There are several types of blogs. These are the following:

•    Personal blog – this is the most famous type of blog used in some of the friendly hub in the net. This is defined as the online diary or journal, where you can post your poem and other literature piece.

•    Cultural blog – it discusses all about music, arts, theater and other popular culture.

•    Topic blog – it focuses on the function like some of the search engines present now. Some writers who want to write about something unknown can use it.

•    Business blog – this talk about the stock market and other business related topics. It is also use to promote businesses, to talk about economics in forum type and manage information.

•    Science blog – it is the mode used to disseminate information and data. However, scientists only use this mode for simple scientific data and information because they believe that it could damage the credibility of their science as many people can read it.

There are many web-based blog journals available online. You can post your own blog, too. Anyone can start writing a blog. In many cases, it is free. How do you start making a blog?

Here is how, follow the following steps in writing a blog.

1.    There are many blog sites available online that offers free blog posting. They also offer free accounts with many features.

2.    You can blog in private and in public. Many blog site offer a blog that contains a password, only a few can read your blog. You can also post a blog that can be read by anyone.

3.    You will be given an option to choose the scheme of your blog site. You can edit your own color, layouts and schemes according to your taste and personality.

4.    You can write your own blog and post it afterwards.

You should keep your writings interesting as it can be. Do not focus on topics that readers do not find interesting. Remember to post only writings that are not offensive so readers will become more interested in your writings. You should also check your spellings and other relevant mistakes that can ruin your credibility as a writer.

Use words that can be easily understood by readers. Proofread your writings before posting. Never copy others blog, you can be issued a case called plagiarism.

Problema: I am a terrible photographer. Plus also, I am lazy with photos. Srsly, y’all–I have about 20 photos of Boyfriend and me together, and we have been together for about 3 years and have been to some kickass places. That is sad.

Now, in all honesty, I should not be in here right now. Tonight, my head feels murky and my body feels heavy and I am working myself into a tizzy with stress. I should avoid blogging for fear my fingers will vomit up emotional turmoil that would be over-dramatized and way, way too personal. You’re not allowed to see my guts in here!

Yes, sometimes, I do not make a lick of sense. (What does that mean? A lick of sense.)
I often say things because they get stuck up there in my head, and I want to get them out, if for no other reason than they sound rhythmic or novel. Frequently, these things that I unstick from my head do not make any sense whatsoever. I don’t backspace them, though, because it amuses me. Please don’t mistake me for Borat; I do actually know English and how to use it.

Important thing number two. My brain moves fast, and I have a hard time leaving things out. Therefore, I go down lots of rabbit trails. It’s annoying. It’s not annoying to me, actually, but I’m insecure about it. So, I say it’s annoying before YOU can say it’s annoying. So there. Ha. Fuck you mean people. I will be mean to myself first!

Important thing number three. I talk funny. No, seriously. Over the years I have fallen in love with obscure adjectives and words and general phraseology (I learned that word from The Music Man when I was 10), and it makes me sound like a pretentious windbag. But I swear, I am not a pretentious bag of wind. I wear retainers. Does that help? I am huge tumblr dork. I like stray cats. I have a pair of jeans I have owned for 8 years. I am trying to build a good case against pretention. Why is pretention not a word? I am going to make it one. Sometimes I make up words. But I let you know, so you don’t go around using them like a dolt to your friends and your friends are PRETENTIOUS and all like, “Ohh, ha ha ha, you imbecile, pretention is not a word.” And then you are mad as hell at me for ever leading you on like that. Because I am obviously in a position of power now.

I worry that the Junie B Jones books may have shaped my inner voice a little too much. I think it shows.

I have a boyfriend. His name is Boyfriend. I will tell you things about him later. Like how he is really handsome and I love him ever so much and I don’t like breakfast but he does.

I live with crazy people momentarily. You might hear about them. Why? Because who doesn’t like hearing about crazy people. I mean, really now. Oh, the stories I have for you, fine people.

I talk to you. Because I’m weird. I also answer you, even though, no, don’t worry, I don’t hear you talking back to me. But if you leave a comment, I might. If you’re mean, and I can’t think of something clever or find a good cat picture to leave you, then I will ignore you like I ignore that Tupperware container I accidentally forgot about just long enough in the refrigerator. Oh the anxiety those containers produce.

LAST important thing to know about me. Whatever number this is. I quit counting.  I shout a lot. Do not take offense from this, OKAY? I JUST LIKE TO RAISE MY VOICE IN AN EXCITED WAY SOMETIMES.

There is actually one more important thing to know about me. It is the most important of all. I will let you know about this later. BAZING. Your first cliff hanger!

PPS. Boyfriend just found out about this blog. He asks me to be ambiguous about where he goes to school. I wasn’t even probably going to tell you he goes to school, but that is apparently okay as long as I don’t tell you where. He is ashamed of me, I think. I’m joking. He also promises to “warm up to being more open in the future.” Boyfriend thinks this blog is going to be all about him. Ha ha ha. You are mistaken, sir. GET YOUR OWN BLOG TO BE AMBIGUOUS ON.

I have thought that at least 100 times. Maybe not 100 times. But more than 20. A lot of times, okay?
And people have told me I should start a blog. But that number is more like 3. That is not very reassuring now that I type it out.

• I could regale you with fights I have with my boyfriend. Yes, I know. That is a terrible idea. I’m only joking anyway.
• I could talk about the perilous ups and downs of my life right now aka I dropped out of college and am moving to New York City.
• I read a book about Happiness and I just want to tell everyone about it, but that book already has a blog.
• I could be all anonymous and write about all sorts of awesome shit I learned in therapy. Oh PS. Like Craig Ferguson, I am a huge advocate for therapy. Go. Just don’t see a crazy person. Boyfriend thinks I am too picky about therapists and should start an eHarmony site for therapists and clients. I think I will call him Boyfriend. • I could write about all kinds of recipes I am making every day for a year out of Julia Child’s cookbook. Problems: Been done. Book. Movie. Cookbook is $50.

• I could just rant and rave about things that piss me off. But really, who wants to come read a soapbox manifesto. That phrase doesn’t even make sense–what am I talking about?! Soapbox Manifesto. There are bloggers who have come a long way from being “nobody” into some sort of celebrity simply by blogging about their interests. The ideas you have can be easily rejected by those around you, but there are people somewhere in the world, over the internet who will find that your ideas make a lot of sense and will thank and praise you for sharing them in your blog.

For the type, I have recently had a fascination with black. Its sleek, its cool, it matches my going out attire. Ok, that is not the most important but these little associations are what make things pop.
Example one: Where is it hard to take a phone call?

So for now the blog will be black and white with a splash of red, maybe with time it will be read all over.

First, you have to set up an account. With an account, you can create an unlimited number of blogs. When you visit your blog, it will have an ordinary, default theme for the design. You can pick a different theme to use and, depending on the theme, change it up a little bit. However, in order to really make some design decisions, you have to pay to change the CSS. Now, if you have no idea what CSS is, then don’t even bother with it right now. My frugal side beat out my designer side, and I decided not to give WordPress any money. Instead, I chose a theme that had a header because you can import your own image and replace the default header and then narrowed down my choice to the theme that had the title for the blog at the top.

The post section allows you to easily post an article on your blog. You create a heading and then just start writing. There are a few text editing options and most of the buttons are self explanatory. WordPress also has an easy-to-use and understand help section for all of this. Once your post is written, read it over once or twice for spelling and grammar corrections, and then look to the right for more options. You have an option to post your blog immediately or save it and post it later. Below that, you can type in tags for your blog. These are keywords and short phrases used to describe your post. If a search is done on a topic your blog is about, using tags to hi-lite keywords is a good way to make sure your blog shows up in the search or a good way to describe your post in a few words. Below the tag box is the category box. This allows you to keep your blog organized and make it easy for people to find posts under a specific topic.

If you want your blog to be more complicated, you can also add pages. These pages are not additional blogs but just a blank page to put on it whatever you want, and essentially create a website. You can decide whether your home page shows your blog, or if you want it to be another page. You have to go to the Appearance section to change this and it is laid out for you step-by-step in the help section. Your pages can be about yourself, the blog, your personal business, or almost anything. However, if you want to get rid of “wordpress” in your URL, you have to pay to purchase your own domain name, something you can do through WordPress. This site is now becoming a cheap and easy way to create a website, not just a blog. If you decide to go this route, just remember that you will not be able to get rid of the WordPress loook of it completely. You can pay extra to change the CSS, but you cannot delete the text at the bottom that says wordpress and who designed the theme, you can only make the size of the font really small.

Now, that’s not all. In addition to WordPress.com, there is also a WordPress.org. They are essentially the same site. It is the same company and the interface is almost identical. This service is for those who still do not know much about web design, but want a website that they can easily edit, or for those who want a more complicated blog. With WordPress.org, you must buy a domain name and have web hosting. You can either purchase it right before you start, or use an already existing account, just make sure they fit WordPress’s requirements.
