Well, this is something I waited for, and have been waiting for.  I was prepared for Y2K, for whatever it might have brought. I had food, water, ammo,  and had been ordained as a minister beforehand- all the bases were covered. I am still wondering what happened.  I have a theory.

Some millennialists, theologians, end-times enthusiasts claim that, because the bible was written so long ago, dates and times may be off. This is the explanation we began hearing on the morning of January 1st, 2000. They said the return of Jesus may in fact be in the year 2002, 2006, 2009, maybe even 2011 (December 24th perhaps). I will continue using the year 2000 as my benchmark, as it supports my theory, which is this: Jesus came back, saw how we had messed everything up, decided he had done enough in the past (remember that whole cross incident?), and went home.  Simple.

But what would his father say? Hmm. Another simple answer, ala Southpark: “I sent you people my only begotten son, and he’s never been the same since.” (As Jesus twirled around, alone on a swing, staring off into the distance.) No wini, wici, widi. Rather wini, wici, defugere.

Its an explanation. And we humans need explanations. And I guess there is always the Tzolkin and the Haab; maybe the Maya have the answer.

Fy faen sier jeg bare. Luftslottet som sprengtes var en utrolig bra avslutning på en utrolig bra serie. Om du fortsatt ikke har sett Menn som hater kvinner, synes jeg du burde gjøre det så snart som mulig. Mange vil ikke se filmene fordi de er svenske, men de går virkelig glipp av mye. Svenskene kan film, og disse tre filmene er så utrolig gripende at jeg flere ganger får lyst til å rope ut til kinolerretet av ren frustrasjon, gråte av sinne og klappe i hendene av herlig skadefryd.

La última entrega Millenium se coge con ganas, pues Stieg Larsson nos deja con la miel en los labios al terminar la anterior. Bien podrían juntarse en un solo libro, si hubiera un formato capaz de aguantar su peso sin descuajaringarse.

Mikael Blomkvist todavía no ha podido probar la inocencia de una maltrecha Lisbeth Salander, que se recupera en el hospital rodeada de enemigos dispuestos a impedírselo. Pero Lisbeth tiene recursos. Gracias a sus pocos amigos y grandes habilidades como hacker, saldrá virtualmente de su confinamiento para allanar el terreno en vistas al juicio que le espera.

Mientras, la policía sigue tratando de desvelar que ocurrió realmente con los reporteros Dag y Mia, quienes son Alexander Zalachenko y Ronald Niedermann, y por qué parece haber una organización secreta del gobierno que les encubre.

La revista Millenium sigue las investigaciones de cerca, y su redacción no estará exenta de peligro.

“La reina en el palacio de las corrientes de aire” está en la línea del anterior libro, y a su altura. El ritmo es bueno y la forma de escribir de Larsson entretenida incluso en los momentos irrelevantes. Pero todo eso da igual. Llegados a este punto uno la devora en un santiamén con tal de saber que será de Salander, ¿irá a prisión? ¿buscará a Mimmi? ¿donde está Niedermann? ¿saltará el escándalo en el servicio secreto sueco? ¿logrará Millenium publicar otro bombazo?

Stieg Larsson ha creado personajes con identidad propia, bien definidos, complejos, y ha logrado que nos metamos en sus mentes y nos hagamos una idea bastante exacta del tipo de personas que serían en la vida real, con sus virtudes y sus defectos, buenos o malos. Ese es el punto fuerte de sus novelas.

La crítica social es patente en los tres libros. La corrupción en las grandes empresas, los prejuicios sociales, la sed de poder de a quien se le da un poco, las injusticias y crímenes que se permiten por una burocracia absurda, incompetencia o aceptación social, la manipulación de los medios, etc… Pero sobretodo Larsson defiende la igualdad entre hombres y mujeres, en todos los aspectos, como el trabajo, los derechos, el sexo o la vida en pareja. No en vano sus personajes mas fuertes y carismáticos son mujeres. Lisbeth Salander, Erika Berger, Harriet Vanger, Miriam Wu, Sonja Modig, Monica Figuerola… También nos habla de valores como la amistad, la lealtad o la tolerancia.

Los tres libros enganchan, crean adicción. Rebosan suspense y acción, y no es de extrañar que se hayan querido pasar a la gran pantalla. El problema es que para hacerlo bien se hubiera tenido que producir algo como lo que Peter Jackson hizo con “El señor de los anillos”, y que pese a su magnitud dejó pasar algunos detalles que todos los lectores echaron en falta. En las películas de Millenium, que no están mal del todo, la cantidad de cosas, ya no detalles, que se dejan pasar es enorme, y se han visto obligados a cambiar algunos sucesos para comprimir la historia de cada entrega en dos horas.

Unas novelas totalmente recomendables. Lástima que Stieg Larsson nos haya dejado y no podamos disfrutar mas de sus historias.

Von 1984 bis heute ...

Das ist nun schon der zweite mit “Faszination Nikon” betitelte Artikel. Aber Nikon, das ist Technik-Geschichte und Mythos zugleich. Und auch und gerade derjenige, der seit 25 Jahren mit den Kameras dieses Herstellers arbeitet, kann sich diesem Mythos nicht entziehen.

Ja, das ist der Aufhänger, seit 25 Jahren habe ich Nikon-Kameras in Händen. Und meine älteste ist gar bereits 33 Jahre alt. Und funktioniert noch immer. Ohne je ein einziges Mal im Service oder in Reparatur gewesen zu sein.

Von der analogen in die digitale Welt mit Nikon

Robustheit und Langlebigkeit bei härtester Beanspruchung zeichnet Nikon-Kameras seit 1959 aus, seit der legendären Nikon F, Nikons erster Spiegelreflex, also seit 50 Jahren. Und seit 50 Jahren ist die Nikon das bevorzugte Handwerkszeug des Berufsfotografen und des ambitionierten Amateurs.

Ich habe nicht von Anfang an mit Nikon fotografiert. Meine erste Profi-SLR war ein Konkurrenzmodell: die Canon F-1.

Die erste Nikon habe ich 1984 gekauft und ein gutes Jahr lang parallel zu meiner Canon-Ausrüstung benutzt. Ich schätzte bei der F-1 die selektive Belichtungsmessung. Und daß sie eine vollmechanische Kamera war. Mein Mißtrauen gegen eine elektronische Kamerasteuerung wie in der Nikon F3 war damals groß gewesen. Andererseits lag die Nikon hervorragend in der Hand. Zusammen mit dem Motor bildete sie eine ergonomische Einheit mit der sich gut arbeiten ließ.

Meine “Aversion” gegen die Elektronik ließ mich ein Jahr später eine andere Nikon kaufen, die legendäre F2, die damals mit der Einführung der F3 alle “Elektronik-Skeptiker” zu erwerben trachteten. Ich kaufte ein Modell von 1976, ohne AI-Kupplung und noch mit Mitnehmerkralle. Nikons berühmter Links-Rechts-Ratsch beim Einsetzen des Objektivs, mit dem dem Photomic-Sucher die Lichtstärke der jeweils verwendeten Optik mitgeteilt wurde.

Zwei motorisierte Nikon F2 waren bis zum Frühjahr 1990 meine “Arbeitspferde”.

Auch wenn meine Ablehnung gegenüber elektronischen Kameras zwischenzeitlich geschwunden war, so hatte ich mit diesen Geräten keinen ernsthaften Grund, wieder auf die F3 umzusteigen.

Erst 1990, bei der Arbeit zur Illustration des ADAC Natur-Reiseführer Deutschland …

… bot sich mir die Möglichkeit recht preisgünstig das Nachfolgemodell F4 als Vorführgerät zu erwerben. Unbeschadet dessen blieben die beiden F2 weiter im Einsatz und auch weiterhin meine bevorzugten Kameras.

Die hatten Gewicht, mehr als die F4, lagen “satt” in der Hand. Der Motor bildete ein ausgewogenes Gegengewicht zu meiner Lieblings-Optik, dem 2,8/300 mm von Tamron.

Kein Thema, solange die (professionelle) Fotografie analog war, auf Film, Dia oder Negativ.

Im Profi-Sektor war auf einmal alles digital ...

Doch irgendwann, seit Beginn des Jahrtausendwechsels, mußte sich der Profi auf neue Gegebenheiten einstellen: die Fotografie war digital geworden. Nicht unbedingt und zwingend die Aufnahmetechnologie, aber der Kunde verlangte zunehmend Bilddateien. Dias fürs Archiv oder Color-Prints zu Aktuellem war nicht mehr “in”.

Nun gut, irgendwann ist man die Nachtschichten am Scanner leid …

Auch wenn mich die horrenden Preise professioneller D-SLR’s lange abgeschreckt hatten, Ende 2005 hatte ich wieder Glück. Wie vor 15 Jahren mit der F4 kam ich an ein Vorführgerät. Und seither arbeite ich mit einer Nikon D2H.

Das ist bequemer, nicht mehr zu scannen, gar keine Frage. Ich würde, noch nicht mal aus “Spaß an der Freude” jemals auch nur ein einziges Foto auf Film belichten. Aber nicht, daß jetzt jemand glaubt, die digitale Technik sei der “Quantensprung”, schon gar nicht die allseits grassierende Megapixel-Hype um immer mehr und noch immer mehr.

Auf den Verkaufserfolg selbst ist das ganz ohne jeglichen Einfluß. Mein Beispiel nachstehend. Links ein Digitalfoto, dessen Ausgangsbasis der Scan von einem 400-er Fuji Color-Negativ gewesen ist, rechts eine digitale Aufnahme mit der D2H.

Zweimal digital, aber einmal von analog ...

  Man’s struggle to conquer the environment will be over.  Though a stubborn earth has resisted cultivation and produced only at the continual effort of its inhabitants, people have survived.  Think how wonderful it will be when man and nature are again in harmony.  Bumper crops will be the rule rather than the exception.  All the earth will become productive.  Even the deserts will become watered gardens.

  The enmity between men and animals will be put away. Hear the prophet describe this millennial scene: “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.  And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.” (Isaiah 11:6–7)

  Cults and all false teachers will be non-existent.  True worship of the Lord will cover the earth: “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9)

  When you are discouraged by the world conditions or personal problems, remember the coming Kingdom of Christ.  This earth has a great future.  And so do you, if you belong to Him.

Les dejo la coleccion Millenium de Stieg Larsson, una trilogia fascinante llena de mucho suspenso, politica, vinculos y la sociedad de hoy en dia.

A titulo personal fue embriagante a tal punto que no queria dejar de leer, ya era tan familiar leer la vida muy pecualiar de Michael y hacerse la idea que Lisbeth es como cualquiera de nosotros.

Our neighbour was a driver in KSRTC, living in rented house.
His daughter Geeta was a dark, tall, slim girl, working in a shop at Palakad town. She has a younger brother, still in school when, we were there.
An offer came for her hand. The boy is handsome. His parents are well to do, both getting pension, in addition to their savings, a house in Thiruvanthapuram etc. They have only this son whom they want to entrust to a reliable loving girl.
At that point we had to go to Delhi. On our return, we brought Ammu, Sudha’s daughter Meghna, who was only two years old, as there was nobody to look after her, when the parents went to work.
 There was no such decision. We were inside the railway compartment. Damodaran and Sudha were on the platform. When my wife stretched her hands and called Ammu, she jumped into her hands; the train moved. So that was how she came in  our custody. As some wit put it, we bring babies into this world, jus to play with them!
I used to take her wherever I went, in the village. She never showed any sign of remembering her parents; but, when Damodaran and Sudha got into the autorickshaw on their return, after a brief vacation with us in the village, she went away with them, without once turning bach to look at us! My wife was on the point of tears.
One day Geeta came from Thiruvananthapuram. She looked serious. Her man was a spoilt child. After break fast, he goes away with his friends to roam about in the city. At noon, he comes back, takes rest and again, in the evening another outing, returning home after dinner in the restaurants.
Three times, she has to wash his cloths. Always, he goes in clean ironed cloths. Geeta is his washer woman.
An itching caused a nuisance to me. Nothing was visible. Thuppan told me it is caused by small mice. After observing my abdomen he confirmed it.
I went to a doctor, who gave me a medicine to be applied all over my body, for seveal days. No relief came except when it is applied.
Then I poured kerosine oil all over my body. My body became clean. I became fair, but the mice thrived.
Murugan told it comes from the river water. Several persons are victims, not myself alone. It was little consolation.
In March 2000, we came to see Leena’s baby and could not go back to CS Puram, as there was nobody to help her. My mice disappeared, without any reason. I was very much releaved.
The baby born on the auspicious day, when Ammathiruvady is brought to our ancestral home, on Makam of the month of Meenam,every year, was named Ananya.
Premchand, Leena’s father-in-law was also there. They stayed at their son Shishir’s house at Lajpatnagar, quite near to our place, and he woud come to see Ananya daily.
He was younger to me, very jolly, but suffering from diabetes and heart  trouble. Doctors at  AIIMS had recommended biopsy. I think a ring was inserted already.
At his instance I too joined the Yoga course, for ten days, provided by  the AIIMS, free of cost.
Of course, the classes were good, but of no use, unless we continue the practice during our life time. This is not practicable. A proper study to determine the efficacy of the system, I believe, has not been conducted. The pulse rate comes down. That is because we remain in a detached atmosphere, free from normal tensions. The same experience can be had, when we pray at a temple or  church etc.
In the library attached to the Yoga cell, I came across a remarkable book titled POWER HEALING by Dr. Leo Galland. He is a normal allopathic doctor, who examines those cases, where doctors are unable to find out the root cause and fail. He has recorded a number of  strange cases. In one case, doctors treated a patient for heart attack who died after repeated attacks. His investigation revealed that, the patient died of carbon monoxide poisoning. The deceased was working in an old cellar, peeling off plaster, under which the poisonous gas had accumulated, over a long time, in some pockets. THE POISON CAUSED THE SYMPTOMS OF HEART ATTACK.
Another case was a young girl whose skin was extremely dry. She was a schizophrenic patient. Seeig her skin, the doctor told her to take cod liver oil, which contans omega 3 fatty acids. AFTER SOME SIX MONTHS, SHE RETURNED TO GIVE HIM THANKS. She was cured of her mental condition. Now this oil is given routinely to all mental patients in England, I read in the news paper.

ce m-a fascinat a fost ca pe langa povestea foarte bine scrisa, am aflat si o gramada de lucruri despre suedia (tara de bastina a autorului si locul unde se petrece actiunea). si mai ales mi-a placut foarte mult cum e descris stockholmul, intr-atat de mult incat mi-am modificat planurile de concediu pe anul viitor si l-am trecut ca destinatie obligatorie.

cartea are si o poveste de dragoste (sau ma rog, mai multe…dar niciuna principala), e si politista, si psihologica,  si de actiune, si oarecum istorica (ma rog, istoria recenta a suediei…). eu nu citesc carti istorice si mai ales politice, dar asta
este cu adevarat fascinanta. dupa ce am terminat-o am dat mai departe catre ai mei parinti care, surpriza, au inceput sa se certe ca mama a inceput-o si a uitat ca mai avea treaba prin casa iar apoi a inceput si tata care dupa ce a terminat primul volum (mai repede ca mama…ca ea totusi si-a adus aminte ca are treaba prin casa), o bodoganea pe mama ca nu termina mai repede celelate volume.

The Standing  Committee on Academic Research and Issuing Fatwaas has reviewed the many questions and requests for fatwaas  submitted to His Excellence the Grand Mufti and forwarded to the Standing Committee from the general trust of the  Council of Senior ‘Ulamaa’ (no. 3825, dated 21/7/1420 AH). People have asked questions concerning the rulings on  paying attention to and celebrating the European (Gregorian) millenium, and others matters pertaining to this  event. It is sufficient for us to quote just two of the questions asked: In the first question, it is asked:  “Nowadays we are seeing media reports about the events and preparations leading to the Year 2000 CE and the  beginning of the third millenium. The kuffaar, Jews, Christians and others, are excited about this and are pinning  great hopes on this event. My question, O respected Shaykh, is this: some so-called Muslims are also showing  interest in this event and regard it as an auspicious time for getting married or doing certain things. Some of  them are advertising this event in their stores and companies etc., in ways that are offensive to Muslims. What is  the shar’i ruling on respecting this occasion, showing an interest in it, exchanging greeting on this occasion –  whether verbally or by sending cards – etc.? May Allaah reward you with much good on behalf of Islam and the  Muslims.”

Hoy se estrena el nuevo OPAC (Catálogo On-line) de las bibliotecas públicas de Barcelona: Aladí.

La fecha del estreno va ligada a la puesta en marcha del nuevo programa de gestión bibliotecaria (Millennium) que se usará a partir de ahora en todas las bibliotecas de la red de la Diputación de Barcelona. Las ventajas del nuevo OPAC son significativas respecto al anterior. Pese a que se podía haber trabajado un poco más el motor de búsqueda (todos nos hemos acostumbrado a Google), con el nuevo catálogo tendremos aplicaciones bastante curiosas al alcance de nuestra mano. Entre ellas:

• Aunque es un avance puramente estético y no está aún disponible para la mayoría de los títulos, se podrá visualizar la portada de los libros al hacer la búsqueda. Les vendrá bien a los que tienen poca memoria y no están seguros de si el libro que han buscado es el que querían realmente.
• Podremos ordenar los resultados por diferentes campos, de manera que las ediciones más modernas nos aparezcan antes, que nos agrupe por tipos de documentos, etc.
• Se podrá valorar documentos. De esta manera recomendaremos, indirectamente, documentos que nos han gustado – o no – a otros usuarios interesados, que podrán ver las valoraciones cuando usen el buscador.
• Podremos activar el histórico de lecturas. De especial interés a la gente desmemoriada, pero muy lectora, que no suele recordar si un libro lo ha leído o no.
• Podremos guardar búsquedas. Así, cuando encontremos algún documento interesante pero que no nos interesa coger en préstamo en ese momento (por no disponer de tiempo o por tener otras lecturas pendientes), podremos almacenarlo en un listado interno para consultarlo en el futuro. El sistema permite almacenar diferentes listados y exportarlos.

Cleopatra Stratan vine cu o nouă surpriză muzicală. Micuţa interpretă cântă mai nou în limba rusă. Este vorba despre  celebrul “Ghiţă” care a devenit ”Jora”, cântec care care deja a apărut pe internet. Cleopatra va susţine pe 23 decembrie un concert numit „Colinde Magice”, la Sala Palatului din Bucureşti. Cleo, acum în vârstă de 7 ani, va cânta mai multe colinde româneşti, interpretate în manieră proprie, şi va fi acompaniată de trupa Millenium din Chişinău. Organizatorii spectacolului, Media Services International, au cerut Consiliului Naţional al Audiovizualului promovarea concertului în regim de campanie culturală, însă CNA nu a fost de acord: „Este o afacere. Copilul ăsta face bani. Eu nu pot să-l promovez ca fiind necomercial”, a spus Narcisa Iorga, membru al CNA. Spectacolul va fi difuzat în direct de Societatea Română de Televiziune.  La numai trei ani, Cleopatra Stratan şi-a lansat primul album din carieră şi a fost declarată cea mai tânară artistă din lume. Albumul “La vârsta de trei ani” a primit două discuri de platină în vara anului 2006. CD-ul s-a vândut în mai mult de 150.000 de exemplare în România. Cea mai cunoscută piesă de pe acest album a fost “Ghiţă”.

The last millennium came and went and we realized we had nothing to fear. But why do we still seem to be paralyzed by the grips of this dark monster, that makes us think twice on some days, about getting out into the sun? I see many people write about their sadness, their pain, and their anxieties. With the collective stress shaken about by the current economic crisis, it can sometimes be hard to imagine that we actually are evolving.

But, what if it was all part of the plan? After all, it isn’t such a bad thing to question the choices we have made, nor is it horrible for the current events to leave us with no room, but to question the choices we are presently making. Many of us are feeling unprepared to confront such challenges, as if a loud noise has woken us from a deep sleep. Do we fear the noise, lock our bedroom door, and go back to sleep with a hope that the noise was just nothing? Or do we respond to our gut feeling and investigate into where the noise had mysteriously come from?

Without a second thought, although caught unprepared, are we willing to do what it takes to find out what has disturbed us from our comfortable spot under the warm blankets? Ethics is now in question in the GALACTIC CYCLE:

The duration of each stage in the Galactic Cycle is 394 days, compared to the 19.7 years per stage in the Planetary Cycle. It’s no wonder we are feeling as if ‘time’ is speeding up, but the acceleration we are sensing is actually that of the energy frequencies, driving evolution. The collective advancements that we used to accomplish in 20 years, we are now accomplishing in 1 year.

January 5th, 1999 marked the beginning of the Galactic Cycle. Looking back at the past decade certainly can feel like watching an Armageddon movie. We’ve witnessed natural catastrophic events such as tsunamis, volcano eruptions, and torrential rains causing major floods, killing hundreds of thousands of people. Just as an example, the earthquake that hit India in 2001 killed more than 20 000 people. And I’m sure you would still remember the earthquake that shook the Indian Ocean, sending mountains of water to sweep away more than 290,000 people, from South Asia to as far as South Africa. In addition to these violent events that continue to this day, our world has been suffering from major famine, economic crisis and environmental nightmares.

So, what have we been doing about all this?  Is there a good reason for us to be anxious, to be sad, and to be in pain?  Are we, in fact, evolving?

To those of you who had anticipated Part 5 of ‘Just to clear up any confusion with 2012′, I apologize for having skipped a couple of days of publication. I have been reviewing the world events from the past decade, and it has been quite interesting to make the connections. Like following the dots to make an intricate picture, the numbers aren’t always easy to follow. But challenge is fun, and I’m excited to share with you the next finished product when it’s ready. It’s one thing to enter the kingdom it’s another to inherit it. Entering through the gate of salvation takes us into the kingdom of God…but inheriting it and partaking in the kingdom of God is not the same. We inherit the kingdom only through trials, testing, endurance and the refining of fire until we reflect the image of the king.

When Jesus tells the people “I did not know you”, he’s saying I didn’ have intimate fellowship with you and as a result you don’t get an invite to the wedding feast. I know of you, I’ve seen you around, I know of you by name, but we’re not friends and certainly not close enough for me to give you an invite.

These ones never enter the second gate of inheritance - there is no ruling and reigning with Christ in the kingdom of God – only weeping and nashing of teeth. Saved? I believe so they have escaped the fire only with their lives and have escaped the lake of fire – the destination of the doomed.

This life is like a job interview for eternity – we do well – we hear these words “well done good and faithful servant”, if not- ” I did not know you”.

How do we do well in the job interview – every Christian inheritantly knows the answer to this – this is living as life full of the Holy Spirit, daily, and walking in obedience to his word. No journey is the same, and every trial is a little different but the key is denying ourselves and picking up our cross and following Him. It’s in the dying you find life – and its in His life we posses and inherit the kingdom of God.

Un libro dos que me gustan. Posto que o protagonista, Mikael Blomkvist é un periodista de economía que trata de sacar os trapos suxos de empresas mediante artigos publicados a través da (súa) revista especializada Millenium, podía parecer que se trataba dun libro excesivamente ubicado dentro do ámbito económico. Pero o certo é que non é así, de feito a protagonista nun principio nada ten que ver coa economía. Trátase dunha rapaza nova inimiga da sociedade, á que lle asignaron un tutor/administrador por ser aparentemente incapaz de poñer orde na súa vida. Pero Lisbeth Salander, que así se chama, non ten nin un pelo de tonta. De feito é unha das hackers máis notables de toda Suecia e gracias as súas habilidades é quen de averiguar calquera cousa de quen sexa nun abrir e pechar de ollos. Os seus camiños se atopan cando Mikael recibe un encargo dun anciano empresario (Henry Vagner) que leva a metade da súa vida tratando de resolver a misteriosa desaparición dun membro da súa familia. Esta misión traslada a Mikael a Hedestad, o pobo onde ocorreron os feitos e máis adiante úneselle Lisbeth como reforzo, gracias ao seu traballo nunha importante empresa de seguridade. A misión é certamente complexa e entre os protagonistas xurde unha historia de amor imposible mentres van resolvendo pouco a pouco o grande misterio da familia Vagner. Stieg  Larsson ten un estilo fresco e natural que engancha desde o primeiro momento. A triloxía promete ser unha saga das de lectura obrigatoria. De feito xa conta coa súa versión cinematográfica.

Jag tror nog att den största mardrömmen som hänt för Stieg är att han är död.

No I don’t know why I did that either, but at the same time I couldn’t resist, well I’m sure we’ll find all sorts of things like that in our lifetime! <<WAT! Anyway, on that note we return to the matter in hand, this blog! Now in my last few blogs I have been bragging about how much, well, nothing really happens, not saying thats particularly changed, but, well, a few things have happened over the last few days I thought I’d share with the world!

We’re off to see Nickelback!
I know what you’re thinking, damn Ben why didn’t you add that in to your blog title, thats pretty epic, dude, or something, but well the reason I didn’t is … well, let me explain. On Wednesday night I got a phone call from Rob asking if I wanted to see Nickelback, and I was like, well, yeah of course, so agreed that the details would be filled tomorrow, which would also be when it would happen, put the phone down. So, I’m like, yeh, Nickelback gig, rock on! Then, I later found out that it actually was the Christmas Light switch on at Leeds, which would be still alright had it not be for my Mum informing me from Real Radio, who just so happen to organise this event of epicness, so yeh brill, trust me the replacement is worth waiting for!
So, me, Rob and James (Rob’s brother) set off to the bus stop where we met Ben (not me obviously) and set off to the bus stop where we we’re to go to Dewsbury to meet Trish, who’s Trish, well its Rob’s new GF, don’t you read my blogs, arrrghghh! ….Anyway, so, bus to Dewsbury, train to Leeds, wooo train. I actually got an extreemly cheap ticket for the train, I had £10 and it was like 30-odd pence, yeh love carrying that change, then my ticket never got checked so in reality I could of probably just not got one and enjoyed a light pocket, but I now had a determined challenge to spend my change through the day, wayy! So, we arrived in Leeds and who did I see, well, on Rob’s birthday I saw Ashley from College, well this time I saw Michael from College, when I’m saying from College, I mean last year when the course wasn’t full of di**s. So, had a chat to him, turned out he was off to the same place but was meeting his girlfriend, so yeh, so eventually I joined the gang and continued on to the rather expectedly large crowd. It was absolutely chucking it down which was bad, the Nickelback not performing was confirmed, ugghh, but Pixie Lott is still coming, wopty flipping duu, refrain me from doing summersaults in excitement, OK maybe that was harsh, if anything she’s quite good looking, anyway, and my age + 1, I know, bonus, anyway again, but the fact that Nickelback wasn’t here meant they’d to fill the gap and who with, well the first was the crap X-Factor singer who had that hideous dress and was fat, link at the bottom of this blog of a YouTube link. But then, ooo it all started to kick off, on the stage came Loraine Kelly!!! OH MY GOD, IT’S that one from LK Today thats on when I’m either not awake or at college, or have much better things to do or watch. Then when they filled the rest in with idiots dressed in costumes singing ‘Frosty The Snowman’ which call me rather weird I don’t actually know the words to, I think we’d had enough, definitely Ben had, Rob later said it wasn’t happy that Ben didn’t like it, but, Rob, seriously, face it, it wasn’t the best of shows! Anyway, so, where to go now, well, we ended up tracing all the way back to Cleck and going to Weatherspoons, then James had to go home, and huhh, so Ben took James home and I was left with Rob and Trish, who later had probably the biggest fuss to going home I’ve ever seen, seriously if I had a Guinness World Record adjudicator with me, we’d have a record on our hands, all I’m gonna say is he wasn’t like that with Beth, so thats a good sign, anyway, look at me talking about people on here, oo! It’s not like I’ve revealed that some people **** in the toilets and shout it on an almost full bus or anything! I think we’re even. Anywho, so yeh, so I went with them for the journey and ooo it was indeed a fun journey, to Dewsbury, then in the Red Corner, Rob “Fore the Taxi” and in the Blue Corner, Trish “I’ll walk I’ll be fine”. I’m not dissing them, I’ve just never seen someone have so much fuss over each other, anyway, when the night ended we got home, on the same bus as well, ooo! But then came a bluddy other trouble, just as we were getting close to our stop, the bus lights turn off and he goes the otehr way, ARTGHH, so we ran out of the bus basically, we almost got deported!
YEAH! Anyway, oh yeh I spent my money on McDonnalds, I got Large and a Small portion of fries as their just isn’t enough in the portion of large, don’t you tink, oo and some Munchies! Spent rest today on Lucozade and toast, woo living the high life me!
When I got home I gave my Mum a heart attack which was kinda funny, it probably wouldn’t be if it was an actual heart attack but ya know what I mean.

Anyway, just gonna finish by letting you know that Windows 7 Review will happen when it happens, the RKUK Toolbar will have an update soon with Yahoo! Bing and Dogpile search added, thanks for the requests guys. We’ve got a proxy site, oh and Selection 77 is out. Breath it, breath out, it is indeed all starting to happen. Such a pity its gonna absolutely pi** it down all weekend … bugger. Oh well, I’m a Celeb starts on Sunday and of course X-Factor where surely Lloyd should go now!

En se faisant passer pour des agents du gouvernement, ils obtiennent du policier une clé capable de décoder tous les systèmes cryptés du monde. Mais le policier se rend compte de la supercherie et prend les choses en main. Avec son groupe d’experts, il mettra fin aux plans machiavéliques des terroristes.

En 1995, Internet offre de nouvelles possibilités de scénarios. Dans “Traque sur Internet”, Angela Bennett, experte en informatique, se retrouve malgré elle au cœur d’un réseau de terrorisme. Là encore, la survie du monde repose sur les épaules de la hackeuse.

Dans “Matrix”, c’est la philosophie du hacking qui est vénérée. Le hacker est l’élu qui sauvera l’humanité de l’avilissement, pas grâce à ses talents informatiques mais parce que son activité lui permet de penser par lui-même et d’enfreindre les règles d’une société autoritaire.

Enfin dans “Millénium”, sorti en 2009, la hackeuse Lisbeth Salander devient la partenaire d’un journalise d’investigation. Son apparence chétive et gothique cache un génie de l’informatique qui permettra au journaliste de faire éclater d’énormes scandales au grand jour.
