Slippery road conditions across the state, several accidents reported

HARTFORD- As snow started to fall at 5 AM on Sunday, multiple accidents were reported across the state.

With temperatures flirting with freezing some areas became very slick while others saw a light dusting only, but in Hartford off of westbound I-84 at the Asylum Street Exit, Exit 48, four vehicles were involved in a crash. 105 more words

UPDATE: Middletown power outage; repairs complete

Emergency repairs on a major electric circuit in the Borough of Middletown are being completed without any interruption of power to Borough residents.

It had been anticipated that a major circuit in the Borough would have to be shut down this morning to complete those repairs to bowed cross arm which was in danger of breaking and causing a primary line to fall, causing a much wider outage.  62 more words
