Families are very much Gaia’s sacred womb ..so what better way than to celebrate the EARTH DAY 2013 with wonderful love units, play, enchantments, magic, merry making, and divine connections to our Mother Earth her self on this day!

What You Can Look forward to on this FREE Day of Fun :

* Singing, Dancing & light drumming -please bring an instrument or 2!

* Sharing of food & wine over the picnic
* Lets not forget the Maypole Dancing !!! ……After all Beltane is only around the corner

Young people, Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in any Earthy Costumes, Fairies  Witches, Bees, Flowers, Warlock, or Animals of our planet.

Please dress warmly and in many layers. Bring waterproofs for you and your young ones! Communal food sharing may not suit everyone, especially with those needing special diets.. so please bring what you & your loved ones can eat safely.

Facilities

• Toilets & changing facilities : 2 mins;
• Playgound for Children,
• Food & Drinks can be purchased from the Cafe in the park,
• Ground sheets – ideal to sit on. (we’ll have a large sheet. Please bring your own as back-up)
• Bring old bread – to feed the ducks, swans in the lake if you wish
• Family Boating – if weather permits

Remembering Earth Days past 

So on this morning I spoke out loud about my ongoing frustration with feeling stuck and invisible in a world that I no longer relate to, and yet I’m aware that I’m not fully operating as the awake-self either. Soon, as it always happens with the full expression of my honesty and tears, I felt myself lock into the enormously loving, magnetic frequency. (Please note that I speak about my own direct experience and I describe it as it feels in my own words, never as what another person in the past may have described as their experience.)

The vision that came on the current of this magnetic frequency was something akin to the seasonal ritual of the May Pole Dance. It showed me that most of our misunderstandings as human beings come from the many distractions that ensue as we dance in multiple, colorful images around the Center of Self. We create a variety of images or develop many roles to maintain a sense of self in the world and with each other in order to “make a living”, receive love, security, and other off-center conclusions based on fragmented consciousness. Even when we awaken from the dream and see the insanity and dishonesty of these activities, we are still conditioned deeply enough to be pulled back into the dance with the collective mindset, instead of quickly recalling the ever-present option of moving to the power and wisdom of the Center. The Center is where we stand firmly in the Earth while simultaneously locking into cosmic or universal consciousness – whereby we access all of That Which we Are - to be and radiate into this reality. This includes the attraction of unlimited sustenance and community that matches the frequency of the Center, rather than the random and limited manifestations of such based on the peripheral, temporary images of who we think we are, or who others tell us we are.

So why aren’t we just standing and manifesting in the center all the time? It takes a constant state of attention to know which state we are currently adapted to or identify with – the state of fear, or the state of Grace or Love. These are states of frequency that you will know beyond a shadow of a doubt as you practice “knowing what you feel”. Most people I’ve met do say that their intention is to live in a state of Grace, with no-fear, but how does one identify with that when there is no immediate recollection of it? Or demonstration of it in the world? Grace occurs with a conscious intent to be present with and transform all perceptions and feelings of ugliness and fear with NO self judgement, and allow the higher frequencies of Love to move through and cleanse these false ideas we have accepted through conditioning and identification with what has always been. Okay, seems way easier said than done, and yet this transformation occurs at the level of a very simple switch within. I unknowingly stepped (or fell) onto this switch years ago in San Diego, CA.

After simultaneously quitting my job and the rock band that I fronted, I shouted out loud in a fit of rage and tears in my living room that I wanted to be free, and to live and speak and sing from the truth – instead of dancing around it all the time to appear to fit in and be normal, or cool, or whatever I was expected to be. I also shouted that if this were not possible… I’d rather leave this god-forsaken place. And I meant it.

Everything changed after that, and continues to change. Three CDs of inspired lyrics and music came; poetry, articles, and more. It all manifested effortlessly, and seemingly out of nowhere. And while I did eventually leave San Diego CA, more importantly, I left a god-forsaken state of consciousness. I moved to the mountains of Santa Fe NM, (a great story all on its own) where I continue to be on the eternal adventure and practice of being and operating from the Center of Self and Adapting to the frequency of Grace on Earth. I know instinctively that it’s time to BE this and demonstrate what this looks like in the world, which is a unique display for each and every one of us.

My intention here is to encourage and inspire the ones who may stop and read what I share, and I welcome encouragement and inspiration from you as well. Remember when we all thought, or were told, that we would become enlightened, fly away on light and wings, and get the hell outta this earthly prison? Boy were we wrong. And never have I been so happy to be wrong. Make way for the embodiment of Love on Earth. It is a gift for awakening humanity – far beyond any image you can conjure; or any concept you’ve been taught. It happens when you’re done with all that has come before, and you welcome the Presence of Grace that is centralized, and guides from within.
