Maya Soetoro was born to Indonesian businessman Lolo Soetoro and American cultural anthropologist Ann Dunham and half-sister to the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. While living in Indonesia, she was home schooled by her mother and then attended Jakarta International School and returned to Hawaii and attended the private Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduating in 1988.

Besides being the First Sister Maya has a HawaiiaCertification of Live Birth despite be born in Jakarta Indonesia. Supposedly this certificate was used by the Daily Kos to forge an Obama version. Anyone find it odd that Maya, undisputedly born in Indonesia, would have the same type of document as Barack Obama to forge?

Barack Obama’s Birth Certificate is forged using his sister’s Maya Kassandra Soetoro’s COLB. Publication of a forged document with intent to deceive is a crime. Forgery of an Official Document is a crime. Conspiracy and Misprision are crimes. We may also have prima facie evidence of crimes under INA 1952. Falsifying a Birth Certificate is a crime.

Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the child’s birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence. Statute 338 is in substance and 178 are minor revisions.The Certificate of Hawaiian Birth program was established in 1911, during the territorial era, to register a person born in Hawaii who was one year old or older and whose birth had NOT been previously registered in Hawaii.

Since Hawaii issues “Certificates of Live Birth” to children not born in Hawaii and “Birth Certificates” to children who are born in Hawaii, the only way to know where Hussein Obama was actually born is to view Hussein Obama’s original birth certificate from 1961 that shows the name of the hospital and the name and signature of the doctor that delivered him. The COLB has been show to be fraudulent and is also considered Rebuttable Presumption. The Vault Copy is Conclusive Presumption. Since Barry Soetoro presented the Rebuttable Presumption to the American Public at large, he must now prepare to answer for the Conclusive Presumption. IOWs, he must show from where the COLB was drawn. We do know that Barry in his college days used his Indonesian passport. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship.

Smart Grid: Government spying targets Rural America

I’ve been reading the stimulus bill. When I saw the term Smart Grid on page 232 of the “American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009,” I stopped reading so fast I almost gave myself whiplash. If you haven’t heard about Smart Grid, listen up. Smart Grid is closely related to the National Animal Identification System (NAIS), and both programs are designed to spy on Americans. Even more disturbing than the purpose of these government-condoned intrusions into our lives is the fact that the Obama Administration feels that  Smart Grid is so important that it had to be funded in the stimulus package—which is supposed to be used for emergencies only. What’s the emergency? Why does Smart Grid need to be implemented within 60 days of the bill passing? Here come the answers, and none of them are good.

What is Smart Grid?

Smart Grid is part of a global initiative to manage information, all information. This is not some dire fictional prediction; it exists right now, right here in the United States, and thanks to President Obama, the Secretary of the Treasury can lend the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), a division of the Department of Energy, $3.25 billion to implement Smart Grid:

“(B) the Secretary shall, without further appropriation and ‘without fiscal year limitation, loan to the Western Area Power Administration, on such terms as may be fixed by the Administrator and the Secretary, such sums (not to exceed, in the aggregate (including deferred interest),$3,250,000,000-in outstanding repayable balances at anyone time) as, in the judgment of the Administrator, are from time to time required for the purpose of [...] In carrying out the initiative, the Secretary shall provide financial support to smart grid demonstration projects in urban, suburban, tribal, and rural areas, including areas where electric system assets are controlled by nonprofit entities and areas where electric system assets are controlled by investor- owned utilities.

Ostensibly, Smart Grid is about energy efficiency and climate change. This intelligent power grid gathers information about individual energy use via sensors embedded in the transmission lines and in homes and businesses. The government, via WAPA, will know what temperature you keep your home or business at. If you keep your domicile warmer or cooler than the temperature approved by the federal government, you pay more. To some, this is an acceptable arrangement, until they discover what else Smart Grid can do.

What’s in your closet?

According to IBM, one of the two corporations which will receive most of the money (the other is GE),

The world is becoming instrumented. By 2010, there will be a billion transistors per human, each one costing one ten-millionth of a cent.

The world is becoming interconnected. With a trillion networked things—cars, roadways, pipelines, appliances, pharmaceuticals and even livestock—the amount of information created by those interactions grows exponentially.

All things are becoming intelligent. Algorithms and powerful systems can analyze and turn those mountains of data into actual decisions and actions that make the world work better. Smarter.

Did you catch that? Smart Grid will allow the government to collect information about you, your habits, and possessions. All they need are a few sensors to know what is in your refrigerator; how long you spend in the bathroom; if you smoke in your home; if you drink alcohol in your home; and how many people are in your home or business at any one time. Science fiction? Don’t bet on it. IBM knows different.

 

And if the above statements aren’t enough to get you thinking, how about this:

Nanotechnology e-textiles for biomonitoring and wearable electronics-
If current research is an indicator, wearable electronics will go far beyond just very small electronic devices or wearable, flexible computers. Not only will these devices be embedded in textile substrates but an electronics device or system could ultimately become the fabric itself. Electronic textiles (e-textiles) will allow the design and production of a new generation of garments with distributed sensors and electronic functions. Such e-textiles will have the revolutionary ability to sense, act, store, emit, and move – think biomedical monitoring functions or new man-machine interfaces – while ideally leveraging an existing low-cost textile manufacturing infrastructure.

Here’s the scenario: you buy a pair of socks, using your credit or debit card (cash is already being discouraged). Because of Smart Grid, your house will be able to read the bar code on those socks as you bring them through the door and add them to a list it keeps of your clothes; size, price, origin, when worn, etc. The computer that controls your home’s thermostat and lights also controls your wardrobe, budget, social habits, and even your eating habits. The refrigerator reads the bar codes on your food. Someone with access to that information knows when you eat, what you eat, what you paid for it, and how long something has been in the fridge.

If you’re like me, and do a lot of canning, you’re probably thinking, “so what?” That’s what my initial thought was. It can’t read a bar code if there isn’t one. Hmmm. What if your home’s computer believed that based on how many people live in the home there’s not enough food being purchased? How long do you think it would take the electronic nanny to notify child protective services or other authorities?

Again, this isn’t science fiction. It’s happening right now in South Bend, Indiana, and Florida and California. Now that President Obama’s spending package has been pushed down our windpipes, effectively choking off any opposition, look for development of an electronic super nanny by Big Brother. This is change we can believe in? It’s change alright rural America, and it’s coming for you. Notice on GE’s page there are no pictures of urban or suburban dwellings, only a rural home? An oversight? Not according to Alan Keyes.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Keyes in the summer of 2008. He told me then that rural people should understand that there is a concerted effort to remove all control from rural areas and concentrate it in Washington D.C. After reading about the billions of dollars the White House has allocated to watching its rural citizens, I’d say he hit the nail on the head. We are the targets; the lonely little home on GE’s website might as well have a bull’s eye on the roof. Dr. Keyes told me the Illuminati who are running D.C. are worried about rural people because we are exposed to less media than our urban counterparts: we’re harder to control.

Apocalypse now

One of the largest components of Smart Grid is already being implemented by the USDA; it’s called the National Animal Identification System (NAIS) it requires farmers to implant a RFID tag into the body of all of their livestock–cows, pigs, goats, chickens, sheep, all livestock. The NAIS threatens to destroy small-scale family farms. If you’re not familiar with the NAIS, here are a couple of resources: Downsize DC, NAIS: Too little too late? and NAIS: Let’s do some fuzzy math. Coupled with Smart Grid, the NAIS strengthens the ability of Government officials to control rural Americans as completely as they control people in the cities.

Remember, President Obama believes implementing Smart Grid is urgent. He wants the program to expand quickly, with all of us on the thinking grid by 2011. All of us. Resistance is futile.

           In 1981, with his Pakistani roommate, Barack Obama visited Pakistan. At the time, Pakistan was on the United States State Department travel “warning” list, due to the martial law in the region.

      The Obama campaign acknowledged Obama’s travels to Pakistan, and have clarified that in Obama’s “Dreams of My Father”, Obama mentioned his Pakistani roommates, but had not previously mentioned his college travels until his “foreign policy” experience was called into question during the Presidential campaign.

According to his campaign staff, Mr. Obama visited Pakistan in 1981, on the way back from Indonesia, where his mother and half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, were living. He spent “about three weeks” there, Mr. Obama’s press secretary, Bill Burton, said, staying in Karachi with the family of a college friend, Mohammed Hasan Chandoo, but also traveling to Hyderabad, in India.

 Pakistan was in turmoil in 1981 and ruled of martial law. Millions of Afghan refugees were living in Pakistan, while the Afghan Mujahedeen operated from bases inside Pakistan in their war with the Soviets. One of the leaders that based his operation in Quetta, Pakistan was Usama Bin Laden (The Sheik). Pakistan banned  all non-Muslim visitors unless they were sponsored by their embassy for official business.

Madelyn Dunham, maternal grandmother

On Monday, the day before he was elected, Barack Obama stood before a crowd of swaying supporters in the North Carolina drizzle and said of the grandmother who helped to bring him up: “She’s gone home. She died peacefully in her sleep with my sister at her side … I’m not going to talk about it too long because it is hard for me.”

The death of Obama’s maternal grandmother – within a whisker of his historic victory – seems especially cruel when you consider the influence she had on him. Obama lived in Hawaii with the woman he called Toot (a shortening of “tutu”, the Hawaiian word for grandmother) and his grandfather, Stanley Dunham, throughout his adolescence. It was his grandmother, he once said, who “taught me about hard work. She’s the one who put off buying a new car or a new dress for herself so that I could have a better life. She poured everything she had into me.”

Born in 1922, Dunham was raised in Kansas, and worked as an aircraft inspector during the second world war, before studying at the University of California, Berkeley. When her husband’s job took the family to the 50th state, she went to work at the Bank of Hawaii and, at a time when women were in an even smaller minority in finance than today, she become one of the bank’s first female vice presidents. As one of her former colleagues recently recalled, “She was a top-notch executive to get appointed. It was a tough world.”

Her relationship with her grandson wasn’t entirely straightforward. In his landmark speech on race earlier this year, he noted that she was someone who “loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe”. Still, he said, he couldn’t disown her- she was part of an older world that held fast to views his election will hopefully help quash.

“What Toot believed kept her going were the needs of her grandchildren and the stoicism of her ancestors,” Obama once wrote. “‘So long as you kids do well, Bar,’ she would say more than once, ‘that’s all that really matters.’”

Stanley Ann Dunham Soetoro, mother

Obama has said that his biggest mistake was not being at his mother’s bedside in 1995 when she died of ovarian cancer at the age of 53. In his memoir, Dreams From My Father, he wrote: “Had I known she would not survive her illness, I might have written a different book – less a meditation on the absent parent, more a celebration of the one who was the single constant in my life. I know that she was the kindest, most generous spirit I have ever known.”

Born on an army base in 1942, Stanley Ann Dunham was named after her furniture salesman father, who had wanted a boy. Her father’s job took the family from Kansas to California to Texas, before ending up in Hawaii, where Stanley Ann enrolled at the state university. Here, aged 18, she met Barack Hussein Obama, a Kenyan student. Within a few months they were married and she was pregnant. The marriage didn’t last. Before her son was one, his father and namesake had left to study for a PhD at Harvard and the couple were soon divorced.

Obama’s mother was, by all accounts, intelligent, idealistic and strongly concerned with social justice. After a few years out of college, she returned to the University of Hawaii, where she met her second husband, Lolo Soetoro – she and Barack followed him home to Indonesia in the late 1960s. There she taught English and, anxious that her son wasn’t being challenged at school, began waking him at 4am each day to teach him from a US correspondence course. “This is no picnic for me either, buster,” she said, when he questioned the punishing schedule.

Her second marriage brought her a daughter, Maya, but ended in divorce in 1980. In the meantime, Soetoro had fallen in love with Javanese culture. She eventually gained a PhD in Indonesian anthropology and helped to build a microfinance programme in Indonesia that has been described as her greatest professional achievement, a network of small loans for the country’s impoverished entrepreneurs. Nancy Barry, who worked with Soetoro in the early 1990s, has said that “she was a very, very big thinker”.

In a Time magazine profile of Soetoro earlier this year, Obama said that he felt his mother had “a certain combination of being very grounded in who she was, what she believed in. But also a certain recklessness. I think she was always searching for something. She wasn’t comfortable seeing her life confined to a certain box.” In reaching far beyond the usual boundaries, she showed her son what might just be possible.

Maya Soetoro-Ng, half-sister

If anyone might be expected to dish some amusing dirt, it’s a presidential candidate’s kid sibling. But during the campaign, Obama’s half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng, nine years his junior, emerged as one of his most articulate supporters. The high-school history teacher with a PhD in education has described Obama as “the strong male force” in her life after her parent’s divorce. He helped her to tour prospective colleges, lectured her for reading gossip magazines and took her to her first voter-registration drive. An outspoken feminist herself, Soetoro-Ng believes her brother firmly supports women’s rights. “I’ve been calling him a feminist for the last year,” she says. “People laugh, but I think it’s true.”

Auma Obama, half-sister, and Sarah Obama, step-grandmother

Barack Obama has six surviving half-siblings on his father’s side, and he is particularly close to his older sister, Auma Obama, who grew up in Kenya. Barack wrote to Auma after their father’s death in 1982, and she has said that the letter astonished her: “Barack had the same handwriting as my dad and the same name. It was eerie.”

They corresponded for a while, before meeting up in Chicago, where Barack was working as a community activist. “There was a lot of apprehension,” says Auma. “I had a plan B in case it didn’t work out, but … we just didn’t stop talking when we met – it was absolutely as if we’d lived together all our lives.” In Dreams From My Father, Barack wrote that on meeting her he knew “that I loved [Auma] so naturally, so easily and fiercely that later, after she was gone, I would find myself mistrusting that love”.

In 1988, Barack Obama made his first trip to Africa to visit his father’s family, spending some weeks travelling around Kenya with Auma. It was on this journey that he met Sarah Obama – aka Mama Sarah – his step-grandmother, who had brought up his father from the age of nine. Now 86, Mama Sarah provides an ongoing link to his Kenyan roots, and has paid tribute to his caring, considerate nature. On hearing that he had won, she declared herself “so happy that I don’t know if I will die of happiness!”

From the start of Obama’s campaign it was clear that his partner, Michelle, was never going to fit the old stereotype of an adoring political wife. Instead, in the early days on the trail, her speeches were peppered with references to his failure to clear up his socks or put away the butter – comments that were criticised by some, but which also made her seem refreshingly human. She underlined that theirs is a marriage of equals.

That is fitting for such an accomplished woman. Michelle Robinson grew up in a small bungalow on the south side of Chicago, with her brother, Craig, stay-at-home mother, Marian, and father, Fraser, who carried on supporting the family as a water pump operator after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Michelle followed her brother to Princeton and then went to Harvard Law School and on to a corporate law firm, Sidley and Austin. There she met Barack Obama, when he arrived for a summer job. She was initially his mentor and it apparently took some time for him to persuade her to go on their first date – a trip to see Spike Lee’s film Do the Right Thing.

Soon after seeing her future husband speak passionately about social issues at a community event, Michelle started to reassess what she wanted to do with her life. She left corporate law to start a career in public service, which led to her becoming a vice president at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She gave up the role last year when her campaign schedule became tougher. While right-wing commentators have tried to stir up doubts about her patriotism, she has been a huge asset on the trail, delivering 45-minute speeches, written herself and delivered without notes.

Keen to ensure that her daughters, Malia and Sasha, are as protected as possible, Michelle has said that she is now focused on being “Mom-in-chief”, though she will also, no doubt, be a crucial informal adviser to her husband. Competitive, clever, stylish and grounded, Michelle Obama’s story is just as potent as the president elect’s. “The truth is,” as she noted on the campaign trail, “I’m not supposed to be here. I’m a statistical oddity. Black girl, brought up on the south side of Chicago. Was I supposed to go to Princeton? No. They said maybe Harvard Law was too much for me to reach for. But I went, I did fine.” There’s no doubt about that.

Malia and Sasha Obama, daughters

The best thing about Malia and Sasha is that, at 10 and seven respectively, we know so little about them. The second best thing is that what we do know suggests that they are normal. They want a puppy. Malia says her Dad sometimes embarrasses her. She’s looking forward to decorating her new room. She thinks her Dad sometimes wears silly clothes. In short, they seem fantastic.

Terakhir, saya tunjukkan jasa ayah tirinya Lolo Soetoro dalam memenuhi kebutuhan perkembangan otak Obama. Itulah sumbangan Indonesia bagi Obama yang diberikan ayah tirinya. Hal itu berdasarkan pengakuan Obama sendiri dalam buku memoarnya.

Menanggapi komentar ini perlu saya memberikan latar belakang pendapat saya. Saya telah tunjukkan juga gambaran inteligensi Obama yang tinggi karena kebetulan ayah dan ibunya memperlihatkan tanda-tanda inteligensi yang tinggi, dan ayah tirinya pun demikian seperti tergambar pada kecerdasan Maya Soetoro. Hal itu disinggung pada keterangan di bawah foto Maya Soetoro. Karena itu, belum saya jelaskan bagaimana kemungkinan terjadinya pewarisan itu. Menurut teori genetika, IQ anak lelaki diperoleh dari gen IQ ibunya. Jadi, jika IQ ibu kandungnya Ann Dunham misalnya superior, kemungkinan besar IQ Obama diturunkan dari ibunya, kecuali gen ibunya resesif IQ Obama diperoleh dari gen ayahnya yang dominan. Pewarisan IQ dari ayahnya tampaknya tak terjadi karena ternyata IQ ibunya tinggi. Salah satu evidensi yang terlihat adalah kemampuan ibunya meraih gelar PhD (Doktor). Dalam family tree Obama terlihat juga bahwa turunan jauh Obama dari pihak ibunya ada yang pernah menjadi tokoh politik. Hal ini akan saya telusuri lebih jauh.

Taraf IQ Lolo Soetoro kemungkinan besar tinggi juga antara lain terlihat dari prestasi belajarnya sebagai mahasiswa Geografi UGM yang bagus sampai kemudian dikirim Dinas TNI Angkatan Darat mengambil master di University of Hawaii. Yang lebih jelas terlihat adalah evidensi IQ Maya Soetoro yang kemungkinan besar tinggi karena ia berhasil juga meraih gelar Doktor walaupun sudah berkeluarga. Jadi, kemungkinan besar IQ Maya diwariskan dari gen ayahnya Lolo Soetoro. Pendapat saya ini dapat divalidasi dengan mengamati hasil tes IQ Obama, ayah dan ibunya, Maya, dan Lolo Soetoro. Jika di Indonesia masa itu data ini tak ada karena belum populernya tes IQ masa itu. Mungkin juga hal ini terjadi di Amerika Serikat. Dari keluarga ini, yang masih hidup hanyalah Obama dan Maya. Jika belum ada data IQ, tes masih bisa dilakukan sekarang. Data IQ Obama tidak dapat dianggap sahih berdasarkan pernyataan atau cerita Obama.

Obama di tengah-tengah teman-temannya di SD Besuki, Menteng. Betapa pun kecil, mereka telah turut menyumbang proses pembentukan karakter Obama. Presiden AS yang terkenal adalah yang menunjukkan diri sebagai manusia yang berkarakter, a man of character.

Menurut teori genetika, anak yang terlahir dengan IQ tinggi (katakanlah genius), belum tentu perkembangan potensi kecerdasannya maksimal tercapai jika faktor lingkungan (environment) tidaklah mendukung. Banyak genius yang menjadi gelandangan karena faktor lingkungan tidak mendukung. Dalam tulisan itu, saya gambarkan bagaimana faktor lingkungan keseharian Obama di Jakarta mendukung proses perkembangan potensi kecerdasannya. Faktor lingkungan itu saya soroti dari segi makanan pokok otak, terutama yang menyangkut makanan bergizi (tahu dan tempe) dan kasih sayang. Perihal kasih sayang yang diperoleh Obama dari ibu dan ayah tirinya Lolo Soetoro terungkap dalam buku memoar “The dreams from my Father” dan cerita teman-temannya di SD Fransiskus Asisi dan SD Besuki. Berita koran hari-hasi ini mengemukakan cerita keluarga, Noeke Soegio,keponakan Lolo Soetoro yang tinggal bersama keluarga pamannya Lolo Soetoro di Menteng Dalam, dan dua anak Lolo Soetoro, Yusuf Aji yang lahir tahun 1981 dan Ayu Soetoro yang lahir tahun 1984, hasil perkawinannya dengan Erna Kustina, mahasiswa Fakultas Hukum Undip. Tak tampak fakta kurangnya kasih sayang Lolo Soetoro kepada Obama seperti gejala umum tentang kejamnya ayah tiri. Perlu diingat pula bahwa dalam tradisi pengasuhan orang Jawa, tak ada kebiasaan orang tua Jawa memukul dan menyiksa anak-anaknya.

Lolo Soetoro, yang melatih Obama bertinju untuk tampil berani membela diri, Ibu Obama yang memangku Maya, dan sang bocah bonsor Berry (Barack Obama) di Jakarta. Si Berry senang menggoda teman-teman wanita dengan menunjukkan ulat bulu dan teman-teman laki-laki dengan menunjukkan anak buaya berukuran 70 cm.

Dari tulisan posting itu, saya menunjukkan juga benang merah kasih sayang yang diperoleh Obama dari kakek dan neneknya di Hawaii dengan yang diperolehnya di Jakarta. Dalam posting saya sebelumnya berjudul “Kematian nenek Obama, rahmat tersamar bagi sang cucu & data keluarga Obama”, saya juga menunjukkan kasih sayang yang diperoleh Obama dari kakek dan terutama neneknya di Hawaii sejak Obama dikirim ibunya untuk diasuh kakek ke Hawaii tahun 1971.

Dalam berbagai postingku tentang Obama saya sama sekali tidak mengharapkan Indonesia mendapatkan balas jasa Obama sebagai presiden. Andaikan dalam masa pemerintahannya, Indonesia benar-benar menganggu kepentingan AS dalam kadar semisal Afganistan dan Irak, bisa saja Obama memerintahkan menyerang Indonesia. Variabel bahwa ia pernah 4 tahun hidup di Indonesia tak dapat dianggap signifikan untuk tak menyerang Indonesia. Bahkan, jika Kenya pun menghalangi kepentingan strategis AS, Kenya pun akan diserang. Sepak terjang AS menunjukkan negara-negara mana saja yang mengganggu kepentingan AS dalam kadar yang serius, presiden-presiden AS tak segan-segan memerintahkan penyerangan atau invasi militer.

Maya Soetoro yang berdarah Indonesia memeluk abangnya yang baru lulus SMA di Hawaii. Turunan blasteran Kenya dan ‘bule’ merangkul adiknya yang blasteran Indonesia dan ‘bule’. Lambang hubungan tiga ras yang diharapkan dunia disumbangkan Obama dalam masa pemerintahannya untuk membuat umat manusia tidak saling mendikriminasi.Peace is beautiful.

Saya tak setuju jika kita mengharapkan balas jasa Obama kepada Indonesia karena ia pernah hidup di Indonesia. Naiknya Obama menjadi presiden diharapkan menguntungkan Indonesia. Tetapi, mengharapkan yang berlebihan, apalagi dianakemaskan, menurut saya naif. Yang penting, kita sudah memberi melalui Lolo Soetoro dan teman-temannya di SD Fransiskus Asisi dan SD Besuki Menteng, pars pro toto, yang mewakili masyarkat Indonesia. Memberi lebih terhormat dan mulia daripada mengharapkan balas jasa. Jika balas jasa itu kita tuntut hilanglah makna pemberian itu.

“When I think about my mother,” Obama told me recently, “I think that there was a certain combination of being very grounded in who she was, what she believed in. But also a certain recklessness. I think she was always searching for something. She wasn’t comfortable seeing her life confined to a certain box.”

Obama’s mother was a dreamer. She made risky bets that paid off only some of the time, choices that her children had to live with. She fell in love—twice—with fellow students from distant countries she knew nothing about. Both marriages failed, and she leaned on her parents and friends to help raise her two children.

“She cried a lot,” says her daughter Maya Soetoro-Ng, “if she saw animals being treated cruelly or children in the news or a sad movie—or if she felt like she wasn’t being understood in a conversation.” And yet she was fearless, says Soetoro-Ng. “She was very capable. She went out on the back of a motorcycle and did rigorous fieldwork. Her research was responsible and penetrating. She saw the heart of a problem, and she knew whom to hold accountable.”

Today Obama is partly a product of what his mother was not. Whereas she swept her children off to unfamiliar lands and even lived apart from her son when he was a teenager, Obama has tried to ground his children in the Midwest. “We’ve created stability for our kids in a way that my mom didn’t do for us,” he says. “My choosing to put down roots in Chicago and marry a woman who is very rooted in one place probably indicates a desire for stability that maybe I was missing.”

Ironically, the person who mattered most in Obama’s life is the one we know the least about—maybe because being partly African in America is still seen as being simply black and color is still a preoccupation above almost all else. There is not enough room in the conversation for the rest of a man’s story.

But Obama is his mother’s son. In his wide-open rhetoric about what can be instead of what was, you see a hint of his mother’s credulity. When Obama gets donations from people who have never believed in politics before, they’re responding to his ability—passed down from his mother—to make a powerful argument (that happens to be very liberal) without using a trace of ideology. On a good day, when he figures out how to move a crowd of thousands of people very different from himself, it has something to do with having had a parent who gazed at different cultures the way other people study gems.

It turns out that Obama’s nascent career peddling hope is a family business. He inherited it. And while it is true that he has not been profoundly tested, he was raised by someone who was.

As President-elect Barack Obama ascends to the presidency of the United States, there still remains a looming cloud above his head like the sword of Damocles. If and when that sword will fall plunging America into a constitutional crisis depends on a number of desperate and remarkable variables.

Before I get into these variables, let’s examine what the Constitution says. What are the requirements to become president? Section 1 of Article II of the U.S. Constitution states that a president must:

be a natural born citizen of the United States;
be at least 35 years old;
have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years.
The inevitable constitutional crisis regarding Obama, of course, revolves around his inability (or unwillingness) to produce an authentic Hawaiian birth certificate with the raised certificate stamp that the Federal Elections Commission can independently verify.

I know there are those who say Obama has produced an authentic birth certificate and posted it on his website, but experts and amateurs alike quickly found numerous errors in that document and deemed it a forgery (and a bad one at that).

Philip J. Berg, a Democratic operative and former deputy attorney general of Pennsylvania, has assumed the tragic role of Prometheus, ascended Mount Olympus, the abode of Zeus, and has launched a one-man campaign to force Obama to verify his U.S. citizenship by suing the senator, the Democratic National Committee and the Federal Election Commission, to verify that indeed he is worthy to be president of the United States by producing a real birth certificate.

Here are some of the unanswered issues hanging over the head of President-elect Barack Obama and the question of his American citizenship cited in an earlier article by WND news editor Drew Zahn:

The allegation that Obama was born in Kenya to parents unable to automatically grant him American citizenship;

The allegation that Obama was made a citizen of Indonesia as a child and that he retained foreign citizenship into adulthood without recording an oath of allegiance to regain any theoretical American citizenship;

The allegation that Obama’s birth certificate was a forgery and that he may not be an eligible, natural-born citizen;

The allegation that Obama was not born an American citizen; lost any hypothetical American citizenship he had as a child; that Obama may not now be an American citizen and even if he is, may hold dual citizenships with other countries. If any, much less all, of these allegations are true, the suit claims, Obama cannot constitutionally serve as president.

The allegations that “Obama’s grandmother on his father’s side, half brother and half sister claim Obama was born in Kenya,” the suit states.”Reports reflect Obama’s mother went to Kenya during her pregnancy; however, she was prevented from boarding a flight from Kenya to Hawaii at her late stage of pregnancy, which apparently was a normal restriction to avoid births during a flight. Stanley Ann Dunham (Obama) gave birth to Obama in Kenya, after which she flew to Hawaii and registered Obama’s birth.”

The claim could not be verified by WND inquiries to Hawaiian hospitals, since state law bars the hospitals from releasing medical records to the public;

Even if Obama produced authenticated proof of his birth in Hawaii, however, the suit claims that the U.S. Nationality Act of 1940 provided that minors lose their American citizenship when their parents expatriate. Since Obama’s mother married an Indonesian citizen and moved to Indonesia, the suit claims, she forfeited both her and Barack’s American citizenship.

Unfortunately, just 10 days before the election, a court of appeals judge threw out Berg’s lawsuit challenging the veracity of Obama’s U.S. citizenship status on technical grounds. Judge R. Barclay Surrick, a Jimmy Carter-appointed judge, amazingly (and with a tinge of irony), stated his opinion in part:

In a 34-page memorandum that accompanied the court order, the Hon. R. Barclay Surrick concludes that ordinary citizens can’t sue to ensure that a presidential candidate actually meets the constitutional requirements of the office.

Surrick defers to Congress, saying that the legislature could determine “that citizens, voters, or party members should police the Constitution’s eligibility requirements for the Presidency,” but that it would take new laws to grant individual citizens that ability.

“Until that time,” Surrick says, “voters do not have standing to bring the sort of challenge that Plaintiff attempts to bring.”

Judge Surrick, quoting from Hollander, concludes, “The alleged harm to voters stemming from a presidential candidate’s failure to satisfy the eligibility requirements of the Natural Born Citizen Clause is not concrete or particularized enough to constitute an injury.”

Surrick also quotes Lujan v. Defenders of Wildlife, which stated, in part, “The Supreme Court has consistently held that a plaintiff raising only a generally available grievance about government – claiming only harm to his and every citizen’s interest in proper application of the Constitution and laws, and seeking relief that no more directly and tangibly benefits him than it does the public at large – does not state an Article III case or controversy.”

Constitutionally speaking, Judge Surrick’s reasoning is completely illogical and a total dereliction of his duty as a judge to substantively address this most vital constitutional controversy. Instead, in a gutless manner, Surrick dismissed Berg’s complaint 10 days before the elections on a technicality of standing, which to any rational person begs the question: If Philip J. Berg as an American citizen, a respected Democratic operative and former attorney general of Pennsylvania doesn’t have the “standing” to bring this type of lawsuit against Obama, then who in America does have standing? The good judge in all 34 pages of legal mumbo jumbo didn’t bother to answer this pivotal question.

That Berg’s complaint is not “concrete or particularized enough to constitute an injury” is an amazing admission by any person that went to law school and even more so given the fact that Surrick is a respected appellate judge!

I am somewhat hopeful that Berg will successfully appeal Surrick’s outrageous decision to 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals and then to the United States Supreme Court if necessary, even if technically he doesn’t have standing to hold Obama accountable to the Constitution. Why? Because this is America, and out of 300 million people, someone should give a damn enough about this republic to make sure the person who holds the highest elected office in the land holds it legitimately based on the black letter text of Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution.

Unless and until Obama’s citizenship question is definitively put to rest, then the proverbial sword of Damocles will continue to dangle precariously over his head and America will face 50 lawsuits from all 50 states demanding that President Barack Obama prove that he is an authentic American citizen according to the U.S. Constitution.

Obama kecil bersepeda. Bergerak dan bermain dalam suasana gembira memacu perkembangan otak anak.

Hari minggu 2 November 2008 saya terbitkan post berjudul “Salam sukses bagi Barack Obama, presiden kulit hitam pertama Amerika Serikat!” dan kemarin malam saya terbitkan lagi post berjudul “Kematian nenek Obama, rahmat tersamar bagi sang cucu & data keluarga Obama”. Dua tulisan ini jelas-jelas menyatakan bahwa yang pasti menang adalah si Berry (nama kecil Obama). Ya, itulah kata hatiku. Dan, betapa yakinlah aku setelah melihat wajah Obama yang berurai air mata waktu mengumumkan kematian neneknya di internet. That’s it! Si anak Menteng pasti menang! Orang Barat lebih cenderung tak peduli putih atau hitam, kaya atau miskin, kawan atau lawan, langsung melupakan perbedaan jika sudah menyangkut sikap dan ucapan turut berduka. Banyak yang masih ragu berbalik memilih Obama. Nah, ini kira-kira kunamakan “tear effect”, efek air mata.

Nah, sekarang agak ilmiah sedikitlah. Menurut pendapat saya, kecerdasan otak Obama justru bersemai, bertumbuh, dan berkembang di masa kecilnya di Jakarta. Hasil penelitian tentang otak antara lain menunjukkan hal-hal berikut:

• Fakta menurut para ahli: masa-masa kritis perkembangan otak terjadi pada 6 tahun pertama kehidupan (usia balita)

• Pada usia 4 tahun, perkembangan fisik otak anak (hardware atau perangkat keras otak) mencapai kapasitas 80%

• Pada usia 6 tahun, kapasitas fisik otak mencapai 90%

• Sedangkan, perkembangan potensi kecerdasan / intelektual anak (software atau perangkat lunak otak) mencapai 50% pada usia 4 tahun

• Lalu di usia 8 tahun, potensi kecerdasannya meningkat menjadi 80%

• Sisa potensi kecerdasan 20% tinggal berkembang selama sisa hidup anak itu.

Berdasarkan data ini, masa perkembangan kritis Obama pada usia balita justru terjadi di Hawai. Dari riwayat hidupnya terlihat betapa menderita hidup Obama. Ketika berusia 2 tahun ayahnya meninggalkan dia dan ibunya. Pada usia 4 tahun bercerai dan pada usia 6 tahun ibunya menikah dengan Lolo Soetoro. Ibunya terpaksa menitipnya pada kakek dan neneknya.

Sewaktu tinggal di Jakarta barulah Obama benar-benar menikmati masa kanak-kanaknya. Jika disandingkan dengan data di atas, taruhlah perkembangan fisik otaknya telah mencapai 90% waktu menginjakkan kakinya di Jakarta. Jika perkembangan otaknya normal, kira-kira potensi intelektualnya mungkin telah mencapai 80% ketika bersekolah di Jakarta, tepatnya di SD Fransiskus Asisi. Selanjutnya sekitar 1 tahun bersekolah di Menteng, potensi kecerdasan ini berkembang pesat, mungkin telah mencapai lebih dari 80%. Potensi kecerdasan yang tersisa mungkin sekitar 20%. Yang sisa inilah yang kemudian berkembang di Hawaii, di Universitas Harvard dan selanjutnya sampai sekarang.

Obama remaja. Senang bermain bola kaki, basket memaksimalkan perkembangan otaknya.

Menurut hasil penelitian otak, perkembangan potensi otak anak bergantung kepada 4 makanan pokok, yaitu oksigen, makanan bergizi, informasi, dan kasih sayang. Semuanya relatif terpenuhi secara memadai untuk perkembangan otak Obama. Asupan makanan bergizi memadai karena pada zaman susah ketika itu, dari cerita teman-teman SD-nya, Obama senang makan tempe dan tahu yang kaya protein, kaya gizi. Informasi cukup ia peroleh di keluarga, di sekolah, dan dari pengalaman bermain di alam terbuka, terutama dalam bahasa anak-anak SD Fransiskus Asisi, di hutan yang mereka namakan hutan Asisi. Main perang-perangan. Ia pun senang menjadi pandu, istilah untuk pramuka waktu itu.

Otak Obama berkembang pesat karena ia banyak bergerak dan senang bermain sebagaimana layaknya anak-anak waktu itu. Permainan tradisional anak Jakarta cukup banyak yang ia alami, seperti bermain sepak bola, gundu (kelereng), gasing, petak umpet, dan permainan tradisional lain. Ia pun bersama teman-temannya suka memetik jambu biji yang masih banyak waktu itu di Jakarta. Ayah tirinya Lolo Soetoro senang memelihara burung dan binatang peliharaan lain dan Obama ikut memeliharanya. Memelihara binatang membuat anak menjadi manusia yang peka, ramah, lemah lembut, dan santun. Itulah ciri-ciri yang diakui teman-temannya.

Maya Soetoro-Ng, blasteran Jawa dan bule. Meraih tingkat akademis tertinggi dengan menggondol gelar Doktor (PhD) di bidang pendidikan. Obama meraih gelar Doktor. Ibunya juga meraih gelar Doktor dengan disertasi tentang budaya Indonesia. Keluarga ini adalah keluarga Doktor. Ayah Obama juga akademisi yang cerdas (kalau tak salah mungkin bergelar Doktor yang diraih di Universitas Harvard setelah menyelesaikan sarjananya di Universitas Hawaii. Lolo Soetoro juga dikenal sebagai ahli geografi Angkatan Darat. Menurut genetika, perkawinan antar-ras cenderung menurunkan gen-gen pintar, cerdas kepada anak-anak.

Ciri-ciri kepribadian Obama ini banyak dipengaruhi kepribadian ayah titinya yang diakui keluarga dan temannya sebagai seorang pribadi yang ramah, santun, dan mudah bergaul dengan orang lain. Makanan pokok otak yang amat penting, yaitu kasih sayang diperoleh Obama cukup bagus. Seperti diceritakan teman-temannya, ibunya mengasuh dia dengan cinta dan afeksi (love and affection). Dari ayah tirinya jelaslah kasih sayang diperoleh Obama. Ayahnya sering mengantar-jemput Obama ke sekolah dengan sepeda motor. Perilaku Lolo Soetoro kemudian berubah setelah menjadi konsultan perusahaan minyak Mobil Oil. Senang hidup jetzet masa itu dan akhirnya bercerai dengan ibu Obama dan kemudian kawin dengan Erna. Betapa pun perilakunya sebagaimana lumrah manusia biasa yang  mudah berbuat keliru, dialah seorang putra Indonesia  yang telah ikut memberikan sumbangan pendidikan karakter bagi Obama.

Menurut pendapatku, inilah sumbangan Indonesia yang terbesar bagi perkembangan otak dan kepribadian Obama. Kita tak perlu banyak berharap dan meminta dari Obama untuk Indonesia. Bukankah lebih mulia memberi daripada menerima?

Wahai para ayah dan ibu! Jika Anda inginkan anakmu menjadi presiden, menjadi tokoh besar, menjadi orang yang bermakna bagi orang lain dalam posisi apa pun, apakah yang dapat Anda lakukan?  Kiat-kiat murah bahkan gratis untuk mengembangkan potensi kecerdasan telah ditunjukkan lewat pengalaman Obama. Berilah kesempatan kepada anak Anda: bermain, bergerak, mandi di laut, sungai, bermain layang-layang, mandi hujan dan bermain lumpur, dan melakukan permainan tradisional lain. Batasi anak menonton dan duduk depan TV. dan bermain game  di komputer Jangan paksakan  dia mengambil kursus ini itu. Bilang kepada gurunya untuk menghentikan kebiasaan memberi PR. Jangan lupa berilah makanan bergizi. Yang murah tak apalah daripada makan junk food. Tempe dan tahu saja ternyata bisa membuat Obama menjadi presiden negara adidaya. Dan, yang terutama dan terpenting, curahkanlah kasih sayang sebanyak-banyaknya! Hope for your success!

Obama di usia balita mendapatkan kesempatan emas mengembangkan potensi otaknya lewat bermain di pantai Hawaii dan mendapatkan curahan kasih sayang dari sang kakek dan nenek.

SD Besuki – Sekolah Obama kecil ini memberikan sumbangan berarti bagi perkembangan otak Obama.

Obama menangis ketika mengumumkan kematian neneknya.

Kematian nenek Barack Obama, Madelyn Payne Dunham, menyiratkan pesan seorang wanita tangguh. “Biarlah saya bukan hanya makin kecil dan akhirnya ‘habis’ tapi cucuku makin besar dan maju meraih impian yang telah dipateri ketika berada dalam asuhannya. Pasti sang nenek menahan derita dalam a battle with cancer menahan detik demi detik penderitaan agar sempat menyaksikan cucunya mencatat sejarah menjadi presiden Amerika Serikat kulit hitam pertama.

Itulah tragika hidup. Namun sehari menjelang the eve of presidential election, Tuhan memanggil hambaNya. Mungkin Tuhan mempunyai rancangan lain yang gilang-gemilang bagi Berry, panggilan akrab Barack Obama. Biarlah sejumlah insan kulit putih yang masih ragu-ragu merasa terharu dengan kisah kepergian pada saat yang menentukan dan berbalik memilih Obama. Rasa terharu atas panggilan kematian yang tak mengenal insan itu putih atau hitam, kaya atau miskin, beragama atau tidak menimbulkan rasa empati kepada orang terkasih yang ditinggalkan. Dan, empati itu mendapatkan peluang disalurkan tatkala orang yang paling merasa kehilangan itu, Barack Obama, membutuhkan satu suara Anda untuk menghiburnya. Menurut saya, inilah “kejutan Oktober” yang amat ditakuti kubu Obama telah terjadi. Namun, kejutan kali ini malah memporakparandakan harapan John McCain.

Sang nenek memeluk cucunya yang lulus SMA tahun 1979, disaksikan sang kakek.

Kejutan bahagia ini dipersembahkan seorang wanita tangguh berkulit putih malah ‘mengorbankan’ nyawanya, harta utama dan terakhirnya. Pengorbanan ini menjadi a blessing in disguise, rahmat tersamar yang mempermulus jalan sang cucu tercintanya meraih impian sang nenek, meraih impian Amerika. Dan, sang nenek meninggalkan pesan melalui kematiannya, bahwa jarak antara kesedihan luar biasa karena nenek terkasih wafat dan kegembiraan luar biasa atas kemenangan menjadi presiden bukannya tipis, malah berbaur terpadu menjadi satu. Pesan peristiwa yang dipersembahkan sang nenek adalah jika sang cucu mendapatkan kehormatan amat besar menjadi presiden, jangan pernah lupa bahwa kesedihan tetap mengintip tiap langkah maju.

Ketika dikunjungi kakek dan nenek terkasih ketika kuliah di Harvard.

Banyak tokoh di dunia ini yang berhasil menjadi tokoh berkat kasih sayang, pengorbanan, dan pembinaan karakter yang dilakukan sang ibu atau sang nenek. Sang nenek telah membuktikan diri sebagai batu penjuru keluarga, dengan menampung dan mengasuh Berry dan Maya Soetoro, korban ‘broken home’ yang datang dari Jakarta. Sang nenek diakui Barack Obama sebagai wanita yang kuat, rendah hati, dan mampu menyelesaikan tugasnya secara luar biasa. Wanita yang mendorong dan mengizinkan cucu-cucunya mengambil kesempatan. Setelah kembali menjenguk neneknya yang kritis, Obama dalam pidato kampanye tentang ras di Philadephia mengatakan, “Betapa pun kekuatan, disiplin yang saya miliki, itu berasal dari dia.”

Dalam pidato penerimaan nominasi Partai Demokrat di Denver, yang disaksikan jutaan orang, Obama mengatakan, pengaruh neneknya terhadap siapa dirinya dan cara ia memandang dunia adalah substansial. “Ia adalah orang yang mengajarkan saya tentang kerja keras. Ia adalah orang yang menunda pembelian sebuah mobil baru atau sebuah pakaian baru untuk dirinya demi kehidupan yang lebih baik bagiku. Ia mencurahkan segalanya yang ia miliki kepadaku.”

Doubts persist about Obama birth certificate
Considerable evidence still points to candidate’s birth in Kenya

HONOLULU – Even though Hawaii officials now claim to have verified the authenticity of Sen. Barack Obama’s birth certificate – in hopes of ending widespread speculation and even multiple lawsuits challenging the Democrat candidate’s constitutional qualification to be president – it turns out there is still reason for serious questioning.

In fact, there is considerable evidence that Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii as the candidate and his campaign have maintained.

As WND reported from Honolulu last week, Gov. Linda Lingle instructed the Hawaii Department of Health to make sure no one in the press obtains access to Obama’s original birth certificate. Lingle’s letter to WND made clear that the original doctor-generated and hospital-released birth certificate on file with the state’s health department would be released to the press if Obama so requested – but to date the candidate has made no such request.

The governor’s communication with WND also left ambiguous whether the Obama birth certificate on file with the Department of Health was originally generated by a Hawaii doctor after giving birth to Obama in Hawaii, or generated in Kenya and subsequently registered by the Obama family in Hawaii.

On April 5, WND conducted a telephone interview from New Jersey to Kenya with Sayid Obama, brother of Barack Obama senior and the uncle of Sen. Barack Obama. The interview is reported in the book “The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality” on pages 21-25, 26-28, 29, 30, 34 and 103.

In the interview, Sayid acknowledged he was not sure whether his brother, Barack Obama senior, practiced Islam or whether Barack Obama junior was born in Kenya or in Hawaii.

He did remember distinctly that Obama junior had visited Africa in 1987, then a second time in 1992 when Obama junior traveled to Kenya with his wife-to-be Michelle; and a third time, as a U.S. senator, when Obama returned with Michelle in 2006.

Sayid acknowledged that his father (Sen. Obama’s grandfather) was wealthy in the Luo tribe, a practicing Muslim who traveled the world with the British, and insisted that Barack Obama senior attend school and was quite intelligent in school.

WND had scheduled a second telephone interview for April 25 with Auma Obama, Sen. Barack Obama’s sister in Kenya, but Auma canceled the interview and apologized to WND after Sen. Obama’s campaign forbade her or any other of the Obama family to conduct any further interviews with WND, following the interview with Sayid Obama.

The issue of the authenticity of Obama’s original birth certificate is further muddied by communications from Sen. Obama’s half-sister, Maya Soetoro, who has claimed Obama was born in two different Hawaii hospitals.

In a November 2004 interview with the Rainbow Newsletter, Maya told reporters her half-brother Sen. Barack Obama was born on Aug. 4, 1961, at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu; then in February 2008, Maya told reporters for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin that Obama was at the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children.

Last week in Hawaii, WND retained a top private investigator with extensive FBI training and tasked with visiting both the Queens Medical Center and the Kaliolani Medical Center to investigate claims that Obama birth certificates existed at either hospital.

But the private investigator reported that on Thursday and Friday of last week, sheriff’s deputies were stationed at both hospitals to fend off press inquiries about Obama’s birth certificate.

On Thursday, KGMB9 News reported that Hawaii’s top health official, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, was trying to defuse rumors that Barack Obama was born in Kenya by saying she had seen the birth certificate herself, but said Hawaii laws aimed at stopping identity theft prevented her from releasing the document despite multiple requests to do so.

Fukino failed to resolve the controversy by disclosing whether the “official document” she saw had been generated in a Kenyan hospital or in a Hawaiian hospital.

The controversy is further fueled by a video posted on YouTube in which Obama’s Kenyan grandmother Sarah claims to have witnessed personally Obama’s birth in Kenya. The YouTube.com video tape also features Sayid Obama who was interviewed by WND.

To date, Obama and his campaign have refused to disclose the name of the doctor delivering the candidate or the precise hospital where he was born.

The main reason doubts persist regarding Obama’s birth certificate is this question: If an original Hawaii-doctor-generated and Hawaii-hospital-released Obama birth certificate exists, why wouldn’t the senator and his campaign simply order the document released and end the controversy?

That Obama has not ordered Hawaii officials to release the document leaves doubts as to whether an authentic Hawaii birth certificate exists for Obama.

Rather, the failure to release the document fuels the theory – true or not – that the Obama family, shortly after Obama’s birth overseas, returned to Hawaii and registered at the Hawaii Department of Health the original Obama birth certificate that had been issued by the doctor and hospital that delivered Obama in Kenya.

Obama doesn’t bother to take care of your his own family members let alone citizens of America.  Obama’s Aunt Zeituni Onyango, from Kenya is living in the the United States illegally and living in the Boston projects – just up the road from the Harvard Law School that Obama attended.  WASHINGTON (AP) – Barack Obama’s aunt, a Kenyan woman who has been quietly living in public housing in Boston, is in the United States illegally after an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago, The Associated Press has learned.  Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as “Aunti Zeituni” in Obama’s memoir,  “Dreams of my Father” was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request. http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D945SVMO1&show_article=1  She decided to stay in the US and why wouldn’t she with her nephew slated in some polls to win the Presidency of the USA?

She declined to answer most other questions about her relationship with the presidential contender until after the November 4 election. “I can’t talk about it, I just pray for him, that’s all,” she said, adding: “After the 4th, I can talk to anyone.”   I can’t wait to hear what Auntie Z she has to say.  Does Aunt Z know something about where Obama was born?  Did Obama himself ask her not to talk to the press until after the election?  How could her wealthy nephew, who is running for the Presidency, ignore her plight when easily as a Senator could have asked for intervention and review of her case?

If we add up Obama’s alleged half brother in Kenya living in a hut on a dollar a month and an aunt from Kenya living here illegally, throw in twenty years as a Christian and we must question Obama’s family values and character once again.  America can not trust Obama as far as you can see him. 

Is Obama a racist in visiting and caring for his white grandmother, with whom he just visited in Hawaii, while his black aunt and black half brother live in poverty? 

Perhaps Obama has aligned himself to the Ownership Society more than previously thought.  In his Democratic Candidates acceptance speech he said of McCain, ”For over two decades, he’s subscribed to that old, discredited Republican philosophy – give more and more to those with the most and hope that prosperity trickles down to everyone else. In Washington, they call this the Ownership Society, but what it really means is – you’re on your own. Out of work? Tough luck. No health care? The market will fix it. Born into poverty? Apparently Aunt Zeituni is on her own and Mr. & Mrs. Obama will not be spreading any of that wealth they have earned around to keep her out of public housing.
