Vegas is obviously known for their casinos, which I had a great time in quite a few of them, but I had just as much fun checking out some of the other things Vegas is known for. I didn’t have a clue what exactly before the trip happened, but thanks to About.com I had a little bit of guidance.

Mandalay Bay
The first (and only) thing that always pops into my mind about Mandalay Bay are the boxing matches that go on over there. I’m not much of a boxing fanatic, but I’ve become one with the greatness of Manny Pacquiao, a fellow Filipino man. It’s a beautiful casino from outside to inside.

We checked out the Shark Reef Aquarium inside, and it was a pretty neat experience. The main draw is the giant size aquarium that engulfs you, that is filled with many different types of fish and obviously, sharks. Although I would never do this, partly because i’d be scared as heck to do it, but for a giant rate you can actually gear up and swim inside with the sharks. No thanks, not that daring.

Minus 5

Also in Mandalay Bay is probably my favorite experience while out in Vegas. It’s such a different concept because a place this cold shouldn’t be out in the desert, but it was a sweet thing to check out. I wish I was able to to take pictures, but because it is literally below freezing in there we weren’t allowed to take in anything electronic inside the bar. But it was pretty awesome to be dressed up in a thick winter coat and given gloves upon entering. Everything is made up of ice carvings, from the walls to the bar and to the cups for your alcohol. The bartender was really awesome and encouraged us to dance to keep from freezing our buns off. To motivate us, she happily danced beside us. That was nice.

M&M’s World
4 floors of chocolaty goodness. The smell of chocolate emanates throughout the entire store which I’m sure just a quarter of the aroma comes from the giant size dispensers of single color M&M’s the store carries on the 2nd floor.

And with the calls of free samples on the top floor made it so much easier to cruise through and check out all the cool merchandise and models this place has.

One thing that I thought was the best was not so much the chocolate, but the orange M&M character. The way they drew him out and the type of personality that he must carry makes him to be a befuddled, confused and kinda worrisome. In some ways he reminds me of me…or just Butters from South Park.

However because our mailbox is square shaped it doesn’t fit on top. But we cleverly placed the light outside our front gate and it works perfect to brightly display our street address and provide added protection from intruders. The solar-powered light really glows in the dark. For a limited time the company is providing shipping and handling with each order. At $79.95, it’s perfect for anyone on your list who owns a home or a street side mailbox. Go to www.guidingmailbox.com

What a Doll! Every young girl will love this Our Generation Sydney Lee Ballet Doll from Battat, Inc.. Just in time for the holidays, the adorable ballerina comes with a storybook, accessories, two outfits, and everything a dancer needs. And it’s only $32.99 at www.Target.com. The company actually has 5 other new dolls for Christmas like Lily Anna, the Horseback Rider; Eva the Detective; Hally, the back-to-school doll, Mary Lynn, the Music Recital doll and Katelyn, the figure skater. For additional information check out www.battatco.com.

Cool computer Accessories– new essential for every computer user on your list. Got mine a couple of days ago and loving it. It’s FreeAgent Go portable drive from Seagate--a moveable feast of all of your data –easily and conveniently transported where ever you go. I’ve been using several flash drives to store docs, photos and important stuff. But now 500 GB provides a one-stop storage for everything, and I can take it with me and plug it into any other PC or laptop. FreeAgent comes in four cool colors (I love the ruby red) and sells for about $179 but I’ve seen a few deals when searching on the web or at www.seagate.com. They also make FreeAgents for MACs. It’s just one of the best presents you can give.

And more digital doos…One of the best perks of my annual Christmas gift guide is testing new products. And only putting those that pass muster on the site. Well, have I got a gift idea for just about anyone on your shopping list.

It’s the sparkling new Vivitar ViviCam T328 12.1 mega pixel HD Vivicam–a camcorder and digital camera in one. I wish it had one last month when I went to a family reunion armed with both a camcorder and camera, would have saved a lot of space in my carry on.

Anyhow I’ve been shooting with the Vivitar T328 and the videos and photos are clear and professional-looking. I like the large 2.4 ” viewing screen, the 8X digital zoom and the ease of use. A child can operate it. Best of all the suggested retail is just $120, a real bargain for what’s packed into one compact case. You do have to go out and buy an SD card though, I was disappointed to discover this, but used one from my other camera and it worked fine. www.vivitar.com. And Coby’s CAM3000..LL

I’ve been feeling down these last few days. My energy has taken a significant dip causing my busy mind to work overtime. Why is this happening? What does this mean? What should I do about it? Are just a few of the G-rated questions that I’m choosing to share with you now.

I’ve been recently trying a remedy that someone mentioned – 2 drops of Oregano essential oil in a tablespoon of organic coconut oil rubbed directly onto the lump. I saw a drastic change in the lump the next morning – but the results have diminished and I’m now deciding whether to continue with this remedy or not.

I’ve been wondering if I should return to the MMS that I was taking – another remedy that gave me instant results that not only tapered off in time, but left me feeling severely drained of energy in the process.

I’ve been eating a half-bunch of asparagus a day – my lazy version of an asparagus treatment that has been shared with me. I’ve also been drinking Taheebo (Pau D’Arco) tea on a daily basis as it is known for its anti-cancer properties.

In these moments of confusion and frustration, I allow the tears, fears, and worries to take over and then apply the Busting Loose process. The process leaves me with a deep sense of peace and an instinctive motivation of what to do next. Often, an unexpected source provides me with new knowledge or tools and because of the Busting Loose teachings, I know when to pursue a new venture and when not to – with no regrets.

I remind myself continually that it is the learning, the trying of new things, the meeting of new people, and always the loving support that I’m receiving through this journey, that is my cake. Should one of these fun adventures help my body to rid itself of cancer, it would just be the icing. And this is just one example of how I change what could be a horribly scary time into the most fun and exciting period of my life – so far……..

We waren noch Algerijnen, noch voetbalfans, noch nationalisten.

According to a report this week on The Mac Observer, Apple (s aapl) and AT&T (s att) have been presented with a class action lawsuit by a customer who accuses them of misleading the public by advertising the MMS capabilities of the iPhone 3GS despite not making those capabilities available in the U.S. when it launched.

(Yawn.) I’ll let you mull over whether the accusation is fair; the plaintiff, Francis Monticelli, says in the suit that “MMS functionality was one of the reasons people chose to buy or upgrade… it has [become] clear that AT&T’s network does not support MMS.”

TMO points out Apple made it quite clear MMS functionality would not be available in America at the launch of the iPhone 3GS. Surely you remember the hilarious (and embarrassing) murmur of amusement and derision from the audience at this year’s Worldwide Developer Conference when Scott Forstall introduced MMS? “29 of our carrier partners in 76 countries around the world will support MMS at the launch of iPhone OS 3.0,” Forstall announced, then, trying to keep a straight face, added, “In the United States, AT&T will be ready to support MMS later this summer.”

Still, that little fact hasn’t stopped Monticelli suing, though I’m sure he won’t get far. I’ll never quite understand the litigation-happy nature of some of my American cousins (here in England we prefer to send strongly-worded letters of complaint) but it got me thinking about the now-forgotten drama of iPhone MMS. I can’t help wondering — was it really such a big deal? I mean, now you’ve got it, do you ever use it? Would you truly miss it if it disappeared overnight?

When MMS first appeared via the iPhone OS 3.0 update I couldn’t wait to try it out. I took a photo of a bowl of apples (go figure) and sent it to a pal. “I have MMS!” I declared, proudly. “So?” he enquired, puzzled. (I forget sometimes not everyone is an iPhone user and therefore have always had MMS.) That was back in June, a good five months ago. It was the first — and last — iPhone MMS I ever sent.

Old Habits…

Color me conditioned by my experience with previous iPhone OS limitations, but if I want to send someone a photo I instinctively use the Mail app. I’m not alone, either — fellow iPhone owners never send me MMS messages but also choose to use Mail instead (I know because of all those “Sent from my iPhone” footers I keep seeing).

I’m trying to figure out when and how this habit started; it’s easy to say it’s the result of Apple’s decision not to support MMS functionality, but if I force my grey cells to work a little harder, and think back to those dark times before the iPhone, I don’t have any fond memories of MMS. Sure, I had the function on every one of my old phones, but I barely ever used it. So perhaps my aversion to MMS started then…

Either way, I don’t care for MMS. It’s a clunky old technology that never mattered to me. Not even my most geeky of friends ever bothered using it, with or without adding an iPhone into the equation.

Apple’s Chief of iPod/iPhone Marketing Greg Joswiak once said the iPhone originally didn’t include (amongst other things) MMS functionality because it wasn’t high on the list of features customers wanted from their mobile phones.

Naturally, there was an outcry. People were either ambivalent (they didn’t care or simply accepted email was an adequate alternative) or they were furious. Spend a little time picking through any of the popular Mac discussion boards from 2007 onward and you’ll find plenty of disgruntled punters lamenting Apple’s decision to not support the feature.

You know how, when a child isn’t playing with a toy, and you try to take the toy away, the child will instantly want it and make a scene if they don’t get it? It’s that peculiarly human tendency to want what we don’t have, or what is being taken (or withheld) from us. Well, I wonder, was the outcry over MMS the same thing? And now we have it, how many of us are actually using it?

If you’re in the States and didn’t jailbreak your iPhone, MMS is still fairly new to you and you might still be enjoying the novelty of finally getting it working. So, while MMS is fresh in your minds (and your iPhones) perhaps you can answer the question — where do we really stand with MMS?

Is it an indispensable tool Apple had no business keeping from us this long? Or should we reluctantly (and perhaps a little bashfully) admit it wasn’t worth all that fuss and noise — Apple was right not to make it a priority and, if we’re really truthfully honest, we never used it anyway…

Hiiiiiiii guys <3

How’s it going?

I guess I’m blogging now when I feel like it, and not on a regular basis. Life has just been too crazy lately.

We have that at home…don’t we?

When living in another country, you are often pushed into the numb reality of grocery shopping. What makes this a numb reality? At home, you know exactly what you like… you know what brands you trust, which products work well, and which cookies are just sweet/soft enough. However, when grocery shopping in another country, you are forced to make a lot of tough decisions. You have to learn your tastes all over again. I tried so deeply to avoid this on my first few trips to the supermarket. I brought along my friends in hopes that they would teach me their ways. My friends offered some great suggestions… because most of the things here are unfamiliar. Although unfamiliar, there are some products that are the same, but with a different name. Or, maybe they look just like what you have back home, but it doesn’t exactly taste like it. It’s odd to see…but it’s funny to realize how much you recognize logos, even when the names are changed. Here are just a few of the “imitation” buys in Argentina (on the left) and originals (on the right). *Note- I say “original” in the sense of well, assuming that all these products were made in the USA and then imported. I could be wrong. I can accept that:

Things are going well here… between the school, DJ classes and my various projects, I am staying sufficiently busy.

This country needs change… maybe not just politically, but I’m speaking currency wise. No one likes handing out coins. Coins are considered like gold here. The buses only accept coins, and since EVERYONE and their momma takes the bus, this is a problem.

DJ class is going well… I recorded stuff for my demo yesterday. It was the best recording I’ve done so far. But, yes, still needs work.

Teaching is also going well…with the exception of my class on Monday when two students kept repeatedly interrupting me. After more than enough fair warnings, I had to take action. The class was set to do a letter of approximately 150 words. Two students were incessantly interrupting and raised their word count from 150 to 170, then 190, then 220…ALL the way until 500 words. What part of “Do not talk” is difficult to understand? The letter, ironically enough, talks about younger people in contrast to older people…and if manners are lost in our modern society. The letter was decent…up until the very end. The last sentence reads: “I think this letter was a waste of my time”. My reply reads: “You talking in my class is a waste of everyone’s time. Be respectful, just as you mentioned in this letter.” pwnd.

Sybase 365 Marty Beard bullish on the mobility market, but not mobile advertising When I hear Sybase

Sybase 365 Marty Beard bullish on the mobility market, but not mobile advertising

When I hear Sybase, I naturally think large databases and perhaps analytics software but certainly not mobile messaging.

But as I learned last night, I was dead wrong: Sybase, through its mobile subsidiary Sybase 365 is the world’s largest inter-operator mobile messaging company.

This year, Sybase 365 expects to reach $200 million in revenues (up 14% from last year) or about 1/5 of the company overall revenues.

“We connect virtually all the 900+ mobile operators in the world and reach over 4 billion mobile phone users [out of 7 billion worldwide],” explains to me Sybase 365 President Marty Beard, speaking yesterday at TiE’s first entrepreneur week in Santa Clara, Calif.

For Beard, the closest competitors are Syniverse – which recently acquired Verisign’s mobile messaging business for $175 million in cash – and Ericsson IPX solution.

Mobile advertising has not lived up to its promise

By being at the centre of the world’s SMS and MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) traffic, Sybase 365 can spot early trends in mobile commerce around the globe including hot areas like mobile CRM, mobile banking and mobile money transfer. Surprisingly, mobile advertising is not one of them.

“Most of the mobile advertising business has been around messaging, sending SMS or MMS to consumers and not banners or even ads inside these messages. Pure advertising on mobility has just not lived up to its billing at this point,” adds Beard.

Sybase saw traffic surge after Apple enabled MMS on iPhone

Another new trend in the mobility market is the uptake of videos transferred on mobile networks using MMS. This is especially true since Apple added the MMS feature to its latest iPhone 3GS device. ”When Apple enabled MMS, the traffic spiked 600% and video is a huge part of that,” said Beard.

Follows are excerpts of our video interview with Beard at the TiE event. First on Sybase 365’s business:

And then on mobile advertising:

My quest to understand and appreciate the nature, behavior, and essence of structured water is ongoi

My quest to understand and appreciate the nature, behavior, and essence of structured water is ongoing. Feedback from new structured water experiencers continues to stream in, and it is no less than amazing. Water plays a grossly unappreciated role in the human health matrix. Our failure to examine water, and to come to a consensus as to what constitutes the optimal form of intake, has resulted in the adoption of a number of plausible sounding, but ineffective substitutes. Worse still, many have convinced themselves that consuming anything “wet” will satisfy our water requirements. This is so not so.

Mother Nature is the first and best source of structured water. Water is best consumed when it is mature, in season, like ripened fruit. As outlined in Living Energies: An Exposition of the Concepts Related to the Theories of Viktor Schauberger, by Callum Coats, mature water is the result of passage through what is known as a full hydrological cycle. When it is immature, it is hungry, sometimes aggressive, even angry like many an adolescent. It is needy, and if drank, will require mineral resources from the body, in order to be put into use.

We’ve intervened in so many of our processes, not only in the way water is processed, but in the chemicals that are routinely dumped into rivers and tributaries, and the chemicals used in water treatment. Thinking that it is an inert substance, water is treated with little regard, even though life could not exist without it.

In order to have human health, the water that we intake needs to be (1) sufficient, (2) balanced, (3) cleared of its memory, and (4) energy rich. In other words, it must be structured. Water intake is generally regarded as drinking, but a significant percentage of the water we consume is through the surface of the skin, via showers and baths.

The book, No More Secrets, No More Lies: a Handbook to Starseed Awakening, by Patricia Cori, contains some fascinating information on water, and its relationship to DNA.

Before we endeavor to describe the function of the ten dormant strands of your light-coded DNA and the process of their reactivation, we must give due thought and consideration to the consciousness of the water element within your bodies and its photo/phonic transmitting capacity.

Like the great waves in your oceans, your fluctuating body fluids affect your internal weather and climate–the body temperature, which regulates any number of functions determining the good health of your organism. Your water stores hydrate, cleanse and purify, oxygenate, enable complex chemical reactions, distribute nutrients, affect metabolic activity, detoxify, and play host to countless organisms… just as the great oceans of Gaia metabolize the abundant life within them.

The body water’s ultimate performance, however, is to serve as a highly conductive transmitting medium for the DNA, sending and receiving electromagnetic frequencies of sound and light that are constantly being communicated from the double helix highways to the cells, tissues, and organs of your bodies. Indeed, we read ninety percent of the water within you exists in relationship to the function of your DNA, primarily as a resonance factor for the communication of sound and light transmissions through the cells, between the cells, and everywhere in between.

From a metaphysical perspective, the water of your complex physical beings is the receptive element–the cosmic sea–upon which all etheric imprints of consciousness are stored and amplified, serving as a matrix upon which every conscious and subconscious thought is organized in resonant patterns that form the cosmometry of your persona. That persona, clearly, is the reflection of the greater whole, of which each of you is a unit of global and universal design.

Now the question arises regarding the consciousness of the waters within you, which (like your earthly seas) become polluted with dissonant thought patterns, invading acoustic and electromagnetic frequencies, toxic elements from your water and food supply, and every other aspect of discord that you create on the mental level and bring to manifestation in the realm of the physical. The essential water of your make-up reflects these disharmonies, and by nature of our discussion of the conductive properties of water, it is safe to deduce that these same disharmonies are then transmitted throughout the entire organism.

Similarly, water that has been raised to resonate at its highest levels of consciousness, enhanced by your intention, water that has been purified with sound and light before you introduce it into the body seas… water that has been thanked, loved, and appreciated will effectively communicate that higher dimensionality throughout the body.

I will share more from this book, but this is a good place to introduce the fourth installment of the Structured Water 111 video series.

So last night we hosted a handful of my daughter’s girlfriends and our immediate family to cel

So last night we hosted a handful of my daughter’s girlfriends and our immediate family to celebrate my daughter’s 10th birthday. Double digits! My daughter opted not to have cake, instead she wanted brownies and ice cream. If this were a few months ago, I would have said that brownies are my kryptonite. If I have learned anything from my therapist, it is that how I frame things, like using the word kryptonite, has a huge impact on how I look at certain foods. So I will correctly then say that brownies (especially homemade ones) are one of my favorite things on the planet. My daughter and I made two batches – one plain, and one using m&m’s to spell out “happy birthday” on the top.

Well, I was doing great serving it to the kids, barely had a taste of the moist, chewy good stuff. My husband ate a m&m brownie and told me it was really great. Thanks, honey! Ten minutes later he tells me the same thing. All good intentions of course, he was just praising the chef, I get that and appreciate it. (Although at the end of the night, after mentioning a third time how good the brownies were, he realized, being aware of my sickness, he should not have kept mentioning to me how good they were. Isn’t hindsight great?!?!?)

So where was I…. oh, so I was serving kids brownies and ice cream and I’m thinking - deep breath, you can do this, girl, but the need to eat some was starting to really grow. It soon got to the point where it was practical to combine the plain brownies with the m&m-covered brownies to make more room on the table, so I consolidated and took one pan (the ones that had the plain brownies in it) into the kitchen, to, well, quite frankly, eat the stuff left behind and then wash the pan.

Though there wasn’t a lot to eat, maybe a brownie’s worth of scrapings, I ate them down so fast. Instead of slowly enjoying every bite and savoring, I ate them quickly because I did not want someone to walk in and catch me scraping every last crumb of the left behinds from the baking pan *sigh*.

So when the party was wrapping up and I was bringing everything into the kitchen to clean up, etc, there sat front of me the 1/2 full pan of brownies that had both the plain and m&m’s. The m&m ones, which my husband raved about, were calling to me. Unfortunately, my sickness clouded my rational thinking and I answered the call. My husband was right, they were really good.

I ended up eating two of them and all told went over in a calories by a little bit, but not too terrible (thank goodness I ate a small dinner knowing that I could get in to trouble with the treats we baked). Once again though, dammit it, I inhaled them, instead of savoring them. On a good note, I am pleased to say that after eating the two I was able to put on the brakes and the brownie eating did not go any further.

There are still about a dozen or so sitting on my counter right now. They are not calling to me, but that can change at a moments notice. I will do my best to be strong.

When my Dad was nine years old, he would tell his mother he was spending the day with a friend, leav

When my Dad was nine years old, he would tell his mother he was spending the day with a friend, leave the house to ride the New York City subway all over the city and return after dark. His mother didn’t know where he was, or how to get a hold of him. After my sophmore year in college, I spent the better part of a summer travelling all over Europe, also without giving my parents any information about how to reach me if they needed to.

How times have changed. We now all have electronic tethers to our families, our businesses, and virtually anyone else who has our mobile phone numbers. We are always connected, at all times. Our mobile is always with us, wherever we go.

One aspect of mobile, which is getting increased notice, is the utility of being able to receive immediate SMS messages with important information at any location and at any juncture in our day. I remember calling into my parents every now and then from Europe, sometimes after waiting for an hour at a public international phone in a European city, for the sole purpose of making sure everything back home was OK. There was a certain discomfort in not being able to be reached in case of an emergency. Once I knew things were fine, I could go on with my trip emotionally unencumbered.

Now, we can be reached anytime, and virtually anywhere – and that has the potential to change our lives significantly for the better.

Dan Jones, the VP, Channel Development at Smart Reply, gave me a great example the other day of how the utility of ‘always with me, wherever I go’ is currently being used to our advantage. His firm is working with the Center for Disease Control to give Americans the latest up-to-date information on the swine flu via mobile. After texting HEALTH to 87000 and answering three quick demographic questions, I can receive H1N1 swine flu alerts and other related health info about three times per week. Since I gave my zip code, I would think they could also send me local swine flu info (like when and where the vaccine can be accessed in my community), as well. So far, since September 8, they have received over 12,000 registrants (70% from their website, 25% from the Smart Reply network, and 5% from other sources, including Facebook, MySpace and other social networking sites – the percentage from social networking certainly should be higher!) and the service is provided in English and Spanish. Interestingly, 43% of the subscribers to this text service are 35-54 years old.

There are so many uses for push alerts that improve the utility of our lives that it amazes me that this area has not been pursued more aggressively. Many of us have already used the airline flight status alerts on our mobile phones, but how many of us would sign up for push alerts to your mobile phone like these, if they were available?:

Traffic status alerts customized for our specific commute home

Police, fire, natural disaster and other up-to-the-minute safety alert info for our local area (that sure would have been useful in the Southern California fires last year!)

FDA recalls for food products purchased at local markets (through supermarket loyalty clubs, many have your phone number and which items you purchased in their database!)

Impending service call alerts from cable, phone, and utility companies (so you don’t have to wait at home for the duration of the dreaded four to eight hour window)

Push alerts to the mobile phone can even be helpful for more mundane daily utility items such as daily medication reminders and refill alerts, bill payment and membership renewal reminders and on the spot notification when a table is ready at a restaurant.

As parents and as marketers, we know the value of being able to reach others wherever they are, at any moment of the day. But as a consumer, I would like to get much more utility information pushed onto my phone to improve the quality of my life.

I’m glad the airlines figured out that aggressive promotion of this mobile utility would bolster the perception of their industry. And it’s good that government is getting more active about using the mobile phone to help us with dealing with the swine flu.

But I’m sure that there is, and there could be, much more.

What other really useful utility push SMS programs are currently available? And more importantly, who isn’t pushing the utility of our mobile phones, and should be?

A sea of M&Ms took off as the gun sounded. Someone had carefully organized them into neat rows by color and then with the pull of the trigger they were mixed back together as if someone had shoved the rows with their giant hands. They ran by me and stirred up mud and sweat along the way. Never have I heard a crowd cheer so loud for what appeared to be little running M&Ms.

I became one of them. Donned in my own orange tee shirt and my tiny blue shorts, I stood in the box that was once marked with a six and took my place on the white line with my identical M&M friends. The rain poured down upon us all, and when the smoke showed, we all melted together in the midst of the heavy rainfall. My M&M-y vision blurred as we ran up the slippery hill and then plummeted back down. Several of my M&M sisters slipped into the vast mud pit at the bottom, but more of them stayed upright and continued their quest to the finish line where warm clothes waited.

More sisters were left behind in the mud as we all fought through the cold, cold rain but there was nothing I could do. I wanted to stop and help them up so bad, but knew that that would only slow me down. And, we couldn’t have that at the biggest meet in the state.

Before I knew it, I had broken away from my other M&Ms and became a lone orange one. Ahead I could see a few of my orange sisters and knew I had to keep up with them. Slipping and sliding in the mud and dirtying my poor little M&M self, I ran around the field and into the finish with a new personal record and a placing I could be proud of. Just like that, I became the 24th M&M to cross and with that the 24th best runner in the state for Class C.

When I watched that first race of the day take off, to me, they resembled a whole bunch of M&Ms running around due to the different tee shirts colors according to the different sections. All day, I was nervous, but I couldn’t wait to become an M&M and show off the orange for Section 6. I couldn’t wait to represent my school, my section, my family and most importantly, myself. I was proud of my nineteen minutes and fifty-eight seconds spent as just another little orange M&M.

11/5 a/noon-I noticed upon activation it was required (by apple personnel devotee), Murray shuffled over to encourage salesman (Robby) to perform a boot on newly purchased 3 g s. This was necessary, evidently, that the “ATT Character Set” would initiate in a download enabling (thereafter) to actuate the attachment option with SMS and MMS texting. Same keys involved as taking a still off an i-movie via PRINT-screen; yet, to hold down on/off + home key down longer until it reboots. It seems like there is no option with the iphone to pop open the back cover and remove the battery and then replace it again like so often is the case with other cell phone models for a hard reboot (re-set); whereas, most do a soft boot by inserting stylus into a small pin hole.

Apple is typically a sealed deal when it comes to open design hardware; in fact, large warning was given at a “10/11-a/noon apple 3 gs class” to be very careful with the pokey tool in removing the SD card or was it the SIM CARD? (actually they prefer we defer to the techs to do this little operation very delicate procedure it was described as) or was it the SIM CARD that ejects? Does apple iphones even use sim cards? Please share and add further would be appreciated. Thank You!
