There’s no one online to talk to and I’m really bored so I thought I’d do this…

I decided to cast the characters of the House Of Night books. My only problem is that I can’t find anyone good enough to play Zoey, think if they ever did make a TV show/film it would have to be an unknown. I also didn’t find a Grandma Redbird because I don’t know any old Cherokee women…

Anyway, here it goes:

James Stark – Hunter Parrish from Weeds. He has short hair now that he’s older but I think he’d be a better Stark with longer hair. (I’m not completely satisfied with this choice to be honest)

Heath Luck – Steven R. McQueen from Vampire Diaries. If I think of someone else to play Stark then I think Hunter Parris would be good as Heath too. Steven R. McQueen does seem like a good fit though, his character on Vampire Diaries is similar too (not the reason I picked him though) but I think maybe he’d be better if he lightened his hair…

Erik Night - Chace Crawford from Gossip Girl. Maybe a bit old compared to the rest of them but I just couldn’t think of anyone with his kind of looks who is younger and doesn’t look too boyish and cutsie.

Damien Maslin – Nicholas D’Agosto from Heroes. Good looking but with the cutsie edge that means he could pull off being gay but not really camp.

Jack Twist - Jeremy Sumpter from Peter Pan. Sweet and innocent looking, could pull off the whole weak, girly campness – but maybe a little bit young to be paired with Nicholas D’Agosto?

 
Stevie Rae Johnson – Hayden Panettiere from Heroes. She has the southern belle thing down to a T and just oozes with ‘friendly and innocent’ which matches the first few books but she can pull off the bitchyness for later on in the plot lines. I also considered her as Aphrodite…

Erin Bates – Taylor Swift from…erm..music. There are a lot of pretty blondes in this series and I guess I was kind of running out of ideas when I stumbled upon her. I think she could be quite good as Erin, the whole fashion centred thing would suit her well.

Shaunee Cole – Dana Davis from Heroes (I didn’t even notice this theme until I was typing it up). She can play a right bitch when she wants to but she really pulls off the loyal friend thing.

Aphrodite LaFont – Kaley Cuoco from 8 Simple Rules/Charmed/Big Bang Theory. Just trust me when I say she’d be the perfect Aphrodite!

Loren Blake – Matt Dallas from Kyle XY. He looks pretty much exactly how I imagined Blake to look (don’t really know why). I think his age is about right compared to the rest of them too (maybe not Chace…)

 Professor Dragon Lankford – Ewan McGregor from lots of things. He has the small friendly look to him but would do great in a sword/foil/lightsabre fight and can pull off being dangerous just like Dragon.

Professor Lenobia – Jennifer Garner from lots of things. She looks calm and intellectual but with that kind of other side to her that you don’t want to mess with.

Neferet - Rose McGowan from Charmed. Come on, you know she’d make the perfect Neferet! She’s beautiful, elegant and everyone could easily fall in love with her… but everyone knows she has a twisted side to her.

Kalona – Taylor Lautner from Twilight. No, this wasn’t just an excuse to include him (mainly). I realise that he’s a lot younger than Rose McGowan but he’s only supposed to appear about 19 to Zoey….and perfectly godlike. Agreed?

I think with a cast list like this I know the perfect person to play Zoey… Me! What do you think? (After having Taylor as Kalona I may have to change my opinion on who I want Zoey to end up with…you think I could have Taylor as Stark? I need a hotter Stark!

When the clock strikes 10 on Wednesday nights, I catch “Eastwick” on ABC. The show centers on three women (Rebecca Romjin, Lindsay Price and Jaime Ray Newman) who are discovering that they’re witches — kind of like “Charmed” with a “Practical Magic” vibe.

I thought it would be worthwhile since I’ve noticed a pattern with ABC: Character-driven shows (i.e. “Grey’s Anatomy”) seem to be their thing, albeit not so south of the soap-opera border (“October Road”), they’re solid shows nonetheless.

Turns out I was right. I even got my whole family into it, and you know how hard it is for everyone to agree on a show and not fight over the remote. But we were all spellbound.

The show continues to keep you guessing. You’re not so sure who the villain is or what powers the girls possess.

In the first episode, some moments felt contrived. For example, the girls, who never hung out before, just decided to drink cocktails together because Romjin’s character said it was a weird day. Still, later episodes have flowed much better.

“Eastwick” paired Romjin with Matt Dallas (“Kyle XY”). While ”Kyle XY” piled on the cheese and I wasn’t a fan of the program, Dallas had such charm on “Eastwick” that made you root for them as a couple. And yet, the writers killed him off in last night’s episode.

As far as I can tell, this move was to make room for Romjin’s daughter’s (Ashley Benson) love story. Benson was paired with Dallas’ younger brother.

So, to get rid of the weird “brothers dating a mother-daughter team” scenario, I supposed the writers decided Romjin’s — one of the main stars — storyline wasn’t worth keeping.

In a slightly smarter move, it looks like the writers are moving on from Joanna (Price) and Will (Johann Urb) as a “couple.” (They never actually went out; they just crushed on each other.) Previously, they had put Price in embarrassing situations only to have Urb walk in on her.

I did look forward to those scenes, but I guess you can only have so much of those. For intsance, in one episode, Price was dancing (and I mean, dancing) to Madonna’s ”Like a Virgin.” In my favorite Price-Urb scene, she was smelling her armpits when he strolled in.

That’s the kind of hilarity that comes with “Eastwick” along with the mystery and magic. It’s a guilty pleasure of sorts, but one you can enjoy with your girlfriends as it is propelled forward by the friendship among its stars.

Katy Perry turned 25 years old in style, throwing a “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory“-themed birthday party at Sunset Beach Restaurant in Hollywood on Saturday night, October 24. Her actor boyfriend Russell Brand, and country singers Taylor Swift and Julianne Hough, were among the A-list celebs in attendance. Besides, there were also the likes of JoJo and Perez Hilton.

Guests were required to wear white to the party and they left with neon paint spattered all over them. “They got a little crazy with the paint!” a partygoer told Radar Online. “I wasn’t expecting it but everyone got painted – even Taylor Swift!”

In keeping with the chosen theme, candy and Oompah Loompahs were everywhere and bright colored lights flashed at the entrance. The birthday girl, additionally, donned Oompa-Loompa painted nails. “It was very surreal and very well done. A really great party!” another guest gushed.

On Sunday, October 25, Katy took it to her Twitter to share her feeling about her birthday bash, writing “THAT was MAGIC! I’m SO happy!!!! I am just giggling at random … I think this is how it will be for a while…”

October 24, 2009: White clothing and tons of colorful paint was the theme at Katy Perry’s 25th birthday party at the Beach on Sunset in West Hollywood. Friends (and more than friends) on hand included Russell Brand, Taylor Swift, Perez Hilton, Matt Dallas, JoJo and many other colorfully painted people.

Eu sempre achei SUPER bizarra aquela série Kyle KY XY que tem como um protagonista um garoto que, além de outras coisas entediantes, não tem umbigo. Uhum, isso mesmo.

De qualquer forma, Matt Dallas, que interpreta o mocinho sem umbigo, é beeeem menos entediante que seu personagem. Dá uma sacada no look que o menino escolheu para ir no lançamento do livro de Laura Day (seja lá quem for essa racha, desculpa a ignorância):

Ele apareceu usando sapato com o bico gasto, uma camiseta de malha e ainda aquelas pulseirinhas nojentas que os hippies vendem na praia – e ficou SUPER!

Só faltou uma camadjinha básica de pó para tirar a maionesidade da testa. No mais, essa vibe hi-lo muito me agrada, especialmente vinda de um americano.

A Matt Dallas

Tal vez alguno de ustedes reconozca a Matt Dallas de la seria que fué cancelada la temporada pasada, Kyle YX. Realmente no es muy popular el actor, aunque esta tremendamente guapo; pero no se preocupen aun tiene trabajo. Actualmente forma parte del reparto de Eastwick, una serie basada en el libro  “Las brujas de Eastwick”, de donde basaron también la fabulosa pelicula de los 80´s del mismo nombre. Además Matt se integrará dentro de poco al elenco de una nueva pelicula sobe la popular historia de Bonnie y Clyde, protagonizada por Hillary Duff la cual seguro será una verguenza, por más bonito que este Matt.

(Season 1, Episode 3)

So, there’s a Southwick? Is this the town of Wick and these are just cute nicknames for the different edges?

We’re three episodes in now, and the show is starting to lose my attention. What’s supposed to sustain us through the coming weeks? How long with the Darryl Van Horne story string out? I guess it’s just the slow development of the investigations into him and the slow empowering of these women through their new abilities.

Certainly, Kat could use some empowering. Every time Ray seems to show a shred of growing decency (character growth?) he almost immediately degrades back down to his neo-neanderthalic tendencies. The man is maybe one full step above caveman in his thinking.

Unfortunately, him berating his wife for daring to have friends outside of their marriage is one that is all too common. My wife lost a good friend because her husband doesn’t believe she should be doing anything but being an attentive wife and mother.

In fact, I’m always amazed at how many of our friends have a horrific bastard as the man in their lives. And they stay with them. That’s what Kat’s problem is. Now that she’s had twenty or so of Ray’s kids, she fells obligated to stick with him.

Oh, and can I give kudos to Mrs. Gardener for having such an amazing body after having that many children. It’s an astonishing achievement.

I loved the subtle use of her powers in the pool. How it was cold when Ray jumped in, but suddenly got warmer when she got in. Until Ray was a dick and it started to freeze. It made me wonder if Kat could inadvertently hurt herself as well? She appeared to come close with the ice.

I also got a kick out of Roxanne’s trip to the fake medium. My wife described her abilities to my son as she can see the future, and kill people. That does seem to be the case. Her abilities when she’s conscious always seem to have to do with killing, or nearly killing people. It’s a little disturbing.

Roxanne continued to struggle with the near-rape of her daughter, this time seeing the spirit of the now-dead boy haunting her at every turn. The idea that she needed to be sorry for his death was a little disturbing to be because he was a remorseless little bastard for nearly raping Mia. He’ d have done it, too, if Roxanne and Darryl hadn’t shown up when they did.

Does she have to feel sorry for this guy? Really? Maybe I’m too much of a dick about shit like that.

(Season 1, Episode 2)

Let the investigation into Darryl Van Horne begin. You have to figure that Joanna, with her desire to be a top investigative reporter, would go after the mystery that is Mr. Van Horne. And while he’s still being pretty nice, I think we all know that won’t necessarily last. Unless we’ve never read the book or seen the movie.

It is interesting, however, to see poor Joanna struggling to get the photographer off of her, now that she’s convinced him he liked her due to her power of suggestion. How much would that suck? To finally have the person of your desires coming at you constantly, and you can’t have him/her because it isn’t authentic.

Oh who am I kidding, most of us probably wouldn’t care. We’d totally hit that!

Speaking of hit, wow was that jackass kid who tried to rape Roxie’s daughter Mia cocky. I wanted every horrible thing that she wanted to happen to him as well. I wonder, though, if it was Roxie that made it happen, or perhaps Kat. Kat seems to have the abilities more along those lines. Either that, or all three women are just tapping into their full capabilities.

Speaking of that, the ongoing visions that Roxie is having about her now-upstairs-neighbor are certainly disturbing. I was pleased when she saw that he didn’t have a scar, but as it was a vision of the future, that was no reason to think he woudln’t get one.

What I don’t know is why he would brand himself. I’m sure it’s part of something he’s up to, but if he was planning on doing it, wouldn’t he have been shocked that Roxie knew that. I wonder if he originally had no harmful intention toward her, but that’s changed as she appears to “know” things about him.

How about that investigation? It would have been a hoot to see the young Darryl Van Horne Sebastian Hart with the three women from the film, but I guess Cybill Shepherd will do. Her claim that she’s the one who killed him certainly leaves you wanting to know more.

DEDICADO A CHACAL, también conocido como el chico de los números

El mundo catódico está que arde esta semana aquí en Estados Unidos. El lunes dio el pistoletazo de salida para todas las series, así el lunes hubo entrega doble del doctor jonkie más famoso de Fox. Sólo os puedo reseñar lo que dice la publicidad, que para salvarse deberá ayudar a otros pacientes, y eso no lo verá con buenos ojos su psiquiatra. Os recuerdo que estuve en el concierto de U2, ese fue el motivo por el que me perdí la premiere.

El martes pudimos ver el piloto de “The Forgotten”, que podríamos traducir como “Los olvidados”. Esta serie está protagonizada por Christian Slater, que da vida a Alex Donovan. Esta producción del todo poderoso Jerry Bruckheimer viene a ser una variante de “Caso abierto”, no ha tenido mucha repercusión mediática. A mi me pareció más de lo mismo. Nada reseñable. Bueno sí, que por fin el señor Slater ha encontrado el lugar que le pertenece y de donde nunca debió salir, el mundo catódico. Y no sé yo si continuará, porque la repercusión ha sido muy escasa.

“THE FORGOTTEN”-TRAILER

El miércoles todos esperábamos el estreno de dos series, la primera suponía el reenceuntro de Courteney Cox con las grande audiencias en EEUU, tras el fracaso de “Dirt”. Para ello ha regresado un territorio cómodo para ella como actriz, al de la comedia con “COUGAR TOWN”. La serie no está mal. Courtney interpreta a Jules una mujer divorciada de mediana edad, que posee un hijo de unos 14 años que va al instituto, y dos amigas que no se aguantan entre ellas. Una es más joven, rebelde y comparten trabajo, se dedican a vender casas, y la otra es más conservadora y de la misma edad de la protagonista. Las grandes situaciones cómicas nacen de cómo todos esos mundos tiran de Jules hasta que la situación es insostenible. Por ejemplo, porque la sociedad entiende que un hombre puede salir con una mujer de menor edad que él, y en el caso de una mujer no. Esta serie escrita por Kevin Biegel, guionista habitual de “South park”, “Scrubs” o del film, “Yo, yo mismo e Irene”, juega  a ser rebelde, todo lo que se puede ser dentro del Prime Time. ¿Continuará? Quién sabe. Puede que sí, sobretodo si explotan la bis más cómica de la actriz. Aunque siempre le quedará la franquicia “Scream” donde refugiarse para pagar la hipoteca. A mi me pareció un piloto correcto en el que no han terminado de explotar todas las posibilidades, me hizo sonreir, punto.

“COUGAR TOWN”-PROMO

Luego pudimos ver el piloto de otra serie, esta tenía como aliciente que estaba basada en los personajes de la novela de John Updike, se llama “EASTWICK”, y sí, como bien os imagináis es una readaptación del libro “Las brujas de Eastwick“, que en su momento fue llevada a la gran pantalla en 1987 por George Miller, con un elenco de quitar el hipo, integrado por Jack Nicholson, Cher, Susan Sarandon y Michelle Phiffer, y en ella aparecía en un personaje secundario Veronica Cartwright, si nuestra queridísima Lambert de “Alien”, que vuelve a interpetar a Bun. Bien, Ashley Benson, Rebecca Romijn y Lindsay Price sustituyen al trío cinematográfico, y Jon Bernthal es el encargado de luchar contra la imagen de un Nicholson en pleno estado de gloria. La única que repite es Miss Cartwright, que acaba en coma, y no sabemos que juego dará en la serie porque si en el primer capítulo ya cae en coma, a saber que le tienen deparada los guionistas a esta gran actriz. La serie como bien os podéis imaginar es más pueril, porque se emite en Prime Time, así que el sexo es muy edulcorado. Y ahí es donde flaquean las tres actrices, porque no tienen ni la fuerza ni el carisma para poner a tono a la audiencia sin enseñar nada que no deba ser visto en este horario. No saben ser sugerentes, al igual que Jon Bernthal que le faltan kilos de mala leche para interpretar un personaje tan peculiar y con miles de dobleces. Entre el reparto hemos podido ver al protagonista de Kyle XY, que por fin Matt Dallas abandona papeles de teenager, para interpretar a hombres hechos y derechos, lo hace bien y salva su parte del guión, es de los mejorcitos del reparto, todo sea dicho.

“EASTWICK” -TRAILER

Pero claro, el plato fuerte de la semana estaba por llegar. Imaginaos que un buen día supuestamente todos perdemos la conciencia a la vez durante dos minutos y 17 segundos, y nos trasladamos al futuro, concretamente a la fecha 29 de abril del 2010. Seis meses después.  Esa es la propuesta del episodio piloto de la serie “FLASHFORWARD”, basada en el libro homónimo de Robert J. Sawyer en el que se realizará una crónica de lo que pasa cuando el mundo se “desconecta” durante dos minutos y 17 segundos y se provoca una imagen del futuro que afecta a todos por igual. La adaptación ha corrido a cargo de David S. Goyer que posee un currículo un tanto irregular desde haber participado en el guión de “Batman Beguins” y “El caballero oscuro” a películas de peor calidad como “The unborn” que en España se estrenó bajo el título de “La semilla del mal”, y por Brannon Braga, que ha sido guionista de “Star Trek: la próxima generación”, de la mítica “24” o de la segunda entrega de “Misión Imposible”. Estos dos escritores anoche aseguraron en un videochat en la web de la cadena ABC, donde les hicieron una entrevista en exclusiva, que ya tienen escrito el final de la primera temprada, así como el final de la serie. El piloto lo ha dirigido Goyer y seamos francos, el arranque más “Lost” no puede ser, y no lo digo para mal, sino como un acierto. Se han gastado la friolera de 7 millones de dólares en crear un ambiente absolutamente apocalíptico, y los resultados son muy bueno, la factura del piloto es impecable, y muy interesante la trama, que en parte parece heredera de “Lost”, pero en este caso se trata de un único salto temporal, y a partir de aquí los guionistas juegan con el destino y la posibilidad de alterarlo. Porque a algunos les gusta lo que han visto, pero a otros no, porque inclusive mueren.

“FLASHFORDWARD”-TRAILER

Los homenajes a “Lost” recorren el piloto desde una vaya donde se anuncia la compañía aérea “Oceanic” hasta la aparición en uno de los papeles principales de Sonya Walger, que da vida a Penny en ‘Perdidos’, y aquí interpreta a Olivia, una cirujana casada con un policía exalcohólico llamado Mark Benford, interpretado por otro conocido actor, hablo de Joseph Fiennes, que entre otras cosas participó en su día en la película ‘Shakespeare enamorado’.  Y remataron el capítulo con la aparición de Dominic Monaghan, sí amigos, el Charlie de “Perdidos” Lo que está claro es que de los cuatro pilotos este si que está llamado a continuar, a nosotros nos entusiasmo la propuesta, el resto ya veremos si desaparece de parrilla o no, os mantendremos debidamente informados.

“FLASHFORWARD” – Promo 2

Después pudimos ver en la CBS el inicio de la segunda temporada de “EL MENTALISTA” con títulos de crédito renovados, con un aire más pop, pero las tramas siguen la misma línea, con los mismos actores Simon Baker, Robin Tunney, Amanda Righetti y Tim Kang, que van resolviendo casos, pero la gran novedad es que les han apartado del caso de psycho killer JOHN, el rojo, que os recuerdo había matado a mujer e hija de Patrick, porque sostienen que el víctima, y por eso no debe estar involucrado, así entra en juego un nuevo personaje que obviamente no se llevará nada bien con el equipo, porque será quien esté al mando de esa investigación. Así que más de lo mismo. No ha grandes novedades, al igual que las habido en CSI, en sus múltiples variantes, Vegas, Miami.

“EL MENTALISTA” - New Fall Series Preview

Esta noche arrancan las nuevas temporadas en la CBS de “Medium”, “Entre fantasmas” y “Numbers”, si hubiera algo que reseñar, os lo haría saber. Pero sin duda alguna y es el siguiente hito de la semana, aquí todos esperamos a las nueve horas del domingo no para ver el arranque de la nueva temporada de “Mujeres desesperadas” con boda incluida o “Caso abierto”. No. Todos estaremos ante el televisor a las nueve de la noche porque queremos y ansiamos ver la inquietante cuarta temporada del psychokiller más famoso de la ciudad de Miami, hablo de “DEXTER” que por lo que podemos ver en los anuncios va a ser papá.

“DEXTER” TRAILER CUARTA TEMPORADA

Los dos siguientes platos fuertes en el terreno de la comedia arrancan el lunes en la CBS, son la nueva temporada de “Cómo conocí a vuestra madre” y “The Big Bang Theory” que a estos les dejamos en Alaska pasando frío.

Por cierto, me despido de vosotros con un anticipo, el 3 de noviembre arranca el remake televisivo de “V” en la cadena ABC, ayer lo anunciaron a bombo y platillo, lo único que me llamó la atención es que pudimos ver a Juliet, la lostie en uno de los papeles principales. I find myself thinking the same thing I’ve thought each time they tried to adapt the book/film to the television medium: how can they sustain an ongoing narrative?

That’s not to say that I don’t think the three women are capable of carrying a series, it’s just that the story of Darryl Van Horne has kind of a built in end-date doesn’t it? I guess, after that storyline you can come up with other nemeses for the girls.It does make me sad for Eureka and Sheriff Carter, though. It looks like Tess left Eureka to move to Eastwick where she’s already married to a jackass with five kids. But that’s not even the worst of it. John Stamos lost his wife to Kyle XY? Shocking, I know. At least Sara Rue (Less Than Perfect) is there. Something tells me she will be the voice of reason for Joanna, and possibly all the girls

The character of Joanna took me the longest to warm up to. In fact, when the episode started, I was ready to write off the show completely in large part because I did not care for Lindsay Price’s acting. However, she seemed to get more comfortable in her role as the episode progressed and she came out of her shell.

There were some plot and dialogue elements that rang a little false to me. As an example, when Kat (Jaime Ray Newman) was yelling at her husband and asked if it would take the earth moving for him to get out of his hammock, and then it did. He accused her of doing it. And he was serious. Now I know he’s portrayed as dumb, but even most dumb people wouldn’t immediately assume that someone intentionally moved the earth.

Now by the time he was getting struck by lightning at her words, he had reason to suspect her. I’m just not sure how he’s going to get custody based on her being weird for a few days. He’s a drunk with no job. And she’s worried he can do it?

It took me a bit to warm up to Paul Gross as Darryl Van Horne as well, but I think that’s because Jack Nicholson was so iconic in the role. Maybe they should have gotten Christian Slater to do it … no wait, he’s busy being Forgotten.

Eastwick isn’t a great show, but it’s not a terrible show either. It has the potential to be fun, as the girls learn more about their magic and go down a darker path. So far, it’s about “girl power” at it’s greatest, though Joanna is already learning that her powers of persuasion create only false loyalty. Lessons and magic? And boobs!

Matt Dallas Being Angelically Cute

This summer I studied for three months for the MCATs. I now associate my basement with taking MCAT practice exams. I spent all day studying, then at night I watched hours of television on Hulu. Hey, that’s how I deal! Anyway, towards the end of the summer I started watching Kyle XY again. I had not watched it since the end of the first season. It took me about a week to watch the last two seasons. The degree of my obsession with this show is frightening. First of all, for all the people who say it was stupid, maybe it was a bit. But the show evolved in a way I have never seen a show evolve before. This show was awesome. And I LOVE Matt Dallas. The dude is just great. I heard a rumor he was gay, but I don’t know, and I don’t care. He is still talented and gorgeous! No wonder Katy Perry had him in her Thinking Of You video. The character Kyle has a strange innocence/prophet/humanity/otherworldiness to him. And I am defintely a Kyle/Jessi fan. I probably will post about the ridiculously AMAZING music on every episode of that show in my music section. I dare say as good as the music on the O.C.???

Se você não aguenta mais esperar pelo retorno da sua série favorita, tenho uma boa notícia, algumas delas já tem data para volta ao ar. A premiada Mad Men retorna no dia 16 de agosto no AMC nos EUA, aguardada terceira temporada, vai contar com o retorno de Donald Draper (Jon Hamm) e a nova vida que ele vai encontrar na agência de publicidade que envolve todo o enredo da série. Para aquecer os fãs o canal vai exibir no dia 10 de agosto uma maratona com todos os 13 episódios da segunda temporada.

Já na rede ABC anunciou o retorno da chata, mais querida por muitos, Brothers & Sisters para o dia 27 de agosto, enquanto a nova série Eastwick estréia no dia 23 de setembro. A série é baseada no livro de John Updike e no bom filme As Bruxas de Eastwick, e irá contar a história de três mulheres que descobrem ter poderes de bruxa.

O elenco recheado de rostos conhecidos como a linda Rebeca Romjin (Ugly Betty,X-men), Ashley Benson (Days of your lives), Sara Rue (Big Bang Theory) e Matt Dallas (Kyle de “Kyle XY”). Desde 1992 foram feitas duas tentativas de transformar o filme em série, mas ambas não conseguiram ir para frente. A série será acompanhada com atenção pelo blog, que aposta no sucesso dela.

A BBC America estréia  a terceira temporada no dia 12 de setembro da série Robbin Hood, que tenta contar a famosa história do ladrão na telinha, na terceira e última temporada, vai mostrar a morte de Marian e Robin em busca de vingar a morte de sua amada.

Otra que se va.

Pero esta vez es distinto. Se va cancelada, sin final y para siempre. En España ya la han despedido por la puerta de atrás de la forma más rápida e indolora posible.

Se trata de Kyle XY. Una de las grandes apuestas de cuatroº y uno de los últimos grandes fracasos de audiencia.

El declive ya venía de lejos, de los USA, pero aún así da cierta extrañeza como una serie que prometía tanto y cuya dos primeras temporadas eran bastante buenas, ha acabado así.

Y el acabar no es más que no dar un final y que ya si el telespectador tiene curiosidad que interprete el suyo, porque resolución no dan ninguna.

Kyle XY podemos decir que se vino abajo cuando se resolvió el enigma principal de la serie (¿qué era Kyle? ¿un clon, un extraterrestre o  qué?) o cuando pasó a tener más interés las tramas adolescente sobre lo poco de ciencia ficción del producto.

Sinceramente me he resignado a acabar de ver la serie porque, aunque a sabiendas de que no existía final cerrado y que el bajón en la tercera temporada de la serie según el orden español era notable, me interesaban los personajes de Jessi XX y la única trama final sobre ella y la pareja de Kyle y Amanda. Ya que me parecía que poca resolución iban a dar a todo el caos creado en las dos primeras prometedoras temporadas.

Fuera de eso, parece y queda luego confirmado que no hubiera costado mucho hacer un último y excepcional capítulo final donde o todo se arreglase, o dieran una explicación convincente sobre todo lo ocurrido y entramado durante estos casi dos años. Una pena.

Espero seguir viendo en otros lados, ya sean películas o series, a Jaimie Alexander y poco más que añadir. Que mucho lío de Landoc,  padres clones, empresas malvadas y superpoderes previa explotación, para que al final quede la sensación de haber estado viendo otra serie sobre adolescentes en el instituto y bailes de graduación.
