The criminal pair, been denounced at the end of March, when a resident of Bilbao, told local police that a highly valuable ring had been stolen from her home.

She said that her search for the missing piece had revealed other jewels were missing from her home too. Several days later, it emerged a similar suite of thefts had taken place at the daughter of the victim.

Police soon suspected a cleaning woman who worked at the houses of the two woman, who had been robbed was responsible for the crimes. They then established that her boyfriend was the fence in the operation.

Further investigations into the pair showed that they had already brought off most the stolen jewels at the same gold trading shop in Bilbao, including the a ring mounted with a diamond, which they gave away for €300.

The item’s actual value, was closer to €200,000.

The manager of the gold shop had managed to convince them that the stone was of little value.

According to the latest figures from the Spanish Industry, Energy and Tourism Ministry was spending tourists 3.28 billion Euros in March, which is 13.7 percent more than the same month last year. Tourists spent an average of 963 Euros on their holiday with an average consumption of 110 Euros per day, which corresponds to a growth of over five percent.

They spend most money

Most of the tourists came from UK, France, the Nordic countries and Germany, and the largest increase has been to holiday destinations in the Canary Islands and Catalonia.

In the first three months of 2013, total tourists spent 9.31 billionEuros, an increase of 8.4 percent compared to the first quarter last year. The three main markets in the first quarter of Germany (1.56 billion Euros), the UK (1.53 billion Euros) and Scandinavians placed 1.37 billion Euros – a significant increase of 19.1 percent.

Canary Islands, the region registered the largest tourist revenue by 3.16 billion Euros, representing an increase of seven percent compared to the same quarter last year.

This is followed by Catalonia with 1.99 billion Euros – an increase of 14.2 percent, and finally Andalusia with 1.25 billion Euros, representing an increase of 10.5 percent.

Norweigan hotel group invests in Nerja

He was found by a bailiff who went to the apartment to carry out the eviction, the High Court of Catalonia which issued the eviction notice said in a statement.

The latest trial over the murder of the 17 year old in Sevilla in January 2009, has ended with the judge filing the case after insufficient evidence was found against Francisco Javier Delgado, stepbrother of the self-confessed murderer and ex-boyfriend of Marta, Miguel Carcaño, now 24.

In his fourth year of a 21 year jail term, Carcaño recently came up with a seventh version of how Marta met her demise, this time blaming his stepbrother, who denies the charges.

Delgado was summoned, testified and the case immediately thrown out.

Marta’s body has never been found, with the accused giving four different stories as to where he put her after he killed her.

Antonio del Castillo said: “Judge Francisco de Asís Molina is no longer interested in finding out the truth, either he’s got bored with it or he doesn’t want to rock the boat of the so-called “justice system”, until now, I had an almost blind faith in justice, but what on earth has the judge been doing all this time?”

The grieving father adds that the police had their own “evaluations about the credibility” of those who testified in court, but that only the judge has the power to intervene.

“There are always those who ruin everyone else’s work, either through arrogance or incompetence. Yet the police have gone above and beyond the call of duty in searching for my daughter’s body. They’ve worked hours and hours of overtime, they’ve gone without sleep, they’ve taken their work home, they’ve had to neglect their families, they’ve worked bank holidays, they’ve got mud all over their uniforms, they’ve been freezing cold, rained on and suffered extreme heat. But justice is not blind and these arbitrators who are there to put things in order do absolutely nothing. They believe the words of a criminal more than those of the police and publicly condemn officers for going outside their jurisdiction in their search for the truth, since they, the judges, are not interested in the truth. Those in black gowns are considered superior and get to decide whether or not they try cases depending upon whether they feel like doing any work or whether they decide not to bother getting off their behinds, or whether they simply decide they don’t believe or don’t want to investigate the reports supplied by the police”.

He concludes by criticizing the fact that the judge has closed the case, without consulting either the family members of the victim or the police, simply because “they wanted to get shot of it as soon as they could”.

It says only those roads which come under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Public Works have any money spent on them at all and that even this is not enough.

The AEC says, a total of two per cent of the value of the roads should be invested in maintenance, which should be 1.6 billion in the case of the Ministry of Public Works, but that the department only spends one billion on highway repairs and some roads have not been repaired or maintained in over five years, enough for them to be totally deteriorated and as there is not the public funding available to carry out works that have now become much greater and more pressing.

Guardia Civil is investigating the incident after an eyewitness claimed to have seen a man “grab a child by the neck and throw him down the stairs of the hall during the screening, we heard a thud and then saw the child run to hide crying”.

The assault is said to have taken place when the boy left his seat to go to the toilet.
