Hey all…sorry it’s been a while since I updated. It’s been a hectic week, and I just haven’t taken the time to get it all down.

On Tuesday I went in to see the MFM. He confirmed the miscarriage (not that there was any doubt) and then spent some time talking to me. He doesn’t think there is any reason why I can’t carry a child full term. After taking my history, the scan and looking at records from my other doctors he said he believes that I’ve just had bad luck that past 2 times. That for my 2 pregnancies unfortunately the egg that has fertilized have had some sort of genetic defect and so they did not work out. He said this happens sometimes and there’s no reason to think it will continue to happen. I am having some blood testing done, but it’s mainly just to rule out things like Thyroid problems and diabetes. He wasn’t really convinced I even needed the blood testing done, but since I’ve never been tested for these problems before (really, shouldn’t my fertility clinic have done this???) he said it would be a good idea. I am to go in 8 weeks after the miscarriage is over, get the testing, and he will get the results about a week or two after that and then call and discuss it with me. He recommended staying on the metformin since it did work.

He actually knows the doctor I had at the fertility clinic. He said, “Oh, I’m sure he tested for thyroid problems and these other things before he started your treatment, they always do that.” I couldn’t remember that ever being done, so we had my files faxed over, and sure enough, they never tested for ANY of the things the MFM wanted me checked for. I get more and more frustrated with that place the more I learn. They diagnosed me PCOS, but never mentioned Metformin. I went in with fertility issues, and they never checked, what I’ve gleaned to be, some major causes of infertility. They didn’t even want to figure out what was wrong with me when I first went in. My doctor wanted to jump straight to IVF. At that point, we’d been trying on our own for a year with no luck. I was very frustrated that they didn’t even want to see if there was something wrong with me before they jumped straight to the end of the road! I had to be very insistent that I wanted all of the diagnostic work done BEFORE and course of treatments. Obviously, they didn’t do that. It’s very frustrating that we all have to go through all this crap and basically teach ourselves about the world of IF and ART’s in order to make sure that we are getting proper treatment! After 3 years of this I would be a much better patient going into that clinic now. I’d know what they were doing, I’d know what I needed and I’d be able to ask the right questions. I really do think the 2 years and X number of dollars I spent at that place were almost a complete waste. The only thing that ever came out of that was my first pregnancy, my Declan. Even though I lost him, I wouldn’t trade the time I had with him for the world.

Or with Sophie for that matter. Yesterday I took the day off of work. Wednesday night I started bleeding and passing tissue. I knew I was in for a lot more on Thursday so I took the day off. I thought I was getting off pretty easy because the cramping was not too painful and everything seemed to be going okay. At around 4 pm however, I realized the worst was just beginning. I spent about an hour in terrible pain, crying and throwing up. It was just as bad as I remembered it being at the hospital the first time, only then I had IV pain meds to help out a bit. I won’t get into too many details, but today I think it’s pretty much over. I haven’t passed any tissue since late last night, the cramping is mostly gone and I only have a bit of bleeding now.

I’m glad that it is finally over. I of course am devastated that I lost my child, but I think anyone who has lost a child will tell you, you just want it over at that point. It’s heartbreaking to know you are carrying your child, but it is no long living with you, growing and being nourished by you. With both of my little ones I carried them for 3 weeks after they had already left me.

This means too that I can start the 8 week count down until my blood tests. We are not supposed to try until after the results are in. When he told me that I almost started crying in the office. I had been able to hold it all in until he told me it would be another 2 or 3 months until we could try again. I know it’s for a good reason, and hopefully we’ll be able to use the results to prevent future losses, but it’s going to be a long 3 months.

I want to thank all of you for your love and support through all of this. All of the comments on the last post were a blessing to me and my husband. I don’t know what I would do with out this community to talk with and support. Blessing does not even begin to cover it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

There are a few other things I should be wrapping up now as our midweek services approach, but I needed to take a minute aside to absolutely brag on and freak out about the job my assistant, Amanda is doing. We just launched our page to the website for our Ukraine 2010 mission trip that I have the privilege of leading and she did an outstanding job. Literally, she did ALL the work, I passed the materials on and she made it happen. Talk about owning it!

You know the branding is good if you just see the logo and it gets you psyched about the opportunity. Click the link below to go to our info page and find out more about the trip. If you’re part of our GWC crew check out the video from last fall’s English camp, download the recruitment info packet and pray about joining us in the Ukraine this summer. Space is limited! Minimum age of 17 upon departure July 31.

Location: Massachusetts The Farmers Market Manager is responsible for daily operations of one or mor

Location: Massachusetts

The Farmers Market Manager is responsible for daily operations of one or more of our managed Markets. Our markets typically run from late May through late November; 2010 Market Managers will be required to attend 2 days of market vendor meetings and spend one full day at the office each week, leading up to the opening of their market, facilitating the vendor application and acceptance process, beginning in February/early March.

The Market Manager is the “go-to” person for vendors and consumers during market hours, and is the Mass Farmers Markets (MFM) representative on site. The job requires personal confidence and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of people including municipal employees. Mass Farmers Markets relies on the market manager to be its liaison with and between all parties served by the market.

The manager’s general responsibilities include: fostering community support for the market, helping promote the market and MFM, and keeping accurate weekly records of market activities. Successful managers understand both the vendors’ and the consumers’ needs and, in conjunction with MFM staff, design and implement strategies to meet these needs. The manager is required to be on-site at market and available to vendors and consumers the majority of the time.

General Requirements:
Managers are required to be available for cell phone contact with MFM staff on market day and for regular e-mail contact throughout the duration of their employment. Managers must be willing and able to work outdoors and to safely lift and carry 50 pounds. The position requires the ability to work independently as well as inter-dependently with a team of other staff members.

Specific Responsibilities:
Specific manager responsibilities vary by market and are determined by the needs of both the community and the specific vendors at the market. Generally, the market manager is responsible for the following activities.

GENERAL MARKET SUPPORT
• Develops and maintains good working relationships with fellow market managers, the markets elected Advisor(s), farmers and vendors, consumers, and community members.
• Update and prepare vendor applications, Market Rules and 2010 Managed Market Policy
• Assists vendors, community representatives, and consumers by providing market-related information, conflict resolution, and general aid as appropriate.
• Enforces market rules.
• Communicates regularly with the FMFM office staff.
• Managers may occasionally assist vendors by providing limited set up help and brief personal breaks and by assisting vendors with sales during especially busy times.

EDUCATION & OUTREACH
• Works with MFM office staff to promote the market.
• Raises consumer and community consciousness about MFM and farmers markets role in the greater Boston food system through conversations and targeted activities.
• Educates consumers about locally grown produce
• Establishes a consistent space to set up and operate the market manager’s tent and MFM banner. Operation of the market manager’s tent includes:
o Displaying and distributing educational materials
o Collecting consumer contact information
o Displaying and selling MFM merchandise
o Occasionally hosting guest non-profits/musical acts for a day
• Identifies and either initiates or recommends follow-up communication with area businesses and community organizations, as well as local police or other municipal employees, who may provide assistance to the market.
• Leads efforts to bring cooking demonstrations, educational programming, music or other cultural activities and special events to the market on a regular basis.
• Regularly reads community news publications and coordinates with the office staff to become involved in community functions and issues where appropriate.
• Works with the office staff to seek and coordinate volunteers, as needed, to assist market and MFM operations.

MARKET LOGISTICS
• Arrives at market 1 – 1.5 hours before opening to coordinate market set-up and stays at market until all vendors have left (usually no more than 1 hour after market closing).
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of the site before, during and at the conclusion of each market.
• Places directional signs promoting the market around the community at key locations prior to opening on each market day, and removes those signs at the close of market.
• Maintains and transmits the daily records and reports required by MFM to the office coordinator on a weekly basis.

MISCELLANEOUS
• Performs other duties necessary to support the market.
• The ideal candidate will have an interest in local agriculture, food, community, and / or local economies. S/he must be reliable, friendly, self-motivated, and have access to a vehicle, or the ability to get all supplies to the market daily.
• This is a part-time, hourly position and requires managing market operations for 6 – 9.5 hours (depending on market hours) on market days, plus an additional 2 – 3 hours per week on non-market days.

COMPENSATION: $12-$14 per hour based on experience.

But that is how is always seems to be. When the sun is shinning it is not too difficult to keep that pace. Things are coming together nicely for SinborderS Magazine. Article are some of the best we have had. We also have aligned ourselves with some top notch photographers and graphic designers. I can’t wait till this issue drops next week. Let’s all hope for the best. Later tonight we have the last photo shoot with MFM aka Marc Frank Montoya. This guy is insane – a pro snowboarder, but more impressively an amazing business man. Always on the grind making things happen. Before the shoot I need some Pho. Man, I ate Chinese today and got a hot plate for a total of $2.70. How is that possible??? Be back soon. God Bless.

You can travel around the world, stay at the same old job, or you can apply yourself at a top business school. At the RSM Masters in Financial Management programme, you will get the opportunity to study in the heart of Europe, in a global, commercial city in close proximity to other European hubs (London, Amsterdam, Paris). As a graduate of the MFM programme, you will embark upon a fast-paced career in the financial world. This 12-month programme is designed to provide participants with contemporary and relevant teachings in financial theory and practice.

The RSM MFM offers a class with a wide diversity in cultures and backgrounds. The interaction with participants with different views and the proximity of Rotterdam to large European cities will contribute to your experience and will change the way you look at the world.

In this blog you can follow current participants during their stay in Rotterdam and their studies at the MFM programme, giving you an idea of what you can do in one year.

Flowcharting is a tool for analysing processes. It allows you to break any process down into individual events or activities and to display these in shorthand form showing the logical relationships between them. Constructing flowcharts promotes better understanding of processes, and better understanding of processes is a pre-requisite for improvement.

Flowcharting, as a tool for clarifying situations and thus improving knowledge and understanding, is particularly useful when used by a group or team. This is because by drawing a flowchart together, the team,

develops a common understanding of the situation

contributes a larger pool of knowledge than an individual can (assuming team members are well chosen for their knowledge and experience)

can agree a common approach to solving problems, resolving ambiguities and making improvements

Team leaders will find that drawing a flowchart progressively on a whiteboard or flipchart, as team members contribute their information, opinions and ideas, will not only identify problems and areas of confusion, but will automatically build consensus and commitment by focusing the team’s attention on a single shared view of their task. Be warned, however, that while flowcharting looks easy to do, it takes practice to use effectively. It forces users to identify process steps so that they are clear and logical, which is of course its principal purpose.

Flowcharting helps communicate what actually happens or needs to happen!

Her characters are well written, interesting and believable. The sexual tension between the trio is spicy, well plotted and enhances the story.
I have been seeing this lovely women for a few months and still haven’t worked up the courage to reveal myself as an avid packie user.’It’s not like I am telling her I am trans is what always goes through my mind, but something always stops me from letting it all hang out, pun intended. We are apart for a week so I planned a little phone sex, giving her all her wishes with the sound of my voice, hearing the slick wetness of her touching her innermost warmth with her delicate fingers. What she didn’t know was that I was not fingering myself but instead stroking my packie. I was close to climax and I could hear the octave in her voice go up signalling her closeness, at that moment I sent her a picture of me stroking the packie as a surprise. I somehow knew I didn’t have to be afraid to tell her anymore, because as soon as she got the picture she let out a deep throated moan for me…

It’s been a long day and I’m tired. I get back to my room, drop by backpack and hit the lights. I’m stunned to see Ada lying on my bed looking up from a book. “Hey sweetie, thought I’d surprise you” We don’t say much else for a long time.

Ada has posted a response:

I managed to get away from everything for a few days and decided to surprise you by visiting unannounced. Since I’m coming from another country, I hope it will be quite the surprise.

You hid a spare key under the doormat, so I let myself in and head to the bed. Having gone this far, I decide to add in another surprise and remove my clothes before lounging on the bed.

Until next time, Stay Kinky.

i stand in front of him and remove the blindfold.

He has her pinned. Big, square, hard hands clamped on her wrists, stretching them above her head and holding them against the wall; long, streamlined torso pressing against hers so that every rivet and buckle of his harness digs into her hips. His tongue trails up along the veins of her neck and over her jaw as her breath gushes out from between parted lips, tickling his ear.

Slowly her eyes open, revealing a devilish twinkle as her lips curve into an equally mischievous grin. Lightning fast, her leg sweeps out behind his ankles, knocking his feet from under him. Twisting deftly, she uses his unwavering grip on her wrists to turn him around, pinning him to the warm spot her body had left on the wall. Leaning close, she shifts a thigh between his legs to press his big cock achingly against his little one. He groans, his hands going slack on her wrists. Her lips slowly trace the curve of his ear, teeth closing teasingly over the lobe before her voice comes whispering out and into his head:

A lovely review from Susi at The Geeky Bookworm for Mia’s Return:

“Steamy is not enough to describe this book, the words burn your eyes. Very hawt read it is and so good for my hormones.

The story in this book brings us a few revelations concerning the bad guys but leaves enough out to keep your interest. The story is fast paced, a bit rushed at some points but it totally suits the book.

Enjoyed this one and can’t wait to read what happens in book 3- Sera’s Gift.”

I just got a lovely review of Mia’s Return from Alternative Read today:

“Having read the first book I had some expectations of the second that were fulfilled in spades. I adored the tenacity with which Mia sought and found her man, the vivid scenes Ms. Ceagh painted so descriptively, but it was the bonding of the males that intrigued me the most. I must say this was a nicely rounded tale full of some very steamy lovemaking (notice I didn’t label it sex?) and I’m anxious to get the next installment as well as curious to see who the next victims are.”

I got my official release date for Kiss Across Time yesterday. May 4, 2010. Just under six months

I got my official release date for Kiss Across Time yesterday. May 4, 2010. Just under six months away.

I guess that’s the drawback for writing for a house series. Everyone gets pooled together at the speed of the slowest common denominator. I have a feeling I’ll have other titles coming out between now and then.

Anyway, I thought I’d celebrate by splurging with an excerpt, as they seem to be well received by everyone.

But first the blurb, of course!

Taylor Yates just got fired from her university for insisting that the 5th Century British poet and playwright, Inigo Domhnall, existed. When she hears the poet’s lyrics in a death metal song, she engineers a meeting with the dark-eyed, dark-haired lead singer, Brody Gallagher. An unintended kiss sends them spinning back to the poet’s time, when Saxons were pillaging King Arthur’s Britain, and a warrior expects a proper farewell from his woman before he sets off for war.

Brody’s all for kissing her again. More, he’d like her to try kissing his friend and lover, Veris, just to see what will happen. His blond, tall, blue-eyed Saxon friend Veris.

_____________

Excerpt

The bathroom door opened and the singer stepped out, wrapping a silky-looking bathrobe around him. He halted when he saw her, his eyes narrowing.

“It was you,” he said flatly.

Her heart squeezed. It was him. Breandán. In the vision, dream, whatever it was that she’d had when this Brody had kissed her. Long hair and everything.

“You even have a scar on your chest,” she said and lifted her hand to touch, just under her own left breast. “Just like Breandán did.”

His eyes widened. “Jesus,” he breathed.

After a second or two he stirred. “I guess I don’t have to ask if you experienced what I did out there, then.”

She licked her lips. “That isn’t…usual, then?”

He gave a low laugh. “God no!” He lifted a hand to her face but hesitated just before he touched it. “May I?”

She appreciated his sensitivity. “Yes.”

His thumb stroked her cheekbone. “Your name is not really Toiréasa, is it?” His voice was low.

She shivered. He’d been there. He’d really been there with her.

“Taylor,” she said.

“I want to kiss you again, Taylor. I want to see what happens this time.”

She focused on his full lips and she remembered him sliding his cock into her. Even though it had been a dream or a vision, or whatever it had been, she recalled it like it had actually happened. She could feel it. Her clit throbbed.

“Don’t be afraid,” he said. “I won’t let anything happen to you.”

Curiously, she believed him. She nodded.

His mouth touched hers hesitantly and she knew there was a pocket of fear in him too. Then his lips grew firmer, more demanding and his tongue thrust into her mouth. She forgot about visions and daydreams and simply enjoyed the kiss. Brody was a damn fine kisser and she hadn’t been kissed in a long, long time. She threw herself into the kiss, letting herself be seduced by its power. She pressed up against him, enjoying the pleasure of simply being held by a man, the scent of a man. She wound her arms about his neck and rubbed herself against him with a soft little moan.

He gasped and lifted his head up, looking at her. “No visions,” he said softly. “But both of us experienced it, the first time.”

“Yes,” she agreed. Then she realized that she was draped against him. Worse, his cock was beating between them, signaling his arousal in the most obvious way.

She tried to stand up but he held her still. “Wait,” he said. “There’s no rush, is there?” His hand was stroking the back of her thigh, making it quiver.

“I have to go home.” She tried to make it sound convincing. But she really wanted to stay right where she was and continue kissing him. She had no idea who he was. She didn’t even know his last name. But she already knew what his cock looked like and what it felt like to fuck him. And if the vision they had shared had any sort of truth in it, he had loved her once.

Before she had been fired two days ago, Taylor had been within half an inch of being a history professor. She hadn’t believed in past lives and all that sort of bullshit. But right now she was willing to grasp it in order to give herself enough justification just to fuck the brains out of this man because kissing him felt so damn good. But that wouldn’t make her feel any better tomorrow morning.

She bit her lip. “I can’t stay,” she said regretfully. “I would love to. I would. But that isn’t a good enough reason.”

Brody held up his hand. “Before you go,” he said. “Would you do me one small favor?”

She stepped away from him. “It depends.”

“I want you to kiss my friend. I want to see if it works on him.”

Taylor laughed. “Why on earth would it?” Then something in Brody’s expression registered on her. “Oh…he’s your lover, isn’t he?”

Brody lifted a brow.

“A very long-term lover,” Taylor concluded with growing wonder. She tilted her head to study him. “What is his name?”

“Most people call me Veris, because they can’t pronounce my real name.”

She whirled around to face the voice.

He was sitting on the arm of the chair where the suit jacket had been a few moments before. Blond hair, blue eyes, six foot two inches of self-assured, very broad-shouldered male.

“You!” She struggled for the name. “Dr. Gerhardsson. You consulted with me last week, about the Domhnall plays.”

“Jesus, you son of a bitch,” Brody said behind her. “You went and did it after all.”

Veris smiled. “I did.”

Brody brushed past Taylor and threw himself into the lounge chair. He looked at Taylor. “You’re a history professor?”

“I nearly was,” she said flatly.

“You don’t look like one,” Brody commented.

“Neither does he,” she said, pointing at Veris. He was wearing leather pants and a sleeveless white cotton overshirt that made the most of the tanned, rounded caps of his shoulders and the bunches of muscles of his arms. Veris crossed his arms over his chest, which just seemed to multiply the amount of tanned muscle on display. His blue eyes twinkled.

Brody seemed more than mildly pissed about Veris’ consultation, which had been utterly professional in nature. Dr. V. Gerhardsson had not indicated by so much as an inch that he even recognized that Taylor was a woman.

Even so, Taylor had been left feeling edgy and weak-kneed after the evening consultation and had fallen into bed and indulged in a rare session of masturbation that featured Gerhardsson and his blue eyes and broad shoulders and various parts of his magnificent anatomy, over and over again.

Brody glared at Veris now. “I can see now why you came home in such a muck-sweat that night…the seventeenth, right?”

Taylor jumped. That was the night.

Veris just shrugged a little. No pride lost there. “I have no objections to kissing the lady now, if that’s what you want.” He smiled a little but his eyes were dancing with merriment.

Brody glared for a moment longer, then gave up. Taylor knew he had tabled the argument for later. He sat forward on the seat and spoke to Veris. “I told you what happened during the concert. I want to see if it happens to you when you kiss Taylor, because of our bond. If it does, then we’re going to have to tell Taylor.”

Veris glanced at Taylor. “And that won’t have tipped her off at all,” he said.

“Like consulting her about the Domhnall plays won’t have?” Brody shot back.

Veris grimaced. “I see your point.” He got to his feet and walked toward her and Taylor knew that the equivalent of a nuclear explosion would have to go off before she would move from the spot.

Veris stopped in front of her. “May I?” he asked. He seemed to tower over her five-foot-six frame, even with her spiked boots.

She thought her knees would give out. “Yes,” she said, her voice hoarse.

He slid his hand around her waist and the other under her hair. This close, his blue eyes were mesmerizing and she could feel her heart thundering. It hurt as it slammed against her chest. She gripped Veris’ shirt almost convulsively, suddenly afraid.

“It’s all right,” he whispered, his lips brushing hers, his breath fanning her. “I have you.”

He kissed her.

It’s finally out!

Of the three books in this series, Mia’s Return edges out slightly ahead of the pack as my favorite. Not huge amounts, just by a nose. The others have their elements that endear them to me, but overall, Mia has…symmetry. Which is unusual, because most authors always struggle with the middle book of a trilogy because of the famous saggy middle syndrome.

The emotional intensity and conflict in this one just fell into place and went “click” and the book wrote itself. So much so that I sweated for two days to bring it down under the word count limit.

But it’s out.

It’s out!

Click here to buy it. (awww, come on, I have to do this, I’m a poor author!)

It’s part of the book tour, but I only found out less than 48 hours ago that the date was confirmed, so I’ve barely managed to get it up onto the book tour page and the guest post written…but I’m there, and it’s there, and if you’re reading this, this post is there, too.

So…deep breath, everything fell into place as it should.

I’m over at Love Romance Passion today, kicking off the first date of my double-header book tour. Come and chat, and be in the running to win a copy of Beth’s Acceptance, and impress the hell out of Love Romance Passion with how many people actually come and chat with me, as this is my first time there.
