Welcome to my new blog in support of my forthcoming Autobiography! It’s nearly the end of 2009, and my last day of writing is going to be on New Years Eve in Montreal, as I overlook the city while standing at Mount Royal (see photo)!

What a touching and cathartic experience this has been. I’ve got a ton to share with you, and I shed some very intense light on my life throughout these pages, so stay tuned as I work with my editor to bring this manuscript to the best it can be during early 2010, and self-publish later in the year! I promise this to be a story of depth, emotion and challenges, which will stay with you for a long time to come.

Stay tuned for regular updates as I progress toward the final product – a hardcover book worthy of the shelves of any bookstore.

I’m literally pouring everything I’ve got into my first creation, so ultimately, I hope you enjoy it.

Yesterday I went to the Michael Jackson Laser Spectacular show at the Tacoma Dome.  What a complete waste of time and money!  They had commercials on TV advertising it as though it was some sort of crazy laser show when only 25% of the time had lasers!  The lasers didn’t even surround the Tacoma Dome and it was shot in a single projection.  I was highly disappointed with the song selection, lasers, the graphics (who the hell shows farm animals dancing to MJ music?!!!).  There was a MJ impersonator and dancers who I give credit to for bringing to life some of his dance moves and style.  But I had expectations coming in that it would be a laser show where lasers would be projecting from everywhere.  To add insult, they charged you an extra $2 on top of the ticket price just for some 3-D glasses!  This is something that should of been included in the ticket price.  There were no merchandise to buy such as posters, t-shirts, etc.  It was such a disappointment, not only for me, but I felt bad for the children who came (especially the ones who came in MJ clothing).  It was no surprise that some people starting leaving the show even before it was halfway through and that a majority of the seats where still empty.  The song selection was horrible and the curtain that had covering the stage was still partially blocking the view when it draped to one side.  I could go on about how horrible it was, but I’ll leave it at that.  Every person in that audience deserved a refund for their money!

the king of pop is dead. it was a shock to all though hardly a surprise.

i for one never really got him, i have never really understood why he, of all the great pop stars, has always attracted so much adoration and revere. his music is static and intrusive while his dance moves emulate the staccato tremblings of an epileptic fit (i do hope no epileptics take that as an insult – no one blames you).

there have been one or two tunes that get stuck on the brain but it hardly seems like enough to crown him martyr of music. if anyone actually listens to the lyric of an mj tune it tends to be mindless chatter of an insane bloke given a platform and a mic.

i am careful not to make a tirade of judgments against him for his personal life as that has been discussed a plenty and we all know where we stand on issues such a abuse and insanity (no one can doubt the man had some serious mental delusions – see south park’s dead celebrities for some witty insight into his mind). however there is a part of me that cant help but get ever so slightly nauseous when i hear that signature raucous wailing. it is distinctly unnerving.

his influence on music is undoubtedly great – but i am undoubtedly grateful it is over.

The “King of Pop” seems to be close in his evening entertainment news magazine coverage with …. penis popping Levi Johnston. Oh my is that fair? Did he just pose for multiple issues of Playgirl? Why yes I think he did.

And shame on the pecan people or whoever they are who associate Levi with “protection”. Dude, let’s catch a break. Stop talking about him. It isn’t like he’s a good roll model or anything. Or maybe that’s it, someone wants his life to teach our kids it’s ok to have sex outside of marriage or before you can care for a baby and after that it’s ok to insult and belittle our elders and it’s ok to be a father under 20 and pose for Playgirl then sue for joint custody of your child who you never see because you’re always in Hollywood selling your soul.

Look back at some of the “deaths” in your life, how have they helped you to become the person you are today? Join a discussion or support group for death and dying.

Hold a releasing ceremony, symbolically burying or burning anything you no longer want or need in your own life. Make up your own ritual for this and follow your own inner knowing or call upon Owl to help show you the way.

Miserere mei, Deus – Firpo Carr is blogging on his webpage about his favourite subject yet again. ME! As much as I am flattered Firpo Carr, it really is time to move on! [I think something that I said must have made his private parts shrivel and now his ego is fighting back.]

According to him, the Jackson’s have said this… and that about me. For crying out loud Firpo, who are you kidding? They are busy putting their lives back together after their tragic loss. Do you really think they have time for anything else?In the grand scheme of things, I’m really not that important to them, their main focuses right now are Michael’s children, each other and Michael’s legacy. Period.

I can’t really understand what he aims to achieve by his witch hunt. Although, all this talking about me is keeping my ears warm in the winter months. I guess that is a bonus. All I know is that when one finds such hateful opposition in ones way, one is definitely doing the right thing!!

By the way he is talking, you would think that I am Dr Murray. Same old, same old – in the world of MJ everyone is at each others throats . Not alot has changed. All I’m glad for is that MJ doesn’t have to witness all of this infantile behaviour.

I must say, I’m looking forward to reading about all the intricately fabricated stories he has to tell readers about me. He must spend most of his working day thinking about all of these things. Although, I would urge him to err on the side of caution because as we have seen in the whole MJ saga, Karma strikes when we least expect it.

There is a saying “Hell hath no fury like a women scorned.” I’m going to extend this to “Hell hath no fury like Firpo Carr scorned.”

Ok so its the afternoon of the day after…

Michael Jackson’s This Is It was worth the wait… what an extraordinary film.  I wasn’t sure what to expect or how I’d feel… but it was incredible from start to finish.  Not only did it show what a talent MJ continued to be; at 50 years old he was more than keeping up with all the young dancers and his voice was as powerful and moving as ever – but what a humble charming man he was.  I have to admit both my daughter and I felt quite sober as we walked out – the amount of people who were involved in putting the show together, from around the world, the carefully selected dancers, singers musicians and crew, the set designers, the costume designers, the pyrotechnics, the incredible stage with its pop out reveals,  the film sets for the screen at the back of the stage… the passion, such a shame that it didn’t happen… I’m so glad this film was made because it gives the people involved a chance for the world to see what they had been working so hard to produce – it was incredible.  If you’ve not seen the film, do go before it comes off the screen.

After the cinema, my eldest daughter met me and we drove to Windsor… how beautiful the castle looked as we were driving in.   Standing proud in the distance, a real fairytale castle.  We went to Artique Gallery where people were oozing out of the door ways, laughing, smiling and holding their glasses of pink bubbly… yes, it was rude not to!  So with our champagne in had we ventured in… Fabian Perez, tanned and smiling was like a honey pot to bees… everyone swarmed around him… we pretended we’d not noticed .  The new collection of painting were incredible, dark, sultry and so beautiful.  Having grown up in Buenos Aires with a father who owned night clubs and establishments where ladies of the night frequent, his paintings evoke the night side of life… the sexy, dramatic images of men and women… I was captivated by them all… Having said that, as an official Olympic 2012 artist, the two sporting pictures there were colourful and captured the essence of the game. 

So having asked my daughter to prevent me from buying anything… I found myself in the buying mood… I think the law of attraction played it’s hand too… I had been sent an inivitation from the gallery and on the inside was a copy of a painting of a man adjusting his tie and who had a look in his eye as if something or someone had caught his eye… mmm… lovely.  I looked for it in the gallery but couldn’t see it, then the art advisor came over to chat… I asked if it had been sold?  No, there was no room for it in the gallery so they’d kept it in the back… out it came… oh my, it was just gorgeous… both my daughter and I were taken aback by its passion, it’s depth… and how handsome the study was… giggling, we knew we were being a bit naughty as we have some saving up to do for the big move to Brighton… but as we agreed it’s an investment – the other painting we have have gone up in value… ok ok.. we shouldn’t have… but we did… ok, I did! Hee hee… Fabian came over and personalised the back of the picture for us and made my daughters night by asking her if she’s an artist!  Which she is – more on the film side now though… she was chuffed to bits   So, the painting will be on tour with him for a few weeks and then we get it back!  Oh where to put it! Oh, decisions, decision!

We went for a meal afterwards, it was lovely to chat one to one and throw some thoughts out there.  To talk about whats important to us, and what is not.  We sat by the window and saw many people walking passed dressed in fish net stockings and suspenders as The Rocky Horror Picture Show was at the theatre in Windsor… quite a surreal night all in all!  As we walked back to the car we noticed a light on in one of the castle towers… we wondered if it was the Queen’s bathroom… and giggled imagining her asking Prince Philip to pass the soap… What a lovely night, to end a perfect day….

Šodien man ir brīvdiena – Raivis strādā, pa māju visu dienu vandos viena pati. Laura ap 12:00am aizlaida uz darbu, es ap 10:00am [nedaudz pēc], aizvilkos līdz Lidl`am, satikos ar Raivja mammu un devos pie šiem pasēdēt, lai nav jāgarlaikojas vienai mājās. Pa ceļam iegāju veikalā paskatīties Raivim iPod`u, bet nekā jēdzīga tur nebija, tikai MP3, MP4 utt. Nu nekas, jāskatās kaut kur citur būs. Rīt mums abiem būs brīvs, nezinu, ko sadarīsim, bet vismaz viņš būs pie manis mājās, jo šodien kaut kā jūtos ne savā ādā, kad viņa nav blakus. Pa visu šo laiku, ko esmu pavadījusi Anglijā, esam visu laiku bijuši blakus, tāpēc arī šodiena ir tāda nekāda, jo ir izjaukts viss ierastais. Biju iepirkties, tagad ap 6:00pm jāuztaisa ēst [būs makaroni ar maltās gaļas mērci un salātiņiem], lai mīļums var atbraukt no darba mājās un paēst. Ahhh, kā es viņu gaidu mājās. Tik ļoti pietrūkst. Besī būt vienai, kad visu laiku ir bijis tā, ka esam blakus viens otram – kopīgi sēžam Internetā, taisam ēst, utt.

Tagad gaidu, kad atbrauks kaut kādi džeki un savāks Lauras paku, ko viņa sūta ar šiem uz Latviju, sagaidīšu tos, un tad jānoskatās NEW MOON. Un tad jau noteikti būs pienācis laiks taisīt ņammu. Man tik tagad bail, ka es vēl nedzirdēšu, ka šie klauvē pie durvīm. It kā jau Laura iedeva šiem manu numuru. Ajj, gan jau.

Aizvakar laikam, jā, aizvakar ielūrēju Stīnas jaunajā mājaslapā. Tur viņai bija saites, ko viņa lasa. Tur bija arī Sabīnes blogs. Tad nu es domāju iemest aci un palūrēt, ko viņa labu raksta. Buying a pair of gloves for the winter: $19.99.

Owning Michael Jackson’s infamous moonwalk glove: priceless $350,000 plus tax.

The King of Pop’s rhinestone-studded white glove fetched that whopping price at a New York auction on Saturday.

The iconic accessory became the late star’s signature after he wore it while moonwalking through “Billie Jean” at Motown’s 25th anniversary TV special in 1983.

So who was the lucky (and well-heeled) bidder?

Hong Kong native Hoffman Ma, who after taxes, will pay $420,000 for the “Thriller” crooner’s glove—a price, the 36-year-old winner said, was a bargain.

Ma purchased the glove on behalf of the Ponte 16 Resort Hotel in Macau.

While there were more than 300 items from the likes of The Beatles to Elvis Presley in the “Music Icons” sale held by Julien’s Auctions, Jackson’s items seemed to be the most coveted.

His fedora, also worn during the Motown special, sold for $22,000, and a jacket from his 1989 Bad tour fetched $225,000.

Not a bad day on the block.
