Nu börjar födelsedagen att närma sig sitt slut och den har varit väldigt trevlig. Har haft vänner och svärmor på besök, lite kaffe och fikabröd till dem och lite rött te till mig. Den perfekta födelsedagsmaten blev förstås inget annat än hamburgare/ kycklingburgare. En intressant detalj: personalen har nu börjat utmana varandra på “min” restaurang i MinimizeYou… skall bli intressant att följa detta framöver. Kan tänkas att det kan bli lite jobbigt att stå och laga hamburgare hela dagarna, och sedan äta dem också. Kul i alla fall att det sprider sig… En annan lite rolig detalj värd att notera: efter TV-inslaget har de märkt en ökad efterfrågan på DeliFresh-menyer!! Kanske dax för en reklamdrive för nyckelhålsmärkt MAX???

Träningen har i stort sett uteblivit idag och jag känner att jag kommer att behöva jobba lite hårdare under de få dagar som är kvar av projektet. Jag har visserligen rört på mig en hel del under dagen, men man kan inte direkt kalla det för träning. Gårdagen blev också bara en promenad, så det behövs en liten slutspurt nu…

Nu när firandet är avklarat ska jag varva ned lite, innan det är dags för sängen, ha en god natt på Er.

The latest thing is insideyoursearch.com by WCRS for Weetabix.

The idea behind it, is obviously how to show the effects of having Weetabix in the morning. But I do think that it has had an influence by the very popular viral from a few years ago – subservientchicken.com.

The idea of seeing an old librarian lady behind the scenes at Google is quite fun, but interacting with this is not as good as with the chicken I feel. Certainly as you search for something she does move around quickly and there are some specific search terms that make the animation slightly different, like searching for the weather for a certain area etc., but this has something missing. It is a nice touch to have a reversed image of a search page and results, but I tried typing the same search terms in both the site and in Google at the same time and sadly, they did not come up with exactly the same thing. This is something that people who come into contact will try and I feel that it is missing out on, but even worse, the time it takes to search is longer when it is through insideyoursearch.com, even if only half of a second, I feel that this is a part which doesnt actually meet the proposition.

Otherwise this is a nice idea.

…blev jag när jag startade skriva detta inlägg. Ja den 76:e burgaren var ju i och för sig middagen igår, så det kanske inte räknas, och man har väl kanske satt i sig nå’t tusental burgare innan det också, men ändå…

Idag blir det förutom lite avslutande uppgifter på flyttjobbet från igår, inte så mycket arbete, utan jag satsar på lite firande i stället, det kan ju kanske bli nå’n som kommer förbi och fikar även om jag “bara” kan ta en te-mugg själv. Det kanske inte är så mycket att fira längre, man har ju passerat 40, men projekt MinimizeYou har förhoppningsvis förlängt antalet år man kan fira ihop med sina nära och kära. Jag känner mig, nu när projektet börjar lida mot sitt slut, mer som 30 än som 40 (frågar man Catrin, så kan hon säga att jag är som en 6-åring ibland också ) så man skall inte klaga. Jag skulle vilja påstå att ryktet om att “allt slutar vid 40″ är kraftigt överdrivet, det mesta börjar nog snarare då…

Min kära syster fyller 50 år ung i morgon, och har valt att åka ned till sina barn i Göteborg, (det kommer ett grattis på bloggen i morgon syrran ). Tyvärr har vi inte möjlighet att åka ned för att fira henne, men det är dock snart jul så vi hinner nog träffas kan man tro…

George Michael will perform two Australian concerts in February, and the first will be in Perth.                                                          

Rumours had been rife that the Too Funky star was headed down under, and today his Australian trip has been confirmed.

Heading to Australia for the first time since 1988, the Wham! star and solo pop vocalist will perform at Member’s Equity Stadium on February 20.  He will then perform in Sydney at Sydney Football Stadium on February 26.

He will perform tracks from the early days, Wham! and his latest material.

Promoter Paul Dainty said it was thrilling to bring Michael back to the country following his Faith tour in the 80s.

“He is a consummate performer and will deliver a stunning show to his fans who have waited 22 years to see him perform in Australia,” Dainty said.

Michael has performed for more than 2 million fans on this 25 Live arena tour so far. More than 350,000 people flocked to his London performances alone.

Michael has sold more than 100 million pop albums, had six American number one singles and won plenty of awards for tunes including Faith, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go, Careless Whisper, One More Try, Freedom, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me and Too Funky.

Tickets will go on sale through TicketMaster on December 8.

Tuesday night was full of laughter and fun!

Brooke, Caitlyn, and Taylor were all having a blast playing outside, but before that all the kids made pizzas that ended up being extraordinarily good.  Take a look at Brooke’s pizza

Then we all went outside.  Michael was cranking up the tunes, I was taking photos of all the kids, and Brooke, Caitlyn, and Taylor kept everyone entertained by dancing around and bringing smiles to everyone’s face

Första dagen som “mediakändis”, och det har handlat om jobb och jobb – hela dagen. Det har med andra ord varit en relativt odramatisk och ordinär dag, och jag tror att alla (ett par-tre stycken kanske) som såg nyhetsinslaget på TV4 igår INTE var ute på stan idag. Det känns som om att det var lika bra det. Som jag skrev i bloggen igår så skulle ett helt datasystem med kassaregister och allt flyttas under dagen, och det hade nog varit jobbigt att hålla på att skriva autografer hela dagen – om inte annat väldigt ineffektivt. Nu gick det förhållandevis smidigt och bra i stället, även om det finns lite kvar att göra i morgon också.

Dagens träning blev ytterligare en promenad, som har genomförts i hällande regn och höststorm. Regnet har stundtals kommit ned horisontellt under min runda, och jag blev genomblöt trots användande av regnställ (!?). Nu börjar man i och för sig bli van även det (alltså både vädret i sig och att vara blöt), eftersom att det har regnat i snart två veckor i sträck, “off and on”. Man kan ju undra hur i h-sike mycket vatten det kan finnas däruppe… Fortsätter det på detta sätt blir det banne mig inomhusträning resten av projektet.

Projektet ja, slutet närmar sig i alltför hög takt, och det känns som om ett par veckor till inte hade skadat. Det har varit fantastiskt roligt och givande och oavsett utgången på tävlingen så är vi alla vinnare. Trots förkylningar och andra hinder så har vi fortsatt att kämpa, och gjort det med den äran. Ett STORT grattis till oss alla, det är vi värda…

Det kommer säkert att kännas helt OK att börja äta “vanlig” mat nästa vecka, inte minst för att man kan få lite mer variation på kosten, men delvis kommer man nog att sakna enkelheten i MAX-måltiderna tror jag. Lite surt att det inte blev någon “last supper” tillsammans på söndag, det hade varit en perfekt “avslutning” på projektet, men om jag har fattat det rätt så kommer det lite senare.

Nu skall batterierna laddas om till i morgon, sov gott på Er alla, vi hörs.

I’ve been holding out, but just can’t any longer!  It was dark and rainy when I hung out with Jackson and his mom and dad back in September, so we didn’t get all of the pictures we wanted.  I was waiting to post photos until I had part two, but life has happened and we haven’t been able to get together again… yet.  So… meet Jackson –  the cutest and coolest little boy on the block!

The project has taken a new orientation since last week. In few words : the project is about finding a balance, not creating a utopia but giving the tools for autosuficiency. An indipendant ecosystem can only be attained by small ajustments and regulation.

Here is a diagram of two elements we took into account : water and waste.Water is divided into white (drinkable), grey (rain water) and black (cantaminated) water. Each have different treatments or purification. For the project, we need to create artificial evaporation and direct the rain.

Detail of water purification :

Regulation (to be detailed) : an indipendant entity regulates air quality, water volumes. Gives a push when the ecosystem is failing in order to correct mistakes and in time find the right balance.

Speculation :

Habitation bubls are plugged around treatment systems. They link to the machinery underneath and to the fields.

More work to come on fields (parcels/ lots?), on inhabitation (individual/group?, intensive/extensive?…)

Rick is incredibly camp. Something I tried to ignore when we dated. He has been on tour with Michael McIntyre for the past few months, getting porky and doing some porking. Here he is, mincing about backstage. According to Rick, this video has been so popular he now has his own groupies who hang out at the stage door waiting for him. Er… right. Though, going through the comments it seems he might be telling the truth. Weird.

So, as anyone can see from my previous post, it’s time for me to read something that, well, feels a bit less pathological.

I decided my next book would be Chabon’s Manhood for Amateurs, if for no other reason it won’t be the first work of his I’ve read, so I know I probably won’t run screaming from hill to hell and back again, and also because it’s a 14 day loan from the library.

Oh, and I wrote my thesis on themes of masculinity in the poetry of Philip Levine, so I’m pretty dialed in to what traditional notions of masculinity mean to Jewish men. Of course, I’m not Jewish, nor am I particularly masculine — although I suppose that I might be more masculine than the “average” gay man, if there is such a thing.

Chabon is a masterful writer. Should be good!
