Hi, this is Malign

No, these are not jokes. I just feel so happy that all my plans are going properly. Besides, I can modify them on the fly. So, here goes something that I made out of boredom, and lack of resources:

“Mwa haha hahahaha. Hahahaha! Oh yes, now that everything is going the way it should be, I’ll be perfectly fine! Hahahaha! Mwa haha haha hahaha! Hehehehahahaha!

Eh. Sue me, I’m a figment of Jonathan’s imagination.

Ok, I’ve given it a few days, taken a brief hiatus from the intensity of the imminent, yet immanent, issue at hand, intimacy. “Why?” you ask, well I wanted to collect my thoughts, see if it was just a passing odd, fanciful, or capricious idea or topic.  But to my gratification and even great merriment, my focussed (yes it is spelled correctly, it is just a variation of the typical form of spelling it focused, I just like the curious way of spelling it this way) any way, yes my mental prowess have remained converged on the central matter at hand.  In fact, it has not only remained upon the subject matter, but it has extended in both scope and range. 

As I have reflected deeply on the subject, much like a bovine who ruminates on their pasturage, I have asked myself why the riveted attention on sex, as in my previous post.  Hmmm … well quite frankly I don’t feel that the previous post was sex centered, but all the while, there was a reason for its discussion.  You see, for me, the culmination, or climax if you will (pun definitely intended), of intimacy is sex.  Now not the kind of sex that you can see flippantly displayed for all to see along the freeways of our American portion of our terra firma, or broadcasted over the now high definition airwaves.  No, I am referring to the act of two, not only consenting, but desiring souls, converging into one.  I call that making love, but that too has digressed to culturally be merely defined as “sex.”  But before I divagate to the cultural woes and loss of clarity in our didactic cognitions and frames of reference, I want to clarify . . . for me, making love, whether it is between blankets or while walking though the autumn leaves that blanket the ground at the nearby park hand in hand, yes making love is the culmination of intimacy, when two become one.

Over the course of human existence, we hominian beings tend to sophisticate, that is not necessarily to we make thing better, but we tend to make things less natural or distorted, take for instance as a gross example the matter of urban sprawl.  That being a normative example though, we tend to find counterfeit substitutions for an original e.g. the tremendous excitement caused by a chemical substance in place of genuine joy or even credit for riches; we often take what seems plausible in our own mind’s eye but in the end lead down a sorrow filled pathway.  These spurious ways have blindly led many to ruin.  Sex has become cheapened to the point that many attempt to find fulfillment in fantasized images leading to the objectification of their counterpart. Fantasy nor objectifying an individual will not lead to intimacy; it only leads to heartache for the perpetrator and also the individual that has been exploited, ill-used, and quite honestly … victimized.  I know of many, countless, examples of individuals who have expressed with great disgust the sickening discounted feelings they are left with after some perve “checks them out” from head to toe, maybe even with a wry smile parking their penetrating eyes on their victims nether regions.  Hominids for eons have tended to malign one another for the sake of our own pleasures, even if it leads them to futile emptiness.  This cheapening has led to a faulty understanding of sex yes, but more grievous than that, an erroneous understanding of intimacy.

What does intimacy look like in relationship to friends or lovers? How would one recognize such ethereal behaviors? Is it in fact ethereal or “of another world”? Is such a practice, exemplified anywhere throughout the annals of time in this world or some other? These types of questions I purpose to address within these next few posts.  They are of critical importance as intimacy is, or should be, the goal within flourishing relationships.  In fact, I would say that it is impossible to have a thriving fulfilling relationship and NOT be intimate.  Intimacy, remember I am not saying that to be intimate you must be sexually active, quite the contrary actually, so again, intimacy is continually yearned for and occasionally achieved.   These question plus the limiting factors of intimacy we will be exploring together.

Ever since Leon popped up, there’s not been much I could do to fulfill my Chaotic Evil obligations of leading Jonathan down the dark side. (Dun dun duun.) But I have been able to instruct him to lie like a lawyer. It’s so effective, the only place it won’t work is in a court of law- because there’s another lawyer in it.

First, when asked a question, misinterpret it in any way you can such that you can lie.

It is much easier to deceive a learned person than a fool. A learned person will be able to assume things with the information you give them.

Imagine a room full of darkness. Illuminate your target with choice information- but make sure you’re not lying. Let’s say that the man wants to know if you have a pet dog. You do not have a dog. You can show him a collar, a doggie bowl, and a leash- assuming of course, that they are actually in the room. You must not lie. He will think you have a dog, but you don’t. I mean, what rational man would keep a collar, a doggie bowl, and a leash if he does not have a dog? Of course, the dog could have died- so you can tell the man about things that used to be true. Of course, you might be getting a dog- so you can tell him about the things that you think might happen. If you will never have a dog, you could be keeping them there for some sort of sick fetish. I’ll rephrase a saying: Sometimes the truth is harder to believe than a lie.

Rely on that to lie- without lying, of course.

Malign Ferxist

Hi, this is Jonathan. I just want to clarify something- my works here are completely fiction. We are not real. The other Ferxists are figments of my imagination- imaginary friends, if you will, but I’m not sure that I would call them friends. However, we exist. I will explain later. Mr Malign Ferxist will take over from here until the end of this post.

Just to clear this up, we are not related. We all use the same pseudosurname to identify ourselves on the internet. I like cats, especially when I get a knife, chloroform, a gas mask, an insulated locked room, and nobody around. In fact, I likes everyone, under the same circumstances.

You see, I believe that this world is damned anyway. There will be an apocalypse, and in the meantime, people suffer. I only want to help by ending their pain in advance. I like making it as quick as possible- I’m not a deranged madman who thirsts for blood. A simple slit of the throat. No need to dishonor their bodies, unless they truly deserve it- and in most of the people I have met, they deserved it. You should see them now- perfectly preserved in my photographs of their fresh corpses, and in huge tanks filled with ethyl alcohol. I can’t afford anything other than pictures and ethyl alcohol to preserve them. If I run out of space, I give them a proper burial (although it’s twelve feet below ground instead of the regular), but first I cut off their hands and keep them. I like to know that each and every single one of those people is an individual. All sinners like me. Someday I’m going to commit suicide once I’ve exterminated evil men from this world, because I know that I myself am evil for having done such abominable acts.

You have no idea what it’s like to kill a man. I can’t describe it, you would never understand until you tried it for yourself. You have no idea what it’s like to see them helpless, like they’re already dead as they lie on the floor- but surely Jonathan would kill me for describing this in more detail. You can see more in the book that we might publish. Mind you, I might put some of my pictures in. I warn you, it can gag you. Imagine watching 2 girls 1 cup, only with twice the horror.

Malign Ferxist

Based off a dream I had this morning.

Jehu: Do you have the keycard?

Jason: Yeah.

Jehu: Dude, if you’re going to do it, you have to do it now. There are teachers everywhere!

Jason: What are they going to do Jehu? Suspend me?

Jehu: More like, suspend us. We might even get expelled!

Jason: So what dude? This school is screwed up! The whole administration has some kind of creepy vibe going on between them.

Jehu: If you’re going to open the door do it!

Jason stopped and stared at the door. His whole world went into slow motion for a brief moment. He was about to do what no student had dared do before:

Find The Truth.

Unsure of what exactly the truth was, he knew it was in there. It was something powerful… something revolutionary… something life changing. And whatever it was, he had to know. He turned to gaze down the long hallway he and his nervous friend had just walked. It was time to break in. He slid his freshly stolen keycard into the card slot.

DENIED

He tried it again.

DENIED

Jehu: Is it working?

Jason: What do you think doofus?

Jehu: I think a lot of things. And you know what I’m thinking now? I’m thinking we should get out of here!

Jason: It should be working.

Jehu: Well apparently it’s not!

Jason: What are they hiding?

Teacher: HEY! YOU TWO!

Jehu: Ah, crap! Now you’ve gone and done it!

Teacher: COME HERE NOW!

Jason looked around. They were now trapped between the mystical Door Of Truth and the angry teacher at the end of the long hall. The way he saw it, they had two options. Option number one was to do a front flip through the wall of glass on his left as he had seen done by his favorite movie actor. Option number two was a little more reasonable and required running as fast as he could and knocking over the angry teacher in the process. He had never had that particular teacher before so hopefully he would forget his face.

Jehu: I can’t believe I let you talk me into this.

Jason: Follow my lead.

Jehu: Yeah, a lot of good that has done us so far! Wait, what are you doing?

Jason took off down the hall like a bull. He plowed his head into the teacher knocking him over and then took off to his classroom. Jehu noted that this was his moment as well and raced down the hall after Jason. The two of them made it to their classroom, although their tardiness was quite notable.

Miss Heschel: Glad to see you made it boys, you’re only half an hour late today.

Jehu: Yeah, sorry Miss Heschel. We were a little preoccupied with stupidity.

Miss Heschel: Well perhaps if you made it to class a little more often that wouldn’t be a problem. Anyways, your assignment for today is to—

*knock*knock*knock*

Miss Heschel: Hold that thought…

Miss Heschel walked over to answer the door, just to find the principal standing there. She walked outside the classroom and shut the door as the two of them conversed for a moment. Jehu and Jason looked at each other.

Jehu: I told you we shouldn’t have done it!

Jason: Chill dude. We don’t even know that he’s here for us. Maybe he just needs to talk to the teacher.

Jehu: You better hope so, because if I get kicked off campus Mom and Dad are going to kill me!

Miss Heschel: Class, go ahead and put your books away. Mr. Malign needs to talk to you.

Mr. Malign: Good evening class. I wish our meeting was under different circumstances, however, it has just been reported to me that two young men just tried to break into a highly confidential office. Now I don’t suppose that any of you in here would know anything about that would you?

Now in a normal class, everyone would turn to stare at young Jason and Jehu. However, the students at Mumbles High were different than those of the norm. It’s not that they didn’t expect the two boys had committed the crime, it was more that Mr. Malign is not a force to be reckoned with and no student would submit another into his grip. Many students already had experienced his wrath and were unable to speak of what had happened. Not because they were sworn to secrecy, but because it had just been that horrifying for them.

And it wasn’t just Mr. Malign who scared the students. All of the teachers at Mumbles High had a certain creepiness to them. All of them except Miss Heschel that is. They hadn’t always been that way, however. Earlier in their careers many of the teachers had been much like Miss Heschel—kind and sweet. But over time their personalities had changed. It seemed that the more the teachers were around the principal, the darker their lives became. And then this evil would take off like a virus. The more of a bond the teachers developed with each other, the creepier they became. Granted the change happened slowly, it was quite obvious that it was happening.

Mr. Mailgn: Jehu, you appear to be sweating a little bit. Is there something you’d like to tell me?

Jehu: I, uh…. What?

Mr. Malign: Were you in class five minutes ago?

Jehu: Well, I was… um…

Jason: I’m the one you’re looking for.

Mr. Malign: Ah yes, the great Jason. My haven’t we had many run-ins lately, haven’t we?

Jason: What is behind that door?

Mr. Malign: That information is none of your business.

Jason: I feel like it is all of my business.

Mr. Malign: Well I’m afraid your feelings are untrustworthy.

Jason: In this school my feelings are the only thing I can trust! Now what could you possibly care so much about that you have to lock it up in that room? What are you keeping from us?

Mr. Malign: SHUT UP!

Jason: NO! Not until you come out and say it!

Mr. Malign: What is in that room young man, is of a threat to everyone in this building! I will listen to no more of your foolish talk! You may now follow me to my office!

Jason: I can’t be the only one who wonders! Listen class, every time I walk by that hallway my hair stands up, as if there is something that we can’t even imagine being stored behind that door. For two years that has happened!

Student: I’ve felt that feeling too.

Student: Me too.

The class began whispering to each other. A few agreed with Jason and shared similar stories while still many others had no idea what he was talking about.

Mr. Malign: QUIET!!!

Jason: I am not alone on this Mr. Malign! There are plenty throughout this school that you will have to shut up with me.

Mr. Malign: If you will not be quiet, then I will force you to be!

A strange thing happened in that moment. Something very unexpected. Something that even a best friend would not believe you if you retold the story to him or her. In Mr. Malign’s hand, a small orange ball began to develop. It appeared to be made out of some kind of energy or power. The ball grew slightly bigger and then the principal threw it full force at Jason. In a split second decision, Jehu threw his hand in front of Jason in attempts to catch the ball. The ball of energy bounced off of his hand and bounced around the classroom until finally bouncing into a girl. And then another strange thing happened. When it hit her she shrunk to about half her size. Jason looked at the girl, and then at Jehu. The class began to chatter loudly.

Student: What just happened?

Student: Did you see that?

Student: That doesn’t make any sense!

Mr. Malign: LET THAT BE A LESSON TO ALL OF YOU! Miss Heschel, this is your class, now take control of them! I want to see Jason and Jehu in my office by the end of the class period!

The principal stormed out of the room.

Miss Heschel: Alright class, I want those of you who have felt these feelings around this door to stay and those of you who have not to leave.

Many of the students left the classroom leaving Jason, Jehu and seven others to stay and talk with Miss Heschel. The teacher took a seat on her desk in the front of the classroom.

Miss Heschel: So you are the nine who care.

Jason: Miss Heschel, please don’t take them all down to Mr. Malign’s office. I’m the one who is in trouble here.

Miss Heschel: Oh, I plan to do quite the contrary Jason.

Jason: You do?

Miss Heschel: Yes. I plan on telling you what is behind that door.

Silence.

Miss Heschel: Behind that door is a great power.

Jehu: Like the kind that Mr. Malign just used?

Miss Heschel: No Jehu. It’s different than that. The power that Mr. Malign just used finds its source in evil. The power behind that door is far more powerful than the one that he just used.

Student: Then why does he keep it locked up? Wouldn’t he want to use that power instead?

Miss Heschel: He can’t use it. The power behind that door originates from a source that is pure good. While the evil inside of your principal may crave the power behind that door, that power’s goodness will not allow itself to be used by him.

Student: Ever?

Miss Heschel: Well, perhaps if he got rid of the powers he now has and then genuinely turned his life around for the sake of the good power and spent his life serving it.

Student: Sounds like that power is picky.

Miss Heschel: Hey, evil is willing to inhabit anyone. Good actually cares.

Jason: Well then where is his evil power located?

Miss Heschel: Well, we’re all born into evil. Some people pursue it further and develop the powers it has while others just live their lives in it.

Jehu: But I know plenty of good people who don’t know about this power!

Miss Heschel: That’s true Jehu, but those people are missing out on what makes them truly different from the rest of the world. They have still been born into evil and continue to live in it whereas those who live for the good power get their lives wiped clean of evil, which is completely different.

Jason: You know an awful lot about this power Miss Heschel.

Miss Heschel: I am one of the few who live for this power. And now you, Jason, have looked for this power and the good news is that it has been looking for you, too. Now, the question for you and the rest who stayed is this. Are you willing to give your life over for this power? Will you dedicate yourselves to living for it?

In that moment Miss Heschel had asked her students the heaviest question of their lives. This question was powerful… revolutionary… life changing. The students looked at each other and then at the same time, all nine of them agreed to dedicate their lives to this power. Instantly the secure door that held the power flung open and the energy contained inside raced towards the classroom. Then what appeared to look like tongues of fire flashed across the air and into the student’s bodies. The ten of them were radiating and clothed in white.

Miss Heschel: Now students, there is something we need to take care of. Mr. Malign has embraced enough evil that he has gained actual power from it as you witnessed earlier. Now you must know that the power inside of you is more than enough to rid him of his own, however, your power needs your help to do its work. You must allow it to work through you. Now follow me.

The ten walked outside to find the principal standing on the roof of the school with the night sky behind him. Although it was dark out, the students illuminated the area. Mr. Malign knew what was going on and he knew he was outnumbered. Quickly, the other teachers joined him and it was now evident that they too shared in the evil power he had. It was now thirty-seven against ten.

Mr. Malign: Miss Heschel, I see that you have disobeyed me.

Miss Heschel: Mr. Malign, do you realize what you’ve become?

Mr. Malign: That I do! And you know what else? I like it!

Miss Heschel: And do you recognize the power inside of me and these students?

Mr. Malign: My dear, your power may be stronger than mine, but you are clearly outnumbered.

Miss Heschel: Our strength is not completely measured in numbers Mr. Malign! The power inside myself is enough to wipe you all out! Yet we stand firm, strong and united to rid you of that which opposes us!

Mr. Malign then began to create another one of those orange balls of electricity as all the teachers joined in to make it larger. The ball grew quickly and was soon the size of a three story house. Miss Heschel turned to her students.

Miss Heschel: Students! You must believe in the power you have! I cannot overemphasize this point! You must believe! You must believe! You must believe! It does not matter how big of a battle this will be or the number of the enemy! With the power you now have you will win, BUT YOU MUST BELIEVE!

And so those who embraced evil threw all the ammunition they had at those who embraced good. The giant ball of energy descended from the rooftop at the students below as Miss Heschel’s words rang through their ears:

You must believe!

You must believe!

You must believe!

YOU MUST BELIEVE!

The energy hit the students and Miss Heschel to the ground and no one could see through the smoke it left. The teachers and Mr. Malign moved off of the roof to see the devastation. The ten of them laid on the ground as the teachers moved about the crater the energy had left. One of the teachers checked Miss Heschel for a pulse.

Teacher: She’s dead.

All of the students were dead as well. As Mr. Malign turned to congratulate his fellow teachers, what felt like a hand reached inside of his back. He turned his head as far as he could just to see Miss Heschel standing behind him.

Miss Heschel: Even death cannot stop the power I serve.

With that said, she ripped out of him the orange energy inside of him. The students then stood up as well and together they relieved the teachers of their power. They all sat on the ground unable to move, surprised at what had just happened.

Miss Heschel: Listen to me all of you! You have been given another chance to live again! Right now you still live in evil, but I am giving you the opportunity to serve that of which I do. You no longer have to be bound to your old selves! You can leave the past behind and live life for the better! I tell you that even what you have just done can be forgiven! Join us now and together we can leave evil behind!

In that moment Miss Heschel had asked the teachers the heaviest question of their lives. This question was powerful… revolutionary… life changing.

I weekenden forsøgte lægerne så at fjerne svulsten. Og det viste sig at være langt lettere end frygtet.

Svulsten var nemlig i virkeligheden et lille håndklæde, som nogle andre læger havde ‘glemt’, da de i 1983 havde opereret den samme mand for et mindre mavesår.

I de 25 år håndklæden havde ligge i patientens mave, var det blevet dækket at et slimlag. Og det var dette udseende, der havde fået de nye læger til at stille den skræmmende diagnose.

Den glade og kræftfri japaner er nu hjemme. Og han overvejer at anlægge sag imod det første hospital.
