Weisberg, citing former Secretary of State Colin Powell, wrote that “Obama’s [Muslim] heritage feeds a broader suspicion that he is too casual about the threat from America’s Islamist enemies.”

The journalist added, “With the massacre in Texas, Obama now confronts something that George W. Bush did not face in the years after September 11—not just a major act of domestic terrorism, but one struck from inside our security apparatus…. America does not face a threat from the perversion of faith in general. We face a threat from the perversion of one faith in particular.”

May we all take heed to this warning while we still have the chance, because a time is coming when we will not.

Banyak orang tidak ingin memperjuangkan tegaknya khilafah dikarenakan Imam Mahdi belum turun. Sementara banyak orang yang dengan semangat memperjuangkan tegaknya Khilafah tanpa menunggu Imam Mahdi turun.

Apa dan bagaimana Imam Mahdi itu, dan apa hubungannya dengan khilafah, serta bagaimana selayaknya kaum muslim harus bersikap ?

Tulisan ini akan membahas tentang keterkaitan antara Imam Mahdi dan khilafah, semoga bermanfaat.

Mahdiy, secara bahasa adalah orang yang mendapat petunjuk kepada jalan yang benar. Kata mahdiy banyak dinyatakan di dalam hadits, diantaranya hadits al-’Irbadh ibn Sariyah “… wa as-sunnah al-khulafâ’ ar-râsyidîn al-mahdiyîn”. Ibn al-Atsir berkomentar : yang dimaksud adalah khalifah yang empat, meski kata itu bersifat umum mencakup siapa saja yang berjalan sebagaimana jalan mereka. Imam Mahdiy yang dimaksud di sini adalah imam/khalifah yang diberitakan oleh Rasul saw akan datang di akhir zaman, yang menegakkan agama, menampakkan keadilan, mempersatukan kaum muslim, berasal dari ahlu bait Rasul, dan datang pada masa Isa as di turunkan lagi, …

Berita tentang imam mahdi dinyatakan didalam lebih dari 50 hadits

Diriwayatkan oleh setidaknya 26 sahabat yaitu: Ali ibn Abiy Thalib, Hafshah, Ummu Salamah, Abu Hurairah, Abu Sa’id al-Khudzri, Ibn Mas’ud, Tsawban, Jabir ibn Abdullah, Abdurrahman ibn Awf, Aisyah, Hudzaifah ibn al-Yaman, Ibn Abbas, Abu Ayub al-Anshari, Ibn Umar, Imran bin al-Hushain, Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Ka’ab al-Akhbar, Hudzaifah ibn Usaid al-Ghifari, Abdullah ibn Amru ibn al-Ash, Anas ibn Malik, Ammar ibn Yasir, Ubadah bin ash-Shamit, Awf ibn Malik, Syahr ibn Khawsyab, Mu’adz ibn Jabal, al-Hasan, Thalhah, Ummu Habibah, Qurrah ibn Qays, Ali al-Hilali, Abdullah ibn al-Harits ibn Hamzah, Abu Thufail, JAbir ash-Shadafi.
Dikeluarkan oleh lebih dari 36 orang imam. Hadis-hadis tersebut menggunakan lafazh dan rincian yang berbeda-beda. Dimana semuanya menyatakan makna bahwa imam mahdi akan datang di akhir zaman.
Karenanya para ulama menilai makna akan datangnya imam mahdi telah diriwayatkan secara tawatur = hadits tentang imam mahdi mutawatir bil makna.
Ulama yang mengatakan bahwa hadits imam mahdi adalah bersifat mutawatir bil makna adalah :

• al-Hafizh Abu al-Hasan al-Abari
• Imam Ibn Taymiyah
• Al-Hafizh Ibn Katsir
• Alamah Muhammad as-Safarayini
• Alamah Muhammad al-Barzanji
• Alamah Muhammad Shadiq Khan ibn Hasan al-Qinuji
• Imam asy-Syawkani
• Alamah Muhammad Ja’far al-Katani
• Alamah Abu Thayyib Syamsul Haq al-Abadi

Kriteria Imam Mahdi

Bagaimana kriteria imam mahdi itu ? Rasulullah saw pernah bersabda :

“Andai tidak tersisa dari dunia kecuali satu hari pasti Allah akan memanjangkan hari itu hingga Ia mengutus di dalamnya seorang laki-laki dariku atau dari keturunanku, namanya sama dengan namaku dan nama bapaknya sama dengan bapakku, ia akan memenuhi bumi dengan keadilan sebagaimana sebelumnya telah dipenuhi kezaliman dan kekejian
(HR. Abu Dawud, Tirmidzi dan yang lain)“

Dalam hadits lain disebutkan :

“Al-Mahdi berasal dari keturunanku, dari keturunan Fathimah
(HR. Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, al-Hakim)“

Kedua hadits ini telah menyatakan bahwa Imam Mahdi yang akan datang nanti bukanlah bernama Mahdi, melainkan bernama Muhammad bin Abdullah yang merupakan masih keturunan Rasulullah dari Fathimah. Bahkan Ibn Katsir berkata :

”Imam Mahdi adalah Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-’Alawi al-Fathimi al-Hasani”

Hadits Rasulullah saw

“Al-Mahdi itu dari keturunanku, berdahi lebar, berhidung mancung dan bengkok (lancip ujungnya), ia memenuhi bumi dengan keadilan sebagaimana sebelumnya dipenuhi oleh kekejian dan kezaliman. Ia memerintah selama tujuh tahun”
(HR. Abu Dawud, Ahmad, al-Hakim dan yang lain)

Nanti akan ada tiga orang yang semuanya adalah anak khalifah, mereka berperang di sekitar ka’bah kemudian tidak juga menjadi berada di setu orang dari mereka, kemudian muncul dari timur panji hitam maka mereka memerangi kalian yang tidak pernah dilakukan kaum itu kemudian Beliau meyebutkan sesuatu tapi aku tidak ingat. Lalu Nabi bersabda :

“jika kalian melihatnya maka baiatlah ia meski diatas salju sesungguhnya ia adalah Khalifah Allah al-Mahdi”
(HR. Tirmidzi)

Dari gambaran beberapa hadits, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa nama dari imam mahdi tersebut adalah Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-’Alawi al-Fathimi al-Hasani. Dimana akhlak dan budi pekertinay mirip dengan Rasul tetapi raut mukanya tidak mirip. Imam mahdi memiliki ciri-ciri fisiknya seperti dahinya lebar dan hidungnya sangat mancung. Yang pada saatnya nanti dia akan dibaiat di antara Hajar Aswad dan Maqam Ibrahim yang didukung oleh orang-orang dari timur.

Imam mahdi memiliki panji hitam seperti panji Rasul yaitu al-’Uqab dan memenuhi bumi dengan keadilan dan kejujuran, yang sebelumnya bumi dipenuhi kezaliman dan kelaliman. Disamping itu dia akan mengokohkan agama menegakkan sunnah, mempersatukan kaum muslim. Yang pada masanya dihiasi dengan kemakmuran dan harta sangat berlimpah. Dan pada masanya juga Isa a.s diturunkan dan shalat dibelakang al-Mahdi, yang setelah itu bersama memerangi Dajjal. Imam mahdi ini yang nanti akan memerintah kaum muslimin (khalifah) selama 7 – 9 tahun.

Hubungan Imam Mahdi dan Khilafah

Dalam penjelasan hadits-hadits di atas, menyatakan bahwa Imam Mahdi adalah seorang Khalifah yang sebelumnya sudah ada Khilafah namun dihiasi kezaliman dan kelaliman. Jadi Khilafah pasti tegak bahkan sebelum turunnya imam mahdi.

Semua hadis tentang al-Mahdi merupakan hadis berita, tidak mengandung perintah (kecuali perintah untuk membaiatnya). Karena semuanya adalah berita maka yang dituntut adalah pembenaran terhadap berita, bukan perintah untuk mengadakannya. Datangnya Imam Mahdi, turunnya Isa as, keluarnya Dajal, dsb, makna ini diriwayatkan secara tawatur, jadi hadis-hadis tersebut adalah dalil tentang akidah (iman). Dengan demikian yang dituntut bagi setiap kaum muslimin adalah iman.

Hal ini berbeda dengan perintah untuk menegakkan khilafah, dimana hadits tentang penegakkan khilafah bukan merupakan hadits berita, melainkan perintah.

Seperti hadits Rasulullah saw :

“Siapa saja yang mati sementara di pundaknya tidak ada baiat maka ia mati seperti kematian jahiliyah”
(HR. Muslim)

Rasul memerintahkan untuk meneladani sunah khulafur rasyidin

“Aku wasiyatkan kepada kalian hendaklah selalu bertakwa kepada Allah, mendengar dan mentaati (pemimpin) sekalipun ia seorang budak habsyi, karena sungguh siapapun dari kalian yang berumur panjang sesudahku akan melihat perselisihan yang banyak. Oleh karena itu kalian wajib berpegang kepada jalan/jejak langkahku dan jalan/jejak langkah Khulafaur Rasyidin yang mendapat petunjuk. Berpegang teguhlah kepadanya dan gigitlah itu erat-erat dengan gigi geraham. Dan jauhilah perkara yang diada-adakan karena setiap perkara yang diada-adakan adalah bid’ah dan setiap bid’ah adalah kesesatan.”
(HR. Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah dan Tirmidzi )

Sementara para sahabat berijmak tentang wajibnya mengangkat kepala Negara, kewajiban itu bahkan lebih diutamakan dari kewajiban mengebumikan jenazah Rasulullah saw. Semua sahabat sepakat proses di Saqifah Bani Sa’idah dan tidak mengingkarinya padahal mereka mampu untuk mengingkarinya jika salah. Semua sahabat sepakat menunda pengebumian jenazah Rasul saw. Kerabat Rasul juga ikut menunda, padahal mereka mampu melakukannya.
Para sahabat mengangkat Abu Bakar sebagai pengganti Rasul melalui baiat in’iqad di Saqifah Bani Sa’idah dan dilanjutkan baiat tha’at secara umum di masjid Nabawi. Yang kemudian kepala negara Daulah Islam digelari Khalifah atau Amirul Mukminin dan sistemnya adalah Khilafah Islamiyah.

Jelaslah bahwa nash-nash tentang akan datangnya imam mahdi merupakan nash tentang akidah yaitu berkaitan dengan keimanan. Kita diwajibkan hanya sekedar mengimani berita saja. Sementara nash-nash tentang tegaknya khilafah merupakan nash perbuatan hamba, sehingga yang dituntut adalah perbuatan. Kita diwajibkan untuk memperjuangkan tegaknya khilafah islamiyah.

Dalam kitab “Masâil Fiqhiyyah Mukhtârah”, cetakan kedua (2008), karya Syaikh Abu Iyas Mahmud Abdul Lathif bin Mahmud (Uwaidhah), terdapat jawaban atas pertanyaan seputar Imam Mahdi dan aktivitas untuk menegakkan Khilafah. Mengingat pentingnya masalah ini, maka tulisan ini kami persembahkan kepada para pengunjung situs agar semua dapat mengambil faedah darinya, in sya’ Allah, jika Allah SWT berkehendak.

Pertanyaannya:
Tidak sedikit di antara kaum Muslim—khususnya mereka yang masih kental dengan kehidupan beragama—yang menyakini bahwa Khilafah akan kembali tegak. Dan Khilafah yang akan tegak kembali itu adalah Khilafah ‘ala minhaji an-nubuwah, Khilafah yang sesuai dengan metode kenabian, yang mereka maksudkan dengan itu adalah Khilafah Rasyidah. Namun, aku tidak melihat mereka itu melakukan aktivitas untuk menegakkan Khilafah ini. Apabila mereka ditanya tentang alasan mengapa mereka berdiam diri (tidak melakukan) aktivitas menegakkan Khilafah, maka mereka menjawab bahwa Imam Mahdi-lah kelak yang akan menegakkannya. Dan sebelum datangnya Imam Mahdi, Khilafah tidak akan pernah tegak. Oleh karena itu, tidak perlu menyeru mereka untuk beraktivitas menegakkan Khilafah. Sehingga, pertanyaannya: Apakah Khilafah akan tegak secara nyata; dan apakah Imam Mahdi yang akan menegakkannya?

Jawab:
Sesungguhnya pernyataan bahwa Khilafah akan tegak adalah pernyataan yang benar, yang ditunjukkan oleh banyak sekali hadits dari Nabi SAW, dan hadits-hadits itu semuanya shahih atau hasan. Mengingat, hadits-hadits itu tidak ada yang mutawatir, maka masalah ini tidak boleh dijadikan sebagai sebuah keyakinan. Sehingga, pernyataan bahwa kaum Muslim meyakini bahwa Khilafah akan tegak adalah pernyataan yang tidak benar. Sebab, keyakinan itu harus dibangun berdasarkan ayat Al-Qur’an atau hadits mutawatir. Sementara berdirinya Khilafah terdapat dalam hadits-hadits shahih dan hasan, bukan hadits mutawatir. Sehingga, tidak boleh menjadikan berdirinya kembali Khilafah sebagai sebuah keyakinan. Namun, kami membenarkan akan berdirinya kembali Khilafah dengan pembenaran yang tidak pasti; kami katakan bahwa Khilafah akan tegak kembali dengan izin Allah. Berikut ini hadits-hadits terkait masalah tersebut:

• Pertama

Dari Sauban radhiyallahu ‘anhu berkata: Bersabda Rasulullah SAW:

“Sesungguhnya Allah telah mengumpulkan (memperlihatkan) bumi kepadaku. Sehingga, aku melihat bumi mulai dari ujung Timur hingga ujung Barat. Dan umatku, kekuasaannya akan meliputi bumi yang telah dikumpulkan (diperlihatkan) kepadaku….”
(HR. Muslim, Ahmad, Abu Dawud, dan Tirmidzi)

Sabda beliau,
“umatku, kekuasaannya akan meliputi bumi yang telah dikumpulkan (diperlihatkan) kepadaku” belum terrealisasikan hingga sekarang. Sebab, kaum Muslim belum pernah menguasai bumi mulai ujung Timur hingga ujung Barat hingga sekarang. Dan ini akan terjadi di masa yang akan datang. Sehingga ini menjadi isyarat akan berdirinya negara bagi kaum Muslim yang akan menaklukkan bumi mulai dari ujung Timur bumi hingga ujung Baratnya.

• Kedua

Dari Ibnu Umar radhiyallahu ’anhu berkata: Aku telah mendengar Rasulullah SAW bersabda:

“Jika kalian telah berjual-beli dengan cara ’înah (penjualan secara kredit dengan tambahan harga); dan kalian telah mengambil ekor sapi, lalu kalian (lebih) suka bertani, hingga kalian meninggalkan jihad, maka (ketika itu) Allah menimpakan kepada kalian kehinaan, Allah tidak akan mecabutnya sampai kalian kembali ke agama kalian.”
(HR. Abu Dawud)

Sabda beliau, “sampai kalian kembali ke agama kalian” artinya adalah sampai kalian kembali melaksanakan ajaran agama, dan menerapkannya untuk semua urusan kehidupan kalian. Dengan demikian, hadits ini merupakan bisyârah (kabar gembira) dari Rasulullah SAW bahwa kaum Muslim akan kembali lagi menerapkan agamanya secara kâffah, menyeluruh, setelah sebelumnya mereka meninggalkannya.

• Ketiga

Dari Abu Qabil yang berkata: Kami berada di sisi Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Ash radhiyallahu ’anhu. Lalu, ia ditanya tentang manakah di antara dua kota yang akan ditaklukkan pertama, Konstantinopel atau Roma. Kemudian ia mengambil kotak yang ada hiasannya, ia mengeluarkan surat dari katak tersebut, ia berkata: Abdullah Berkata, ”Pada saat kami sedang menulis di sisi Rasulullah SAW, tiba-tiba Rasulullah SAW ditanya, manakah di antara dua kota yang akan ditaklukkan pertama, Konstantinopel atau Roma. Rasulullah SAW bersabda:
“Kota Heraklius yang akan ditaklukkan pertama—yakni Konstantinopel.”
(HR. Ahmad)

Ketika Rasulullah SAW ditanya tentang penaklukkan dua kota, Konstantinopel dan Rumiyah—yaitu Roma ibu kota Italia—beliau tidak menafikan (membantah) penaklukkan Roma. Namun beliau hanya mengatakan bahwa Konstantinopel akan ditaklukkan pertama. Ini menunjukkan bahwa Roma akan ditaklukkan setelahnya. Sementara hingga saat ini, Roma belum ditaklukkan oleh kaum Muslim. Dengan demikian, hadits ini merupakan bisyârah (kabar gembira), bahwa kaum Muslim akan menaklukkan ibu kota Italia tersebut. Dan tidak terbayangkan bahwa kaum Muslim akan menaklukkannya sebelum kembalinya Khilafah yang menghidupkan kembali jihad di jalan Allah dan penaklukkan kota (melakukan futuhat).

• Keempat

Dari Nu’man bin Basyir, dari Hudzaifah radhiyallahu ’anhu berkata: Rasulullah SAW bersabda:

“Akan ada fase kenabian di tengah-tengah kalian. Dengan kehendak Allah, ia akan tetap ada, kemudian Dia akan mengakhirinya, jika Dia berkehendak untuk mengakhirinya. Kemudian akan ada fase Khilafah berdasarkan metode kenabian. Dengan kehendak Allah, ia akan tetap ada, kemudian Dia akan mengakhirinya, jika Dia berkehendak untuk mengakhirinya. Kemudia akan ada fase penguasa yang zalim. Dengan kehendak Allah, ia akan tetap ada, kemudian Dia akan mengakhirinya, jika Dia berkehendak untuk mengakhirinya. Lalu akan ada fase penguasa diktator. Dengan kehendak Allah, ia akan tetap ada, kemudian Dia akan mengakhirinya, jika Dia berkehendak untuk mengakhirinya. Selanjutnya akan datang kembali Khilafah berdasarkan metode kenabian. Kemudian belia SAW diam.”
(HR. Ahmad dan Ath-Thabarani)

Hadits ini menjelaskan bahwa Khilafah akan tegak kembali setelah fase penguasa yang zalim (mulkan ’adhan), dan fase penguasa diktator (mulkan jabariyan). Dan Khilafah yang akan tegak itu adalah Khilafah ‘ala minhaji an-nubuwah, Khilafah yang sesuai dengan metode kenabian, yakni Khilafah yang menilai dirinya seperti Khilafah pada masa Khulafaur Rasyidin. Sehingga dengan izin Allah, Khilafah yang akan tegak adalah Khilafah Rasyidah. Inilah jawaban untuk pertanyaan masalah pertama. Sedangkan jawaban untuk pertanyaan masalah kedua adalah sebagai berikut:

Sesungguhnya, sekalipun hadits-hadits an-nabawiyah asy-syarîfah menyebutkan bahwa Al-Mahdi akan menegakkan Khilafah, maka hal ini tidak menunjukkan bahwa kaum Muslim wajin menunggu Al-Mahdi sampai Al-Mahdi mendirikan Khilafah untuk mereka. Apa yang diwajibkan atas mereka tetap wajib, yaitu menegakkan Khilafah. Menegakkan Khilafah di samping wajib atas Al-Mahdi, wajib pula atas kaum Muslim selain dia. Sehingga, mereka yang masih kental dengan kehidupan beragama, seperti yang digambarkannya, tidak punya hujjah (alasan) yang dapat mereka jadikan dasar untuk berdiam diri, tidak beraktivitas untuk menegakkan Khilafah, hanya dengan mengajukan pernyataan bahwa Al-Mahdi yang akan menegakkan Khilafah, sebagaimana hal itu tampak dengan jelas. Oleh karena itu, mereka yang masih beragama, namun berdiam diri, tidak beraktivitas menegakkan Khilafah, maka mereka berdosa, akibat sikapnya yang berdiam diri, tidak berbuat apa-apa, dan Allah juga akan meminta pertanggungjawaban mereka atas sikap diamnya ini. Konsekwensinya, jika mereka mati sebelum tegaknya Khilafah, maka ia mati seperti matinya kaum jahiliyah (mati dalam keadaan berdosa). Sebab, ada riwayat dari Abdullah bin Umar radhiyallahu ’anhu yang berkata: Aku telah mendengar Rasulullah SAW bersabda:

“Siapa saja yang melepaskan ketaatan, maka ia akan bertemu Allah pada hari kiamat tanpa memiliki hujjah. Dan siapa saja yang meninggal sedang di pundaknya tidak ada baiat, maka ia mati seperti mati jahiliyah (dalam keadaan berdosa).”

Sementara itu, orang yang selamat dari mati jahiliyah adalah orang-orang yang beraktivitas menegakkan Khilafah. Oleh karena itu, wahai orang-orang yang masih beragama waspadalah agar jangan sampai kalian mati jahiliyah, yang tentu kalian tidak menginginkannya. Ini yang pertama.

Kedua, sesungguhnya hadits-hadits an-nabawiyah asy-syarîfah tidak secara mutlak menyebutkan bahwa Al-Mahdi yang akan menegakkan Khilafah, karena banyak sekali hadits yang meriwayatkannya. Sedangkan, masing-masing hadits yang disebutkan semuanya menunjukkan bahwa Al-Mahdi adalah seorang Khalifah yang baik dan memerintah dengan adil. Misalnya sabda Rasulullah SAW:

“Al-Mahdi itu dari keturunanku, wajahnya tampan, dan hidungnya mancung. Ia akan memenuhi bumi dengan kebaikan dan keadilan. Dimana sebelumnya, bumi dipenuhi dengan kekejaman dan ketidak adilan. Dan ia berkuasa selama tujuh tahun.”
(HR. Abu Dawud)

Sehingga, dalam hal ini, nama nash yang mereka jadikan dalil bahwa Al-Mahdi yang akan menegakkan Khilafah? Justru kami memiliki nash yang menolak pemahaman bahwa Al-Mahdi yang akan menegakkan Khilafah. Dan nash ini menjelaskan bahwa Al-Mahdi akan menjadi Khalifah setelah meninggalnya Khalifah sebelumnya. Sehingga, ini menegaskan bahwa Khilafah akan tegak sebelum Al-Mahdi menjadi Khalifah. Al-Mahdi adalah Khalifah yang menggantikan Khalifah sebelumnya dalam daulah Khilafah Rasyidah yang—tidak lama lagi—akan datang (berdiri) dengan izin Allah. Sekali lagi, ini menegaskan bahwa Al-Mahdi bukan orang yang menegakkan Khilafah. Dengan begitu, gugurlah hujjah (alasan) mereka untuk berdiam diri, tidak beraktivitas, dan hanya menunggu Al-Mahdi, yang menurut klaim mereka bahwa Al-Mahdi inilah yang akan menegakkan Khilafah untuk mereka.

Diriwayatkan bahwa Ummu Salamah radhiyallahu ’anha berkata: Aku mendengar Rasulullah SAW bersabda:

“Terjadi perselisihan ketika meninggalnya seorang Khalifah. Kemudian, seorang dari Bani Hasyim (Al-Mahdi) keluar pergi ke Makkah. Masyarakat membawanya (Al-Mahdi) keluar rumah menuju antara ar-rukn (hajar aswad) dan al-maqâm (maqam Ibrahim ‘alaihissalam). Sementara, dari Syam telah disiapkan pasukan untuk menyerangnya, namun ketika mereka berada di al-Baida’ (sebuah tempat antara Makkah dan Madinah), mereka semua ditenggelamkan (oleh Allah). (Melihat karamahnya itu), beberapa kelompok dari Irak, dan para wali (Abdal) dari Syam mendatanginya (untuk berbaiat). Seseorang di Syam yang ibunya dari Bani Kalb, menyiapkan pasukan untuk menyerangnya, kemudian Allah-pun mengalahkan mereka, sehingga bencana pun menimpa mereka, maka hari itu merupakan hari kekalahan bagi Bani Kalb. Bahkan, orang yang menyesal adalah orang yang tidak berhasil mendapatkan ghanimah (harta rampasan perang) Bani Kalb. Kemudian, ia (Al-Mahdi) membuka berbagai harta simpanan, membagi-bagi harta, menyampaikan (mendakwahkan) Islam ke wilayah-wilayah sekitarnya. Masyarakat hidup bersama (Al-Mahdi) itu selama tujuh tahun, atau sembilan tahun.”
(HR. Ath-Thabarani dalam Al-Ausath, Al-Haitsami menyebutnya dalam Majma’uz Zawâij, ia berkata “semuanya rawinya adalah para rawi yang shahih”)

Hadits ini disepakati oleh para rawi hadits dan pensyarahnya bahwa Khalifah yang dimaksud dalam hadits ini adalah Al-Mahdi (Imam Mahdi). Hadits ini merupakan nash yang sharîh (gamblang) bahwa Khalifah (Imam Mahdi) ini datang menggantikan Khalifah sebelumnya, “Terjadi perselisihan ketika meninggalnya seorang Khalifah. Kemudian, seorang dari….” Dengan demikian, Imam Mahdi bukan orang yang akan menegakkan Khilafah, dan ia juga bukan Khalifah pertama dalam negara Khilafah Rasyidah—yang tidak lama lagi—akan tegak dengan izin Allah. Sehingga yang tersisa di depan setiap orang Muslim adalah kekhawatiran dan ketakutan dari mati jahiliyah, mati dalam keadaan berdosa. Oleh karena itu, tidak ada jalan lain, selain bangkit dengan penuh semangat beraktivitas untuk menegakkan kembali Khilafah, dan mengangkat seorang Khalifah.

Omdurman, Sudan

The shrine at the Mahdi’s grave in Omdurman, Sudan. The Mahdi’s emergence, capture of most of Sudan and finally Khartum in the 1880s, and subsequent rule in Sudan was one of the first times when Africans managed to reconquer their lands from European colonial powers, but the Mahdi movement also posed a fundamental threat to the contemporary Islamic world, in all the revolutionary and fanatic nature of its interpretation of Islam. The British and their Egyptian allies finally managed to recapture Khartum in 1989, but the Mahdist uprising left a kind of lasting legacy.

The late Muhaddith of Hijaz; Shaykh as-Sayyid Muhammad ibn ‘Alawi ibn ‘Abbas ibn ‘Abd al-’Aziz al-Maliki al-Hasani al-Makki (rah) was a descendent of the Prophet Muhammad (uwbp). He was the first “Saudi” to receive a PhD. from Sunni Islam’s foremost seat of learning, Al Azhar. He held over 200 Ijazah’s in Hadith, Aqedah, Fiqh, Usool etc. Shaykh Muhammad ibn ‘Alawi’s family taught in the Haram in Makka Al Mukkarama as did the Shaykh himself, from the age of 15.

He was titled ‘Shaykh al-Islam fil-Balad al-Haram’, the educator of Ahl al-Sunna and light of the House of the Prophet in his time, a major contemporary Scholar of Hadith, commentary of Qur’an, Law, doctrine, tasawwuf, and Prophetic biography (sira), the most highly respected authority of Ahl al-Sunna in the Mother of Cities, and passed away in 1425/2004. Both his father (d. 1971CE) and grandfather were the Imams and head preachers of the Sacred Mosque in Makka, as was al-Sayyid Muhammad himself beginning in 1971 and until 1983. May Allah have mercy on them and continue to benefit us with them. He single handedly refuted each and every one of the Wahabi/Salafi scholars of Najd.

Jalia til-Qadr

The venerable Shaykh al-Islam bil Balad al-Haram as-Sayyid Muhammad ibn ‘Alawi al-Makki encouraged the regular recitation of the Qaseeda Jalia til-Qadr on the 17th of each month, and recited it himself as well. This Qaseeda makes mention of the Imams of Ahlul Bayt, specifically identifying them as “Ali, Hasnain, ‘Ali Sajjad, wa bi Baqir, wa bi Sadiq, wa bi Kadhim, thummar Radha…Naqihum, wa Taqihum, wa bi ‘Askari, a’immati ithna ‘ashar (the Twelve Imams), and the Seal of them, the descendant of the Prophet; Muhammad Mahdina (our guide), Imam al-Muntadhar (the Awaited Imam)”.

Here are the verses from the Qaseeda about the Twelve Imams in Arabic,

وكذا بفاطمة التي فَضُلَتْ على كل النِّسَاء وقلِّدَتْ عِقدَ الفَخرأيضاً

وبالحَسَنين سِبطي سيِّد ال كونين مَن بكِسائِهِ لهُما ستر
وبعمه العباسِ ثمَّ بنجلِهِ ال حَبر عبد الله نِبراس الفِكر

وكذا بكل الآل والأصحاب وال أزواجِ والعمات ربَّاتِ الخَفر
وعليٌّ السَّجَّادِ مِصباحِ الدُّجَى وبباقرٍ مَن للمعالمِ قدْ بقر
وبصَادقٍ وبكاظمٍ ثمَّ الرِّضَى مَن للمَساجد والمدارس قد عَمر
والأمْجَدَين نقِيهُم وتقِيهُم وبعسكري أئِمَّة اثني عشر
وبختْمِهم نجْلَ الرَّسُول مُحَمد مَهدِينَا الآتِي الإمَام المُنتظَر
