This is a weight indication, therefore, if you want to make 250gr butter, 250gr waste of a Cannabis plant is needed.

Butter with weed tops: 1 part of Marijuana or hash for every 10 parts butter. If you want to make 100gr butter you’ll need 10gr of good weed.

Preparation of Marijuana butter:
Slowly heat the Cannabis butter, this is important because there will be a change of the biochemical characteristics of Cannabis. The strength will decrease in a hot fire.

To begin, you have to clean the Cannabis by taking out the branches. Then crumble the weed in a weed grinder until you get a fine powder. Melt the butter over low heat and add the weed powder slowly, keep stirring . Let it stand on the stove for two hours at the very lowest heat. Leave the lid on the pan. Stir occasionally. Allow the butter to cool, but before it hardens, sift it through a towel or fine sieve in trays. The butter will be preservable for a few weeks if stored In the refrigerator. And when you srore the butter in a freezer it will be preservable for several months.

Tip:
The Marijuana butter is the best to use in hearty meal dishes. The impact will be very heavy when used in brownies and cookies, so be careful when eating several cookies! Keep in mind that it can take up to an hour for the effect will be noticeable.

After cutting down the marijuana plants then trimming them, a marijuana grower will be left with a lot of marijuana clippings to clean up. Marijuana clippings are the little clippings of fan leaves and leaves that were sticking out of the bud after harvesting. These leaves can be very valuable depending on the marijuana grower.

Usually marijuana growers, especially amateur marijuana growers, will just throw out all of the clippings after they are finished harvesting. However, these clippings contain a decent amount of THC and can be used for cooking marijuana products such as brownies, cookies, and even rice crispy treats.

A marijuana grower will store all of the marijuana clippings and allow for them to dry much similar to the drying process that the bud experiences. However, the clippings must be watched very closely as they can mold easily especially if little moisture is present.

Depending on the amount of the plants that were being harvested as well as their average size will determine the amount of marijuana clippings that a marijuana grower is left with. This can range from just a few ounces to possibly a couple of pounds. Be sure to weigh, using a gram scale, the amount of marijuana clippings that are left behind.

The process for extracting the THC from the clippings is relatively simple but will not be found within the Marijuana Fundamentals blog or website. Instead, directions for how to separate the THC from the clippings to either butter or oil can be found at various other websites and/or books.

The idea behind mentioning the THC that is included on the clippings though is to make sure that every marijuana grower is aware of the use of the trimmings. New information such as this helps marijuana growers realize that every bit of the plant can actually be used and not just the bud itself.

Just before Christmas I decided to try the medical marijuana butter I’d been saving in the fridge. It was all legal and I was hurting.
Rather than write about it here, I’ll send you to the local paper and my latest Access Niagara column. I wrote about it there and the feedback has been enlightening. My next column will likely be about the feedback.
To see how it went go to: http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=3462209
I’d love to hear your thoughts on it.

The “Original Gangster” OG Kush originates from the San Fernando Valley in L.A. and is regarded as the strain that put Los Angeles marijuana genetics and flowers originating from up North. Developed over three decades and many years of backing in addition to developing an ideal fertilizer / food with this parrticular strain, led to an extraordinary kush, stated to become the most powerful indica today.

The marijuana strain OG Kush was formally a clone only strain. She stretches in veg but appears to fill herself in flower. She’s more compact nugs that exist a great yield from should you supercrop her while she’s growing. OG Kush favors to become grown inside inside a hydroponic setup.

There’s also another well-known marijuana OG lineage which was coded in Northern California, which story went something similar to this.. A man – we’ll call him up KushDawg with regard to this story – living somewhere deep in the woods on the Northern California Coast was growing the initial cut from San Fernando Valley, the birthplace on most plant transporting the “OG” label.

One evening, KushDawg was chilling out in a local bar when another chap also sitting in the bar offered him a bowl of some special high grade marijuana. Intrigued, KushDawg recognized the sale. When the chap opened up the bag and also the dank, pungent OG aroma lifted in to the air, KushDawg understood immediately, unknowingly towards the chap, this is at fact their own plant. Because they toked the glorious plant, the chap made their own opinion regarding the origin from the plant, stating that it had been so excellent since it was “Mountain Grown.” KushDawg remedied the chap, “Naw guy, these things are ‘Ocean Grown,’” and therefore the plant was really grown inside around the Off-shore Coast.
