Greene King has reported a solid set of Q3 trading figures for the 36 weeks to 11 January against relatively strong comparatives. Retail sales were up by 2% over the Christmas period and are up 0.6% for the year to date although trading has been volatile, leading GKN CEO Rooney Anand to comment: ‘This performance was delivered in a continued challenging environment, as highlighted by the most recent Greene King Leisure Tracker, which reported an 8% year-on-year fall in household leisure spending in November.’ 323 more words
