Já montamos a nossa este ano. Ao som do bom e velho jingle bells, as meninas se acabaram de tanto pendurar as bolinhas.

Até o Beto entrou na dança e colocou seu enfeite.

E depois do banho, terminaram a decoração com a estrela, que significa esperança de um ano novo melhor!

Aí ligamos as luzes do pisca-pisca  e ficamos observando: como é puro o espírito natalino em uma criança,né?

No dia seguinte, a Rafa decidiu escrever a carta do papai noel e colocou ela na árvore para o doende vir retirá-la. Hoje quando percebeu que a carta não estava mais lá deu vários pulinhos de alegria e ligou correndo para contar para o pai que o papai noel já estava com a cartinha dela.

 E por falar em natal já está na hora de preparar meus cartões deste ano, e os calendários também…

Radio Bemba Sound System is a live album by Manu Chao that was released in 2002. It is the accompanying CD to the performer’s live DVD Babylonia en Guagua, filmed over two nights (4–5 September) in 2001 during the tour for Proxima Estacion: Esperanza. Passamos da metade do Antigo Testamento! Hoje estudaremos um pouquinho do 20° livro da Bíblia: PROVÉRBIOS.

Provérbios é diferente de todos os outros livros da Bíblia!

A sabedoria dele alcança todas as áreas da vida: trabalho, casamento, amizade, dinheiro, honestidade, integridade e atitudes. Além disso, diz que a pessoa que se recusa a ser guiada por esses princípios é louca.

No Novo Testamento, Jesus usou os conceitos e métodos de Provérbios em seus ensinamentos, especialmente nas parábolas que contou e em sua interação com os ouvintes. O apóstolo Pedro mostrou seu conhecimento de Provérbios em sua primeira epístola; Paulo também os usou em seus escritos.

A natureza de Provérbios sugere que, diferentemente de livros mais uniformes, podemos ler os Provérbios e meditar neles separadamente. Porém, eles são parte de uma perspectiva global de uma vida sábia sob a mão de Deus.

Há alguma área de sua vida na qual precisa de conselhos? Existe um provérbio para você! Reserve um tempo e desfrute deste livro prático.

Você está em uma fase muito gostosa e está virando uma companheira de todos os momentos! Tagarela constante, me emociona e me orgulha quando diz muito obrigada até para pequenas coisas.

Ficamos juntinhas por 24 hrs. Você tem dormido beeeem melhor! De vez em quando ainda acorda na madrugada para pedir uma mamadeira. Mas é raro isto acontecer. O mais comum é uma mamadeira às 6:30 da manhã.

Passeamos pelo bairro, levamos e buscamos a Rafa na escola todos os dias. Vamos ao mercado juntas e você está mesmo uma mocinha.

Você e sua irmã estão na fase da disputa e brigam bastante, mas eu sei que é normal quando vocês ficarem adultas passa,né?

Suas calcinhas de 2 anos não servem mais e as da Rafa de 4 anos ainda ficam grandinhas. Vou ter que providenciar calcinhas tamanho 3. 

Você também está com uma mania de vestir as roupas e sapatos de sua irmã. E lá vamos nós com aquele sapatão 7 números maior no seu pé. Sem contar as roupas que quando você cisma ninguém tira. Ontem mesmo você desfilou com um vestido que quase arrastava no chão.

Adormece sozinha no sofá da sala pelas 9 horas da noite. Só que as vezes faz uma exigência: massagem em seus pés. E olha que o massagista tem que ser seu pai obrigatoriamente.

Quando está muuuito brava começa a bufar pelo nariz, mas comigo não funciona. Ainda perde o folego quando chora, mas como isso nunca foi um problema para nós, logo logo você volta a respirar  chorar.

Também está com mania de protestar em seu quarto. Quando é contrariada sai correndo em direção a sua cama e lá fica por alguns momentos.

O ano que vem estará na escola e uma nova fase começará em nossas vidas. Por enquanto vamos curtindo os últimos meses conectadas durante todo o dia.

E está é você, Manuela aos 2 anos e 4 meses e 20 dias de vida.

Boa tarde queridos! Li esse texto e gostaria de compartilhar com vocês!

As promessas do Senhor são confiáveis e infalíveis. Entretanto, muitas pessoas que enfrentam situações difíceis enquanto esperam que aquilo que Deus prometeu cumpra-se em sua vida, costumam perguntar: “Por que as promessas do Senhor não se realizam da maneira como desejamos, e no tempo que achamos ideal, propício?”. Elas não entendem porque às vezes as circunstâncias caminham na contramão das vitórias que Deus prometeu.

Quando você estiver passando por adversidades, lembre-se de que “todas as coisas contribuem juntamente para o bem daqueles que amam a Deus, daqueles que são chamados pelo seu decreto”.

 Mesmo que a vida delineie diante de você um panorama de adversidades, de contradições, de situações conflitantes e difíceis, mantenha-se firme na fé, jamais duvide das promessas e da fidelidade do Senhor.

Continue confiante no plano de Deus para sua vida, mesmo sentindo que uma forte ventania e uma grande tempestade o têm envolvido. De acordo com as promessas de Deus, era para estar soprando uma brisa suave. Mas não se deixe abalar. Se o vento é fortíssimo e atrapalha a sua caminhada, não se esqueça de que você tem promessas de Deus, e que Suas promessas não falham. Tudo o que está acontecendo agora é circunstancial, é momentâneo. As dificuldades cessarão.

Mesmo que você esteja debaixo da correção de Deus, não deve esquecer que o Senhor é bom, e que as suas misericórdias duram para sempre. 

As promessas do Senhor são infalíveis. Espere com fé, pois Ele não se esqueceu de você.

As circunstâncias adversas que surgem antes que as promessas de Deus se cumpram têm que ser consideradas segundo a ótica de Deus, e não segundo a visão limitada do ser humano. Não sabemos nem temos a capacidade de pensar como Deus. Somente após uma entrega total de nossa vida a Jesus é que poderemos “ter a mente de Cristo”. Só então entenderemos porque a vontade de Deus prevalece acima das contradições da vida. 

“Assim diz o Senhor: Não temas… Quando passares pelas águas estarei contigo, e quando pelos rios, ele não te submergirão; quando passares pelo fogo, não te queimarás, nem a chama arderá em ti porque eu sou o Senhor teu Deus, o teu Salvador”.

Que a paz de Cristo transborde sua semana.

Siden de andre (Maria og Anniken) allerede har vært flink og blogget om turen vår til Bergen, har jeg nå funnet ut at det er på tide at også jeg skriver kort om turen vår dit. Kort fortalt trengte jeg og Maria en liten avkobling før eksamenstiden tok av, og derfor tok vi turen til Bergen hvor vi bodde hos Anniken og Vegard. Her fikk jeg muligheten til å tørke meg med en Liverpool håndduk etter hver eneste dusj, og for anledningen valgte Vegard å henge opp skjerfet sitt også slik at jeg ikke skulle gå glipp av at han er Liverpool fan –> æsj! Det gjorde ikke hans humør dårligere at kampen mellom Liverpool og ManU den helgen gikk i hans favør, selv om det bør poengteres at det ser ut til at Liverpool er ute av CL og ManU ligger, til tross for tap mot Liverpool og Chelsea (begge på bortebane) over Liverpool på tabellen. I allefall sist jeg sjekket. Uansett, som en takk for gesten valgte jeg å tegne et hjerte i speilet på badet med ManU i, selvfølgelig. Noe måtte jeg jo legge igjen etter mitt besøk

Her kommer i allefall et lite utvalg av aktivitetene vi tok for oss når vi var i regnets hovedstad. Faktisk bør det poengteres at det nesten ikke regnet noe mens vi var der, så på den måten kan man si at Bergen viste seg fra sin beste side…

Vi fikk også muligheten til å møte Lennart, Silje og Mabelle igjen – de har vi ikke sett siden Singapore faktisk. Eller, Lennart var en snartur i Stavanger for en tid tilbake siden, men Silje og Mabelle var lenge siden. Sist jeg så Mabelle var hun så liten at hun lå og krabbet rundt på gulvet vårt i leiligheten i Singapore. Nå var hun i hundre og jaget måser, duer og gjengen vi var sammen med. Tiden flyr virkelig dere…

Had thought of writing about a ManU victory.

Liverpool won though, and as always it was Torres who proved that if it were not for his fitness problems, he would be out and out the most feared forward in the world. If we look at the conversion rate of clear chances into goals, he must be amongst the top.

Also, over the weekend, Xabi Alonso scored 2 goals for Spain, further bringing agony to Benitez’s already disturbed sleep. With Liverpool near the middle of the table, people have begun to doubt whether the Anfield club has what it takes to maintain a sustained challenge. With Stevie and El Nino out, the team has looked as if it were a mid-table club. The Anfield loyal are still there though, and always will be it seems. And when Gerrard gets back, the club will put all doubters to rest. However, the issue remains that Liverpool need a big player, a midfielder, who can replace what Xavi Alonso used to do. During his time at Anfield, Alonso was never given enough respect for what he contributed to the team, because all the attention was lavished on Gerrard and Torres along with the defensive unit marshaled by Carragher. Now even Gerrard has admitted that selling Alonso was a huge loss for Liverpool, one which the club is yet to make up for since Aquilani has been unable to get his fitness up and running just yet.

However, there is still hope, more than half the season is still left. However, Chelsea’s bench-strength will ensure that they always finish in the top 3. ManU will be somewhere there, however, it is Arsenal which is turning out to be the fairytale which finally is coming true.

During the past few seasons, Arsenal has always promised so much and delivered so little. A club which is so rich in young talent, with the likes of Fabregas already being considered a veteran.  The forward line has the likes of the prolific Van Persie, Eduardo, Bendtner, not to mention a talent such as Vela who is yet to make a place for himself on the starting line-up. A midfield constituting Fabregas, Arshavin, Nasri, Rosicky, on the creative side, Theo Walcott, to ravage the right wing. And a ‘so-called’ defensive line of Sagna, Vermaelen, Gallas, Gibbs, who score more goals combined than the forward line of some clubs. The team has finally shown signs of emulating the Arsenal sides which used to have Viera, Pires, Henry showing that they can score against any opposition doing nothing but just dancing on the field.

If it were left to me to pick a side which would win the Premiership this season, it would be Arsenal. That’s how high I rate their current crop of youngsters.  Let us see how they shape up in the remainder of the season.

A year from today (approximately), on Saturday November 13, 2010, I hope to be stepping off a plane and breathing in the humid, tropical air of Peru. As regular readers know, I have been offered an opportunity to travel with Kolibri Expeditions to southeastern Peru. The trip is an 8 day birding tour of the lowland rainforests adjacent to Manu National Park. My particular departure will start on the Saturday, and wrap up on the following Sunday, just prior to the American Thanksgiving. I’m hoping to entice a few adventurous birders, bloggers or travelers to join me on what should be an exciting trip. We ideally need 5 people, besides myself, to make the trip a go (the trip could run with fewer, but individual costs would be higher).

The tour will be visiting areas associated with the Amarakaeri communal reserve next to the national park. The Peruvians who live in these communities are poor, and the primary source of income currently is through exploitation of the local natural resources: logging, mining, and oil. Kolibri Expeditions is working with these communities to develop ecotourism as a viable sustainable alternative to non-renewable resource extraction. Although the natural resources are more lucrative in the short term, it is hoped that the communities will embrace the long-term benefits of preserving the ecosystems for tourism. Ecotourism would also have the effect of encouraging the natural resource extraction operations that are already taking place to become more eco-conscious, as they will be under greater scrutiny from an environmentally-minded crowd.

The Kolibri trips will serve a dual purpose. The first is that a contribution from each traveler’s tour fees will go directly to the community for use in developing facilities and training local workers. Currently the infrastructure in the Amarakaeri communities is minimal – these won’t be 5-star lodges you’ll be staying at on the trip. Previous tours have camped in school shelters, for instance. Obviously it’s difficult to promote ecotourism to affluent countries when the facilities are rustic (by the visitor’s standards) at best. And yet, it’s hard to get enough money to be able to afford to upgrade the infrastructure without the tourists coming in. Kolibri has been working hard to help contribute toward the necessary funds for the projects. If every tour currently scheduled on the webpage for this trip goes out with 5 participants, a total of $5000 will be raised for the communities.

The second effort that Kolibri has been making with this trip is promotion of the region as a destination for birding. This is a large part of the reason for inviting bloggers on to the tour. The agreement is that the bloggers will post about it preceding, during, and after the trip. Kolibri is in the process of working out satellite internet service that would allow the blogger to “live-blog” the trip from the rainforest, providing a day-by-day report of the latest highlights, and then following it up with a more complete summary after the trip. If tour participants also happen to be bloggers, they would receive a $100 discount on the price of the trip in exchange for at least one post-trip report on their own blog (honestly, though: if you were going on such an amazing trip, how could you possibly not post about it upon your return, $100 incentive or no?).

The Amarakaeri Communal Reserve is a 402,335 ha area that was designated as protected land in 2002. It is part of a conservation corridor that includes protected areas from Bolivia and Brazil. ParksWatch, an international non-profit based out of Duke University that helps assess Central and South American parks to advise park management decisions, designates the Reserve as Threatened, meaning that under current trends and practices there is a high risk of failure in the park’s ability to conserve and maintain current biodiversity levels over the medium-term future. Current factors affecting the Reserve’s viability include gold mining, illegal logging, and human pressures such as hunting and forest resource collection (eg., palm fronds) by a population increasing through migration.

Although the macro-fauna and -flora of the area is fairly well-documented, there has been very little research undertaken in the Reserve to either study the local macro-species in more depth, or to document more of the micro-species. An advantage of a strong ecotourism industry and the facilities necessary to support it is that often research institutions such as universities or museums will use lodges as a base for local research operations, especially when first beginning to explore and research new areas. By establishing a good infrastructure in the area, it may encourage more research on the local species and habitats.

Hoje estudaremos um pouco sobre o livro de SALMOS.

Ao ler os salmos, aprendemos a expressar todos os tipos de emoções para Deus: vibrar de alegria ao sair de um aperto; clamar ao sentir-se abandonado; expressar dúvida e desespero quando a vida o oprime; agradecer a Deus por Ele nunca nos esquecer.

Desfrute dos diferentes tipos de salmos!

Os salmos são poesias, por isso estão repletos de metáforas e de recursos poéticos. Outras vezes expressam sentimentos sublimes que possivelmente você já experimentou, mas não foi capaz de expressar em palavras.

Alguns dos salmos de lamentações soam extremamente vingativos. Contudo, eles também demontram um anseio pela retidão e pela justiça.

Quando a justiça não for feita, é melhor queixar-se com Deus (que pode fazer alguma coisa) em vez de tomar a questão nas próprias mãos. E se você não experimentou a perseguição que o povo de Israel sofreu, não pode compreender a mágoa e a ira deles.

Aproximadamente metade dos salmos foi escrito por Davi; Asafe, Salomão, Moisés e alguns autores anônimos escreveram ao longo de vários séculos. Os salmos se tornaram importantes nos cultos judeus de adoração.

Que você tenha uma noite de paz, não se esquecendo de orar uns pelos outros.

Bei unseren Freunden von der Insel im Norden ist es ja nicht wie in der Bundesliga oder der spanischen Priomera Division, dass nur an den Wochenenden gespielt wird. Nein, dort wird taeglich gespielt. (Daher wohl auch der ausdruck: englische Woche, wenn unsere Profis 2x in der Woche ran muessen)

Am vergangenen Sonntag war es dann mal soweit! Ein sogenanntes spitzenspiel der englischen Premiere league stand auf dem programm: FC Chelsea mit Michael ballack gegen Manchaster United. Eigentlich meide ich ja die englischen Kneipen, abdeer ich dachte mir mal so ein Spitzenspiel anschauen kann ja nicht schaden! Also ging ich in eine der typischen Laeden in denen schon jede menge mehr oder weniger alkoholisierte Fans vorzufinden waren.

In einer Beziehung war das Spiel wirklich Spitze! Ich wusste nicht, dass man in 90 Minuten ca 250 Freistoesse schiessen kann! na gut, es waren keine 90 Minuten! Allein in der zweiten haelfte liess der Referee 7!! Minuten nachspielen. Ansonsten war nix mit Spitzenspiel! Es war ein treten, graetschen, mit beiden Beinen in den Gegner springen, spucken und beissen der uebelsten Art! Ich habe wirklich schon viele Spiele in diversen europaeischen Ligen gesehen, aber keines dass so schlecht war! In der gesamten Spielzeit war nicht ein einziger Spielzug zu sehen!

In der 76 Minute fiel dann auch das einzige Tor. Und wie wohl?? na klar Standartsituation. ein Freistoss wars. Und wer war beim Torjubel der Erste?? Michael Ballack! Es war auch seine erste Szene in der er auftauchte. Unser alter Freund Guenther Netzer haette wohl gesagt: ” Ballack? Ballack fand heute nicht statt”

Alles in allem ein sehr enttaeuschendes Spiel der beiden englischen Spitzenklubs! Und wohl auch fuer sehr sehr lange Zeit das letzte dass ich mir aus dieser Liga angeschaut haben werde! Dann doch lieber am Sonntag mittag in Las Americas vierte Liga live bei San Marino angeschaut! Da wird noch Leistung geboten!

Depois de quase 1 mês, minha irmã Fernanda me passou as fotos do meu aniversário! Aproveitei esses minutinhos livres para postar a que mais gostei!

Senhor Jesus, te agradeço pela paz e descanso que desfruto todas as noites ao me deitar para dormir.

Olá!

Os dias por aqui continuam bem corridos… Estou sentindo falta de escrever mais vezes por semana no blog… Mas arrumei um tempo entre as tarefas e o almoço para falar um pouquinho com vocês.

Há umas 2 semanas atrás, vi um filme muito lindo! Tudo acontecia no fundo mar! O peixe pai perdeu seu peixinho filho no oceano e ficou desesperado para resgatá-lo. Então, ele decidiu procurá-lo, e enfrentou o mar inteiro por ele: Tubarões ferozes, baleias, águas-viva, correntezas, tudo! Em alguns momentos o pai perdia as esperanças, em outros a reencontrava, chorou muitas vezes no caminho, ficou furioso, se alegrou, cantou, enfim, ele teve todos os sentimentos de alguém que luta por algo muito precioso. Quando finalmente ele reencontra seu filhote, parece que mais uma vez o mar ameaça tirá-lo, mas dessa vez tudo deu certo!

Ao longo de nossas vidas, enfrentamos tudo o que este guerreiro peixe pai enfrentou! Ás vezes até parece que o mar vai nos submergir e ficaremos sem respirar, mas a poderosa mão de Deus nos traz a tona para respirar e nos faz andar sobre as águas.

Não pare de lutar queridos! Não desanime! O Senhor te diz: Não temas, mesmo no vale da sombra da morte Eu estou contigo.

Nenhuma onda gigante, nenhuma tempestade, é maior que o nosso Senhor Jesus! Aleluia!

Denne helgen tapte laget mitt igjen, atter en gang mot erkerivalene Chelsea. Nå skal det sies at det var på Stamford, en arena som naturligvis er vanskelig. Nå skal det sies at vi for mange år siden brukte å ha brukbar kontroll der, men ikke de siste årene. Nå er det ikke det jeg vil ta opp, SAF må skjerpe seg. En gang i tiden gav han munnkurv til Solskjær fordi han uttalte seg litt for friskt, nå er det han selv som slenger med leppa titt og ofte etter en kamp ikke hargått i hans favør. Nå er jeg i grunnen enig med SAF om at dommeren tilsynelatende var ganske så hjemmevennlig, men det var da også situasjoner som skulle gått andre veien. Som f.eks. når Evans hoppet opp og stemplet Drogba i brystkassen. Dette ble det naturligvis ikke snakket om fra SAF’s side etter kampen.

Nå fikk jeg uheldigvis ikke med meg målet, så jeg skal ikke uttale meg om det, men når jeg ser Brown på bakken på bildene syntes jeg det ser rart ut. Det er sjeldent at akkurat han ligger på bakken og spreller uten at noe har skjedd. Uansett, gjort er gjort, og sesongen er langt fra over, men SAF må lære seg å vite når han skal holde kjeft. Det samme mente jeg om Ronaldo som titt og ofte lot munnen snakke i stedet for å la beina “snakke”. Nei, hold deg for god til dette, vi trenger deg på benken, ikke tribunen SAF.

I would be tricky for Man Utd considering the fact that they are away from home and Chelsea are on a roll.
