Top 3 Actions Factors that will Build your Home-Base Business. 1) It’s all about the PRODUCT.

Top 3 Actions

Factors that will Build your Home-Base Business.

1) It’s all about the PRODUCT. If you don’t think your product has value to the end-user you will not be able to have the success you desire. That’s because when you sell a product rarely are you selling that product itself, you’re selling your enthusiasm and passion for the product. People buy things that get them excited, not just things that are going to add value to their lives.

2) You must have an iron will to succeed. Even the most experienced leaders continue to hear rejection on a daily basis. The measure of a leader is their endurance and the refusal to quit. Successful entrepreneurs are willing to fail and try again. It’s simple you will only be successful based on the amount of time and effort you are willing to invest in your business.

3) This factor maybe the most important to being successful and that is to be REAL. I don’t mean realistic, I mean real. They want to connect with someone who is down to earth and natural. Just be yourself! That will resonate with your prospects and your natural enthusiasm for the product will be received and rewarded.

We have an “easy” system to follow and see duplication in our business. Sometimes the ease of the business model we can find ourselves easily not participating in the daily actions.

The difference between success and failure is:

Be doing the income producing activities in your business

Keep your purpose clear on the “why”

Discipline – do the things you don’t want to do

Collaborate with Leaders

Cultivating Leadership on your Team

Gratitude for the life you have and life you are creating

Participate in Learning and Sharing

Keep it Simple

We have a proven system and a business that family matters. We do not trade TIME for money and have many leaders to follow here at PMG. Our products are life changing and you will experience growth both personally and financially. You will become a better friend, son, daughter, mother, father, sister or brother. To experience something different you will need to make a decision you have never made before. Take a look at this income opportunity available part-time or full-time.

Dear New Principal: I wanted to say thank you for the “drop and go” system, it is a grea

Dear New Principal:

I wanted to say thank you for the “drop and go” system, it is a great new system for getting my son to class. I would however, like to let you know of a snag in your system.

My son is in 2nd grade and his classroom door is in the back of the school. I have on two occasions dropped him off seconds after the first bell has rang and the teachers out front have sent him to the back of the school for entrance. One time they closed the side door on him and several other children and they had to run to the front. I don’t think that the young kids should have to run around the building to get into class; I fear diversions like him hiding out or playing at the park or worse, someone taking him astray. I also think that there should be an adult at this entrance until 8:40, as the other doors are locked within minutes of the first bell and the parents are not allowed to drop off in the front until after 8:40.

Your response to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time in this matter.

__________________________________________________________

I am expecting her to tell me to walk my kid up to the door, which isn’t a big deal but her system needs fixin. REMEMBER: It only takes one to make a change or bug the eff out of someone to get your point across and your way.

” You can make a change.Well we all could. That’s if you really give a damn”

Its been a wonderful week so far. Nothing seriously major happen. No life threaten event or any of that matter. In fact its been an exultant week. With everyone you love and value the most were all safe and in good health. You’re just plain happy. Nothing else matter than this moment in your life. Selfish as it may seems but you just seize the moment and absorb this wonderful feeling wishing it would last forever. Doesn’t care in the world if your not rich as a midas or doesn’t have enough money in your bank account to renovate your old parents house or didn’t have enough spare change to give to those unlucky people on a dangerous busy roads begging for some spare change. Sadden with the realization that your helpless to help them. That you live in a place where corruption is already an everyday life, a survival thing in the human race. And even if were the leading catholic country in asia or the only catholic country in asia still it didn’t change the fact that were also the most corrupt country while indonesia on the other hand weren’t far behind. No matter how much you love your country changing it wouldn’t happen overnight. Not when you don’t have the power or the voice to make it happen. I once read on a book that said “A CAR WITH OUT ANY DENTS IS LIKE A FACE WITHOUT ANY LAUGH LINE” or “A COUNTRY WHO DIDN’T GONE TO ANY WAR IS A COUNTRY WITHOUT ANY HISTORY” according to somebody. But what struck me the most is the sentiment in one of Michael Jackson’s song. “IF YOU WANNA MAKE A WORLD A BETTER PLACE TAKE A LOOK AT YOURSELF AND THEN MAKE A CHANGE” well said. You don’t need to go too far to make a change. All you need is face the mirror and then start from there. If the change doesn’t start from you then where? or rather WHO? Granted its true that we can’t change a single country overnight and that goes the saying that “ROME WASN’T BUILD IN A DAY” but you gotta start somewhere if want some change. What the heck is wrong with me? I suddenly became patriotic hehe.. One thing is more clearer than any piece of diamond this world has ever have. You don’t need to be somebody to make a statement.Sometimes a simple act of compassion is enough to make this place a better place not for everyone or for the world to see but perhaps for someone who needs it more than you ever know. Wow it just struck me.I did have a heart after all to make me feel this way towards our country’s current situation. All it take is it start with one self and then maybe the rest would all follow.

Yesterday I went to The Food Emporium where I was looking for a few items that were missing from my refrigerator. I happened to stroll through one of the isles where they sell pancake mix and sweeteners.

I was surprised to see that mixed in with the Bisquick were healthy brands like Arrowhead and Bob’s Red Mill. I also saw Agave nectar mixed in with the Aunt Jemima’s syrup. This actually surprised me because I am used to seeing an entirely separate section for the healthy items.

When I talked to my fiancé about it, who was in the store with me, we decided that this was amazing because it may be possible that the consumers of Bisquick will go to pick up their merchandise but they will see the Arrowhead instead. It’s quite possible that these people will pick up both to look at the difference and they will surely see that Arrowhead is a MUCH healthier choice! How amazing and brilliant those Food Emporium people are!

I am thrilled to see this new display of the merchandise in their store. Maybe other supermarkets will catch on and it will become a new way of shopping for many people.

Check out your nearest market to see how they have it set up. Are the healthy foods easily accessible? Is there a section made just for the healthy foods? And if so, why isn’t it mixed with the other type of food?

If they make a special section, the people who don’t normally shop there will most likely not find themselves down the healthy section. With this new way of displaying the items, those that usually choose unhealthy choices will be faced with a choice of a healthy brand. FINALLY!

Ask questions and let yourself be heard.

I have written many Michael Jackson articles, I hope my readers will not get weary. I keep writing about him or referring to him because he did a lot for many people and he touched many lives as well. Most persons only know of the various accusations against him. I wanted to write an article about people giving back and what better man to refer to than the Entertainer of all time, the king of pop – who gave back to so many charities worldwide – Michael Jackson.

The Guinness Book of World Records in the 2000 edition listed Michael Jackson as having the record for supporting the most charities – all of 39. These donations have come in the form of monetary donations through sponsorships or by participating in their silent auctions. Below is a list of all the charities that benefited from Michael Jackson.

AIDS Project L.A.

American Cancer Society

Angel Food

Big Brothers of Greater Los Angeles

BMI Foundation, Inc.

Brotherhood Crusade

Brothman Burn Center

Camp Ronald McDonald

Childhelp U.S.A.

Children’s Institute International

Cities and Schools Scholarship Fund

Community Youth Sports & Arts Foundation

Congressional Black Caucus (CBC)

Dakar Foundation

Dreamstreet Kids

Dreams Come True Charity

Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation

Juvenile Diabetes Foundation

Love Match

Make-A-Wish Foundation

Minority Aids Project

Motown Museum

NAACP

National Rainbow Coalition

Rotary Club of Australia

Society of Singers

Starlight Foundation

The Carter Center’s Atlanta Project

The Sickle Cell Research Foundation

Transafrica

United Negro College Fund (UNCF)

United Negro College Fund Ladder’s of Hope

Volunteers of America

Watts Summer Festival

Wish Granting

YMCA – 28th Street/Crenshaw

This is a man who could have squandered his earnings on women or the many other things that were around him but he found the time and heart to donate part of his earnings to the various charities worldwide. Even on his will part of his earnings will go to the work to keep doing good in our communities. How many people do we know that when they die stipulate in their wills that charities should benefit from their lives? This is what some people refer to as having a ‘good heart’.

This giving is even emphasized by companies; they dub it ‘Social Responsibility’. The many companies who keep giving back must be congratulated for it. It is so ironic that companies who give back to communities always want a huge media following to report on the little good they do. It is all a stunt. Companies who give to charities in silence are the real heroes of our time. I hate to see when businesses fail to sponsor events, failing to see the benefits they can gain long term.

Michael Jackson’s song Man in the Mirror is an amazing song that underlines this point of starting with the man in the mirror, me. The song invites listeners to analyze themselves asking ‘Who am I to be blind?’ to today’s problems.

We are all one people. Oops! Some people see the world differently, some people see races and classes but we are all one. Some persons cannot give cash, or items but if we cannot afford that we can share love to those who need it.

Companies who make billions and millions of profits annually all celebrate and watch as people beg a little bit more, while the poverty level continues to rise. We have a responsibility to the world and the environment. Michael Jackson who some may only know him to abuse drugs in his death will be remembered as man who gave willingly to the less fortunate. He looked on the man in the mirror and made that change. So as we move on with our lives and join companies and even start our own, remember the lyrics of one of my favourite MJ Hits – Man in the Mirror.

Below is a video I found on www.youtube.com with the co-writer of the song Man in the Mirror Siedah Garrett giving a tribute to Michael Jackson. Take a listen….The song is touching as she reflects on the life of Michael Jackson.

So the writing daily thing lasted pretty good… a whole 1 day streak. I’ve been having thoughts in my mind the past month where I’ve said, “good thought… put it on the blog.” And then I never do… I think I struggle with the whole point of the blog as far as I can tell it’s for me and me alone. A spot to capture a moments thought while constantly growing and constantly changing (for good or bad). So that’s what it will be I guess and anyone else can randomly come across it and maybe relate to a sentence or two.

So yesterday I watched the Michael Jackson Memorial.

I really appreciated it. I was surprised by how moved I was. It ended up depressing me for the rest of the day (even though he died two weeks earlier and my only reaction was, “that sucks.”)

Like a large part of his multi-generational fan base, his music was a part of my childhood (Thriller album on vinyl and all) as I grew up I never bothered to learn or examine how deep or insipirational his lyrics were. Some were just plain simple words to encourage creating a better life for all of those around us.

We Could Fly So High
Let Our Spirits Never Die
In My Heart
I Feel You Are All
My Brothers
Create A World With
No Fear
Together We’ll Cry
Happy Tears
See The Nations Turn
Their Swords
Into Plowshares

We Could Really Get There
If You Cared Enough
For The Living
Make A Little Space
To Make A Better Place…

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race
There Are People Dying
If You Care Enough
For The Living
Make A Better Place
For You And For Me

- “Heal the World” by Michael Jackson

I know he helped lead the way in breaking through racial dividers and I know he was crazy talented. I never knew he was the leading celebrity in supporting charities around the world. The past 15 years to me he seemed a reclusive hermit who was constantly in the spotlight with negative press. It was nice to have a few hours showing the positives of his life.

I sit and think now, are we the world responsible for making him the “wacko” or did we separate him from commonalty to become one of the lonlienest people alive? Was that are way of thanking him for the positive things he did for society?

“The vast majority of the people in that hall and certainly 99 per cent of the celebrities who have come to this memorial did not stand anywhere near Michael Jackson during the years he was accused of those horrible crimes, and they didn’t say, “We believe him innocent.” They didn’t say, “Let the case go where it may, let the facts prove innocence or guild.” They just disappeared, and now they have resurfaced to celebrate his life. That is entirely fitting I’m sure but I personally can’t get over the memory of 2005. When Michael Jackson stood essentially alone and accused and convicted in the minds of many of the most perverse crime.” – Geraldo Rivera (speaking on Fox News after the memorial)

I really apprecaited the memorial service. It wasn’t a glitzy tribute or something hollywoodized (or at least I didn’t think it was). It was emotional and moving. My heart goes out to his family and to all those who were touched, inspired and are hurting.

I’m left inspired as I’m trying to sit down with the goals in my life and having to see what I need to change to make them happen.

Ooh ooh ooh aah
Gotta make a change
For once in my life
It’s gonna feel real good
Gonna make a difference
Gonna make it right

…

I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer

Wow… this has got to be one of the greatest rock tributes ever! Bono and U2 kicked off their 360 Degrees World Tour with a bang paying tribute to Michael Jackson.

The super rockers dedicated their song, Angel of Harlem to Michael Jackson in Barcelona, Spain.

What a Epic moment in music history! And also, a brand new and exciting beginning. May we all look at the man in the mirror, and ask what WE can do, to make the WORLD a better place. This moment is right up there, with Susan Boyle being discovered this year on Britain’s Got Talent. SuBo also made us look at ‘the man’ in the mirror inside all of us, and taught us to see beauty in music and life, in a different way, regardless of the perceived ‘visible flaws’ and eccentricities of the musical vessel bringing the gift of music.

Music is a God given gift. Music transcends ALL divides. Thanks Bono, MJ and SuBo for that gift to us all. The Irish and the Scottish, just totally get it… as world changing minority cultures who have the ability to rise up, like African Americans have in American history, and truly touch the world. MJ through his music broke down all racial divides. His best story is still being told, through the music.

Go U2! Their tour is going to be the biggest world tour ever! You can just feel it in the air. Epic, Epic, Epic!

I just feel so numb. Since Michael died I haven’t been able to another other than play his music and cry. I love Michael. I keep playing his Man in the Mirror and Scream. I am a youngster so these are the songs that stand out with me. Oh and I love smooth operator. I need to change my life. I was thinking Michael is 1 man and he touched so many lives. I go to youtube and it’s I will miss you Mike from Moscow… From England… From Africa… From China. How did this 1 man touch so many lives and yet I touch so little. It is because I am not doing enough in my life to touch anyone. I need to join a community organization. I need to help the homeless. I need to be more like Michael. He is the only artist that didn’t flaunt his wealth in his songs. He didn’t downgrade women. He didn’t talk about sex in derogatory ways. He made pure good music. And look at myself. I am self-centered. Always worried about Me Me Me. Never others. I have to make a change.

I was about to call my mom just to tell her I love her and daddy. But then I realized that is was 3:42am in the morning. Life is short. Tomorrow is not promised. How will I be remember when I die. As an egostical narcisistic woman who cared more about money than doing for others less fortunate than I? What will be my legacy?

In the hustle and bustle of life, we become so consumed with things that don’t mean anything. Money, Power, Fame. These things don’t matter at all. What matters is who will be there when I die? Who will love me when the media, the police, the world is against me? How will my children remember me? As a great mother or as a woman who was more consumed with MY life? Michael Jackson was so eccentric because of how his parents treated him and yet he loved the world. He gave to charities and the less fortunate. In spite of them trying to destroy him, he still loved them. Michael Jackson is our modern day Jesus. He gave so much of himself and asked for so little in return but to be loved….

But is there hope. Michael loved the world and what did they do? They took advantage of his kindness. They preyed apon his weakness and the media exploited him every chance they got. But I am happy he died peacefully. He will always be remembered and I will love him always..

This is from a little book called, “You2,” by Dr. Price Pritchett. I am going to write from a portion of his book, then explain what it can mean to you in your quest for reaching your fitness goals. Here it is:

“I’m sitting in a quiet little room at the Millcroft Inn. A peaceful little place hidden back among the pine trees about an hour out of Toronto. It’s just past noon, late July, and I ‘m listening to the desperate sounds of a life-or-death struggle going on just a few feet away. There’s a small fly burning out the last of its short life’s energies in a futile attempt to fly through the glass of the windowpane. The whining wings tell the poignant story of the fly’s strategy-try harder.

‘But it’s not working.’

The frenzied effort offers no hope for survival. Ironically, the struggle is part of the trap. It is impossible for the fly to try hard enough to succeed at breaking through the glass. Nevertheless, this little insect has staked its life on reaching its goal through raw effort and determination. This fly is doomed. It will die there on the windowsill.

Across the room, ten steps away, the door is open. Ten seconds of flying time and this small creature could reach the outside world it seeks. With only a fraction of the effort now being wasted, it could be free of this self-imposed trap. The break though possibility is there. It would be so easy.

Why doesn’t the fly try another approach, something dramatically different? How did it get so locked in on the idea that this particular route, and determined effort, offer the most promise for success? What logic is there in continuing until death, to seek a breakthrough with ‘more of the same?’

No doubt this approach makes sense to the fly. Regrettably, it is an idea that will kill.

Here’s my request to you for today. DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Look for something you disagree with. That is the place where a breakthrough will come from. ”

For you, that might mean doing something differently that your body disagrees with. Human beings tend to get into routines in life. We will grow up eating a certain way and that will stick with us into adulthood. We get used to certain foods, and for many of us, those certain foods are not healthy or nourishing to the body, but that is what we are used to and what we like. These foods even seem to agree with our body. We crave these foods and it is what we know, so we keep at it just like the fly. Even though the way we are eating is killing us, we do it anyway because that is what feels right and what seems to agree with our bodies.

The same goes for exercising. If we are not used to exercising and try to incorporate this into our lives, it feels very uncomfortable at first, and our bodies protest. Our bodies seem to be screaming to us, “I disagree with this! I don’t like it. It is not working for me!” So, we give up and quit. The way we are not exercising is killing us, just like the fly is not finding a new approach to reaching freedom is killing him.

So, you can stick to what you know and have known for your whole life. Stick to what feels comfortable. Stick to the lie of what your body agrees with; eating an unhealthy diet because it tastes good (although once you do completely stop eating like this it will never taste good again. It will actually make you very sick if you try it again), or not exercising because that seems like the easiest way. That will surely bring misery in your life, and most possibly an early death. The only way to conquer this is to find a new route and take that route. Do something you currently disagree with and with patience and persistence it will be something your body agrees with and your whole life will be changed for the better!

Do we want a magic power?
Do we want to manifest our dreams?
well, I did.

From what I understand, we all have so much potentials in our abilities which are not yet expressed. How do I unlock my potential? This was my question.
I am willing to work on to become better Nao.

“What is the key to unlock my potential?” I asked.
A heavy brass antique key showed up in my head.
At the handle, a pattern is engraved….it looks like a ancient indigenous symbol.
I focused my attention to see the symbol.
Is it the sun god of Maya?
When I tried to remember what Mayan symbols looked like, the handle started morphing.
The mysterious symbol was changing into a BIG SMILEY.

What was I asking about, I thought for a second.
I wanted a key to unlock my potential. And the key is a smile.

The answer can not be clearer than this.
I sometimes laugh at what I find. I had wanted to understand the universe for as long as I can remember.
When I did, the mystery was as simple as breathing.

Our hearts and prayers are leaned towards the way of these survivors in Brazil as residents paddle down a street flooded by water from the Rio Solimoes river, a major tributary of the Amazon, in Anama May 21, 2009.

Floods and mudslides from months of heavy rains in northern Brazil have driven more than 300,000 from their homes and killed at least 44 people, according to Brazilian Civil Defense. Picture taken May 21, 2009.

We were so happy to recently be introduced to the good people at Changents, a new start-up NGO based in neighborly New Hampshire. Changents connects Agents of Change with a fan base of Backers around the world, enabling them to create change together. Who are Agents of Change you may ask? Why, they are all around us! In Changents.com’s own words:

Change Agents are the rock stars of social change. They’re the people who put it on the line everyday to get it done. And there are lots of “super fans” out there who want to get into the act by backing Change Agents and propelling their efforts forward.

That’s where Changents comes in. We enable Change Agents and members of our community around the world to broadcast their amazing stories of creating change and mobilize help from friends everywhere.

Changents recently featured a super inspiring MIT fellow who just launched his own Fair Trade, gluten-free company called VICO Brands, Inc. Here’s the full scoop, care of Changents.com:

Holy Mother of….Grain? Yup, that’s right – Robin Bartling is all about Fair Trading gluten-free products. 1 in 133 Americans is suffering from celiac disease but only 3% know about it. The only way out is the commitment to a strict gluten-free diet (no wheat, barley, rye). Gluten-free products are on the rise…but there are still no Fair Trade products available.

Surprisingly, however, typical Fair Trade products such as Quinoa are naturally gluten-free. Quinoa, a weird word to pronounce, but a very simple product. Quinoa is a wonder food (nutritious, delicious, and anti-allergic) and it’s so resistant to pests that it doesn’t need pesticides or artificial fertilizers. Unfortunately, to date it has not made a very big appearance in the US and, apart from raw materials, there are no gluten-free Fair Trade products like Quinoa on the market today! Well, with our help, Robin is gonna change that real soon!

With his wife Christiane, Robin launched VICO Brands, Inc in April 2009. This company has three main goals: healthy but tasty products, a concentration on Fair Trade principles, and eco-friendly packaging. Triple win!

Instead of bouncing around the US, Robin’s looking a bit more South. In fact, the very first VICO products are being developed in collaboration with a Fair Trade organization in Latin America.

You know what that means? Aside from bringing yummy, healthy, and Fair-tradable goodies into the US, he’ll also be supporting farmers in Latin America. Darn good work for one Change Agent.

The team at Autonomie is really excited about Robin’s work and hopes that you’ll join us in keeping up to date with his travels, trials, and tribulations of running a start-up and all the other tales on Changents.com!

“I’d heard it all the time, ‘Live in the moment.’ But if I did that, I’d weigh more than a dump truck. Losing weight wasn’t about the moment at all; it was about having faith in the future. It was about knowing there would be another meal in a few hours.” – Stephanie Klein, Moose, 2008

Week three of Tammy’s freakin’ Make A Change Challenge was just ok. No, I’m not bitter.

I did get some exercise in by walking several times last week. On Friday, I went on a field trip with my son at which I was in charge of walking around the zoo with five 2nd graders all day. I figured that alone would earn me at least a five pound loss.

Although there was no beer or pizza this weekend (yay!), there was a yummy breakfast at my sister’s and a barbecue at my brother’s-in-law on Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day was actually a really nice day. It was much more low-key and much less high-maintenance that in previous years. Hanging out with my hubby, kids and mine and hubby’s siblings is always a good time. I’m not nearly as angry in general as I was at this time last year so didn’t feel any animosity towards my mother. Last year, thankfully, I was in North Carolina, alone, so no one had to deal with my wrath. I’m happy to report that I think I’m over it.

Enough stalling. My results this week? Two pounds. Lost. Whew! This is a 1% loss for the week. The grand total is a pathetic 2 & 1/2 pounds. In three weeks.

My original goal was ten pounds by Mother’s Day. Clearly, I failed miserably at even coming close to this goal. I’m going to console myself with the fact that at least I lost something and didn’t gain anything either.

I’m not going to set a new goal today. I’m leaving for my girl’s spa getaway on Friday in Hershey Pennsylvania, of all the impossible-to-lose-weight places on earth, and also quitting smoking the same day. No way am I returning from that any slimmer. I’ll set a new goal next week. In the meantime, I will be exercising and watching what I eat up until we leave and keeping my fingers crossed that I don’t come back 10 pounds heavier.

Thanks for stopping by!

“I have to admit that I lie on my Weight Watchers’ food list. I’ll put down that I had 3 eggs…but I won’t put down that they were Cadbury Chocolate Eggs.” – Caroline Rhea

My blogging friend Tammy over at A Moment In Time has started the Make A Change Challenge as a way to get all interested bloggers and non-bloggers to jump on her bandwagon to lose weight and be healthier. I apologize in advance (sorry Tammy, I couldn’t resist ripping on you about this, it’s how I roll) for her shameless quoting of bad Michael Jackson songs….she’s a goofball.

Having said that, I have wanted to get back into shape for some time. I’ve talked about it extensively with hubby and even blogged about it quite awhile ago. What have I done about it? Nada. Zip. Zero. Tammy has inspired me to get my fat ass in gear!

So, each Monday I will post my progress here. I won’t bore (or terrify) you with a before picture, the actual numbers on the scale, or a list of my daily caloric intake. I’ll just summarize my week and progress. If you’d like to join us, head on over to Tammy’s blog.

My initial short-term goal is to lose ten pounds by Mother’s Day. This is realistic and doable.

My biggest challenge is going to be the fact that we’ve had to put our membership to Lifetime Fitness (one of my happy places that I miss terribly) on hold due to my continued lack of employment and income. I’ll have to find other ways to work out. I’m considering going for a walk/jog this morning. I’d prefer to do it at a nearby forest preserve because it’s peaceful, beautiful and I like going there. However, multiple family members have repeatedly warned me of the dangers lurking for women who go into forest preserves alone. Maybe I’ll still go but bring my mace. If I disappear, they’ll know where to start looking.

I’d like to thank Tammy for re-motivating me and hubby is on board too!

Thanks for stopping by!

I tend to get tired of hearing chicks and dudes alike that for whatever reason have gotten themselves into some situation that at the time started off all happiness and rainbows but ended up feeling like a trap.. I speak of the “relationship” Now you can face this dreaded situation in one of two ways…

You can accept it and continue to live in the trap.. slowly chewing at your soul in order to get away one day.. either through cheating, fighting or just going Chris Brown.. If you cant wake up everyday and know why you want to be with that person then maybe that isnt the person for you. If you got with that person because the person you wanted , didnt want you, or you just didnt want to grow old alone? here is a hint… if you can not speak to that person for a day, a week, or a month except over email or text and not miss them…. well.

Or you can do the other…

Enjoy your life, stop playing the games and looking for the RnB love, improve yourself, become a citizen of this world.. round out your souls house with interesting items and experiences… Become a person with something to offer other then an opinion on the latest video and Reality show. Become a Renaissance Man/Woman.. Offer more then a phat ass or stories about what you PLAN on doing… how bout u go DO it!?

It saddens me to see bright intelligent people that cant get over themselves and instead of taking the moment, they spend their 20’s directionless and then quote Jay when its too late.. “30 is not the new 20″ it just means you should have done something with your life… Those that seek out others to validate themselves, or try to live the life that other expect of them… I can speak of physics, politics and Shakespeare.. and then go round the way and get a chicken box and grape soda.. and never stray from who I am..

Can You?

I’m not talking about Washington, or the state you live in, or the county, town etc. I’m talking about you!

Think about it, what kind of mindset do you have today? Are you thinking about scarcity or abundance? Don’t get me wrong things are tough but when has being in scarcity mode ever done you any good?

The fact is there are opportunites out there for you if you choose to look for them AND if you allow yourself to see them. While the traditional job market may be soft (OK, downright dismal) this may be the perfect time for you to finally embark on that adventure you’ve always dreamed of.

It may be an opportunity to use your skills to try something new, to stretch yourself, to take the leap. Or it may be your excuse to give up, to believe everything you hear, everything you read, every negative thought in your head.

It all boils down to a mindset of abundance or scarcity. If you believe that you can still contribute, that you still have much to gain, guess what? You will. If, on the other hand, you believe your world is coming to an end…..well?

*Wearing shorts, t-shirt, and baseball cap, real estate developer Jim McGown is kneading balls of handmade dough, tossing them in the air, catching them, then shaping them into pizzas. Not long ago, McGown, who holds a degree in pure mathematics from the University of Miami, was buying properties all over Brooklyn. But for the past three years he has tossed his 10-year career in real estate aside and transformed himself into a traditional piazzaiolo.

Open yourself up to looking for possibilites you’ve never seen before, looking forward and relishing the challenges ahead. Open yourself up to abundance; you’ll be amazed at what shows up!

From Business Insights: When you hear the term “natural born entrepreneur” what characte

From Business Insights:

When you hear the term “natural born entrepreneur” what characteristics does it bring to mind? It is likely that you thought of inventive, resilient, determined, and maybe even financially savvy. Some people seem to just have that knack for business, they are always thinking of ways to turn nothing into something. The trait may be witnessed in childhood – the child that comes up with a marketing idea for a lemonade stand, or one that sets up a table to sell their old toys, or the wheeler dealer who buys and trades baseball cards. We see that spark, the ability to think outside of the box to take something average and do more. While it’s true that these traits are consistent with an entrepreneurial spirit, we learn that to truly succeed you must have know and harness the power of your instincts.

Here are the seven instincts that drive the way we build a business or attain success in life:

Survival – the desire to maintain your existence, to live.
Comfort – the desire to live with an experience ease.
Territory – the desire to have your own space.
Defense – the desire to protect what’s yours.
Hunt – the desire to seek and capture rewards.
Build – the desire to create.
Love – the desire to give and receive affection.

Chances are that one of these seven instincts represents your key instinct, which drives the primary way that you build and run your business. Taking time to determine your instincts will also enable you to understand the conclusions that you have drawn around them. Your instincts direct your path and cause you to make certain choices in business and life. An introspective examination of your natural predilections will give you insight into the way you make decisions and provide you with a roadmap for future success.

Andre Taylor offers the following tips:
Identify your own instinct. Understanding what drives you can help you to understand your strengths and your weaknesses. Writing or journaling is a good way to get in touch with your inner voice. Write down your observations, ideas, impulses, and reflections. This documentation will help you to review your history and analyze your process. Where were you successful and why? What did not lead to success and why? Patterns will emerge which will illuminate your key instincts, or your driving force.

Align your instincts and business. Many entrepreneurs chose a business because of its potential to earn money, without examining if the business was the right vehicle for them. Are you in the right industry? Are you operating in an area that’s comfortable for you? Will your business allow you to grow? Success is not as sweet if you are not true to yourself. When your business and instincts are aligned you will find greater fulfillment and success as an entrepreneur.

Identify the dark side. Your natural propensity to operate according to your instincts can lead you to miss critical aspects in operating your business. Your instincts may be moving you in the wrong direction. Take time to be introspective and examine what you know, and what you don’t know. In example, if your instinct is to build, you may be missing the elements needed to maintain the business.

Play to your strengths. It is important to play to your natural strengths. Give your business the benefit of your area(s) of expertise. To be successful and happy, it is critical to spend time on your core competencies and delegate the rest. Recruit talented people or outsource to freelancers those activities that you don’t enjoy doing or are not your core competency. You will accomplish far more in your business if you focus your energy in your area of strength. The danger of trying to fulfill all the roles in your business is that you become trapped in the necessities of the business rather than being able to think and act strategically.

Your instincts can be harnessed to maximize your strengths, build the right team and synchronize your inner passion with your business choices. However, you have to be willing to do the work of self-examination. Assessing how you came to be conditioned to make certain choices will improve your ability to make decisions, and to be more strategic in your thinking. Most importantly, you will find greater fulfillment when your inner voice is in harmony with your work life.

Make it happen!

It’s your choice.

Only you can look for new ways to operate, only you can be open enough to engage others who might be able to help, only you can choose to build on the positive, to surround yourself with others who refuse to lose, who refuse to give in.

When things just don’t seem to be going right start with order, get yourself and your team in alignment. What’s the goal? What is it you want to achieve? Is everyone on board? If not get them on board or out the door. Chaos results from a lack of order, poor communication, a misunderstanding of the cause, a lack of community.

Start from the bottom, with the small things. Give yourself and your team a way to win and begin to build on it. Before you know it you will be back into a positive flow, a good vibration. Things will get easier, business will come from places you least expected and, slowly but surely, we will work our way out of this temporary downturn and back into prosperity.

Mumbai: In an effort to draw attention towards the increasing menace of global warming, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) India launched its ‘lights out’ initiative — Earth Hour global campaign — at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) campus —during the Azeotropy festival organsied by the chemical engineering department of IITB on Saturday. At the launch, Mayor Shubha Raul inaugurated a signature drive for the campaign, scheduled to be held for one hour on March 28 at 8:30 pm, to urge people to show their support for action on climate change.

Raul said it was the cities more than the rural areas that were to be blamed for the misuse of electricity and that she would urge corporators to partcipate in the campaign wholeheartedly.

Dr Goldin Quadros of WWF said, “When the organisers of the festival from IITB approached us with the idea of tying up with the campaign, we were a bit skeptical because chemical engineering and pollution go hand in hand. But then we also thought that the fest, whose theme this year is ‘We mean Green’, could be a good platform to inform young students about the need for green technologies and also to spread across awareness about the campaign to other regions of the country.”

CALL FOR SOCIAL MEDIA TO SPREAD THE WORD FOR EARTH HOUR

March 3 2009: With one month to go before the world switches off for Earth Hour 2009, organisers are calling on the social media community to help this year’s campaign to reach out to one billion people around the world.

Earth Hour is urging bloggers, podcasters, online video makers, mobile users and online social networkers to spread the word about the importance of turning your lights out for one hour at 8.30pm on March 28.

“Social media has proved it can be a powerful force for driving change, but when the stakes are as high as they have ever been, we really need the support of the online community for Earth Hour this year,” said Earth Hour Executive Director Andy Ridley.

In December 2009 world leaders meet in Copenhagen to agree on a post-Kyoto policy for tackling climate change. One billion people voting with their light switch during Earth Hour will create a powerful mandate for our leaders to take strong and decisive action on climate change in Copenhagen.

WWF’s Earth Hour calls on the social media community to help spread the word by:
• Creating blog posts and podcasts about the importance of global action on climate change and how participation in Earth Hour can make a difference
• Joining one of the 50 Earth Hour social media profiles on networks such Facebook, YouTube, MySpace, flickr and Twitter
• Creating a video and posting it on the web
• Embedding the codes to Earth Hour videos
• Downloading and sharing Earth Hour web banners, online badges, posters, wallpapers
• Mentioning Earth Hour in your status updates in the countdown to Earth Hour
• Registering on the http://www.earthhour.org/ website

“The open source nature of Earth Hour allows people to be highly creative in the way they drive the campaign forward. We encourage you to download, share and create your own material in support of Earth Hour,” said Mr Ridley.

The Earth Hour campaign is already generating a strong online presence: every seven seconds a new mention about Earth Hour appears on the web; Earth Hour social profiles have over 230,000 friends and followers with a new connection every 20 seconds; and an Earth Hour video is viewed every 20 seconds online.

“The global online community can be the catalyst to Earth Hour 2009 reaching one billion people and delivering on its goal of compelling world leaders to really tackle climate change,” Mr Ridley said.

About Earth Hour
Earth Hour is a global WWF climate change initiative. Individuals, businesses, governments and communities are invited to turn out their lights for one hour on Saturday March 28, 2009 at 8:30 PM to show their support for action on climate change. The event began in Sydney in 2007, when 2 million people switched off their lights. In 2008, more than 50 million people around the globe participated. In 2009, Earth Hour aims to reach out to 1 billion people in 1,000 cities.

In December 2009 world leaders meet in Copenhagen to agree on a post-Kyoto policy for tackling climate change. One billion people voting with their light switch during Earth Hour will create a powerful mandate for our leaders to take strong and decisive action on climate change in Copenhagen.

Earth Hour is asking bloggers to help spread the word about the importance of turning your lights out for one hour at 8.30pm on March 28. Please feel free to use any of these assets in your blog:

I think we have all had it at some time, many times I am sure in fact. Your in the supermarket, its late, your hungry, your grabbing your shopping, you have good intentions of helping the environment but you forgot your eco bag, I guess it wont hurt its only one bag. It occurred to me just how many people, somewhere in the world, are think that same thought at the same time, this then makes your one innocent plastic bag not just one, but one of many.

I believe we can all ‘be the change we wish to see in the world’, just by making small changes in our daily lives. A lot of us are blind to the impact we create in this world, the foot prints we leave behind when we walk our path through life. From my own experience in life, I have grown to believe this is often because we think that even if we tried to make a small difference it would be so insignificant that it would hardly scratch the surface.

However after watching Obama inauguration speech I am reminded of my vision that we can create better in our world, and not by each of us waiting for someone else to fix it for us, but by believing in our own greatness and our own abilities to make that difference.

Therefore I have created ‘Bags of Change’, the same bags of colour bags, just with a positive statement added to the pocket from someone who has proven we can achieve great things and we can impact positive change. Dare to be seen with a ’Bags of Change’ bag by and spread a positive message. http://www.bagsofcolour.com http://www.bethshepherd.com
