Came across this video and love the intro, I always had an inkling that all the disaster movies of late wasn’t just grand entertainment but a gentle highlight of how “evil we are” to the Earth and if not careful, She may just bite back.  Well, as the latter part of the video informs us, the science is anything but settled.

I’ve edited the following tweets from Our very own Saint Nick, who went into the Lions den and has survived to tell the tale.  Actually, he gave us a play-by-play account of the event, and although most of the snippets are simple exclamations, some are very telling indeed.  After reading this though, I hope Mr Griffin delays the last-minute Christmas shopping and publish a full account of the people and organisations involved this International scam.

Unfortunately only a round-up of the news, not a full-scale biblical-style lynching of old that left thousands maimed and thousands more butchered.  The only things maimed were the bloodied protesters and the only thing butchered were the gourmet meats flown in from far and wide to cater for the twenty-five-thousand odd who bothered to turn up at this gala event.

By the way, the cost of the Copenhagen Summit was £130m, generated 41,000 tons of CO2 over two weeks, was attended by 119 Heads of state with 193 national delegations, had over 3,000 journalists covering the whole thing (with the BBC providing no less than 35 themselves), meaning that the 1,500 plus protesters were outnumbered by the press, let alone the high number of police available.  Nearly 50,000 passes were handed out to visitors yet two-thirds most probably took the pass and headed towards the nearest brothel and never showed up.

James Dellingpole provides a tiny analysis of the various media mouthpieces expressing dismay at the lack of commitment, with the excellent disembowelment of Polly Toynbee’s Guardian sponsored-rant:

Also in the Telegraph is an article where Secretary General Ban Ki-moon comments that Copenhagen was a ‘essential beginning’ and that “…  Mr Ban said the agreement must be made legally binding next year”.  So in the eyes of the Internationalistic* and Fascistical* United Nations, the agreement is all but binding and will be ratified sometime next year.  Global Corporate Governance looks on the cards with the total disregard for democratic accountability that is the norm in such organisations.

And I finally recommend the Daily Mail’s take on these events, for it has many different snippets which includes the golden one below:

‘Flash’ Gordon wanting to “save the world” again by promising to hand over our cash and cut our emissions, and still fails to get the praise from Saint Obama he so visibly craves.  Hopefully we can rid ourselves of Brown & NuGov in the next six months but Obama has another few years at the helm, and with him being a corporate stooge, only see the IPCC getting stronger.

Even though the Bastards that Be haven’t agreed in public, I’m sure a lot of backroom deals have been made to ensure the speedy implementation of the Copenhagen Treaty next time they meet, all the Corruptibles need now is a luxury destination.

After reading Dominic Sandbrook had failed the test, someone with such an impeccable academic background, completing a first-class history degree from Oxford and a prize-winning PhD from Cambridge, my first thought was that this is a good sign and must mean loads of would-be Citizenship seekers would have had to make alternative accommodation plans.  Sadly though, this is NuGov’s audacious Utopian test to prep would-be Citizens to ensure a umbigorous Britain.  Once more it is cynical social engineering by the Bastards that Be to change the ancient lands and peoples into a new multicultural, multi-ethnic, multi-racial, multi-religious and free to fuck anything you want, Brave New World.

And in NuGov’s dreamland, no-one can fail, so the would-be Citizens are given the best chance possible for passing the multiple choice test with the answers all contained in a book titled “Life in the UK Test” for sale from all good bookstores.  A key to Britain for less than £10.  Doubt Tesco could beat that price.  The cost to administer all this in Britain most definitely outweighs the benefits.  I’m all for immigration, as long as it benefits Britain first and foremost.

Bringing in entire communities does not benefit Britain, only those who hold the most stock in UK Plc get a little bit richer due to the fact that more ‘cosumers’ have moved in, more National Insurance Cards have been issued, more transactions meaning more financial mutterings on a LED board with men in suits screaming “buy buy buy” or “sell sell sell”…  All great for a cancerous economy and while this continues assisted by the political classes, even less consideration is given to the long-term social costs involved.

Those at the bottom now find themselves competing with more people for less resources and yet the Government agencies responsible seem to turn a blind eye as it continues to grow at an ever alarming rate than the Country’s infrastructure (and sanity) can cope, that if something is not done to reverse the multiple personality disorder Britain is suffering from, it will surely lead into civil strife.

To help you understand an underclass perspective on newcomers, I will put it in the simplest terms.  Of course, there are many other factors but again, this is my own simple-minded view of the cost to benefit ratio.

• Immigration Benefit to Britain: Possibly an extra worker paying taxes or an entrepreneur who creates an extra ten jobs, and maybe some valued experience.
• Britain’s Benefit to the immigrant: Developed first world country, welfare state (NHS, Schooling, Social Care, etc), access to specially catered support groups, democracy, maintaining national identity.

So as I see it, we have an entire immigration system that accepts more than it can chew, and even though inflicting National suicide, the Bastards that Be still manage to profit from the suicidal situation it helped create, with every side involved being financed from the public purse. Utter madness.  The only test should consist of one question and that is, “Does Britain need you?”.

No more accepting the driftwood that washes on these shores, for surely there is a better way of acquiring would-be Britons.  For it’s the wannabe Britons Our Nation should be seeking and then welcoming with open arms, those who come to Britain not to be some mere citizen but to continue flying the flag for Britain, holding Her values and continuing Her traditions (and I don’t mean football or idle navel gazing currently promoted as the be all and end all).  If we had a sensible immigration policy, we wouldn’t be in half the shit we’re in.  Then again, if we were a sensible species, we wouldn’t be in any shit.

Russia Today must has a soft spot for Mr Griffin or actually consist of real journalists, not the NUJ-dominated gutter-press-pack that infects Britain.  Either way, always nice to have a nice straight and forward interview.  Once more in regard to Copenhagen and this time in response to the Climategate email leak from the Russian skeptics’ perspective.

Like most gravy trains, once they get started, they’re hard to stop.  Sometimes the only way to stop these trains is to physically derail the things, carriages and contents alike.  Hopefully Copenhagen will become Nopenhagen but judging by the sheer audacity shown by the Bastards that Be over the last few decades, fear that the whole Climate Scam Express will join up with the equally questionable European Fascistic Express.  And sadly, the EU Juggernaut rolls on no matter what the obstacle, be it democracy, financial irregularities or outright corrupt practices.

Hoping for the best but fearing the worst when it comes to large Governmental organisations, and you can’t get much larger than Global Governance.

I went to Brook Manchester this morning to meet Cristina and Steve regarding our community project to produce a series of web / phone videos for Brook to use for their clients. Below are the notes from the meeting:

ISSUES:

1. Selection of videos to produce:

 We discussed the list of potential videos that Cristina had included in the initial brief, and, of the 7 options, decided to whittle the list down to 5 films to go into production.

 The chosen films, selected according to Brook’s priorities, as well as to provide a range of experience for Kate and Stewart, are:

 Condom demonstration v.1. – for mobile phone:

(Context – people must be given this demonstration as part of the registration process for a c-card – free condom distribution card)

 This will be a straightforward visual demonstration, for use by youth workers out and about, often showing the video to young people via their phones. There will be no audio or captions.

 Regarding distribution, Steve is currently surveying the youth workers to find out what sort of phones they have access to – whether they have bluetooth capability etc.

 Condom demonstration v.2 – for web (c-card website) / PCs at Brook / use in clinics:

 The bulk of this will be the same demonstration as above, but with descriptive voiceover, and subtitles. It would be desirable to include some narrative, possibly just via voiceover, at the start, e.g. a boy and girl negotiating over whether to use the condom.

 This will be useful both for people to look at as a follow up to their clinic visit, or whilst attending, if they are uncomfortable with a live demonstration by staff.

 Client journey 1 – Getting to Brook Manchester:

 Audio and subtitles

 Client feedback has demonstrated to Brook that people often find it difficult to locate the clinic, frequently only going so far up Lever Street, then deciding it’s too empty and Brook can’t be that far up.

 This film will walk a client from Piccadilly Gardens to Brook Manchester, highlighting landmarks to look out for along the way (e.g. street name signs, Primark etc). Also film the outside of Brook so that people know where to look for.

 Client journey 2 – Inside Brook Manchester (for web / PCs / plasma screen):

 Audio and subtitles

 Following on from the geographical journey, this film will show people what to expect once they get through the doors at Brook, from the sign-in process at Reception to their clinic appointment.

Voiceover / speech from the client, possibly interspersed with v/o comments taken from the experiences of real clients (e.g. ‘I was really nervous, but they were really nice’ / ‘I was surprised that I wouldn’t have to tell my parents I had visited’). Staff, e.g. reception staff to speak to camera, e.g. to reiterate that people won’t have to give any personal details at reception or say why they are visiting.

 NB: Content can come from client feedback forms and Big Brother Booth research – Brook to collate

 Pill demonstration (for web / PCs):

 Audio and subtitles

 cf. condom demonstration, straightforward visual demonstration with explanatory soundtrack and subtitles.

 Types of contraception (for web / PCs / plasma screen):

 Presenting the pros and cons of different types of contraception. Suggestion is to stage it as an informal (but scripted) conversation between a group of boys and girls, where each person supports a particular method, but someone else points out a disadvantage – then cut to a Brook nurse summarising the advantages and disadvantages of each.

The idea of this, and all videos, is to reinforce what’s being said in Brook clinic visits / outreach, but see it said by other people than Brook staff, and applied to real life.

 Will need actors.

 Audio and subtitles.

 2. Resources available:

 Brook have lots of comments from clients that have come from feedback forms, and also from the Big Brother-style video booth. They will collate this material to feed into script.

 Brook will supply script ‘chunks’ for the demonstrations / formal information giving.

 Look into sourcing new comments / client experiences as needed, especially around the client journey / finding Brook Manchester.

 CAST: Brook staff / volunteers will appear in the ‘Types of Contraception’ conversation, and as themselves, as necessary in other films.

 Actors from MAD Theatre Company, Moston (aged 16+) will play the clients in the Client Journey films, and can also help with voiceovers as needed. NB Kate has spoken to Rob Lees from MAD, and he’s keen to get involved. He thinks filming scheduled around Feb half-term would be fine.

3.  Research:

•  Stewart will conduct some consultation to TAS pupils to determine any approaches that would completely put them off, see what they think would be effective etc.
•  Kate will survey comments on existing similar online videos that Cristina has sent through, to find pointers
•  Kate and Stewart will present the project / suggested approach to Brook staff at a staff meeting on 7^th January 2010, at 10am, and gather input / feedback from them.
•  Kate and Stewart will present findings / chosen approach to tutors and fellow students on 15^th January 2010 (as part of assessment for Research Skills module) and pass any useful feedback back to Brook.

 4. Scheduling:

 January 2010 – Brook to collate comments / script material / K & S to plan out filming – filming schedule and scripts to be completed by end of January.

 February 2010 – Filming (esp around half-term). NB Filming AT BROOK can only happen when the centre is closed (open 12-7pm weekdays, 11-4 Saturdays, 12-3 Sundays).

 March 2010 – Editing

 April 2010 – Premiere, feedback from TAS / other young people (sourced through Brook) and Brook staff. Kate and Stewart to look at future sustainability / possible toolkit material / basic training so that Brook staff can continue and make more films, and ensure that Brook staff are comfortable with using the videos.

 May 2010 – Kate and Stewart write up project and hand in! Present final outcomes to Brook staff?

 5. Other info:

 Sting featuring Brook Manchester URL and C-Card URL to appear on all videos except condom demo for mobile (too small?).

 Selected Brook staff to observe / help with filming process so that they can work towards making new films after this project finishes.

Not the Cold War of the last century that was between two Superpowers (with many supporting actors) striving for global supremacy, no, the newest Cold War plan was to see the creation of a Superpower with the ability to freeze and starve the population for “the better good”.

Climategate goes SERIAL: now the Russians confirm that UK climate scientists manipulated data to exaggerate global warming

Climategate just got much, much bigger. And all thanks to the Russians who, with perfect timing, dropped this bombshell just as the world’s leaders are gathering in Copenhagen to discuss ways of carbon-taxing us all back to the dark ages.

What the Russians are suggesting here, in other words, is that the entire global temperature record used by the IPCC to inform world government policy is a crock.

The full article is worth the read and judging by the comments, more and more are converting back to sanity everyday.  With all the bravado shown by the Bastards that Be before Climategate, it seemed a  deal was only a pen-stroke away.  Soon Copenhagen will become Nopenhagen and sadly, this only means a new plan of attack, for we may have won this battle, but by no means have we won the war.

The European Union and Fraud are synonymous which each other, having been acquainted since it’s inception.  Not only has it actively carried out one of the biggest deceptions with its creation (and subsequent enlargement) but has encouraged them, with so many MEPs milking the European Experience for all it’s worth, knowing that if they’re dirty enough, they’ll end up in a nice plum job for nefarious reasons known only to the top (although having a subservient underling is probably top of the list).

European taxpayers lose €5bn in carbon trading fraud

The European Union has probably lost at least €5bn (£4.5bn) to VAT fraud related to carbon trading and there is a risk that the criminals will now shift their attention to Europe’s electricity and gas markets, according to Europol.

The news will cause further embarrassment for European governments negotiating at the Copenhagen climate summit and trying to persuade other parts of the world to sign up to carbon trading as a way of reducing emissions.

The fraud involves a criminal registering to be able to trade carbon permits in the ETS. Most of these registrations have taken place in Denmark where the rules are slackest. The criminal then starts buying carbon permits in one EU country from another, free of VAT, then sells them on with the VAT added. But instead of passing the VAT on to the relevant tax authority, he disappears without trace, hence the name “missing trader” fraud.

In its more sophisticated form, groups of fraudsters in different countries will send carbon permits round a circuit between various countries, reclaiming VAT repeatedly before the ruse is discovered, by which time they are long gone.

This led to a big spike in trading volume last summer, particularly on exchanges in the UK, France and Netherlands, which subsequently moved to change their VAT laws so VAT was not payable along with the trading charge. Trading volumes have since fallen dramatically.

The French authorities last week arrested four people suspected of engaging in a €156m carbon carousel fraud on France’s Bluenext exchange.

So not only was the European Union set-up on false pretences, corrupted elected and unelected officials alike, vanished hundreds-of-billions of €€€s and now, have encouraged with their collective incompetence massive frauds to be committed daily against us.

We are ruled by the fools while the smart Bastards that Be manipulate them at whim.  Until we separate the wheat from the chaff, we’re stuck with the smart-arses and until we rid ourselves of them, will have no chance of peace.

Activists reveal tactics used by police to ‘decapitate’ Copenhagen climate protests

Danish police used wire traps, deployed undercover officers and detained people in cages they called “Guantanamo junior” to “decapitate” climate protests in Copenhagen this week, activists claimed today.

The details of police tactics came as three of the spokespeople for the campaigning group behind yesterday’s protests around the Bella conference centre, where UN climate talks are taking place, were charged and imprisoned following preliminary hearings.

The thin blue line is getting beefier every time we see them, no matter what the jurisdiction.  The days of law and order are over, all it is now is a show of force and while the Government’s Shock-Troopers are armed as Terminators, us peasants better start thinking of another way to overcome our nightmares.

This brilliant little article from Theodore Dalrymple sums up for our predicament.  It was not the immigrants who invaded, it was our own self-loathing bleeding-heart liberals who invited them.  And not for humanitarian reasons either but to create a divide and rule strategy, dishonest gerrymandering and just plain immoral acts against Britain’s own underclass.

CHRISTIANITY HAS BEEN DEMOTED BY THE POLITICAL CLASS

BY FAR the most significant thing about the case against Benjamin and Sharon Vogelenzang was that it reached a court of law in the first place. This evangelical Christian couple who run a hotel were accused of making derogatory remarks about the religion of one of their guests, Ericka Tazi, a Muslim convert, and thereby spreading religious hatred and contempt.

Mrs Tazi was found to have exaggerated the couple’s verbal abuse grossly but the fact that the case was thrown out of court should not blind us to the insidious and creeping reign of terror that the Government has introduced in Britain by facilitating this kind of prosecution.

While the criminal justice system actively promotes real crime by its refusal to repress it vigorously, it attempts to make criminals of Mr and Mrs Vogelenzang because they expressed forthright Christian beliefs.

For myself I do not much care to be buttonholed by religious enthusiasts but in a free country that is a situation with which citizens must be expected to cope on their own without resort to the courts.

Apart from this, however, there is the strong suspicion that if the boot had been on the other foot, if the Vogelenzangs had complained about remarks made by Mrs Tazi about their religion, no case would have come to court.

THE reason for the difference in approach is an officially-sponsored indifference or hostility to anything which might be considered part of the European and British cultural and religious heritage, combined with a tender regard for any non- European and non-British cultural heritage.

This is now so marked a trait that it could almost be called racist. No British minister would go to Brick Lane in East London and say it was horribly Bangladeshi but a British minister had no compunction at all in complaining of an institution that it was “horribly white”.

British intellectuals, as George Orwell once remarked, have long harboured a hatred of their own country and its culture. This attitude has deeply infiltrated the political class and has therefore come to affect legislation. All cultures are equal except ours, which is the worst.

The first thing to notice about this attitude is that it is insincere. Those who adopt it are not genuine admirers of other cultures, for genuinely to admire other cultures it is necessary seriously to study them. To know another culture is not just a matter of slipping down once in a while to a restaurant that serves its cuisine: it is very hard work indeed and the more different that culture is from one’s own the harder the work it is.

So when members of our political class express their adherence to multiculturalism they are not expressing their love of other cultures, they are expressing hatred of their own and it is this which explains the discrepancy in the way a Christian who derides Islam can now expect to be treated by comparison with a Muslim who derides Christianity. The hatred of that section of the political class for their own country’s culture, traditions and past is insincere in another sense also.

By expressing that hatred they imagine themselves to be exhibiting their own moral superiority for all the world and especially the intelligentsia, to see. Their hatred is actually moral exhibitionism. We all know the kind of odious patriot who believes everything in his own country is best merely because it is his own and who therefore despises every thing about all other countries, from their language to their cooking to their way of dress.

Our political class is a mirror image of this kind of person but preens itself on being morally superior to him.

There is a yet more cynical reason for the political class’s hatred of their own culture: it is politically advantageous to them. The mass immigration that has been permitted into Britain in the last few years, with the concomitant ideological glorification of the multi cultural society, has had as its purpose the production of a permanent change in the nature of the British population, which can be relied upon to vote for ever for the kind of politicians who brought it about.

It is one thing to encourage immigration because your commerce is so strong that there is a labour shortage but quite another when neither of those conditions obtains. Our commerce was never strong and there never was a labour shortage. We imported people while there was still mass unemployment (admittedly disguised as sickness) merely to create a vote bank for those who brought this about.

NO ONE wants a blind or bigoted patriotism that manifests itself as xenophobia and ignorant rejection of all that is foreign. It is good to be open to others but self-hatred is neither attractive nor constructive. It is not only insincere but unjustified, as a walk through the National Portrait Gallery would prove to anyone with an open mind.

We are fortunate enough to be the inheritors of a tradition as great as (though not necessarily greater than) any that exists in the world. Why should we reject it? I write these words from India, where it is far easier to find genuine and knowledgeable admirers of British culture than it is among our own political class. This surely is the saddest possible commentary on our condition.

To build the new order, the Bastards that Be have to destroy the old order.  Family, religious, cultural, tribal and national allegiances are a hinder to the Masters plan for domination.  Individuals are weak and easy to manipulate and control, whereas those in strong teams are formidable foes.  And to add evidence to this, look at how long NuGov and Co. have been around for, no matter what the scandal.

Whatever happens in the future, it’ll involve a lot of hard work.  If it is under the corporate ownership of a few families, it will be soul-destroying, if under the National and Community spirit of co-operation and good-will, it will be back-breaking.  Either way, sweat, blood and tears await some of us while the fruits of success will be enjoyed by those lucky few able to escape the trap.

At least the European Union, for all it’s faults, and they are many, have the BNP’s very own Mr Griffin in their Copenhagen delegation.  One the few who have resisted the bullying / bribing of the Establishment to continue his fight for the little man, and this time world-wide.

According to the Telegraph, Mr Griffin has compared the World Leaders gathered at these Talks to mass murderers such as Stalin and Mao.  The reason for the comparison is simple.  The two Communist Leaders caused, on purpose, mass starvation killing millions of their own people.  Fast forward to Copenhagen and the Bastards that Be wish to use arable land for biofuels which will hike up food bills and to pay for the conversion, hike up energy prices meaning less financial freedom for the world’s poor while the Super Rich carry on as normal.  And of course, when people cannot afford the basics, food and warmth, then we will see the world’s population plummet.

This mindless musing would be longer but some of us have got to keep the economy going and I don’t see Gordon Brown & Co. doing much so.

One of the twelve EU delegates sent to Copenhagen, Mr Griffin has an opportunity to shine once more and show what standing up actually entails.  And being the Saint that he is, has set up a twitter account to keep us all posted.

The Evening Standard today has a few stories exposing the weakness of our open border policy all dated 14th December 2009, not only with those illegal immigrants that sneak in and commit crime but also those EU Nationals to escape theirs.  This isn’t a rant about the “criminal immigrants” but a rant at our so-called protectors who have sat back and watched this happen, surely that is gross neglect and the people involved should face an inquiry.

Let’s start with Mr Jean Jacques Lemonga, an illegal Congolese immigrant who was part of a ‘black money’ scam who is now staying at one of Her Majesty’s many Time-Out centres for ‘rehabilitation’ and when released, most probably slip back under the radar for the article contains this reminder of our State Apparatus that would make a child blush with embarrassment:

Next we have an Essex Builder who happens to be an alledged Albanian gangster involved in a very serious crime.  The builder, Ardian Rragami, posed as a Kosovan named Ardian Gashi and claimed political asylum, most probably getting it yet then began a nice new life until Scotland Yard’s extradition squad arrested him for an extradition hearing.  The alledged crime is:

Rragami is wanted in Albania, where he is alleged to have shot a man after an argument in a bar in July 1998. He has appeared at City of Westminster magistrates’ court on an extradition order.

So here we have a Albanian criminal who escaped justice in his home country and just so happened to slip through with the mismanagement of the Home Office that is becoming too darn consistent for my liking.  Suppose the best thing is this piss-take won’t cost as Mr Lemonga’s stay here, why hasn’t some sacrificial employee been thrown to quench our thirst?  Until they do, the Home Office will continue to bugger it up.  And when the little fish is humiliated from office, for the Corruptibles should surely know by now that this it isn’t the end of their political career but the beginning of a new glittery one in the EU behemoth, hidden until further needed (or retired on a vomit-inducing pension if they’re EU puppets to the end).  Today’s Polichickens have always made sure they have safe little jobs to scurry to if elected politics fails and one of their better plans was to create new safe jobs away from the prying eyes of Joe Public.  That or a peerage of course.

Hiding in London, the Polish brothers wanted for child rapes

The Polish brothers, Wojciech and Dariusz Glowacki, aged 28 and 32 respectively, are wanted for at least three rapes and sex assaults on girls aged under 18.

The attacks took place in Poland between September 2000 and January 2001, after which the Glowackis are thought to have fled.

Police say intelligence links them to Acton or Slough.

6. Florin Dumitru, 22, Romanian, wanted for armed robbery in Romania. Links with Birmingham.
7. Gintautas Rupslaukis, 36, Lithuanian. Wanted for kidnap, robbery and extortion. Links with Manchester.
8. Marcin Grabowski, 32, Polish. Wanted for firing a semi-automatic machinegun into a Polish bar.

British Muslims most patriotic in Europe

A report has found that on average 78 per cent of Muslims identify themselves as British, compared with 49 per cent who consider themselves French and 23 per cent who feel German.

The findings suggest that Muslims may be better integrated in Britain than in other parts of Europe and will reopen the debate about the merits of multiculturalism.

The study by the Open Society Institute, funded by the financier and philanthropist George Soros, was conducted over two and a half years and involved 2,200 in-depth interviews and 60 focus groups in 11 cities across Europe with large Muslim communities.

In Britain, researchers focused on Leicester and Waltham Forest, east London, where they found that levels of patriotism were even higher among second-generation Muslims.

In Leicester, 72 per cent of Muslims born abroad said they felt British but 94 per cent of those born in Britain said the same.

The debate echoes a Gallup survey earlier this year that found more Muslims identify themselves with being British than the rest of the population.

That survey found that 77 per cent of Muslims say they “identified with the UK” compared with only 50 per cent of the public at large.

Muslims also outscored the general public for their belief in courts, honest elections, financial institutions and the media.

The result of the surveys will fuel an on-gong debate on the merits of multiculturalism that has seen Britain compared poorly with other countries of Europe which have insisted that Muslims integrate into their way of life.

France banned Muslim pupils from wearing headscarves in classrooms five years ago and last month Switzerland voted to ban the building of new minarets.

In Germany, Muslim immigrants have only been allowed citizenship since the 1990s.

The Soros report found that 55 per cent of Muslims across the EU believe that religious and racial discrimination have risen in the past five years.

Nazia Hussain, director of the research project, said: “There is a disturbing message that emerges from these findings. Even though Muslims overwhelmingly feel British, they’re not seen as British by wider society.

“That said … there has been a policy of trying to accommodate difference here and it appears to be paying off.”

Climategate: Gore falsifies the record

Al Gore has studied the Climategate emails with his typically rigorous eye and dismissed them as mere piffle:

Q: How damaging to your argument was the disclosure of e-mails from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University?

A: To paraphrase Shakespeare, it’s sound and fury signifying nothing. I haven’t read all the e-mails, but the most recent one is more than 10 years old. These private exchanges between these scientists do not in any way cause any question about the scientific consensus.

And in case you think that was a mere slip of the tongue:

Q: There is a sense in these e-mails, though, that data was hidden and hoarded, which is the opposite of the case you make [in your book] about having an open and fair debate.

A: I think it’s been taken wildly out of context. The discussion you’re referring to was about two papers that two of these scientists felt shouldn’t be accepted as part of the IPCC report. Both of them, in fact, were included, referenced, and discussed. So an e-mail exchange more than 10 years ago including somebody’s opinion that a particular study isn’t any good is one thing, but the fact that the study ended up being included and discussed anyway is a more powerful comment on what the result of the scientific process really is.

These people are examining what they can or should do to deal with the P.R. dimensions of this, but where the scientific consensus is concerned, it’s completely unchanged. What we’re seeing is a set of changes worldwide that just make this discussion over 10-year-old e-mails kind of silly.

In fact, as Watts Up With That shows, one Climategate email was from just two months ago. The most recent was sent on November 12 – just a month ago. The emails which have Tom Wigley seeming (to me) to choke on the deceit are all from this year. Phil Jones’ infamous email urging other Climategate scientists to delete emails is from last year.

How closely did Gore read these emails? Did he actually read any at all? Was he lying or just terribly mistaken? What else has he got wrong?

Actually the e-mail archives are named by Unix timestamp, ranging from Thu, 07 Mar 1996 14:41:07 GMT through to Thu, 12 Nov 2009 19:17:44 GMT. This is a strong indicator they are extracted from an enterprise archive, probably by the FOIA Compliance Officer and not hacked from individual’s workstations.

The MET Office, that famous institution that guesses the weather making millions of us leave our brollies (umbrellas for the uninitiated) at home and getting wet for putting our faith in such buffoons.  Well, they’ve had another guess.  And they say it is going to be a scorcher.  And not only that, but dum dum dum, Climate Change is to blame.

Copenhagen climate conference: Met Office predict 2010 will be warmest on record

Next year will be the hottest on record, the Met Office has predicted, as scientists released the latest figures supporting evidence for climate change

A new forecast for 2010 predicted it will be almost 1F (0.6C) higher than the long term average of 57F (14C) across the globe as a result of natural weather patterns and global warming.

The figures, presented at the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen, come as scientists released a statement claiming global warming is “unequivocal” following ‘Climategate’.

Climate sceptics allege that emails stolen from the University of East Anglia show scientists were willing to manipulate the data to show global warming.

In response the Met Office has gathered 1,700 signatures from 100 scientific institutions including the Royal Society.

It reads: “We, members of the UK science community, have the utmost confidence in the observational evidence for global warming and the scientific basis for concluding that it is due primarily to human activities.”

Earlier in the week the Met Office revealed that the noughties will the warmest decade on record and 2009 will the fifth warmest since the 1850s.

The new forecast predicted 2010 will warmer than 1998, that was 0.9F (0.5C) above average and the hottest year on record so far. The warming is expected because of the El Nino, an atmospheric phenomenon over the Pacific, which warms the Southern Oceans.

The Met Office said the latest figures is also further evidence of the world warming.

However sceptics point out that the Met Office said 2007 would be the warmest on record, but it was not in the top five. The weather service also drew criticism for claiming this year’s wet summer would be a “BBQ” summer.

Lord Lawson of Blaby pointed out that temperatures have been constant since 2001 and accused the Met Office of “misrepresenting” the data to support the argument for global warming.

“As a result of the absence of any recorded 21st century warming trend, the formulation now favoured by climate campaigners is that the last decade has been the warmest since records began,” he said. “It is rather as if the world’s population had stopped rising and all the demographers could say was that global population had been the highest ever recorded.”

Nopenhagen must be clutching at straws if they’re going to pull in the MET Office, especially after the complete cock-ups over the last few years they’ve been responsible for.  This entire episode is getting beyond a joke.  We all know this is just a pretext for a trade-off, and with so many Corruptibles in one place, a deal will be reached that will benefit all involved.  And I very much doubt us peasants will get a slice of the pie.

New alliance to tackle homophobia in football

The TUC today (Thursday) announced a new alliance of unions and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) campaigners to tackle the prejudice faced by LGBT people in football.

Representatives of the Professional Footballers Association, Pride Sports, Kick it Out!, Schools Out!, the LGBT Sports Network and the Brighton-based Justin Campaign came together with members of the TUC LGBT committee to form a new alliance at the TUC headquarters in London yesterday afternoon.

The organisations have agreed to coordinate their efforts to take action against homophobia at all levels of the game. Specific suggestions for how to tackle prejudice will be conveyed to the Football Association, to build on their commitment to deal with the problem. Unions will encourage their members to join in this action.

Millions of people are involved in playing or watching football, from the playground to premier league clubs, but no one dares to be ‘out’ at senior level in the game for fear of the abuse they will endure, says the TUC.

TUC General Secretary Brendan Barber said: ‘At a time when popular attitudes to LGBT people have improved greatly, football grounds remain bastions of homophobic prejudice.

‘Over a long period, campaigns like Kick it Out! have succeeded in making racism unacceptable in football. The TUC believes that something similar is needed to challenge homophobia and we have begun this task today with the launch of a new alliance.’

So TUC, from the bottom of my heart, fuck you.  And if I ever see a TUC member, they will get the sharp end of a Millwall brick in the face for being such retarded degenerates who feel it the one to get Equal Rights is to give some special groups more of em.
