Let the Journey Begin!

I am starting the first day of the HcG diet plan. It is technically day 3 since the first two days you just pig out. I was excited for the pig-out days, but it was not as enjoyable as I thought. After eating healthy (for the most part), it was difficult to eat fatty and sugary foods… my stomach hated me.

Anyways, today is the first day of the VLCD (very low-calorie diet) and I am already not feeling so great. I may be catching something from one of the lady’s at work, but it could be pure exhaustion. I took a five-minute nap in the car before heading up to work.

My starting weight is 152.5 (I was told I would gain weight during the “loading” days do it’s a bit higher than usual)

My goal weight is 120 lbs and since I should lose 1-2 lbs/day for the first two weeks, I should be able to reach my goal is 2-4 weeks. The maintenance period will be very important and I will be combining strength training and mild cardio to increase muscle tone. I am excited to see the results, yet terrified of the difficulty.

In anticipation of today, I dreamt of food ALL NIGHT LONG! Let’s hope it was a one time deal.
