En (alligevel ikke) helt almindelig dag, hvor jeg kamikaze-cyklede i indre KBH, slog det mig, HVAD der redder denne udtrådte klode fra den totale trashing:

SEX, KLIMA & ROCK ´N ROLL!!!

Tre ting der får min verden til at spinne rundt ligesom Kylie Minoque og hendes raison d´etre af en røv. Hvorfor skulle det ikke kunne gøre det samme for dig?

Her kommer en art manifest:

1. SEX.

Folk skal ha´mere på den dumme – og det skal være pure pleasure! Kvalitet og kvantitet kan for min skyld gå hånd i hånd hér. Nymfomani slider mig bekendt ikke på ozonlaget. Den kvindelige orgasme er et af kardinalpunkterne – at alle kvinder kunne komme – ville afstedkomme en global positiv humørsvingning på størrelse med et Richterskala rekordjordskælv! Mer´sex = bedre sex = lykkefix =  mer´sex = glæde & overskud = Kærlighed (osså´ til andre end dig selv).

2. KLIMA.

Damn, vi er på røven, indrømmet. Og det er ok, at synes, at det er for sent at gøre en forskel “for jeg skal bare leve i nuet og realisere mig selv og lave alt mulig/unuligt hedonistisk lir på et flytoilet“. Men M A X  49% af tiden. TRO PÅ DET 51% af tiden, MINDST. Vi dør på en eller anden mere eller mindre obskur facon før eller siden anyway –  men las os sparke en jordklode, der ikke er en skodklode, videre – shall we not? JO VI SKAL! (& KAN!) Tilgiv mig min Obamastyle, men det er fedt at blive revet med af sig selv. Lad os gøre det sjovt at spare og cool at passe på!

3. ROCK N´ROLL.

F… hvor er der få ting der kan det musik kan. En flopfilm, kan reddes af et godt soundtrack. Det kan musik gøre med stort set hvad som helst. Endda discountforårsruller! SÅ “Skru op for lyden ikke for varmen!”(Det lyder sku da meget godt, mon den kan sælges?) Fokusér. Snyd ikke dig selv for alle de magiske musikalske øjeblikke der bare ligger og venter på dig derude. Lån mig dine ører og jeg vil spille dig en sang –  I´m your provider! N.E.R.D & Beatles er ok – men vi skal længere ind. Og det kommer vi.

On inital reflection I can only think of the Minogue sisters and Jason Donovan. And admittedly you can’t say a bad word about Kylie (not because of her music, but because people will jump you). Deeper research, or about 15 minutes more research, brings AC/DC, Jet, Wolfmother and INXS into the mix. I’m not exactly dazzled by anything, although I did enjoy Wolfmother’s performance at T in the Park in 2006, but still, for 21.5 million people music seems to be the final interest. So stop concentrating on destroying us at sport and start to focus on music. One final point… Empire of the Sun, one/two/maybe three good songs, but not fully on the radar of brilliant music. I’ll keep looking.

Kylie Minogue – Nothing To Lose

On a glorious September late afternoon cucumber sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and a plethora of tiny cakes were being served to a gathering of people all overly excited , waiting to meet Kylie Minogue at the launch of her new Kylie At Home Bedding range.  Her time of arrival was due to be 5pm.  Fashionably late she arrived, (with entourage) at 6pm.

A hush swooped over the Orchard Room at the Grove hotel and in walked a diminutive Kylie, coyly and slowly awash a media frenzy of photographers who were strategically placed throughout the grounds of the Grove hotel, to photograph not only Kylie but, as an added bonus, the England football team, who were staying at the hotel.

She looked beautiful:  A sweetheart necked, gold sequined above the knee, figure hugging Matthew Williamson creation with some incredibly high-heeled, strappy, gold sparkly sandals.  Her feet tinier than our five-year old daughter.  Hair swept back into a swinging pony tail, nails perfectly manicured and very subtle make up.  Kylie glowed!

She was a perfect lady, working the room with ease.  There was not a single person to whom she didn’t speak. She signed photographs and serviettes amongst other things for anyone that wished for a signature.  She smiled and looked animated for her 1 and a half hour stay!!  Not a drop of water, tea or champagne passed her lips.  Neither indeed did any morsel of food!  She had photographs taken with anyone that wanted one and diva like at all.

Her range of Kylie At Home bedding is as pretty as she is.  Gorgeously embellished duvet covers in the softest faux silk and satin.  Beading, sparkles, crystals and sequins adorned both duvet covers and pillows, cushions and throws.  A glorious honey colour a warm white and many shades of stone and cream bedding could be seen on beds scattered around the room. What a magnificent array of bedding to launch Kylie’s second season of licensed bedding. She told us how specific her input was to the design of the bedding and she reveled in the commercial side of the launch and was extremely expectant on the sales of her Kylie bedding.  The complete range can be found on our website www.wallacesacks.com.

At around 7.30 as Kylie stepped out of the Grove we were all given a perfect goody bag, resplendent with pink cupcakes, pink balloons and a fabulous cushion from the Kylie range.

What better way to spend tea time!

X factor have been way way better this year from the casting or auditions, Boot camp and judges house nights to contestants for the live shows But there is wrong thing going on on the X Factor that they have looking for I Don’t no this 2 guy are still in the competition they dint have the so called “X-factor” Think twice UK hope you will find the right X-factor winner with the best talented finalist among them. But this two I never even liked them during the audition they are two trying hard winner!

Talented so why does sexuality matter?

X Factor low tactics from Judge Dannii

I haven’t been so outraged in a long time.

In response to a practically faultless performance by Danyl Johnson, all X-Factor judge Dannii Minogue could say was

“If the reports in the paper are anything to go by, maybe you didn’t need to change the gender reference in the song!”

Dannii refers to a story in which Danyl is discussed as bisexual!

Bearing in mind, this is a Saturday night family show, and Danyl is a Primary Teacher…who’s students are probably listening eagerly to what the judges say to him…why did Dannii find it appropriate to mention Danyl’s sexuality. There are a few other guys on the show who are gay but of course, none of them are as talented or eligable or fancyable as Danyl but she had to say something to put a little doubt in the ladies minds eh?

Personally I think it was ENTIRELY out of order of her to say that! It was inappropriate, it was desperate and it was INCREDIBLY ignorant of her!

I sincerely hope she apologises for that!

Move over Cher, Elton John, Bette Midler, Celine Dion and Toni Braxton, Kylie Minogue has just been offered a Las Vegas residency for her tour and she’s taking it happily. The North American tour has been going so well that it has caught the eye of the bigwigs over in Nevada. According to her sister Dannii, Kylie will finish her tour and then head for a series of shows in the Silver State.

Dannii tells the Daily Mirror newspaper, “The response from her shows in America have been phenomenal. They love her out there. She was nervous about going over for the first time, but it has gone better than she expected.

“She has now been asked to take the show back to Vegas and extend it as a residency over there. I’m so proud of her. Kylie’s show is perfect for Vegas, it’s so theatrical. She has loved performing out there.”

Does this means that we won’t be getting any new material from Kylie anytime soon?

Kylie had some technical difficulties in Chicago, so she just burst into an impromptu version of big drag queen favorite “Your Disco Needs You.”

Because I’m sure you all like to enjoy your sushi with a nice big bowl of ‘WTF!?’

This was a track Kylie recorded in the 1990’s with Towa Tei, a Japanese DJ.  It’s fucking bonkers, although she does look smoking in the bikini at the begining.  I’m sure the use of Kylie in a bubble bath was deliberate, as to confuse and distract the male viewer from just how random the premises of the video clip and song both are.

1. The song was written as an ode to FONT… (WTF!?)

and

2. For reasons that are still unknown, this ode to computer font somehow involves Kylie Minogue running around on the streets of Tokyo wearing a Kimono… (WTF!?).
