If you’re like me, you most likely haven’t seen the Sang Sang Plus episode from December 8th because the whole episode wasn’t subbed. But that’s okay, here’s what you haven’t added to your (useless) knowledge of SNSD!

 You would think after earing the KPSD title as Lady, no one would ignore Tiffany… but that’s not the case.

Ever since Invincible Youth maintained popularity and the two SNSD representatives (Yuri and Sunny) continue to receive more love, Tiffany has been feeling a bit out of the spotlight. But her jealousy is not over fans but over…other girl groups?

On Sang Sang Plus, Tiffany said
Once, I yelled at Yuri. Not too long ago, we were together in the dressing room (for MBC Music Core) and Yuri came in with the G7 members following her. The G7 girls from Invincible Youth came and I thought she’d introduce me to her new friends but Yuri didn’t and she just talked to them all herself, leaving me out. I got so jealous that I said hello to them really loudly and went back to reading my lines.

Kim Shin Young, the comedian member of G7 also stated in that episode,
SNSD’s dorm is not well-kept despite their image. Their clothes are in mountainous piles on the floor. Their CDs are stacked up high, it looks like a factory.

According to this article by sookyeong@ K BITES from star.mt.co.kr. Variety producers of 3 of the biggest TV stations in Korea  KBS, SBS, and MBC had voted for the Best Rookie, Artists and etc. Here is an excerpt of the article.

From Dec 7th to 9th, Money-today Star news conducted surveys, ‘Best artist of the year’ ‘Best songs’ ‘Best male, and female artist (including group)’ ‘Best rookie’ ‘Best issue in k-pop field” among variety show’s producers, and summed up the result on Dec 10th. Total of 22 producers participated in this survey.

The producers picked Girls’ Generation (So Nyuh Shi Dae) as “Best Female Artist of the Year” with 11 votes. The girls’ hit song, Gee, also chosen as “Best Song of the Year” with 7 votes. SNSD also came in 2nd place for “Artis of the Year” category with 5 votes, losing to beastly idols 2PM who got 9 votes.

Instead of its normal MBC Music Core on Saturday, MBC hosted a Copyright Clean Concert in partnership with cleansite.org to promote legal downloads. 2PM, of course performed “Heartbeat”, but in addition, they performed “10 out of 10″, their first song. But with “10 out of 10″, if I heard correctly, they changed the lyrics to promote legal downloading. It’s weird thinking that a year ago, they were just “cute” and not really popular, but now they’re “beastly” and extremely popular. That’s my boys. xD

Also, recently, 2PM was voted “Artist of the Year” by 22 producers from MBC, KBS, and SBS. This survey was conducted from December 7-9, and one producer even noted that 2PM always had powerful performances and even had 3 hit songs this year — “Again and Again”, “I Hate You”, and “Heartbeat”. Also, despite the Jaebeom controversy, they were able to come back strong and win 3 K-Chart (KBS Music Bank) and 2 Mutizens (SBS Inkigayo), winning their first K-Chart their third week of promotions. 2PM really deserves this award. They were able to stay strong even without Jaebeom and the support of many boycotting Hottests. If Jaebeom returned to 2PM, I bet that 2PM would win all of the K-Charts and Mutizens during their promotions. Maybe its because I’ve been staring at the computer for a while now, but my eyes are feeling a bit watery.

So stupidly I miscalculated on when this show was going to begin. For some reason I thought it was going to start at 1:00am PST, but no, it started at 11:00pm. Fortunately I caught my mistake before I missed any of the performances that I was actually interested in seeing. Apparently tonight all I care about is the gents. There weren’t really that many females, or so it seemed to me, and none of them really made a big enough impression to warrant writing about. Still, the gents put on a serious show!

MBLAQ performed “G.O.O.D Luv” for the second time and I am still not loving it. I cannot get over the fact that it is so relaxed. I also came to the realization that my major issue with it is their 180 degree image change. For “Oh Yeah” they were super manly and charismatic, but for “G.O.O.D Luv” they seem to be going for almost a cute image. Not overly in any way, but all of the masculine charisma is gone in my mind. I’m not really like it, to be honest. Still, it is a good song and Seung Ho looks amazing!

Beast performed their follow-up song “Mystery” for the second time and I am loving it so much better this time around. First, the crazy chicken head bob was way less pronounced and occurred much less frequently. Thank god. Even when they did do it, it didn’t seem as bad to me this time around. Thank god! I think it sounded much better this time around too. Vocally and the sound system itself. The guys looked super hot how they were styled this week, especially, yet again, Hyun Seung. Man there is something new that I can’t put my finger on. Is it the hair cut? Not sure, but whatever it is, it is HOT! The dance break was also hella legit. Ki Kwang’s flip looked really good. I really like their breaks and how they mix up each performance, though I am missing the DooSeob moments. A great song and a much more appealing performance this time around. I am very happy right now!!

SHINee claims more hearts with their performance of “Jo Jo”. Taemin looked soooooooo cute with his curly bangs popping out under his cap! Oh. I just want to be his noona sooooo bad!!! He is too cute!! Saranghae maknae! The styling I’m loving and even though the dance is rather simple it is good. Both remind me a bit of the Juliette days, which I don’t mind at all! And I hella want the jacket that Jong was wearing. So nice! I always enjoy their performances and, in my book, this was another great one!

Random side note. JYP said early today that by next summer he wishes to no longer be CEO of JYPE and to focus solely on creating and performing music. I find this kind of funny since I really don’ t like “No Love No More”. I wish him all the best, but I definitely think he’s going to have to produce something better to be successful in the future. What do you think? Should JYP just stick to producing or should he focus on being the act itself?

2PM first appeared doing a silly parody of “10 points out of 10″ in which they look really happy and more like their usual adorkable selves. And then, they rocked the stage in their usual beastly fashion during their performance of “Heartbeat”. I have to admit that the real reason that I am eating up these performances (beside the fact that they are amazing) is for the ‘deaths’ at the end. This weeks was not that impressive to me. I really like the acrobatics, so as they start veering away from that I’m less happy. And my heart dies. T.T

Variety producers direct from music programs to variety programs, where singers make frequent appearances. Thus, they have more interest in k-pop field and singers, and know more about the actual scene of music program than anyone else.

Then, whom would they pick as best artist of year? It’s no one else but 2PM. 2PM proudly grabbed first place in “Best artist of year’ with 9 votes. 2PM, who debuted last year, gained popularity this spring and summer with “Again &Again;” and “I hate you”; making another hit with ‘Heartbeat’ again.

They also went through a hurtful situation when leader Jaebeom’s previous words on my space became an issue, and left the team last September. However, even after 2PM reformed themselves with 6 members, they’ve shown their manly charms through ‘heart beat’; grabbing hearts of teenagers to Nuna fans.

One PD, who voted for 2PM, said “2PM ruled the stage with their strong performance. Based on this, their 3 songs made a hit in a row this year. So, I picked 2PM as the best artist without any hesitation.”

2PM’s power even continued in ‘Best male artist’ part. Earning 17 votes, 2PM won ‘Best male artist’ by an overwhelming majority.
