… I’ll post my finds too!  Of course we both bought that amazing Tyranny skin, and I’ve wanted this Clawtooth hair since I first saw it on the feeds.   T.Z. is a newish store to me, and I love the cuffs on this Wooly Roll Neck Sweater.  The jacket layer has an odd band of white around the bottom, but you cover it with the prim piece so it won’t matter.  Tres Blah appealed to my inner (or outer) nerd with these “chunky chuck” glasses.   I thought the Milk Motion Plaid pants went perfectly with the sweater,  although, word of warning, the waistband on these lacks detail, meaning you need to cover it with a longish sweater or shirt Lastly, this is my favorite of Miel’s 50L Jewlery Offerings so far (even if I can’t wear most of it because of lack of attachment points – there’s a necklace and bracelett too).

Two posts in one day? O_O I wanted to play with this dress by Anya Ohmai, a 50L friday exclusive this week. The dress is a really simple, structured piece – a preview to her upcoming little project! It reminded me of an artist’s empty canvas, waiting for us fashionistas to dress it up abit =D Well.. it will be interesting to see how others mix and match this dress! Was in an xmas mood again today and decided to go with a wintery, fun theme. The tights are an upcoming prize from Duboo in the trash hunt over at starlust which starts tomorrow, i believe. Benvenuti nella città delle api.
Viaggio nella città delle api è un rpogetto Zemie in progress. Un documentario in fase di costruzione.
Con questo nuovo progetto Zemiafilm vuole raccontare il ponente ligure valorizzandone i personaggi più caratteristici, i tesori nascosti, la cultura ed i saperi locali che vanno oltre il turismo di massa.
Tra Italia e Francia, lungo la valle Roia, accompagnamo quindi l’apicoltore Marco Ballestra verso le sue api. Da anni si dedica a questo piccolo insetto con passione ed ingegno. Una ragione di vita.

Il mondo dell’ape sambra simile a quello dell’uomo: una società parallela con le sue regole e le sue ingiustizie. Tutto ruota intorno ad una grande madre, l’ape regina, ed al miele, dolce ed ambrato nettare su cui essa governa. Gli uomini e le api da millenni si scambiano reciprocamente rispetto e miele.
Paradosso della natura: questo piccolo insetto giallo e nero, produttore di un nettare dolce e delicato, diviene estremamente agressivo e pericoloso se lo si avvicina senza conoscerlo. Un carattere da eroe sta dentro ad ogniuno di questi insetti abituati a non temere uomini ed orsi.
Un ottimo esempio per la Liguria ed i liguri di oggi, cosi’ come per ogni uomo che si trovi a combattere il saccheggio, la distruzione e la svendita del proprio territorio.
Il caso vuole che da qualche tempo le api del mondo siano in pericolo per una ragione ancora sconosciuta.
Un destino parallelo a quello della distruzione della costa ligure che giorno dopo giorno viene occupata e soffocata da nuove colate di cemento e seconde case dalle persiane chiuse.

Partiamo quindi per un viaggio nella città delle api.
Potrebbe essere un ottimo esempio per cercare uno sviluppo economico diverso.

Je me suis envolée, emportée, évadée, légère comme une plume je me suis posée sur Third World. Une île perdue, une inconnue qui m’a attirée, transcendée, poussée au delà. Le paradis.

Décembre s’y est arrêté, et je l’ai regardé se coucher avec mon manteau Aoharu sur les épaules, un peu de douceur. Une plume Scribble dans la bouche et quelques étoiles Sad’s Jewells sur mon collier, un peu de poésie. Quelques frissons aussi, mes bottes Anexx dans l’eau froide, des collants de Miel, et quelques diamants Cheerno.

250 g de farine
1 sachet de levure
125 g de sucre
50 mL de lait
125 g de miel
1 orange
1 cuillère à café de cannelle
1/2 cuillère à café de girofle
1/2 cuillère à café de gingembre

Faire fondre le miel et y ajouter le sucre.

Puis les épices

Le jus de l’orange et le lait.

Et enfin la farine et la levure.

On peut bien sur vérifier la quantité d’épices

Mettre ensuite dans un moule à cake beurré

Et enfourner pour 40 minutes à 150°C
Puis déguster…

• 230 gr. de miel
• 100 gr. de lait
• 100 gr. de beurre demi-sel
• 220 gr. de farine
• 50 gr. de cassonade
• 1 œuf
  
• 1 sachet de levure chimique
• 1 c. café bombée de quatre épices

Préchauffer son four à 190 °C. Mettre le lait, le beurre et le miel dans le bol. Mixer 10 sec. / vit 5 .Programmer 3 mn. /50 °C / vit 1. Ajouter tous les autres ingrédients et programmer 1 mn. / fonction épi.

Faire cuire dans le moule de votre choix 40 mn. à 50 mn. en fonction de la profondeur de votre moule.

Idées:

• pour déguster le foie gras “recette lolomix”
• Goûter, petit déjeuner,…
• Succulent avec de la glace à la vanille, de la marmelade d’orange,….

So, I dunno about everyone else, but, I have a thing for basics. I like the things that you can wear with anything; because of that, I decided to add some basic turtlenecks to my clothing collection for both men and women.  I also released a version that is a little more risque for anyone wanting to turn up the heat or…if you just want your man to look at you and see how cold it is outside.

For women, I released a version that I think looks pretty soft.  My friend said it looked like cashmere so it kinda got that as its name.  It comes in a wide assortment of colours to meet everyone’s taste (I hope).  It also comes in all layers with sculpted neck and sleeve attachments.

Since I make so many colours, I introduced colour packs at my store with this last release; since fatpacks of like, 20 colours can be a bit much for the inventory to handle.  Now you can get 4 colour Plump Packs of my newest female items and hopefully, some of the older ones in the near future.

I didn’t forget about the guys either.  I also released a set of turtlenecks for men.  It comes in not as many colours, simply because I don’t see many men running around in doll pink, peach or pale yellow.  It happens, just not often.  To make things a little better for the guys, I included two sleeve types, one that is long sleeved and the other that is slightly rolled up.  Again, they come in all layers for wear with jackets or as sleeves underneath tee shirts, etc. and have sculpted sleeve and neck attachments.  I also introduced colour packs for guys, all colours are available in the Husky Pack or get a set of 3 colours in the Lil Chub Packs.

Last but not least, the something risque…While I was working on the turtlenecks, a thought came to mind.  Winter = female built in thermostats.  I giggled a bit and made this crop.   Then I thought, hey, I never saw piercings done in SL under shirts.  They may have them but I’ve never seen them.  Well, the other two versions of this happened next.  This top also comes in like a gazillion colours and each colour has three options.  One for pierced with hoops, one for pierced with barbells and the last, non-pierced.  As always, all layers.

En un momento dado y sin saber a que hora el grupo se dividio y mi esposa y yo decimos conocer El Palacio de Luxemburgo que actualmente es la sede del Senado francés y sus jardines están abiertos al público y son considerados por muchos como los más bellos de la ciudad. La construcción de este hermoso palacio y el diseño de sus jardines se debieron a un antojo de María de Médicis, quien cansada de las intrigas reales en el Palacio del Louvre y añorando su tierra natal, la Toscana, decidió comprar estos terrenos, en ese entonces fuera de la zona urbana de Paris, y construir su propio palacio “a la italiana”. Después de algunas negociaciones, la reina logró comprar en 1612 la residencia de un duque de la zona, llamado François de Luxembourg. A pesar de sus intentos por llamarlo “Palacio de Médicis” y a los distintos cambios de propietario que siguieron con el paso del tiempo, el palacio siempre fue conocido por el nombre de su antiguo dueño. Actual mente en los jardines de este palacio se dan cursos de apicultura y la miel obtenida de sus colmenas es vendida en otoño en la Orangerie del jardín.

Thanksgiving again. Who doesn’t love the idea of it? The idea, that is. Up until probably last week we were all excited to see distant relatives again, have a sit down meal and really get to catch up.

However, by now, a weekend of crowded grocery shopping, insane parking lots, nagging family members, traditions to follow, and an insanely large menu to be cooked all within the span of one or two days?

Yeah. I logged on SL too. <3

So! A shopping spree later, and I feel all better! Plastik’s Bael Special Edition skins are absolutely amazing. As you’ve probably seen, I’m always pale as the undriven snow, but these had such an amazing glow and vitality to them that I couldn’t resist, and the makeup options had me agonizing over which to choose for an hour. They come with three different sets of her artfully created elf ears, all matching perfectly, and an interesting set of eyes. The original version had the right eye blacked out on an eye layer, and a white contact for the left, but I’m a sucker for Poetic’s eyes still, so I just shifted the contact to the right and colored it black.

Cause who, cooking thanksgiving dinner, hasn’t decided that running outside is more enjoyable at one point or another?

The new Miel boots gave such a delicate look to the whole ensemble, as well as the airy feeling of the skirt, so I threw on a few dark, rich colors to get the feeling of Thanksgiving in. It really is a lovely time of year, even with the stress!

So, no matter what your family does, or how they irritate you, just remember. There are more shoes in SL to be bought.

Craving Comfort

Some days, I roll out of bed, peel open my eyes, and stumble my way to my dresser, just to pull out, a fresh pair of PJ’s.  These are what I call bum days, we all have them… the days, you just want nothing but relaxation.  Then there are days, you want that comfort… but you can’t go out in PJ’s… those are the over sized sweater comfort days.  This season,  I have those a lot.  When I saw this sweater from Skin Flicks, which, coincidentally matches my favorite over sized sweater in real life, I knew it was meant to be… love at first SLight.

Comforting Clothing

So, as this sweater adorns me … here, at my computer… I’ve put together a look for you … here, on my computer.  When my eyes fell on this shirt from BP, the bulging buttons and tiny little ruffles, I saw endless possibilities, this… being one of them of course.  Paired with my go to trousers from Armidi… just the right hues of heather and hints if silver are brought out.  These funny girl flats from Periquita are one of my favorite pair of fall back shoes here in SL.  They remind me of my favorite pair in RL, which, again, I happen to be wearing as we speak.  Smitten, made this adorable hanging heart pendant YEARS ago… though an oldie, it has been an active part of my inventory ever since!  These Genius glasses from Miel, which I’ve worn for a look of the day before… and will again… are so easily re-textured, re-sized, and fit to any AV, that glasses lovers like myself would be crazy not to own them.  Top it off with this simple chic hair from fri.day and you’ve got a comfortable ensemble to grace the grid (or otherwise) in any day!

Saturdays are usually the best days to have a break and have a day out.  So that’s what I did.  I’m all for cute and comfortable and that’s what this outfit said to me.  I built the outfit around the hair which is the newest of my favorite hairs.  Don’t be surprised if it starts popping up in more pictures because that’s how much I love it.  For a nice change, I went blonde.  Normally I’m into the brown shades in hair but lately I’ve found myself going towards blonde shades.  Might be a whole new look for me, we’ll see.  The hairs a steal at a cool 95L plus it’s scripted for resize which makes it easy to adjust and you don’t have to worry about overstretching.
