Good friend Martin Scott with another Cutt on some nice water.

This was just another fun day throwing DRIES. Martin started out with a bang when he finally starting listening to me… a problem he solves about 10 minutes into each one of our trips. Good Ju Ju was with Killa as he did this thru out the day in between gulps of drinkability and the b.s that spills out of his mouth while in the boat.

I’m still hoping we can get that 250 fish day here this next summer but, Killa won’t let me change the color of my boat. He likes it when I’m working my ass off.

Anyway, the two of us had a great day “perving” eastern Wydaho’s ditches…

I saw something while working on this post for Georgia Legislative Watch that caught my eye. It was

I saw something while working on this post for Georgia Legislative Watch that caught my eye.

It was known as HR 280, and its title was “Claim sovereignty under Tenth Amendment of Constitution over certain powers; serve notice to federal government to cease and desist”.

Basically, this Resolution says that the 10th Amendment to the US Constitution declared that any power not specifically vested in the National government via the Constitution was reserved to the States. The National government was created to be an agent of the States, yet now treats the States as agents of the National government. Many National decisions are direct violations of the 10th Amendment, and SCOTUS ruled in 1992 that the US Congress can not simply override the legislative and regulatory processes of the States. Finally, there is a lot of stuff going on right now in Washington that if done as proposed would further violate the 10th Amendment.

Because of all these factors, the State of Georgia claims its sovereignty rights under the 10th Amendment over all powers not specifically delegated to the National government via the US Constitution. Furthermore, the State of Georgia orders the National government, as its agent, to immediately cease and desist with all actions beyond the scope of its Constitutional powers.

The order would be transmitted to POTUS (Barack Obama), President of the US Senate (V-POTUS Joe Biden), Speaker of the US House of Representatives (Nancy Pelosi), each State’s Speaker of the House and President of the Senate (the other 49 states), and each US Representative and US Senator that represents Georgia.

Those are some heavy hitters politically, and this Resolution is sponsored by a group of relative newcomers to the State House: Martin Scott (R-Rossville, 3rd term), Tommy Benton (R-Jefferson, 3rd term), Sean Jerguson (R-Canton, 2nd term), Terry England (R-Auburn, 3rd term), Stephen Allison (R-Blairsville, 1st term), and Tom Weldon (R-Ringgold, 1st term).

I urge you to do everything you can to support this Resolution and these Representatives. They clearly are on the right path, and I personally wish them all the best.

Just as a heads up, there is a similar measure in the New Hampshire Legislature. You can find some coverage of it here and here.

The main difference between the GA and NH measures is that the GA measure doesn’t include a nullification clause. A nullification clause would state essentially that ertain future acts will be viewed as a “breach of peace” with the states themselves that risks “nullifying the Constitution”. Just as a refresher to your history knowledge, this was a major bone of contention circa 1860. It was this ‘nullification’ principle that the Southern States cited when they seceded from the Union to kick off the American Civil War.

Honestly, at this point I would kill any resolutions that had a nullification clause – including the NH one – simply because I don’t feel that the situation yet warrants war, which is what a nullification clause would lead directly to.

The Second American Civil War.

GA didn’t fare so well the first time, and I’d rather not see a second time in my lifetime if it can be avoided.

Pass the State level Resolutions. Put pressure on Congress.

But don’t start a physical war.

And some people are actually going over “in the spirit” when Godfrey Birtill shoots at them to blast away their “religious” cows!

This was with Dave Vaughan and Justin Abraham of Emerge Wales, who are linked to New Mystics John Crowder and Benjamin Dunn, and Pioneer North.

Apart from the foolishness displayed here [and also its fakeness], I find it deeply troubling that the crowd can be so deceived and do not get what this really means.

You can watch the video here -

______________

Godfrey Birtill openly boasts of a spiritual inheritance from his ‘Moravian’ roots. He is a worship leader, and I can see from his diary online that he ministers among other places at Aglow, YWAM and Pioneer Churches.

Godfrey Birtill lives in Lincoln, and is a worship leader based at New Life Church [which up until recently was where Chris Bowater was based]. New Life is part of the Ground Level Network UK churches.

Godfrey Birtill is also an associate of Pioneer Churches, overseen by Gerald Coates, Latter Rain dominionist, who has his own English roundtable of apostle and prophets. Gerald Coates promoted Lakeland, Dudley and all the recent false fad revivals going including the Toronto Blessing and the Marsham Street Revival where at the latter Godfrey Birtill is said to have been touched in 1997.

The Marsham Street Revival was strongly linked to both Gerald Coates and Martin Scott’s ministries, and it was rehyped again last year because of Lakeland. The usual who’s who of false prophets, apostles and false signs are involved including Todd Bentley – see here for just a little info on Marsham Street, the 2008 Version.

Gerald Coates and his followers were famously shown up some years ago in a British full length television documentary on the gold teeth phenomonan, imported to Britain from Argentina. NO ‘dental miracles’ were found, despite all the claims and hype from Coates to the contrary.

What a disgrace.

Etienne de Montille was in the restaurant on Monday showing his latest releases with Bill Butzgy and David Kunicki of Martin Scott Wines. Etienne owns and/or runs three properties in Burgundy with his sister Alix. Domaine de Montille in Volnay is the family estate, with holdings of just about 10 hectares in and around Volnay, including premier cru sites in Puligny-Montrachet, Volnay, Pommard and Beaune. A plot in the grand cru of Corton was recently added. The Domaine has been farming organically since 1995 and is considering biodynamics. The brother and sister team steer clear of new oak, using only 20 to 30 percent in their wines, which are often bottled without fining or filtration.

Etienne also works as the manager of Chateau Puligny-Montrachet, which is owned by a prominent French banking concern. There he has steered the winemaking away from new oak and towards lower yields and biodynamic farming.

Finally, Etienne and Alix are proprietors of a small negociant business; Alix is the winemaker and Etienne watches the books and does things like travel to Greenport to show his wines to people like me. The concern is known as Deux Montille Soeur et Frere.

Coincidently, Etienne was in the restaurant for dinner on Saturday night and drank a bottle of the 2004 Macari Bergen Road. (And distinguished himself before I knew who he was by asking for the wine to be decanted and then put in the walk-in refrigerator. “I like it fraîche,” he said.) Of the 10 wineries he visited out here, he said Macari showed the most consistency.

I tasted nine wines. Unfortunately, the restaurant, which is 100 feet from Greenport Harbor and surprisingly still has a tiny basement, has very little storage, and the wine I buy has to be ready to drink. This leaves out many high-end burgundies, aside, of course, from the price.

Out of my range and ability to hold until they’re ready to drink are the delicious Domaine de Montille 2006 Beaune 1er Cru “Les Greves” and the Deux Montille Soeur et Frere Chambolle-Musigny “Les Babillieres.”

The Beaune had dusty tannins with a refined flintiness and a background of red cherry. The Chambolle has the same structure but seemed to have more wood and barnyard on the nose.

So delicious was the Duex Montille 2005 Mersault 1er Cru “Les Boucheres.” It was so complex and round, with lime and spicy and a creaminess, with fresh acid and a long, round finish.

Etienne explained Burgundy this way: It always has presence, even if, as in lesser years, the structure is not there. Wine from other regions need one for the other to exist. Spoken like a true Burgundian.

… ja was eigentlich? Enttäuschung? Verzweiflung? Das offene Ende? Bestürzung? Trauer?
