Here are a few tips on how to achieve the conversions from potential customer to a paying customer:</p>
<p><b>Step 1 – Ask the Right Question<br />

<p>Don&#8217;t assume that the questions you have asked potential customers in the past are the right questions today. Example: Are you ready to buy our one year package? May work better today as &#8220;Would you like to purchase our one year package or would you prefer trying it first on a month-to-month lease?&#8221; Today&#8217;s customers like having choices and they don&#8217;t like to feel cornered, so offering them a choice can make them feel heard better and also give them an incentive to make a longer commitment on their own terms.</p>
<p><b><em>Write down the questions you ask potential customers today and try mixing it up a bit with an approach including alternatives. Then measure your success. </em></b></p>
<p><b>Step 2 – Review Your Past Prospects and Learn Something About Your Company </b></p>
<p><b></b>While it is important to determine your closing ratio (leads to solds) it is equally important to review who you sold to last month and the month before and compare who they were and what product or service they bought. Then compare them to previous customers to see if their priorities or needs have changed. One of the advantages of being a small business is you are able to move your strategies quickly when you see a trend change. However if you are too busy to review who is buying from you lately, you may miss an important trend that can propel your company over your competition. Take the time to review your current customers and their buying trends this year over the past.</p>
<p>Take a minute to jot down who you thing your primary customers are and what you think they buy the most and why? Then compile the actual statistics from your sales and a customer description. Do your expectations match the results or is there any trend you may have missed? If so, consider if there is a product or service that would help your business grow or  improve customer satisfaction?</p>
<p><b>Step 3 –How are you reaching your new leads 7-9 times to gain their trust?<br />
</b></p>
<p>Did you know that it takes 7-9 impressions with your brand in order for potential leads to trust you enough to become a customer? Write down on a piece of paper a trail from your brand&#8217;s first contact with a lead to how you would reach them 7-9 times <span style="color:#800080;"><a href="http://tailormadeadvertising.constantcontact.com/features/signup.jsp">using Email</a></span><a href="http://tailormadeadvertising.constantcontact.com/features/signup.jsp">,</a> Social Media, Traditional or Online advertising. How much time does that take you? Then reduce the time from first contact to 7-9 touches.</p>
<p><b>Step 4 – Don&#8217;t Skip the Phone Call or Phone Number</b></p>
<p>When you send out information to a potential customer make sure your phone number is there. Also make sure a personal call or Email is part of the plan in Step 3. Remember the goal is trust and in order to trust you, I need to feel like you personally reached out to me (even in an E-Mail). By creating an outbound calling follow up, you will achieve more trust than sending out another Email or ad. If your target market prefers texts, make that part of your follow up.</p>
<p><b>Step 5 – Track Your Successes</b></p>
<p>Don&#8217;t forget this step, track your leads and when they close. Record the steps in between and you will find a winning formula for now. Always be open to changing your program but note when it works well and as your ratio of leads to solds increases recognize that your planning led to the difference.  Then stay open to observing the next trend in three months, go through this again and see how your sales process has changed</p>

<p>Previously Android-only, Google’s “predictive search” tool Google Now <a href="http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2013/04/google-now-on-your-iphone-and-ipad-with.html">is now available</a> for the iPhone and iPad. It’s part of an updated <a href="https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/google-search/id284815942">Google Search App for iOS</a>.</p>
<p>Google Now for iOS had been anticipated since March, when Engadget <a href="http://searchengineland.com/will-google-now-for-iphone-ipad-boost-google-search-app-usage-151387">discovered</a> a promotional video suggesting it would make the leap. Until its release this morning, Google Now had been available exclusively on devices running Android 4.1 (“Jelly Bean”) or higher.</p>
<p>We’ve written <a href="http://searchengineland.com/library/google/google-google-now">multiple times about Google Now</a> in the past. But, if for some reason you’re unfamiliar with it, Google Now is the company’s “search assistant,” offering “predictive” or “anticipatory” search by combining dynamic contextual information with structured data, presented on nicely formatted “cards.”</p>
<p>Danny Sullivan has written a companion article, <a href="http://searchengineland.com/amazing-google-now-157223">The Amazing “Google Now” — When Google Searches Before You Think To</a>, which provides additional background and a reintroduction to the service.</p>
<p>The images immediately below are screenshots provided by Google illustrating how Google Now results will look on the iPhone — essentially identical to the Android version.</p>

<p>Google Now cards offer information on traffic, weather, sports scores, nearby places, currency conversions, movie showtimes, package tracking and considerably more. It’s a growing list of categories and data sources. Google Now will even prompt you to continue searching on previous search topics (e.g., flights to Kona). The chart below shows the full range of content and information available via Google Now.</p>
<p>Because we didn’t get early access to the app, we don’t know whether Google Now will operate differently on iOS vs. the Android version. It’s a safe bet, however, that you won’t be able to “swipe up” from the bottom of the iPhone (or iPad) screen to launch Google Now. (But, see postscript below.)</p>
<p>As a general matter, in the iOS version, Google Now will provide essentially the same content and functionality that Android users have been enjoying. The major difference is that the full range of information “cards” won’t be immediately available for iOS. We understand they will eventually come over, however.</p>

<p>Google Now is a compelling product and has improved since its launch last year. It also illustrates how the future of search will be different from its past. The combination search/Web history, data and context enable Google Now to give users lots of personalized information about lots of things without having to ask for any of it.</p>
<p>Back in 2010, Marrisa Mayer (then at Google) was <a href="http://searchengineland.com/googles-mayer-on-contextual-discovery-search-58181">promoting</a> the idea of “contextual discovery,” which would “push information to people” based on their location and what they are doing. Before that, in 2009, she was <a href="http://www.pcworld.com/article/181874/article.html">talking</a> about “the perfect search engine” as one that would have a more holistic understanding of user needs and would be able to deliver data or content in an “informative and coherent way.”</p>
<p>Google Now embodies both of those sets of aspirations. However one question is whether iPad and iPhone owners will actually use it.</p>
<p>An online survey I conducted in June of last year (n=503 iPhone 4S owners) found that most people either searched from the Safari toolbar (using Google as the default engine) or went to Google.com on the mobile Web. Just under 20 percent of respondents said they used the search app.</p>
<p><strong>Which of the following do you use MOST OFTEN to search the web on your phone?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>I visit Google.­com to search: 44.9 percent</li>
<li>I use search in the Safari toolbar: 26.4 percent</li>
<li>I use the Google mobile app: 19.3 percent</li>
<li>I use Siri to search the web: 11.1 percent</li>
<li>I use Bing and/or Yahoo: 6.6 percent</li>
</ul>
<p>These survey responses shouldn’t be seen as definitive, but merely indicative, that most iOS users don’t currently use the search app as their primary way to access Google. In that context, Google Now for iOS can be seen partly as a bid to get iOS users to both sign in (which is a requirement) and search more.</p>
<p>Beyond all the “under the hood” capabilities, Google Now translates the otherwise basic mobile search experience into a richer and more dynamic app-based experience.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>1. Inventory control: </strong></span>Computers are now used to keep records of inventory. Inventory keeping allows Inventory control systems maintain information about activities within firms that ensure the delivery of products to customers. The subsystems that perform these functions include sales, manufacturing, warehousing, ordering, and receiving. Softwares like Simple Inventory, Microsoft Access, MessLess Inventory Management System and JumpBox facilitate automated inventory management. It makes it easy to retrieve, save and change stocks, customer details, market niches, and sales.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve read countless numbers of books on &#8220;Success&#8221; and all of its descriptions. There are a myriad of opinions on &#8220;success&#8221; and how one achieves it. Personally, I believe success is defined and measured individually, as each person has a different and unique perspective. What is success? How do you measure your success? Do you consider yourself successful?</p>
<p>For some, money means success. For others, success is being independent, the business owner&#8230;the car, the house, the affluence. I think a big part of this identity stems from our society, Hollywood, Wall Street and the generation of entitlement. Does success mean happiness, freedom, peace&#8230;? Is there a &#8220;secret&#8221; to success?</p>
<p>In my 20&#8242;s, I worked hard to be my definition of successful: the young, upwardly mobile or &#8220;yuppie&#8221; was my example. I read the books, listened to the tapes and attended the seminars. In my 30&#8242;s, success meant reaching a place of status, having worked hard to earn the position. To be honest, internally I was miserable, unhappy and burned out. On the outside, I looked the part&#8230;on the inside, I was falling apart.</p>
<p>Today, I have an entirely different view of success. I still have the ambition, the motivation and yes, even the anxiety, but I have learned something that I consider to be very valuable on the path to &#8220;success&#8221;. I get up everyday and try to do my best. Most days I focus on putting one foot in front of the other. I have learned that it does me no good to try to put 10 feet in front of the one foot. It doesn&#8217;t work.  I have learned that success is not and should not be measured by status in comparison to others.</p>
<p>The secret of success for me is persevering&#8230;enduring&#8230;putting one foot in front of the other, day by day. In business, in relationships, in everything&#8230;one step at a time, day by day. Trials and tribulations come and sometimes the circumstances threaten to take us out. Even if we have to re-direct our steps, revise our goals or even take a break, those decisions are evidence of &#8220;success&#8221;. Just don&#8217;t give up, don&#8217;t quit and don&#8217;t let anyone or anything have the power to rob you of your dreams and visions.</p>

While more <a class="zem_slink" title="Web content" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_content" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">content</a>, more deals, and more emails might sound like a good thing from a <a class="zem_slink" title="Business" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Business" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">business owner</a>’s standpoint, you have to consider the perspective of the consumer. Most likely, you’re not the only business they’ve subscribed to. This means that in addition to your one or two emails per day, they’re also receiving emails, status updates, texts, and seeing advertisements from various other businesses. The last thing you want to do is be the business that goes overboard because they won’t hesitate to unsubscribe from your updates.</p>
<p>After you’ve gained a new follower, like, email subscriber, or blog reader, thank them for their support and then give them some space. You’ve captured their attention, which means they’ll be more aware of the amount of content you send their way. If that content is too few and far between, they can quickly forget about you. On the other hand, too much content can be overwhelming, annoying, and misinterpreted as lower quality. None of these bode well for your business development purposes.</p>
<p>Instead, find the right balance between the amount of content you send out and the time you send it out. Sending out smaller amounts of the right content at optimal times means that you have a higher chance at the success of that email, blog post, status update, or otherwise.</p>
<p><strong>Ask For Feedback</strong></p>
<p>If you’re sensing that your customers aren’t happy or you’d like to find ways to improve their experience with your business, the simplest way to find viable data is to simply ask them. That’s right; your customers partially hold the key to their own happiness. But it’s your responsibility as a business owner to unleash that insight and analyze it.</p>
<p>You can ask for <a class="zem_slink" title="Customer service" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Customer_service" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">customer feedback</a> a number of ways. The most obvious is through <a class="zem_slink" title="PollDaddy" href="http://www.polldaddy.com/" target="_blank" rel="homepage">online surveys</a>. But this requires asking the right questions in the right format. The trick is to figure out what you’d like to know the most and then ask it in the simplest way. For instance, if you’d like to find out how your customer service team is doing ask how customers would rate their experience when deal with them. Asking for an answer on a number scale like 1 being the best experience and 10 being the worst experience would make the question even simpler. Also, try <a class="zem_slink" title="Question" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Question" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">asking the question</a> again but in a different way. This gives you more data to base your analysis off of. For a similar question to our previous example, you can ask how likely your customer is to recommend the customer service team. Again, use a numbered scale for easy answering.</p>
<p>You can also request feedback through social media, email newsletters, and posing questions at the end of blog posts on your website. Engage your customers and have them take interest in making the business they patronize better for their own benefit. You might want to offer deals, discounts, coupons, and other prizes for those who fill out the surveys. This will generate more interest, giving your surveys a variety of people to request feedback from.</p>
<p><strong>Offer Occasional Deals</strong></p>
<p>There are only a handful of companies that can get away with not offering any deals to their customers, but those companies have spent decades building up a reputation to do so. <a class="zem_slink" title="Apple Inc." href="http://companies.findthecompany.com/l/8500602/Apple-Inc" target="_blank" rel="fdbcompanies">Apple</a>, for instance, is know for it’s incredible customer service and top-of-the-line products, so customers are happy even though they almost never get a deal on a new mac computer. However, the rest of us have to find a way to compete and keep our customers coming back.</p>
<p>Offering deals, exclusive memberships, coupons, discounts, or another type of content is a way to reward your customers. Don’t think of offers as giving money away, think of it as an investment in the happy customers you’ll make along the way. You could either start with small offers to get your customers buzzing or go for a great big sale or deal to get them really excited. Afterwards, you will have established long-term relationships with many customers that might even do some word of mouth marketing for you. Offer rewards every now and then to keep customers looking forward to coming back into your store or onto your website.</p>
<p>Turning regular old customers into happy, satisfied customers means your business can do more and more. Instead of worrying over the perfect product, the perfect website, or the perfect <a class="zem_slink" title="Twitter" href="http://twitter.com" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Twitter</a> account, worry yourself with how to make your customers smile every time they think about your business. While this might be perfect attire for the office, it’s not necessarily perfect attire for meeting with clients.</p>
<p>You know better that not all lawyers wear <a class="zem_slink" title="Armani" href="http://www.armani.com" target="_blank" rel="homepage">Armani</a> suits, but your clients will be expecting someone with an air of confidence, someone who can fight their case like it was their own. Khakis and a sweater might not inspire that kind of confidence. The moral of the story is that you should always dress up, even when your office lets you sport a more relaxed feel.</p>

When it comes to your job, you really can’t ever be too dressed up. Pointy-toed heels are in for women, striped suits are starting to make a comeback for men, and so on.
