Madrid, Autumn 2002. Pablo López is just an ordinary man, he’s thirty something, works in an investment bank and is fed-up with everything.

 One Monday morning at 9, in a traffic jam right in the centre of Madrid, his car crashes into the back of a convertible belonging to a rich kid from Madrid. This gets him into trouble with the police and the insurance company and makes him psychologically destroy the girl. But one day when the hounding has reached the point of ridicule, he finds himself caught up in a poetic, heartbreaking love affair with his victim’s sister, a fifteen-year-old girl.

 Un lunes, a las 9 de la mañana, en un atasco en pleno centro de la capital, su coche se empotra contra el descapotable de una niña bien madrileña, lo que le mete en un lío con la policía y el seguro y le incita a aniquilar psicológicamente a la chica.
