Music is probably the only constant thing in my life that I truly love, besides my family and friends of course. I especially love music that hits me close home. It can be that I relate to the lyrics, that I know one of the artists personally or that there is a really, extra talented guitarist ( I love love love guitars ). In this particular post, its the lyrics that hold the meaning. There are two songs that I like at the moment that can more or less sum up my love life, and my position on love. They are Starstrukk by 3OH!3 and Boytoy Baby by Maria Mena. So here are the lyrics that I am dedicating to the two boys men in my life who just can’t seem to take a hint.

I managed another day to not respond to MM’s blog. K.’s pep talk from yesterday helped, and the feedback from a colleague today also helped. I have to keep my mouth shut, and I need the confirmation that it’s the best thing to do. There is no use in replying… I don’t want to get back into the same discussion again. There is no point, no goal. There is no future for us. Even if there was a future for us in sight, I still don’t want to live with this issue between us. I don’t want to stand on trial for the rest of my life, and I don’t want to start a relationship based on lies and distrust. Based on him feeling that I mislead him and my feelings that he has never been honest to me. Strange how things fall into place after so many months… sometimes I wonder how I could believe that it would work out. But that time in october when we said goodbye, I absolutely and totally believed that we would come back together. I believed that everything would work out. I cried and cried and cried… I don’t think there was ever a period so long in which I cried so much.

Now, there can be some tears when I listen to certain music, or when I see people who are happy in love. But I am mostly frustrated and angry…!!

Well, on to positive things. I did my home work for the therapy and wrote positive things about yesterday and today. Yesterday, I went home early and that was lovely. Today, I was in a good mood in spite of the boring work day. I got many response to the e-mails I sent yesterday. I have to send e-mails every first couple of days of the month, to people who work for us but they forgot to write their working hours in our system. Another positive thing, is that I didn’t respond to Mark. I managed to be silent another day.

Now, I better go to bed. Tomorrow I’m going to see my fave Dutch band Blof and Maria Mena, one of my favourite singers. It’s going to be a veeeeery long day!!

Als das Video zum Song “Wide Awake” in der Spread the Musiq Redaktion eintrudelte, lag Spannung in der Luft. Sasha, der soulig gebügelte Mann aus Deutschland und die poppige Maria Mena mit der wunderschönen Balladen-Stimme. Da ist man sehr gespannt was aus so einem Duett wird.

Der Song beginnt mit einem gefühlvollen Part von Sasha, er zeigt sich von Anfang an von seiner romantischsten Seite. Man mag meinen, dieser Part sei zu lang geraten, bis dann Maria los legt. Power Stimme, super emotional mit einem wunderschönen Text. Anschließend treffen sich die beiden in der Mitte und vereinen sich mit ihren wirklich toll wirkenden Stimmen. Wie das ganze seinen Lauf nimmt, könnte ihr euch weiter unten im Beitrag selber anhören.

Das Video, welches bald öffentlich für alle im Netz zugänglich ist, zeigt sich mit abwechselnd warmen und kalten Farben. Grundsätzlich ist das ganze auf ein sehr romantisches Video getrimmt, mit einzelnen Parts der Künstler und zwischendurch treffenden Geschichten. Abgerundet wird das Video durch Ausschnitte des neuen Kinofilms “Lila,Lila“, das Duett ist der dazugehörigeSoundtrack. Ik ben altijd al een fan geweest van Maria Mena. Haar autobiografische lyrics hebben mij meer dan eens bij de keel gegrepen omdat ze zo goed beschreven wat ik op bepaalde momenten niet onder woorden kreeg…. Zeker in de periode dat ik depressief was heb ik echt veel steun gehad aan haar muziek, omdat je voelt dat je niet alleen bent met al die gedachten die door je hoofd gaan. Vreemd genoeg heb ik soms veel meer gehad aan muziek dan aan mensen in mijn omgeving die (soms ook niet) probeerden om me erbovenop te krijgen.

Vandaag gaat alles weer goed, ik heb een fantastisch vriendje, zit aan het einde van mijn studies en ga bijna de stap maken naar het echte leven , heb veel vrienden die echt om me geven en waar ik zoveel aan heb… Daarjuist was ik willekeurig liedjes aan het beluisteren op YouTube en daar kwam dit liedje dan ineens op: All this time van Maria Mena. Ik heb er echt tranen van in mijn ogen, hoe ze het doet, ik weet het niet, maar het raakt mij tot in het diepste van mijn ziel… Het refrein zegt het gewoon allemaal:

Hoe simpel dit ook mag klinken, als je het een langere tijd allemaal niet zag zitten en gewoon geen zelfvertrouwen had in jezelf, in de toekomst, dan doet dit echt iets met een mens… Ik ben K. echt superdankbaar voor al die avonden die we samen hebben gespendeerd. Ik ben er echt van overtuigd dat ik er mee dankzij hem door geraakt ben. Het is niet voor niets dat ik niet zo veel maanden nadat we samen waren, mijn anti-depressiva heb kunnen afbouwen.

Toleranzwelle soll eine kleine Serie werden in der ich eher kleine bzw unvermutete Künstler vorstelle, also welche die man hier niemals erwartet hätte. Also, bleibt gespannt.

Um noch mehr Farbe in das Musiksprektrum dieses blogs zu bekommen,  stelle ich heute eine Künstlerin vor, welche mir sehr am Herzen liegt.

Maria Mena.

Die norwegische Popsängerin welche ich vor 2 Jahren ungefähr kennenlernte beweist das Popmusik nicht nur sinnfreie Texte haben muss und hat dazu noch eine Stimme, die viele wunderbare Nuancen zeigt.

Mit Klavier, Gitarre und anderen begleitenden Instrumenten zaubert sie eine Welt herbei, in die man sich fallen lassen kann und erst beim abklingen des letzten Liedes wieder aufwacht.
Ihre Stimme schwebt zwischen kindlich, verspielt und beinahe zerbrechlich und manchmal ungeahnt kräftig.
Mein Lieblingsalbum, Apparently Unaffected, zu deutsch:Augenscheinlich unbeeindruckt, enthält all diese Nuancen und kann sich ohne zweifel als abwechslungsreich bezeichnen!

Insgesamt veröffentlichte sie 5 Alben, allerdings die ersten 3 nur in Norwegen.

Natürlich muss man auch sagen das sie keine Über-Künstlerin ist und somit gestehe auch ich als Liebhaber ihrer Lieder ein, das es auch Lieder gibt die ich nicht mag und somit nicht immer auf das Album passen, aber die Geschmäcker sind verschieden und ich finde es auch nicht als störend mal einen Song überspringen zu müssen um dann wieder eine Perle zu hören.

Schon allein für den Song “Just Hold Me” ist das Album ein Pflichtkauf…oder zumindest ein Grund mal reinzuhören.

Ich selbst höre eigentlich lieber Rockmusik, wenn möglich etwas härter und war überrascht wie gut mir ihre Musik gefällt.

Auf Ihrer Homepage kann man sich auch einige Videos und Songs anschauen bzw anhören.

Die Alben gibt es aber mittlerweile auch für wenig Geld und sind dieses vollends wert.

So ich hoffe das ich jedem der sie noch nicht kannte eine neue musikalische Offenbarung gebracht habe und wünsche euch viel Spaß mit ihrer Musik.

Sono state rese pubbliche le nomination per il premio di “miglior artista” nelle varie “regioni” dove è presente una emittente dedicata di MTV. Questo in vista degli MTV Music Awards, il premio internazionale della musica europea organizzato dalla popolare emittente in programma il 5 novembre prossimo a Berlino. Da questi uscirà poi, come dai vincitori di ogni categoria “regionale” un vincitore assoluto.

Sotto, tutti i candidati.Qualche notazione. Per quanto concerne l’Italia non ci sono – per ora – artisti usciti da Amici, mentre c’è Giusy Ferreri di X Factor. Qualcosa vorrà dire, anche se probabilmente, per via della permanenza in classifica, ci aspettiamo fra gli album la presenza di “Stupida” della Amoroso o del lavoro di Marco Carta.

A conferma di quello che andiamo dicendo da tempo, anch quest’anno è ricco il parterre di artisti che hanno partecipato al’Eurofestival. Notiamo: Kenan Dugulu, Helena Paparizou, Marika, Lovebugs e l’immancabile Dima Bilan. La rassegna dunque funziona (Bilan è un ex vincitore, l’anno scorso si impose l’israeliana Shiri Maimon).

Non sono poi così tanti gli artisti da primato in classifica, per un premio che tende a valorizzare i sound particolare: si prospetta però una bella lotta in Germania, Spagna, Polonia e Regno Unito. Ci fa piacere vedere, per esempio, artisti come i greci Onirama, la lettone DJ Ella o gli ottimi polacchi Afromental.

Maria Mena a Norwegian Pop Artist was born in an artistic family; her mother, a play writer, and her father, a drummer. With this parents, she was influenced into music. With You’re The  Only One, she made a breakthrough in the wordlwide singles chart which I am not surprised of.

You’re The Only One to me is quite unique because it does not have the fast beating but has the fast, meaningful lyrics. I cannot relate to the feeling of love to this song but what made me choose this song is because it’s hilarious. To me, alright.

An adult thing, yes, but I understand very well and it makes me laugh at  how she states this at such an oblique fashion. But not only that part turned me on.

So, everyone and their grandmothers posted a blog about VHudgens and her vag pics last week. The big thing with her wasn’t the photo leak, but the fact that it was the second time that it had happened. Well people, a new bright and shining star has had nude photos leaked: Ashley Greene of Twilight fame. I think she’s a really promising actress, and, if these weren’t leaked by members of her camp simply for publicity, I feel sorry for her at the moment. Ready for the picture? Here you go.

It’s blurry, but was supposedly taken by a professional photographer. If this is professional photography I’m a fucking expert. But what does this mean for Ashley? She’s not barely legal; the chick is 22. Apparently this picture was taken when she was 19, but it’s still of legal age to take and distribute nudies of yourself. Twilight is on Summit, which isn’t exactly known for it’s squeaky clean teen/young adult stars (KStew smoking pot on her front porch, anyone?) What ramifications are in store for Ms. Greene? I can’t think of any other than being embarrassed that she allowed someone to take potentially compromising pictures of her, but she was 19 and trying to make it in Hollywood. Is anyone REALLY going to blame her? I think not.

Linnunlahdentie ja Länsikadun festivaalialuetta lähin osuus suljetaan
kokonaan autoliikenteeltä festivaaliviikonlopun ajaksi. Muilla
lähikaduilla on pysäköintikieltoja ja niitä valvovat paikallinen poliisi
yhteistyössä Ilosaarirockin järjestyksenvalvojien kanssa. Tilapäisillä
järjestelyillä turvataan festivaalikävijöiden liikkuminen Ilosaarirockin

Vekararokki kerää ennätysyleisön

Lauantaina 18.7. Joensuun Ilosaaressa järjestettävä Vekararokki kerää
paikalle tänä vuonna ennätysyleisön. Kolmena aikaisempana kesänä
1500-2000 ihmistä paikalle vetänyt tapahtuma on jo nyt myynyt enemmän pääsylippuja mitä viime kesinä. Luvassa on siis kaikkien aikojen Vekararokki, jossa musisoivat lapsille ja lapsenmielisille Pikku
Kakkosesta tuttu ja Heikki Salon luotsaama Herra Heinämäen Lato-
