Lamps, tables & lentil soup

What a lovely weekend I just had! I’ve been working hard on my first commission for a lamp (an absolutely gorgeous old liquer bottle with lots of roses on it), found the perfect table for my hallway for the princely sum of £10 (it’s a 1950s-style telephone table… just needs a lick of paint) and made lentil and bacon soup. 142 more words

Forget everything I just said about Manchester United getting better and stronger.

Because they just lost to Leicester City, one of the poorer, less talented teams in England’s top league, by 5 goals to 3!
