<strong>प्राज्ञं कुलीनं शूरं च दक्षं दातारमेव च।<br />
कृतज्ञः धुतिमंत च कष्टमाहुररि बुधाः।।<br />
हिंदी में भावार्थ-</strong>बुद्धिमान, कुलीन, शूरवीर, चतुर, धर्मात्मा, धैर्यवान, तथा कृतज्ञ व्यक्ति पर विजय पाना कठिन है। ऐसे व्यक्ति से संधि कर लेना चाहिए।<br />
<strong>वर्तमान संदर्भ में संपादकीय-</strong>अनेक अवसर पर क्रोध अथवा विवाद के कारण आदमी अपनी बुद्धि पर नियंत्रण खो बैठता है और यही उसके लिये आपत्ति का कारण बनता है। क्रोध या निराशा की स्थिति क्षणिक और जीवन बहुत लंबा होता है। इसलिये अवसाद के क्षणों में भी बुद्धिमान, वीर, चतुर, धर्मात्मा तथा धैर्य धारण करने वाले व्यक्ति से विवाद मोल नहीं लेना चाहिये। जीवन में पता नहीं कम किस के सहयोग की आवश्यकता पड़ जाये। क्रोध और निराशा के क्षणिक आवेग में सुयोग्य व्यक्ति से बैर लेना भविष्य में उससे मिलने वाले सहयोग की अपेक्षाओं को समाप्त करना है। जब कोई आपत्ति आती है तब उससे निपटने के लिये योजनाबद्ध तरीके से निपटने के लिये कार्यक्रम बनाना, साधन जुटाना तथा नियत समय पर कार्यवाही करने के लिये जिस बौद्धिक चातुर्य की आवश्यकता होती है उसकी पूर्ति के लिये सुयोग्य व्यक्तियों का साथ होना जरूरी है। ऐसे लोगों के साथ हमेशा अच्छा व्यवहार रखना चाहिये।<br />
अनेक लोगों को यह भ्रम होता है कि धनी, प्रतिष्ठित तथा बाहूबली लोगों के साथ मित्रता होने से ही सारे संकट दूर हो जायेंगे तो यह उनका भ्रम है। कुछ लोग तो ऐसे लोगों की संगत में शांतिप्रिय, धैयैवान तथा बुद्धिमान लोगों से बैर भी लेते हैं पर जब विपत्ति आती है तो उन्हें ऐसे ही लोगों की आवश्यकता होती है। यही कारण है कि जीवन में अपने मित्र और सहयोगियों के संग्रह करते समय इस बात को अवश्य देखना चाहिये कि वह न केवल सुयोग्य हों बल्कि समय आपने पर मददगार भी हों। इसके लिये उनके साथ हमेशा सौहार्दपूर्ण संबंध रखें। गुणवान आदमी से संपर्क रखने&#160; से अपने अन्दर भी उस जैसे गुण विकसित होता&#160;&#160;हैं।<br />

<p>One must cover both his upper and lower body while eating. One must not take bath entirely naked. One must not urinate by the side of a path, or over ashes, or in a cattle shed. It is obvious why one must not urinate by the side of the path. Ashes and Cow-dung (cow-urine) are known to have other good uses. It should not be contaminated by human urine.

<p>The results of the deeds of cruelty (against dharma the code of life) are not immediately apparent unlike the benefits of domesticating a cow (you get milk on day one). Slowly the effects of mis-deeds surround the doer and cut the very roots of the source. Perpetrating cruelty will always end in the destruction of the culprit.
