According to an article by MCV, Xbox executive Richard Teversham has quite to join apple. In order to join apple, Teversham left his role as senior director of business, insights and strategy for Xbox.

MCV understands that Teversham has accepted an education-related role at the iPod creator’s European office.

Teversham had worked at Microsoft for over 15 years. He held the role of Xbox director for platform and marketing between 2005 and 2007 before becoming strategy boss.

This is a big gain for Apple as they are trying to tout the iPhone and iPod Touch as gaming devices.  It also further adds to speculation the an Apple console may be in the works.   The only reason he is working for apple’s education department is to work off his the remaining time in his contract with Microsoft which presumably stipulates that he cannot work for a rival company’s gaming department.

One of my friends who works in Windows group inspired me to run Windows 7 as my production box.  So I did it over the Friday evening.

• Downloaded the bits – still build 7000 (even though he recommended 7036)
• Obviously saved my data into a USB 500GB drive with another copy on my home server (just in case).
• Clean installed on IBM ThinkPad Lenovo ….and voila I was up and running.
• Installed AV, VPN, Office 2007, Live (http://get.live.com) and man Windows 7 ROCKS!

IBM said Wednesday it won 4,186 U.S. patents in 2008 and became the first company to earn more than 4,000 in a year.

Big Blue also said it plans to increase by 50 percent the number of technical inventions it publishes annually in lieu of seeking patent protection. The company’s target is more than 3,000.

Bethesda Softworks earlier today spoke of the anticipated Downloadable Content for ¨Fallout 3¨. The first add-on will hit Windows and Xbox Live in January , followed with the second one in February and the third one in March.

Operation: Anchorage (January) is about the battle of Liberation of Anchorage.

The Pitt (February) will let us explore the ruins of Pittsburgh.

Broken Steel (March) lets you affiliate with the brotherhood of steel.

Also for those with the Windows-version of the game a free Map/Level-editor will be avaliable in December entitled Garden of Eden Creation Kit.

Yo no lo he instalado, (ni lo pienso instalar), pero la gente de LifHacker , dice que es complicado de des-instalar, por lo que recomienda que si vas hacerlo lo pruebes en una cuenta diferente a la cuenta que siempre usas, porque suele colapsar todo el sistema (Karma de Gwindow$)

Micro$oft, ya no encuentra que hacer… para algunas personas esta caracteristica parecera interesante, para mi no suma nada…

que hace?: cuando tienes muchas aplicaciones abiertas, mueves rapido la que te interese se quede y las demas desaparecen.
