The soundtrack of my life is the not another song rather than a book that was written by one and only Clive Davis.

 Clive Davis is among the legendary in the music business in the world plays key roles in many of the now biggest name in the music industry such as, Barry Manilow, Santana, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, and our beloved RIP Whitney Houston just to name few artists that Clive have mentor throughout the years and continue to seek new raw talents in the music business.

 Clive Davis first mentions about his where he was born and raised from Brooklyn, New York and after his schooling from he decided to be a lawyer, but that did not end up so well. He went to another route and going into music business, had started his own record company called Arista record, within that company he has signed on to now the biggest artist name such as Barry Manilow and Whitney Houston, and created the most successful artists in the music industries for a while, after years Clive was at it again creating another record label called J Records in the year of 2000 and now as of today he serves as Chief creative officers for Sony Music. 

 He talks about the music industries a little in his talk sessions and every 3-4 years in music industries they needed to created another new label, artists, because he also mentions what is 3-4 years ago music is not going to be the same as 3-4 years later trends, music business and music trends are always changing and to be successful is to go with the flow and goes with the trendiest and current music scenes.  

Clive  talked a little about Whitney Houston before her death, how she was as an artist and in her person life before she became an artist. Clive also urges Whitney to stop smoking to make another record, which she did stop smoking for period of time for making a records. He also talked about hours before the Grammy in 2011 how he found out she passed away and was deeply sadden by it and was still in shocked about the news, so as the man he is and made the Grammy after party about remembered and horned of Great Whitney Houston and many of the artists and clients in the music industries stayed and pay respect to her after the Grammy celebrations. Clive quoted himself “ it’s about celebration of Life of Whitney not about her going so why not make this the best celebration of in memory of Whitney and celebrate what she has contributed to the world of great music and sounds for all of us to enjoy for many years to come.” 

 92Y had a hosted a special evening having the talk with Clive Davis many of his fans made it out in despite the cold snowy whether to see Clive Davis event talk, even with all the mishaps of the sounds trouble in the begging of the show, over all the show went very smoothly at one point Clive Davis played some of the oldies music from Tina Tuner, Santana, Alicia keys music demos before they became famous, everyone in the audience seems to enjoys it and bubbles their head from side to side, and had a great time at the talk with Clive Davis. It is definable an unforgettable evening and well time spends with the legends himself.

Mob Wives Chicago star Pia Rizza recently got word that someone was shopping around some nude pics of her.

She had sent them to her boyfriend while practicing her poses for Playboy and somehow they got in the wrong hands? (Ahem, the bf)

Rizza didn’t want someone else making money off of her nude pics so she leaked them onto the internet herself.

everyone keeps asking why she’s marrying someone incarcerated. um, hello people? the guy is the drug business. if there’s any get-rich-QUICK business, it’s drugs. as long as his drug profits can pay for her lifestyle, what does she care that he’s behind bars? i’m not saying she doesn’t genuinely like the guy, but my point is, incarceration is a mere inconvenience that any gold-digger will put up with.

“Everything I went through, I didn’t want to marry Italian,” Ramona explains. “If [I had] a boy, he could possibly be in the lifestyle.”

Sadly, Ramona’s marriage of 10 years turned out to bring its own hardships. The man she married was of Arab descent and ended with her struggling to get a divorce and fighting to get her kids out of the country of Jordan.

“The last time I was in Jordan was to get divorced,” she says. “I went there for two-and-a-half years.”

Ramona’s lies are too much, why she is saying that she went to Jordan to get a divorce? We were married in the states, she could’ve filed for divorce there if that was the case. She followed me to Jordan with the kids to live there, but when she got caught sleeping with 2 guys and we were married, of course she has to ask for divorce, and I left Jordan after 8 months when she got to Jordan, she was with the kids and 2 boyfriends at the same time, and no one stopped her from leaving. Ramona worked at a company called Contectco, it was ran by her husband Wail, also known as Wally…her dad, Gambino Capo Johnny Rizzo and Joe Watts were involved in this company/front…to make a long story short, she ran away with Wally after he ripped off Joe Watts…he gave her a good life for a few years and then couldn’t find anyone else to rob so the good life came to being broke…then she cheated on him (knowing Wally he cheated on her too) and he wanted her out of his life so he left Jordan…

He met Ramona when she was working for him as a secretary in NYC and during that time, he was married to another woman in Staten Island who he had two young children with. At the time her husband had some money and Ramona was cash hungry. Her father did not approve of this choice for her, rightfully so, but she didn’t care and married him anyway running off to live with him in Atlanta. Some five years ago her husband had money troubles so he moved back to the middle east and she followed him there with the kids. I was told that the house she was in was rented and they were defaulting in paying the landlord also I was told the furniture in the house was not paid for and her husband was scamming people left and right to pay for her kid’s school.

She didn’t live in mansions or palaces and she didn’t rub shoulders with royalty she was having some cash rich months from other peoples’ money that her husband took. He was taking money from other people to pay for her plastic surgeries and his own hair transplants. One guy said her husband scammed him for 15,000 dollars to have the doctor take off his wife’s big stomach. (what he meant was tummy tuck and so forth) At one point, her husband was having a lot of problems in Jordan because he was owing people money, so he left the country and Ramona stayed behind with the kids. He wanted his children to go back to the united states.

Many people have said to me that Ramona is responsible for the downfall of this man, because before she was married to him, he was straight in business married to a woman for ten years with no problems. I can’t vouch for that, I can only vouch that they were a money grubbing couple with no care in the world for anyone else. Ramona knew her husband was taking money from people who really needed it and she had no issue spending that money.

“Mob Wives” By Detox

Welcome back to “Mob Wives”!

This week Drita tells Renee all about her “new boyfriend,” and she gets very special, customized rims for her car. Big Ang invites Carla to her annual Christmas Party and lets her know that she will be inviting friends, family and ALL of her cast mates. After initial apprehension, Carla agrees to attend the party. Karen gets a call from Storm while she is out shopping with Love, and she and Storm agree to meet at a restaurant. She is not sure if this will be a business meeting or an actual date. Love tells Karen that she has been out of the dating game so long that she needs a piano to fall on her head in order to realize when a man is interested in her and actually asking her out on a date. Karen ends up having a “date” date (and not a business meeting) with Storm. Love reconnects with an “old flame” by telephone (and No, it is not the ex- from last week. This is a whole different one.). Ramona finally puts her engagement ring on her finger. She excitedly tells Karen her news about being engaged; however, she does not quite get the happy and supportive response she expected from Karen. Karen, instead, goes ballistic and tries to tell Ramona why she thinks Ramona is making a big mistake. The two of them get into a huge fight that seems to continue and roll over into a party held by one of Ramona’s friends. At the party, Ramona ends up announcing that she is engaged to her incarcerated fiancé. Renee is super-supportive and tells Ramona so. Big Ang is very skeptical and tells Ramona so. Karen again tries to impress upon Ramona that she is in denial and does not really know what she is getting her and her family into, but she eventually relents and reluctantly agrees to support Ramona marrying her fiancé. Big Ang receives some disappointing news about her Christmas Party.

O.K., Is everybody ready? Here we go!

Drita Tells Renee About Her New Boyfriend

Drita and Renee meet for lunch. Drita tells Renee that she has a “brand new boyfriend.” Renee’s eyes widen in surprise when she hears this (and so do mine). Drita continues and says, “His name is Lee, and we are in love and inseparable” and breaks into a smile showing all 65 of her teeth.

Renee visibly relaxes and grins back at Drita, looking very happy to hear about Drita and Lee working on their marriage and about Drita and Lee being so happy. She interviews that she thinks it is wonderful that Drita and Lee are trying to work it out. Drita interviews that she is a VERY proud person, and it is not easy for her to swallow her pride and forgive Lee for cheating on her and to take him back. She says, however, that she is glad that she is swallowing her pride and giving her marriage and family another chance because if, in the end, Lee screws up again, or the marriage simply does not work out, she will be able to take comfort in the fact that she did everything to make it work. And, because of that, she will have NO regrets if it does NOT work.

Drita then asks Renee about A.J. Renee says that A.J. is great, working and still with his girlfriend, Sydney.

Renee changes the subject and tells Drita that she finally got a chance to talk to her father about her addiction and her stint in rehab. She says that her father was very upset, and he is very concerned about whether or not she can remain sober. Renee confesses to Drita that she HAS felt like drinking and/or popping a pill since she has been back from rehab. She says that, in order to deal with the temptation, she has being doing her best to stay occupied and to stay out of “drama.”

Big Ang and Carla Catch Up At “The Drunken Monkey”

Carla stops by to visit Ang while she is working at “The Drunken Monkey.” She tells Big Ang that she recently met with Raquel and Joe, and she says that the meeting went well. Big Ang tells Carla that this is a good thing.

Carla then asks Big Ang if she started her Christmas shopping. Big Ang, the shopaholic, looks at Carla like she is crazy and says, “I finished my Christmas shopping 2 months ago.” Carla says she’s jealous and notes that she still has so much shopping left to do before the holiday.

Big Ang then tells Carla that, since they are on the subject of Christmas, she wants to invite Carla to a big Christmas Party she is having. Carla asks Big Ang who she is inviting, and Big Ang says “Everybody.” When Carla asks what “Everybody” means, Big Ang informs her that she will be inviting ALL of the cast mates as well as some of her other friends and some of her family members. Hearing this makes Carla look less enthused about Big Ang’s Christmas Party. She interviews that knowing that “everybody” will be at Ang’s party makes her “nervous.”

Carla tells Big Ang that she will go to the party for Ang’s sake, but it will be uncomfortable for her. Ang interviews that she feels bad that Carla is on the outs with so many of the girls.

Carla tells Ang that she now hears that Love also has a problem with her, but she could not care any less (Then why are you even bringing it up?). She interviews that she does not even know Love, but she’s heard Love has been going around talking about her (That’s funny. Love has heard the same thing about you.). She dismissively says, “I’m done with these girls and their drama!”

Carla informs Ang that she can be cordial with Renee if Renee is “normal” and does not “start” anything with her. She interviews that she should be o.k. at the party because she will at least have Big Ang and Drita there in her corner.

Big Ang tells Carla that Renee “seems like a different person” since she got out of rehab. Carla has a skeptical look on her face.

Did He Ask Me Out On A Date?

In a voice over shown as Karen and Love walk into a store, Karen says that because she is not a big cook, she loves prepared foods, and she has invited Love to go food shopping with her.

As Karen and Love walk through the store talking about all of the Italian items and tasting samples, they talk about how it was so hard for them to find good Italian food when they traveled to other states. Karen mentions that, when she first moved to Arizona, it was really hard, but it has gotten better. Love interviews that, at one time, Arizona became like “a little Staten Island” because many former mob members were sent there when they went into witness protection or followed other family members there. She surmises that this is probably why the Italian food offered in Arizona got better.

Speaking of Arizona, Karen tells Love that she has to go to Arizona and finish “that chapter” of her life. She explains that she has to have a long talk with Dave and get some things straight between them She says she has already bought her plane ticket. So, she is definitely going. Love listens supportively. She interviews that, if she were in Karen’s shoes, she’d probably “just MURDER Dave and bury his body,” but she “understands” why Karen can’t do that because they do have a daughter together. She explains that she’s not a Mom. She further explains that she might NOT murder Dave if she had a child with him even if she were in Karen’s shoes because that makes things more complicated (LOL. Love kills me. She talks so tough, and I really DO think she is. I think she exaggerates when she talks about “murdering” people, though. Then again, she claims to have stabbed people in her past, and none of her ex-boyfriends have come out to refute her story. So…who really knows? *Shrug*).

While they are walking through the aisles shopping, Karen receives a call from her business partner (and possible new love interest), “Storm” He asks her how she is and what she’s doing. She tells him. Love interviews that Karen looks “giddy like a little kid over this phone call. What’s going on?!”

Storm then asks Karen if she would like to get together. She says she would, and she asks him if he likes Italian food. He says he does. So, they agree to get together at an Italian restaurant. Love, who is continuing to watch Karen while she talks on the phone and to listen to Karen’s side of the conversation smiles excitedly for Karen. She interviews that she’s glad that Karen “might be getting some action!”

When Karen hangs up the phone, she tells Love about her conversation with Storm. Love is so excited that she smiles and claps her hands with glee. Karen seems less excited, and she tells Love that she is not sure if Storm asked her out on a “date” or a “business meeting.” She interviews that she is wondering, “Is this business or pleasure?”

Love asks Karen if she needs a piano to fall on her head for her to “get it.” She tells Karen that, in her opinion, Storm was definitely asking Karen out on “a date, NOT a business meeting” because it sounded like they were having a personal – not business – conversation on the phone just now.

Karen still looks unsure.

Lady Boss

Drita takes Big Ang with her to the shop where she is going to have new, customized rims placed on her car. Once they walk into the shop, Drita excitedly asks the guy behind the counter for her rims.

He brings them out to her, and Drita is thrilled with the way they turned out. They are nice and sparkly and very nice as far as rims go, I guess (I say “I guess,” because I really do not know all that much about rims. *Shrug*). The words “Lady Boss” are written in the middle of each rim (Now, I DO like THAT). Drita interviews that this is Lee’s nickname for her (I love that nickname. I wish someone would call ME that because that is what I often feel like.). The man tells Drita that there will be a short wait while he installs the rims on Drita’s vehicle. Drita is super-excited.

While they wait, Drita and Big Ang walk outside the shop so that Ang can have a cigarette and so that they can chat. Drita tells Big Ang that she wants to get Lee “all set up” because, when she first got with him, all she had were “a few sweat suits and some tennis shoes,” and Lee changed all that for her. She says that Lee gave her “the WORLD, and he did it because he WANTED to and not because I ASKED him to because I didn’t”. Drita interviews that she wants to return the favor.

Big Ang supportively tells Drita that she thinks Drita is doing the right thing by working on her family with Lee.

Drita informs Big Ang that she is going to buy Lee a car “because he really needs one,” and she is going to get herself a “new boob job so I can look good naked now.” She claims that her right breast looks wonky, and her implants need “a tune-up.”

Big Ang says, “So, you’re going to get a car, new boobs and PREGNANT!”. Drita looks at Ang with a look of horror and screams, “You KEEP saying that!! I don’t want to get pregnant right now because I am trying to start a business.” Big Ang tells Drita that she says it because this is honestly what she feels is going to happen (Big Ang could be right. Drita will probably finally have a little boy that she will either name “Lee D’Avanzo, Jr.” or “Lee D’Avanzo, II.” I personally prefer “Lee D’Avanzo, II” because that way they can nickname him “Deuce.” I know that sounds ghetto, and I wouldn’t personally do it, but I’d love it if Drita would — just because it’s kind of “gangsta” and fits in with their whole “Mob vibe.” “Deuce D’Avanzo.” I think it has a nice ring to it. Don’t you?).

As she takes another drag on her cigarette, Big Ang then asks Drita, “So, how’s the SEX life?!” Drita says, “There IS no sex life!” She explains that Lee is only allowed to work and then basically go straight back to the halfway house, where he is not allowed to have any visitors (But wait a minute, Drita? Earlier, when you had lunch with Renee, you said that Lee was your “new boyfriend” and that the two of you were now “inseparable.” How can you guys be “inseparable” if, based on what you are saying now, you guys hardly have any time together, particularly not enough time to have sex. I’m confused. Oh well.).

When Big Ang hears that Lee has a job, she asks Drita where. Drita tells her that one of Lee’s friends “hooked him up with a job at a funeral home.” Drita interviews that she thinks this is a good thing because “There’s no chance he can get in trouble for killing anybody there because they’re ALREADY DEAD!!” (That was funny, Drita.).

Big Ang advises Drita that she should go to Lee’s job and have sex with him there. Drita blushes and screams, “What is the MATTER with you??!!” to Big Ang (I notice that, despite how tough Drita is, she often blushes and clams up when it comes to the subject of her sex life. It’s cute.).

Big Ang continues playing “Mob Moll Dear Abby” and advises Drita to have sex with Lee in a car if she can. Drita blushes again and screams that they might be arrested for indecent exposure, and she does not want to risk that because Lee JUST got out of prison (for the 2nd time). Ang interviews that she thinks “Drita should have sex with Lee EVERYWHERE.” She then reminisces about the time she joined the “Mile-High Club” and had sex in an airplane bathroom. She grins and says that “It was very small and very COZY and very nice” as she bats her huge eyes and huge false eyelashes (Big Ang is SUCH a kick!! I love this woman).

The Quiet Storm

Karen walks into the restaurant to meet Storm for either a “date” or a “business meeting.” She’s still not sure. She interviews that she has not done “the date thing” in a very long time.

Storm is already at the table, and when Karen greets him, she explains that she lost her voice earlier that day (Her voice is definitely strained). Storm tells her it’s o.k. (At this point, I notice that Storm has one of those “deep, baritone, sexy, Barry-White-type” voices going on. This ALMOST makes up for his bottom row of teeth on which he is either wearing a grill or has installed several gold teeth, which I want to have ripped out and replaced immediately by the nearest dentist.).

Once Karen gets comfortable, she gets straight to the point and asks Storm if this is a business dinner or something else. Storm tells her that this is up to her. Karen interviews that she is attracted to Storm but nervous about the fact that they are also business partners and the problems mixing business and pleasure could possibly bring (Aww, Girl! This music business thing is not your MAIN gig. This show is. Also, aren’t you writing another book? What about that Spa you invested in last season? Do you still have that? Just go for it with ol’ “Stormy Weather.” If it does not work out, get a new business partner in the music industry or just call it a day on that particular side gig. I bet you if you got your “Baby Daddy” out of your house and installed PAYING renters in that bad boy, you’d be less stressed about finances. You’d also probably be less stressed because you’d be getting LAID. Just sayin’! And that is “Business Advice from Detox.” You can thank me later, Karen.).

Storm then tells Karen that he thinks that they can keep Business and Pleasure separate (Yeah…that’s what they all say). Karen just looks at him like she is mulling it over.

Karen then asks Storm if he is dating. He says that he is “playing the field like Derek Jeter” (You go, Boy! I like that line. Karen, this is a sign that if you start dating Storm, you also need to start dating other people until the both of you decide you want to only see each other and become monogamous. Don’t put all of your eggs in Storm’s basket when he is letting you know upfront that he IS seeing other women. I DO like the fact that he is upfront about it, though. Many other men would just LIE until they got into your underwear and only tell you the truth afterwards. “Wow! That was great! By the way….” And that is “Love Advice from Detox.” You can thank me later for that too, Karen.).

During this date, I see Karen undergo the same strange “transformation disease” that seems to have affected Drita this season: she magically turns into a damned “schoolgirl” while she is sitting at the table with Storm. Her outfit changes into a Catholic School uniform, and she magically has ribbons in her hair. All she would need is some braces, and her and Storm’s TEEFS (a.k.a. “teeth”) would kinda match. She’s all “giddy-like,” and it’s cute to see (It’s cute when these rough, tough “BROADS” show their softer, vulnerable, girlie-pink sides).

Storm then asks Karen how her daughter, Karina, is doing. She tells him that Karina is fine, and she asks him if he has any children. He tells her that he has a 7-year-old daughter (That’s do-able. I’m glad he does not have a gaggle of kids all over the damned place!). Karen interviews that she feels more relaxed now that they are both talking about their children. She says that Storm is a good guy for her because he is NOT in “the lifestyle,” and he has a legitimate business (I agree).

Engagement By Safety Deposit Box

Ramona interviews that she is finally going to pick up her engagement ring from a safety deposit box. She says she never thought she would get married again, but Joe (her jailed fiancé) “gets” her. She says that they both knew they would be together from the minute they reconnected and started talking again. Ramona says it was their “destiny.” (My eyes roll at this. He might be her destiny, but I guess I’m just too jaded to see it. Whatever you say, Ramona. If you LIKE it, I LOVE it!).

As she is driving to pick up her ring, Ramona calls Karen. Karen does not pick up. So, Ramona leaves a message asking Karen to come over because she has something she wants to discuss with her. Ramona interviews that she wants to tell Karen before anyone else does. She says she just does not want to hide her engagement anymore, and the one person she has REALLY wants to tell is Karen because she just knows that Karen “is going to be so happy” for her “because she knows everything I’ve been through.”

Guess What? I’m Engaged!

Guess What? You’re An Idiot!

Ramona is at her apartment admiring the engagement ring on her finger (I have to admit that it IS a VERY nice ring). Karen arrives and just walks in because Ramona’s door is unlocked (for some strange reason). She interviews that as she walked in, because of the message Ramona left her, she was thinking, “What the f*ck is going on??!!”

Ramona asks Karen to sit down with her in Ramona’s living room. Karen complies. Ramona then begins by telling Karen that Joe (Ramona’s fiancé, unbeknownst to Karen at this point) is re-applying for bail, and it looks like he might get it and be able to have a week “back home.”

Karen asks Ramona why he would only have a week if he is granted bail (I’m wondering the same thing. I know virtually nothing about Criminal Law. Basically, what I tell friends and family members who get into any type of criminal trouble and ask me to represent them is, “I know basically nothing about Criminal Law except what I remember from Law School years ago. You can take your chances with me if you want, but we might as well also start writing your APPEAL now because if I represent you, you are going to JAIL, Buddy!!” I figure it is better to be honest as opposed to acting like some know-it-all big-shot who sends a friend or a family member down the river when I knew in the first damned place that Criminal Law was not my area of expertise. Believe me when I tell you that there are plenty of OTHER lawyers who are not so honest and ethical. They will take your money; get up and act the fool in Court; and send you to the slammer without losing any sleep!).

Ramona explains that, if Joe is granted bail, one of the conditions required by the Federal Government is that he must pay to have an armed guard with him at all times. This costs between $5000-$8000 per week (What the EFF??!!). Ramona interviews that the Federal Government is “watching Joe very closely, and this is why they will require that he have an armed guard if he is granted bail.” (Again, what the EFF??!! O.K. I don’t know much about Criminal Law, but based on the little bit of criminal law I DO know and based on the fact that the Federal Government is requiring that this fool have and pay for an armed guard as a mandatory condition of his bail, it sounds like this “fiancé” is facing some SERIOUS charges that could mean he will be going away for a VERY long time if he does not beat them. Those are not exactly ideal “wedding” circumstances if you ask me. But, as the saying goes, “The heart wants what the heart wants.”).

Ramona then drops the bomb: she tells Karen that she and Joe want to get married during that week he is back home and out on bail. She looks to Karen excitedly and expectantly awaiting her positive response.

At first, Karen just sits there with no expression on her face like she is either in shock or has “zoned out.” She finally speaks and tells Ramona, “You’re buggin’!!” (In urban slang, “buggin’” can mean “acting ridiculous and crazy,” and I’m pretty sure Karen is using the term in this way). Karen interviews that she is in shock.

Karen then asks Ramona to back up and explain to her how in the hell this all happened. As Karen is speaking, I can see her temperature rising, and I can also hear her voice slowly rising too.

Ramona says, “When Joe was out, he bought a ring for me. He saved it with the intention of proposing to me, but he got arrested and put in jail before he could do that. He eventually asked me to marry him and told me to go and get my engagement ring in a safety deposit box where he had placed it.”

Karen asks Ramona how that made her feel. Ramona said that it was bittersweet because she was very happy that Joe proposed to her, but she was very sad that he did it while he was in jail.

Karen tells Ramona that she feels like Ramona is in denial about the fact that Joe could be going to prison for a very, very long time. Suddenly, Karen explodes and just goes off. She starts screaming a series of questions at Ramona: “Are you ready to be married to a man that might be in prison for years and years??!! Are you willing to make THAT type of serious commitment??!! Have you REALLY thought about what you are getting yourself and your family into??!!” All the while Karen is doing this, Ramona looks at her like she is bewildered, stunned and very, very hurt (I honestly see BOTH sides to this. I can totally understand Karen’s fear for and disappointment in Ramona that is coming out in a way that sounds like insensitive, judgmental RAGE. But I know that she is only reacting this way out of fear for Ramona because she loves her so much, and she personally knows what it is like to have a father and a man you love locked up in prison for years and years while you live your life in limbo basically waiting for him. On the other hand, I can also understand Ramona’s position and her feeling extremely hurt and eventually angry that her friend, who HAS loved and waited for a man in prison just like her Mother is STILL doing now when it comes to her own father, is not only NOT being supportive, she is also berating and judging her.).

Ramona tells Karen that she can’t believe that Karen is acting this way, and she cannot understand why Karen is not happy for her. Karen says, “Your fairytale became a f*ckin’ nightmare because the FEDS came and took away your Prince Charming!”

Ramona finally gets angry and screams, “This is why I didn’t invite you to my 1st wedding at City Hall!!” (What? Did Karen disapprove of Ramona marrying that man too? If so, WHY? I would love to know the back story on THAT one).

Karen tells Ramona that she feels like she is now her father talking to Ramona and Ramona is her back then. She explains that he father tried over and over to warn her about getting involved with Dave because of his criminal background and the likelihood that he would end up in prison while she waited for him and suffered for years. She tells Ramona that, in the end, her father turned out to be right because she was stubborn and did not listen and ended up “waiting 10 f*cking YEARS while Dave was in jail” (and Dave is now sleeping with another woman while living rent-free in HER damned house!! Just sayin’!).

Ramona tells Karen that her “whole attitude SUCKS!!” Karen interviews and says, “I am going to say it to your FACE! I am not going to act all happy and tell you one thing to your FACE and say something totally different behind your BACK!!” (I ALWAYS respect a person that deals with me in this way. Many other people, however, do NOT respect or appreciate this. In fact, they downright RESENT it and only want to hear what they want to hear.). Ramona interviews that telling Karen should have been a happy time for her, but Karen’s attitude ruined it.

Ramona again screams at Karen and says, “You think you’re a hot shot now because you got a music man boyfriend, and you’re no longer dating a JAILBIRD and you’re out of ‘the lifestyle’??!! Now that I am in the position that YOU were once in, you want to judge me and act like I’m a ‘Black Sheep’??!!”

Karen just ignores the questions and storms out of Ramona’s apartment (This is my first time seeing these 2 fight. It’s weird.).

Another Damned Ex- Pines Away For Love

Love is on her front porch playing with her cute little dog when she receives a phone call from ANOTHER ex-boyfriend (I think Love is telling the truth about her ex-boyfriends not being able to leave her alone even after the relationship is over). This particular ex-boyfriend’s name is “Fate” (I’m pretty sure that is not his REAL name – at least, I am hoping it’s not). She interviews that Fate is a very special person in her life. She again says that she does not know what it is, but she has never had an ex-boyfriend that totally stopped talking to her (This is even more remarkable when you consider the fact that she has tried to stab, actually stabbed and/or poisoned more than 1 of these ex-boyfriends).

Love tells Fate that it has been a couple of years since they saw each other last. He tells her that’s because she “ran away!” Love interviews that her Mother calls her “The Runaway Bride” (I would say that might be accurate considering she says she has been engaged 6 times). Fate then tells Love that “underneath that tough exterior, you’re a real sweetheart.” (I don’t know why I could always sense this about Love despite all of her crazy, tough talk, but I could. This guy is either proving me right, or he’s a big b*llsh*tter. Time will tell.). Love grins when he says this.

Love tells him that he is the ONLY person that she would commit to right now. He says he wants to believe her (He is another one who has a sexy voice! I wonder what he looks like.). Love interviews that Fate is in Las Vegas, and she is in New York City. She says she can’t imagine leaving New York right now, though.

Fate asks Love to send him some pictures. Love interviews and says that she and Fate love each other. They just can’t be together right now because of the distance between them.

Ramona Reveals Her Engagement To Others

Ramona is shown walking into a huge house and being greeted by a woman I have never seen before. It turns out that the woman’s name is Alisa Marie, and she is, not only a friend of Ramona’s, but also a designer of furs, leather handbags and jewelry (FYI: Alisa Marie is also a stylist who used to style Melissa Gorga until she and Melissa fell out for some reason. She supposedly cannot stand Melissa now, and they got into some type of nasty altercation at a party attended by Sherri Shepherd, who tweeted about it. Alisa was also, at one time, even being considered as a new housewife for RHONJ).

Alisa is having a huge party to show off her new line of furs, handbags, and jewelry. There are already lots of other women at this party. Ramona interviews that she invited “a bunch” of people to come to Alisa Marie’s house for the showing.

Big Ang and Karen arrive at the same time. It turns out that Renee is already at the party when Ramona arrives. Karen interviews that she has not talked to or seen Ramona since their argument over Ramona’s engagement. She says that she is sure things will be tense between Ramona and her at this party. Ramona interviews that she is still incredibly irritated and agitated with Karen over the things she said when Ramona announced her engagement to her.

A large group of women are gathered in the kitchen, and Renee suggests opening a bottle of champagne to toast to each other and the party “even though I can’t even drink it!” The other women heartily agree, and the champagne starts flowing.

Alisa Marie’s collection of furs, handbags and jewelry are briefly shown, and I see plenty of nice-looking items. Big Ang, the shopaholic, interviews that she “wants EVERYTHING!!”

At a certain point, Karen and Ramona end up near each other trying on furs. Karen says something (I wasn’t fast enough to catch what she said) snippy and antagonistic toward Ramona. Ramona responds in a similar fashion. She interviews that Karen is starting to do the same thing she has always done whenever they are in a fight: she “picks and picks and picks until we end up having a WAR! She’s been doing this since we were friends as children!”

Ramona ends up taking the fur off and moving into the kitchen to talk to the other guests. She walks up to Renee, who is having a conversation with one of the party guests. Ramona asks them what they are talking about. Renee says that they are discussing men and how she thinks women do too much for them. Renee continues her conversation with the woman and tells her how she stayed with an incarcerated man for years out of loyalty. Renee explains that she did it out of love for him and for her family, but if she had to do it all over again, she would put HERSELF first. If she did that, she does not think she would have stayed with him. Ramona’s eyes widen at this, and she looks a little perturbed (or in the words of Porsha, from RHOA, “perturd”).

Karen walks into the same room as Ramona, and they again make snippy comments toward each other. Renee is continuing her conversation about staying with an incarcerated man, and she says, “If you love YOURSELF, you deserve BETTER. You also need to think about what is really best for your FAMILY when it comes to making that type of decision.” Karen interviews that Renee must have a 6th sense because she cannot believe how ironic it is that Renee is talking about this subject considering Ramona’s situation. Ramona interviews and asks, “Did Karen tell Renee my news about my engagement??!!” She says that there will be a BIG problem if Karen did this.

Ramona then loudly speaks up and says that she feels like Renee’s conversation is being directed toward HER specifically. Renee looks shocked, and her eyes widen when Ramona says this. She tells Ramona that the conversation is not geared toward Ramona at ALL! She interviews and swears on her life that her conversation was NOT geared toward Ramona (She looks like she is telling the truth to me. I honestly think that Ramona is being paranoid and ultra-sensitive right now considering the nasty argument she and Karen got into over her decision and Karen’s disapproval of same). Karen yells, “It’s your conscience that is making you think Renee is talking about you!” Ramona looks extremely annoyed that Karen has yelled this out in front of the whole group.

Ramona yells and asks the entire group to be quiet because she has an announcement to make. She tells them that she was dating someone who got incarcerated, but they had decided to get married before he was jailed. And they are now engaged.

The entire group looks momentarily stunned, and then several women start congratulating Ramona. Renee interviews that she is happy for Ramona “because this is what she wanted. So, let’s celebrate!” Big Ang, on the other hand, interviews that she is “not sure this is such a good idea.”

Renee then loudly expresses her full support for Ramona. Karen loudly says that she feels like she is in “The Twilight Zone.” She interviews that she feels like these women will tell Ramona one thing to her face and say something else behind her back (Many of them probably WILL). Karen, continuing in a loud tone, says, “It’s not about a WEDDING!! She is in denial!” She then specifically addresses Ramona and says, “I don’t want to see you make a mistake. Do you WANT this kind of life?! My mother has not talked to my Dad for 3 months because he is back in the hole! Do you know what that’s like for her? Do you know what that’s like for his children?!”

Big Ang interviews that Ramona’s fiancé’ is facing “some SERIOUS charges.” She says that she does not think Ramona really realizes how serious these charges are and how much time he might really get.

Renee speaks loudly too, and she takes up for Ramona. She tells her that if this is what she REALLY wants to do, then she should do it, and she is happy for her. Ramona looks very happy to hear this.

Karen then loudly asks Ramona where her engagement ring is and why she is not even wearing it right now. Ramona looks supremely irritated and gives Karen a dirty look without answering her. Karen continues and tells Ramona that the fact that she is not wearing her ring is a sign that she subconsciously has doubts about everything (That’s an interesting theory. Karen could be right. Karen could be wrong. Who knows?).

Ramona and Karen then start screaming at each other so quickly and so loudly that I can’t even make out what they are saying. Ramona interviews that she cannot believe the way Karen is acting.

Ramona finally pulls her ring out from her purse, puts it on and displays it for the women at the party, who “Ooh and Aah” over it. Renee tells Ramona, “If you want to marry him, marry him!” Big Ang then immediately says, “Stay engaged and that’s it!” Ramona interviews that a person just can’t “shut off” love. Renee tells Ramona, “My best advice to you is if that you truly feel it in your heart and in your soul, do it.”

Eventually, the entire group, including Karen, raise their glasses and toast to Ramona’s engagement. Ramona looks very pleased and happy when they all do this. Karen interviews that, even though she totally disapproves of this whole wedding and what Ramona is doing, she has no choice but to support Ramona if this is what she is set on doing no matter what. She interviews and says, “I guess I’ll now be picking out a bridesmaid’s dress and helping Ramona pick her dress….but I WON’T be happy about it on the inside.” (I understand Karen’s feelings and position. I am glad she is putting her own personal feelings aside to support her longtime friend, though). Renee interviews and says, “Hold on to that ring real tight, Girl!! You might need to hock it one day!” (I know that’s right!).

Big Ang’s Christmas Party Is NOT Getting Off To A Good Start

Big Ang is at her house getting ready for the big Christmas Party she is having that evening. She receives a phone call from Renee. Without wasting any time, Renee just flat out tells Big Ang that she will NOT be going to her Christmas Party. Big Ang looks thoroughly disappointed and expresses her disappointment and displeasure to Renee.

Renee explains that, because she is focused on her recovery, she knows that she has to refrain from placing herself in situations that make her uncomfortable (Smart move, Renee. I am glad you are really focusing on your recovery). She tells Big Ang that Carla REALLY hurt her feelings with the things she said at Ang’s brunch, which was the last time she saw her.

Big Ang reminds Renee that she also said very hurtful things to Carla. Renee tells Big Ang that her calling Carla a “husband f*cker” (This part was bleeped out, but I read Renee’s lips) is NOT as bad as Carla calling her “a junkie” (Many people would disagree with that. I get it. I can see both sides. On the one hand, being called a husband f*cker is extremely offensive; however, it might not be as offensive if the person really IS a husband f*cker. This person might be totally upset that this information was said on CAMERA, however. So, I can see Carla being upset by that. By the same token, I can see Renee being upset by being called “a junkie” because it is a pejorative term that minimizes her disease and makes it seem like it is something that she just chose to do for fun and is able to stop at any minute just like that, without serious help and without serious effort, which is not the case.).

Renee tells Big Ang that she just does not know if she can go to Big Ang’s party “and NOT snap Carla’s neck!!” (Well, at least she’s honest). Big Ang finally gives up and says, “O.K. Well, we’ll try again in the future.”

Immediately after she hangs up with Renee, Big Ang receives a call from Love. She tells Ang that she won’t be able to make it to the party either because she is “sick as a dog” and has the flu. Big Ang again looks thoroughly disappointed. She interviews that she has been cooking all day, and she is disappointed. Love interviews that she really wanted to go to Big Ang’s party so she could finally meet with Carla face-to-face to figure out what is going on with her. She says, “Luckily, Carla is saved by the flu!” Big Ang interviews that, back in her day, if a person felt sick, they simply took a shot of whiskey and partied anyway (I actually believe her. Ya gotta love Big Ang! What a BROAD!).

Next Week:

Big Ang has her Christmas Party.

Karen and Drita both confront Carla about her behavior toward Renee at Ang’s brunch. Karen says she cannot believe the things she heard Carla told Renee, and she cannot believe what she heard about the way Carla acted. Surprisingly, Drita asks Carla, “Do you know what I would’ve f*ckin’ done to you if you would have pulled a knife on me??!! I would’ve shoved it down your f*ckin’ THROAT!!” Carla just looks at them without saying anything. She actually looks a little stunned.

Karen finally flies to Arizona and has her talk with Dave.

Renee takes Ang with her to a place to look at dogs because she wants “an attack dog.” The dogs look vicious, and both Big Ang and Renee look a little terrified.

Karen has a talk with her brother while she is in Arizona. He tells her that he thinks they “might be able to get Daddy out (of prison).” Karen responds, “We’ve gotta go to war.”

I’m writing this SOS because I have been so damn hectic this week! I miss posting juicy juice and poop that keeps you entertained. I’ve been wearing so many hats this week, I feel like the Queen of England! So let me tell you what’s really poppin’ over here…

1. I’m pitching a lot of television and monthly magazines for my client Karen Gravano, who’s book “Mob Daughter” came out in paper back in February.  This is a big freakin’ deal-in case you didn’t know. Not to mention, she’s already a New York Times best selling author! On a side note- I really like working with her. She’s smart, articulate, loyal and the big plus is….she pays on time! Now that’s a bonus!!! I need to get more clients like her, she’s a GEM!

2. I’m planning a big surprise party for my soon to be mother in law. The side bar on this skinny is…she, nor her son knows this just yet. Hehehehe and don’t tell him neither, lol! Well, the MIL 2B is a Pisces like me, in fact her birthday is the day before mine! Can you imagine, he’ll be marrying someone like his mother. Now, that’s a riot. Any hoot, I’ve had to prepare the menu, the decorations and everything in between, including creating the evite and emailing them out and keeping up with the Kardashians, I mean the RSVP’s.  The thing is, I don’t mind because she deserves it!

3. I’ve redecorated condo loft and spent his money whilst doing so! It’s so nice to spend others money, I must admit. I got rid of ALL of his furniture and started from scratch. This included the flat wear, glass wear, dishes, sofa, dining room tables, side board, television, entertainment stuff and more. This crib is so ready for me to continue to live here. I couldn’t bear another day with that yuck brown leather sofa. He trusted me and recommended I do interior decor on the side. What I want to know is, when would I have time for that? I wake up in the AM at 5:30 to prepare his breakfast, see him off to work, shower, nap, wake up to work, clean the home, go to work, do work, come home to cook dinner, clean up, take shower, talk shit and you can guess the rest B4 crashing! I’m tired thinking about it!!!

4. Proposing media deals with potential clients and pitching other clients as well. This is the fun stuff, I mean I love the art of proposing new ideas to assist in someone’s project.  You gotta figure, 1 out of 5 proposals will amount to a new client. Thing is, once a project is completed it’s on to the next client…unless the client understands that branding is 4ever!

So, there you have it! I’ve been do a whole lot and have not bad time to post something just for you.  Let’s start our love affair over next week. I miss u and wanna rekindle our relationship. Until then, have a fantabulous weekend and ki$$es & hug$

Angela “Big Ang” Raiola is known for her big lips and top heavy body. She doesn’t like drama and is the one who always breaks up arguments and fights throughout the show. Ang is the niece of Salvatore “Sally Dogs” Lombardi. Sally was the Captain of the Genovese family. He is now deceased. Although she was involved in that lifestyle she wanted to live a better life. Angela has a beautiful, newly-renovated home and “money-making” bar called the “Drunken Monkey”. She is married to Neil Murphy, who is thankfully not involved in any crime related activities.

Renee Graziano is known for her drama queen personality and also a recovering addict when it comes to alcohol and prescription drugs. She is the daughter of Anthony Graziano, who is an active “leader” in the Bonanno crime family. He is currently incarcerated. She has had a very rough life. Her father was incarcerated for many years and when he finally came home from prison the “Fed’s” caught him again. Renee’s husband, Hector Pagan Jr, also involved with her father’s lifestyle, wore a wire and cooperated with the Fed’s. Her father ended up getting sent back to prison and is currently awaiting his sentence. Even though Hector was caught distributing Marijuana, he was able to plea bargain with the Fed’s since he cooperated. I cannot imagine how heartbreaking it must be to live this kind of lifestyle. Just imagine, your father is put in jail because your “loving husband” cooperated. Now you have no father, because he is sent away again. You also no longer have a husband because he is a “rat” and “rats” are not allowed in the family.

Drita D’Avanzo is the tough cookie who would start a “brawl” or “go to war” with just about anyone. She is a make-up artist and is currently trying to open up her own makeup line. She is involved with this lifestyle through her husband Lee. He was in prison for many years because he was involved in several bank robbery convictions. Lee was finally released from jail and is in the “halfway house” during this years season three. Hopefully Lee will straighten up this time and be able to spend time with their two children, Aleeya and Gizelle.

Karen Gravano is known for talking “smack” about Drita and Carla. She is the daughter of Salvatore “Sammy the Bull” Gravano. Her father was a former boss in the Gambino crime family. Her father was known for killing many people and commiting a number of different crimes. She rose above the influence and decided she wanted to make something of her life. She took all that her father taught her and made it positive. She has a daughter named Karina with her ex-boyfriend, David Seabrook. Her daughter lives in Arizona with her father while Karen is in New York “creating an empire” for her young daughter.

Ramona Rizzo, better known as “Lucifer”, is the granddaughter of Benjamin “Lefty Guns” Ruggiero. Lefty Guns was played by a well known actor, Al Pacino, in the movie Donnie Brasco. He allegedly killed around 26 people. Ramona sadly does not have a relationship with her father because she married someone from another religion and race. Some “old style” Italian men do not want their “little girls” marrying anyone other than a nice Italian man. She was only married to her husband one year before they got divorced. Ramona thought that she would not be involved in any mobster lifestyle if she married someone that was not Italian. She later found out that she was wrong and he was involved in criminal activities in his home country, Jordan. Although, they were only married for one year she had 4 children with him.

Carla Facciolo is more of a lover than a fighter. She is the only woman on the show that doesn’t seem to like drama or fighting. Her father, Louis Facciolo, was involved in plenty of different crimes. Her uncle, Bruno Facciolo, was murdered years ago because of his involvement with the Lucchese crime family. She knew exactly what the mobster lifestyle was about as an early teenager. She did not want any part of this lifestyle. Therefore, she obtained a great job on Wall Street where she later met her husband, Joseph Ferragamo. Joe and Carla got married and had two fraternal twins together, a boy and a girl. Joe was originally a stockbrocker and made plenty of money to support his new family until he got too greedy. Joe was convicted of “stock fraud”. She raised these two children on her own with the help of her loving mother and father. Joe is now released from prison and is not back with Carla. In fact, he already found a girlfriend who lives with him in his new condo.

Lastly, Love Majewski, is the only person on the show that I would never want to mess with. This woman is known for stabbing her ex-boyfriends and trying to kill a bunch of her ex-fiances. No wonder why Love hasn’t found “true love” yet. Her ex-fiance, Ray Merolle, Jr. was known as the alledged leader of “The Untouchables” car-theft ring. She was also involved with another member of “The Untouchables”, Chris Paciello. She was an accomplice and was abused by Chris which is why she went back to Ray for protection. This caused a big problem considering they were working together. The well known movie ‘Gone in Sixty Seconds” starring Nicholas Cage was inspired from their criminal acts.

Kindness is something it’s not being talk enough about, no matter who you are or what you do as a job or life.

Everyone needs a boost every now and then! Even if means helping out the strangers or friends or family member once a while than so beat it.

Last week #kindness week has made my friends and I more appreciate what we have in life than those less fortunate.

A friend of my came up with the great idea of buying a box of pizza and take it to the busy street of Time Square/ NYC to make their day by giving them a slice of warm pizza during the cold winter day.

“ATRH: I have to ask about RHONY. Your departure from the show was one of the most shocking in the history of the Franchise. Why do you think Bravo made the decision to cut half the cast?

JZ: “I have no idea. I don’t know if it was the smartest thing they ever did, but I’m happy where I am in my life right now. The show definitely changed my life in different ways, but staying on it [the show] wasn’t a passion of mine anymore. Four years on a television show is four years more than anyone could ever hope for. Most shows come and go, so the fact that I was a part of one of the biggest shows on television today, was an honor. I’m so grateful for what it’s done for me and my family.

I feel like I had two great Seasons and a rocky third Season. I can relate to what Adrienne Maloof is going through on Beverly Hills. I feel like she and I have similar “characters,” but what did she really do wrong? She was a victim of somebody saying something about her and her family. It’s terrible watching what’s happening to her.

I think that coming back for another Season, wouldn’t have been the best decision for me. So I have to say, ‘We make plans and God laughs.’ So the fact that I was not asked back is what was meant for me, it was over, it was done. I had the best run of my life, and it wasn’t going to get better.””

Real Housewives of Vancouver Season 2 – Episode 3 by NoMoreDrama

We start with Jody and Mia the day after the drag party.  Mia is hungover.  Jody has no sympathy.  Then Jody gripes about Mary showing up, and Mia says she was so drunk she couldn’t tell if it was Mary or someone in drag.  Then Jody calls Mary mentally unstable.  Then they talk about Ronnie being the bartender and not drinking – and how shocking it was that she was getting other people drunk.  These two are amusing in an over the top – caricature sort of way.

Mary is in her kitchen and gets a call about the National Anthem.  She got the gig.  Then she asks about Robin and they sigh deeply, and say they are looking at other options.  Mary says she’s dumbfounded.  She asks if there is still a chance and the person if very vague.  Mary says it’s bittersweet and she needs to talk to Robin about it.

Amanda has been asked to do a Bikini Fashion show and she asks Ioulia to do it with her.  They go to the designer’s shop to pick (actually I think it’s a hotel room) to see what they might wear.  Amanda thinks everything looks great, but Ioulia is much pickier, but she eventually finds a few things she likes.  Amanda isn’t happy about how high maintenance Ioulia is, and how she didn’t get any attention.  Then they work on their runway walks.  They are in some sort of hotel room – the guy helping them is sitting on a bed.  Ioulia gets tons of advice because she’s never done this before, but she rocks it.  Amanda is tense and nervous and jealous and sucks.

Robin goes to meet Mary and can tell something is up.  Why does Mary have to tell her?  Robin is worried that Mary won’t sing, and she’ll have to do both National Anthems at the Grand Prix.  Mary breaks it Robin that she didn’t get the gig.  Robin jumps to the conclusion that Mary will do both anthems. She says she felt like a broken down mule.  Mary doesn’t say anything.  (This seems a little set up because there is no reason they couldn’t have called Robin directly.)

Jody has invited Amanda and Ronnie over to her home and serves them champagne without alcohol.  She explains that she’s feeding the hungry (1,000s of people) and making them cake.  Ronnie voices over that they’d probably prefer a sandwich.  But then she says that cake is good too and beggars can’t be choosers.  (Inappropriate comment 1 of the episode).  They are actually baking and Jody’s daugher is helping them.  Cute.  Amanda starts to complain about her bathing suit try-on drama with Ioulia.  Ronnie seems skeptical as Amanda is complaining.  Amanda says that Ioulia goes for things like “old rich husband equals Prada shoes.”

Ronnie says, “you’re a little bitch, aren’t you?”  (Good for you, Ronnie – right to her face.)   You can see Amanda’s reaction as she tries to figure out why her mean girl comments behind Ioulia’s back aren’t playing well with Ronnie.  She says she’s taken back and that Ronnie doesn’t know her.  She then calls Ronnie a bitch in her talking head.

Robin is upset that she wasn’t asked to sing, so she asks Ronnie over to gripe about it.  Ronnie has a lot of trouble getting up the stairs to her house – it’s really steep.  Ronnie starts dipping her finger in the olive oil on the table and smearing it all over herself (for dry skin).  Yuck.  After getting over her disgust, Robin explains that she is really upset because she didn’t think it was a real audition, she thought she was just sending in a sample – and it turns out that no one else auditioned but she still wasn’t picked.  She claims the audition tape was butchered through editing by Mary’s producer.  Ronnie thinks that Mary’s producer sabotaged her so that Mary would get the part and Robin wouldn’t.  (This doesn’t make sense because they both could do it together.)  Of course Ronnie immediately thinks Mary is behind this.  I think this must be fake drama because 1) Robin had the contacts with the show so why in the world would they even call Mary directly and 2) Robin doesn’t seem that upset.

Back to Amanda.  She’s heading to Ioulia’s to get an in-home spray tan.  I notice she’s sitting on a light-colored sofa and can’t help thinking about Adrienne Maloof.  Amanda confronts Ioulia about dominating the bathing suit choosing event.  Ioulia doesn’t see anything wrong with her behavior, but she’s mad about being confronted.  Now Ioulia says she’s not feeling the spray tan (because she’s pissed).  Amanda has to get naked in a tent on Ioulia’s patio and get spray tanned – with the cameras there.  Apparently she looks orange.  Amanda and spray tan lady aren’t happy about Ioulia saying she looks orange.  Amanda says Ioulia will be a pasty white Russian girl.

Robin and Mary listen to the tape (screen shot).

Now Mary has to get up Robin’s stairs in 10 inch heels.  Robin explains that she was humiliated and that she thinks that the producer sabotaged her.  Mary defends her producer.  Mary explains that he had lots of number one records and is a great producer, but she hasn’t heard the tape.  Robin plays the tape.  Mary listens to the tape and thinks the tape sounds great.  (It doesn’t sound that bad.)

Ioulia meets her stepsons for a drink.   They all get along great.  She’s more of a friend than a step mom, and they do shots together.  It’s actually great to see them get along.

It’s the day of the Bikini fashion show.  Amanda and Ioulia arrive and have an hour and are in hair and makeup.  Amanda is seething with jealousy because Ioulia is getting more attention.  Amanda calls Ioulia bossy.  Amanda’s boyfriend Kyle shows up.  They make out a little.  Ioulia comes over, introduces herself, and then asks him if he’ll be jealous of all the men oogling his girlfriend.  Awkward silence.  Then Ioulia goes and changes into Amanda’s bikini.  Now it’s getting funny.  Amada is just pissed.

Ronnie and Jody head to the fashion show.  They are cracking up together – until Jody decides to confront Ronnie about her attitude towards Amanda.  Ronnie says Amanda is a phony little bitch.  Then Ronnie says that she’s arranged for them ALL to have dinner together after the event.  Jody doesn’t want to have dinner with Mary.  Ronnie says Mary loves Jody (that’s a lie).  She voices over she’s just sick of them not getting along.  Jody agrees to the dinner – grudgingly.

Fashion show.  Amanda has found another great suit.  They’ve closed down a street for the show.  Mary shows up with Robin.  They meet Amanda’s boyfriend, and for a minute Mary thinks he’s single, and is a little disappointed to find out he’s taken.  Jody thinks Mary is disgusting for “flirting” with him as she makes small talk.  Jody spends her whole time smack talking Mary to anyone who will listen – which is pretty much no one at this point.

Ioulia is nervous and Amanda is like a cat that swallowed a canary.  Ioulia comes out.  She looks great but is awkward because she’s nervous.  Amanda is completely relaxed and rocks it.  Ioulia comes out again and is still stiff.  Amanda closes the show.

Dinner is after the show, and Amanda is pretending to play host.  The menu looks great but Robin wants a steak.  Amanda thanks them all for coming.  Then she immediately tells everyone that Ioulia stole her bathing suit.  Ioulia tells her not to call her out on stupid things, and then asks for some vodka shots.  Then Amanda asks how old Ioulia’s step kids are, and says that Ioulia’s husband has basically married his own child.  Ronnie steps in and says that’s not nice.

Amanda then snaps at Ronnie and says – are we supposed to play nice because last time we were together you called me a bitch.  All of a sudden it’s on.  Ronnie gets all quiet and lets Amanda go.  Jody is cackling.  Ronnie denies it (Amanda says dirty little bitch – Ronnie didn’t say dirty – symantics).  Ronnie voices over that Amanda has just pressed her “don’t f- with me button.”  She calls Amanda rude.  Mary and Robin are very quiet.  Now Ronnie says to Amanda – “you’re a little f-ing bitch”.

For a very brief moment they were all getting along (screen shot).

Amanda leaves and calls her boyfriend.  He tells her to stand up for herself.  Amanda goes back into the dinner.  Ronnie is still pissed.  Now Ronnie asks Jody what she thinks.  Jody says that Amanda is refreshing because she says what’s on the table.  Ronnie is pissed that Jody isn’t on her side.  Jody says she’s been a good friend, but if Ronnie doesn’t understand that then Jody can exit her friendship with Ronnie.  (I don’t blame her – Ronnie just dragged her into this.)  Mary can’t help herself at this point and lets out a disgusted sigh.  In her talking head she says she’s heard that before – promises, promises.  Jody says she thinks Mary is losing her mind.  Ronnie said she’s had enough and leaves.   Mary leaves as well.  Robin leaves too because she can’t handle the stress.  Ioulia wants to leave too but she’s too hungry (I like this girl).  So the lines seem to be drawn – Amanda and Jody versus the rest of them.  Maybe.

“Mob Wives”By Detox  Welcome back to “Mob Wives”!

This week was a very touching and emotional episode because it spent a large time focusing on the devastation and suffering in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. It was also uplifting because it showed people pulling together to help one another and to show true human kindness to and concern for their fellow man. My prayers go out to those who continue to deal with the aftermath of such a devastating storm. Keep your heads up, you guys!

Now, let’s get to that and to talking about these Mob Wives, shall we?

Hurricane Sandy’s Wrath

The show begins with scenes of the devastation and destruction wrought by Hurricane Sandy. Many homes and businesses are completely destroyed. A voiceover says that a quarter of a million people are now without power. Rescue Boats are shown picking people up. And, in many places, it basically looks like a war zone where a bomb was dropped.

The Cast Does Their Part To Help Those Affected

Drita And Her Daughters Organize Items To Donate

Drita and her daughters are at their house surrounded by piles of clothing and other items. Drita and Aleeyah are putting various things in garbage bags so that they can donate them to victims of the storm. Drita interviews that she and her daughters rode out the storm at her Mother’s house, and as she was driving back to her home, she had no idea whether she would even have a home left, as her home was located in an evacuation zone. She gets teary-eyed as she describes the massive damage she saw everywhere as she drove back to her home which was, luckily, still standing. She says she is so thankful to God because houses located only a couple of blocks away from hers were completely destroyed.

Drita tells her daughters that they need to appreciate everything that they have, and they need to do their best to give to others who are not as lucky as they are. The girls dutifully help Drita fill up the donation bags (Drita’s daughters are so well-behaved. I swear! Children like that make my ovaries hurt for 1 or 2 just like them. Then I think of the other little demon spawn children I have encountered throughout my life, and the feeling passes just like that! I am going to make my childless self a martini when I finish this blog and toast to my lack of a juvenile delinquent. *Shrug*).

Karen And Ramona Ride Around To View The Destruction And To Visit A Friend

Karen and Ramona are riding around Staten Island looking at all of the destruction. Karen interviews that she stayed with a friend in midtown Manhattan during the hurricane. Ramona says she stayed….somewhere (I forget. I apologize. I took a sip of my Diet Coke and missed what she said completely. The bottom line is that Ramona is still alive. So who cares where she stayed, right? *Shrug*).

Karen and Ramona stop and visit a friend of theirs who is outside of her completely destroyed home trying to clean up and make sense of the wreckage that used to be her house. As they walk through the house, their friend starts crying (and it makes me tear up a little too). Karen interviews that she is so happy that Karina was not there to witness all of this.

Ramona and Karen tell their friend that they are going to do everything in their power to help her. Karen offers her extra bedroom in her apartment to her friend and her family and says they are welcome to use it as long as possible. Their friend thanks them and starts crying again.

Love Shares Her Thoughts About The Storm

Love interviews that she lost her car in the storm, but she still feels grateful because so many people she knows lost so much more. She says it is really amazing how everyone is just pulling together. She also says that she cannot imagine how people are going to put everything back together, but “New Yorkers are survivors, and they WILL re-build.”

Drita And Her Daughters Drop Off Their Donations

Drita and her daughters drive to drop off their donations at a collection center. She interviews that she doesn’t even recognize the streets as she drives down them. She says she feels like she is driving and walking through a war zone.

Ramona Calls To Give Renee An Update

Ramona calls Renee at the rehab facility to check on her and to provide her with an update of the results of Hurricane Sandy. She tells Renee that there is mayhem and complete destruction everywhere. Renee says that she is not even watching the news because she is too emotional. She interviews that she is thankful that her family is o.k., but it breaks her heart that so many others are suffering.

Karen And Ramona Go Door-to-Door To Help And Donate

Karen and Ramona go door-to-door to help people with donations of cleaning supplies, clothing, food, etc. Ramona interviews that Staten Island, as a community, pulls together and takes care of each other.

Big Ang Cooks Up A Storm For Hurricane Sandy Victims

Big Ang is in her house cooking up enough food to feed an army. She takes a phone call from Renee while cooking. Renee tells Ang that she feels bad about not being able to help. Big Ang tells her to just focus on herself and to stop feeling bad about not being there because she will be home soon enough.

Renee then tells Big Ang that A.J. is flying down to visit with her and a counselor at the rehab facility. Ang interviews that she is very happy that A.J. is doing this.

Big Ang’s husband, Big Neil (I have given him the name “Big Neil” because the last episode made me realize how big he is. I also think it sounds good with “Big Ang”. “Big Neil and Big Ang sittin’ in a tree, K-I-S-S”…oh, hell, you guys know the rest!) helps Ang load up and deliver the mountain of food to a relief center.

Big Ang tells the relief workers that she cooked all morning, and she hopes everyone likes it. She interviews that Neil is back home helping her out, and “he’s doing a very good job.” (Yay for Neil and Ang! I don’t know why, but I root for Neil for some reason. Sure he’s lazy and a reformed alcoholic. But he’s got a good honest job as a garbage man; good city worker benefits; and he seems to love Big Ang. Other than the fact that he acts so stupid and clueless at times, I think he is just great!).

The relief center is filled with people, including children (and I admit that my eyes tear up at this. My eyes teared up more than once during this episode). There are sections of the center that are divided into donations of bottled water, canned goods, clothes, blankets, etc.

Big Ang interviews that she is grateful that nothing happened to her home and family during the storm, but this makes her even more motivated to help those who were not so lucky. She says that seeing these people is just heart wrenching. She also says that people just have to have faith that everything will come together.

Lee D’Avanzo, The OCD Dictator

Drita and Aleeyah are talking in Drita’s kitchen. Drita interviews that she and the girls are really excited about Lee coming home, but they must make sure that the house gets into “Lee-approved” shape. She says that Lee is a neat freak with OCD and calls him an “OCD Psycho!” (I believe in taking care of my man, but if my man was dumb enough to go to prison TWICE, leaving me to take care of our 2 young children all alone for YEARS, I’d DARE him to tell me anything about my house not being perfectly spotless!! Lee better recognize and appreciate Drita!).

Drita explains to Aleeyah that they must make sure everything is spotless and in its place before Lee arrives home or he will be very upset. She says that they are going to have to establish a daily routine of cleaning and organizing so that they will be in the habit of it when Lee returns home (What the EFF? I’m all for organization and cleanliness, but Lee sounds like a damned dictator! He’d just have to give me demerits because my smartass would just HAVE to respond, “Ummm….are you REALLY trying to argue with me about a towel on the counter when you’re a*s just got out of the joint for the 2nd damned time, Jackass??!! I really MUST be hearing things because I KNOW your ungrateful a*s is NOT serious right about now!!!” I would then be DIVORCED….and able to put a towel anywhere I damn well pleased. Maybe that’s why I’m still single. I MUST ponder this…but I won’t. *Shrug*).

Drita also tells Aleeyah that it is almost impossible to please Lee (O.K. I was really rooting for Drita and Lee to get back together and keep their family intact, but I do NOT like what I am hearing right now). She interviews that Lee is very unpredictable, and she never knows what is going to set his temper off (Is she married to Chris Brown or Lee D’Avanzo? Drita, I never would have mistaken you for Rihanna. I doubt that you would let Lee hit you because you’d probably whip HIS a*s, but….he sounds unstable and dysfunctional. I hope you guys have family and couples therapy sessions scheduled while you work things out).

Aleeyah asks Drita if her father was always a neat freak with a bad temper. Drita tells Aleeyah that Lee lost his father when he was 7 years old, and she thinks that this is where his bad temper originated. She explains that Lee’s father was killed by the FBI. She interviews that Lee’s “dark side” has a lot to do with the authorities killing his father. She also says that Lee being back home will definitely be an adjustment for her and their girls (I’m rooting for you Drita, but I am going to keep a SERIOUS eye on Lee because the things you have just said have me concerned. I’m saying this like I am going to meet Drita and Lee in real life. I’m so worried for Drita that I want that martini I mentioned earlier right now, but who knows WHAT the hell I would write on this blog if I had one at this point. So, I’ll wait.).

Love And The Ex-Boyfriend She Tried To Murder Discuss Reconciling

(Yes, I did just write this title, and it is TRUE)

Love is outside walking her ex-boyfriend Joey’s dog, Winston, when Joey calls her. She interviews that she and Joey were very young when they first became boyfriend and girlfriend and were off and on for several years. She also says that she has been engaged 6 times, and Joey was one of her fiancés. She notes that normal women get engaged “to the butcher, the baker, the candle stick maker, but not me. I was engaged to a car thief, a home invader, a robber and an attempted murderer.” (I think Love should try something new. After I finish this blog, I’m going to work on her E-Harmony Profile and sign her up for Match.com. I think it just might work for her. As long as she keeps a knife out of her hands, she should be good to go. I think I will work on it while I drink my martini. That should be FUN!).

Love continues her interview and says that no matter how much she terrorized the men in her life, they always come back around to try and get back together with her (Love probably has sex like a rock star. Crazy women are usually good in bed, or so I’ve been told….by my ex-boyfriends. *Shrug* I’m the good kind of crazy, though. No stabbing or attempted murder for me. I just curse you out, change the locks, put your sh*t out on the front lawn and act like you DIED….before we eventually become friends again, unless you did something so heinous that I never speak to you ever again IN LIFE!).

As Love is walking his dog and talking to Joey on her cell phone, he tries to talk Love into getting back together. Love reminds him that they kind of ended on a bad note, seeing as how she tried to stab him in front of his own mother and all (Oh, Love, stop being so difficult! Quit making a mountain out of a mole hill. What’s a little stabbing between true loves? Hell, Ozzy Osbourne literally tried to MURDER Sharon Osbourne; they made up after he got out of the slammer for trying to choke her to death; and they are living happily ever after. Lighten up, Love!). Joey still insists that they should try and get back together (I’m sure his Mom will be THRILLED).

Love interviews that she and Joey still cannot leave each other alone “no matter how much we hate each other.” She says that any time he seriously tried to leave her or get with anyone else, she’d yell, “F*ck you! You think I’m going to let you go so you can go and actually be HAPPY with some other b*tch??!! I’m going to stay with you and make you MISERABLE just the way you deserve!!” She laughs as she says this (Love and Joey sound like soul mates, or maybe I’m confusing soul mates with CELL mates. Love is completely dysfunctional and crazy when it comes to her romantic relationships and has absolutely no shame in admitting this. I wish she lived near me so we could have drinks and go shopping. I like her even though she is a bit of a lunatic! Good Times!).

Renee Craves A Xanax

Renee is sitting in her room at the rehab facility looking anxious. She interviews that she is suffering from severe anxiety about the hurricane and about being away from home, and her anxiety is causing her to have a serious craving for Xanax.

Because of her anxiety and craving, she decides to talk to one of the rehab counselors about how she is feeling. The counselor tells her that what she is going through is normal and that she is going to have to accept that there is a big difference between ADMITTING that she has a substance abuse problem and ACCEPTING it (I know what he said makes some kind of sense, but I’m not quite grasping exactly what it is yet. Maybe he means that she’s going to have to accept that she will have to battle her cravings and addiction every single day). Renee interviews that it will take her “a lifetime” to beat her pill addiction, but she will “because I’m a TOUGH bitch!!” (That’s the spirit, Renee).

Ramona Moves Into Her New Digs

Karen is helping Ramona move into her new apartment. Ramona interviews that she really wanted a smaller house because it is easier to keep up. She says that being a single Mom is hard especially because she gets nothing from her ex-husband.

Karen tells Ramona that she looks depressed, and she then tells her that she is proud of her (I’m confused. Is Karen proud of Ramona for being depressed or for moving into her new apartment?). Ramona interviews that it is “killing” her to keep her engagement to her boyfriend, Joe, a secret (Well, then why ARE you keeping this secret from one of your best friends, Ramona? Are you afraid she will judge you? Are you afraid she will tell someone else who will judge you? I don’t get it.). She says she is hoping that her boyfriend is able to get out of jail so that they can make the big announcement about their engagement to all of their family and friends together (Oh, so I guess that is why she is waiting on telling her friends).

Love And Drita Discuss Stabbing The Men They Love

(Yes, I did just write this title, and it is TRUE)

Love & Drita meet at a restaurant for dinner. Love tells Drita that her ex-fiancé’, Joey, wants to get back together, but she is unsure about getting back together with him “because we had a very bad breakup.” She then tells Drita that she stabbed Joey in his chest, and the knife broke in half. She also says that the situation was made even worse because she did not know that his mother was nearby to witness the whole thing. She interviews that it was “so embarrassing” (I’ll BET!).

Drita just looks at Love with both shock and a little amusement as Love tells this story. She tells Love that if she ever tried to stab Lee, he would shoot her. She interviews that, if she ever stabbed Lee, she would have to stab to kill because, if he lived, he would definitely kill her for trying to stab him (Ummm….that seems fair, I guess…).

Love then tells Drita that Joey and Lee actually know each other. She explains that they once had a fight where Lee hit Joey in the face with a baseball bat and broke it in half (I think these 2 couples would have a great time on a double date reminiscing about all those good times.). Drita interviews that Lee has “a notoriously bad temper” (Drita has certainly calmed down this season, but she did exhibit an extremely explosive temper in the past couple of seasons. She and Lee must have been an explosive couple together with those kinds of tempers).

A.J. Expresses His Feelings To Renee

A.J. has flown down to Miami to visit Renee at the rehab facility and participate in a counseling session with the help of a rehab counselor. During the session, Renee tells the counselor that she has a hard time making A.J. understand her disease (of addiction). A.J. interviews that he feels bad for his Mom, but he does not agree with her position on addiction. He does not think it is a disease. He thinks it is a choice. A.J. expresses these opinions to the counselor.

The counselor tells A.J. to tell Renee how he feels Renee’s substance abuse has impacted him. A.J. tells Renee that he feels like Renee’s substance abuse sometimes let him down because it did not allow her to be fully there for him. He also says that he has to worry about his Dad going to jail, his grandfather going to jail, and his Mom drinking and taking pills. He says that all of this has at times made him very depressed and made him want to just stay away from home at times. As A.J. is saying all of this, Renee is crying hysterically on his shoulder. She interviews that it “kills” her to hear A.J. say these things.

A.J. then tells Renee that she has to get clean for HERSELF and nobody else. He tells the counselor that, for years, Renee has put everybody ELSE before HERSELF, and he thinks this is part of her problem. He then tells Renee that she needs to love herself and put herself first (What a wise kid! A.J. is an old soul.). Renee cries and interviews that knowing that she hurt her child makes her “feel like a complete LOSER.”

A.J. then gives his Mom a big hug while she continues to sob hysterically. She tells him that she is sorry over and over again (and I sat in front of my television screen with tears rolling down my cheeks as I watched because I can be a crybaby when it comes to scenes like this. It was very moving and emotional. And I don’t even know these damned people!).

A.J. continues to hug Renee while she cries, and he tells her that he forgives her for everything (Oh good God, here come those damned waterworks for me again! My Mom walked in while I was watching this scene and taking notes and crying and asked me if I’d lost my “damned mind!” She’s very sensitive like that. “Why are you crying over some damned people on a damned t.v. show that you will never even meet??!! You’re being ridiculous! I made baked chicken for dinner. If you don’t like it then the hell with you because I’m not cooking another damned thing for the next couple of days!! Deal with it!” Then she walked out. My Mom is SUCH a pillar of warmth and sensitivity. I get her, though. Her telling me about the baked chicken means that she LOVES me. Sometimes love means saying that you made baked chicken for dinner, and you “ain’t cookin’ a damned thing else for the next 2 days and to hell with you if you don’t like it!!” I love you, Mom. And I forgive you for everything. *Sigh*).

The counselor says that Renee needs to remember this feeling the next time she even thinks of using again. He also tells Renee that A.J. has let down his walls to let her back in, and if she uses again, she will be “stomping on his heart.” (Damn, counselor! That’s deep.).

The Bronx Boys Show Love For Staten Island

Big Ang is at “The Drunken Monkey,” and it looks like she has turned it into a donation drop-off center for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. There are tons of donated items all over the bar. She interviews that she’s seeing so much good come out of the storm because everybody is just pulling together.

Big Ang tells the people in the bar that she wants to hold a fundraiser to help people affected by the storm. She interviews that she has 2 huge truck loads of donated items coming to “The Drunken Monkey” from “some very handsome men from the Bronx who want to help Staten Island out.” (She bats her big eyes and flutters her false lashes and gives a flirty smile with her big, luscious lips to the camera when she mentions these very handsome men. I LOVE Big Ang!! I’m just realizing that, when she bats her eyes and purses her lips like this, she looks like a real-live Italian version of the Muppet, Janice – only with dark hair, because Muppet Janice’s hair is blonde. Like I said, I LOVE Big Ang!).

The Bronx Boys arrive and, sure enough, they’ve got 2 huge 18-wheelers loaded with donated items that they start to unload after they each give Big Ang big hugs. Big Ang interviews and says, “See. Sometimes stuff falling off a truck can come in really handy.” She then CACKLES! Once they are finished unloading everything into “The Drunken Monkey,” the Bronx Boys tell Big Ang that “The Bronx has got Staten Island’s back!!”

Renee Graduates From Rehab

Renee, some of her fellow Rehab members and some Rehab counselors are all sitting in a circle in a meeting room at the rehab facility. Renee interviews that she has now reached the point where she is going to graduate from her rehab program, and some of her fellow patients and counselors are all sitting in a room with her to discuss her graduation. She admits that, during rehab, she was forced to accept and admit very difficult and painful things about herself.

Different members of the group stand up and say very kind words about Renee; about what she meant to them during their own rehab process; about what she showed them; about how they are going to miss her; and about how they wish her well in the future. Some of them even shed a few tears (including a couple of young guys). Renee interviews that seeing some of these young people in rehab dealing with addiction breaks her heart, and she cries as she says this. She also says that hearing the kind things these people have to say to and about her makes her feel happy and very strong. She also says that she hopes and prays that everybody makes it and remains clean and sober.

Renee then goes to her room and packs her bag to leave the facility. She interviews that she has mixed emotions about returning to Staten Island. She is nervous and scared because her recovery is “so new.” She is excited to get home. She is grateful that her friends and family survived Hurricane Sandy. And she is excited to prove herself to everyone (Good Luck and Godspeed, Renee!).

Drita Gets A Surprise House Guest

Big Ang and Carla go over to Drita’s house to visit. Drita interviews that she has huge news to share with them.

Once they are all settled on Drita’s couches, she tells them she was out running errands when her phone rang. She says that it was Aleeyah who called her and then the phone just hung up. Because she was so worried and did not know what was going on, she immediately turned around and flew back home to check on Aleeyah.

She says that she got to her front door, and it was opened by the one and only, infamous Lee D’Avanzo! (Carla and Big Ang look shocked, and Drita has a grin that shows all 65 of her teeth as she laughs excitedly and turns into a blushing schoolgirl all over again the way she does any time she mentions Lee’s name. I wonder if we will FINALLY see the infamous Lee D’Avanzo next week. I hope so. I’ve seen a couple of pictures, and in the pictures I saw, he was big, dark-haired, olive-skinned, had a huge cleft in his chin and hot. I have no idea what he looks like now, though. Hopefully, we will find out soon.).

Next Week:

Renee returns to Staten Island and gets together with Carla so they can do each other’s nails and braid each other’s hair and become B.F.F.’s again. This is a LIE!! In reality, Renee returns to Staten Island and meets with everyone EXCEPT for Carla somewhere to celebrate graduating from rehab.

Carla meets with Joe and Raquel to talk (and Carla looks like she would rather stick needles in her eyes).

Ramona tells Karen that Lee is back in town (and Karen gets an odd look on her face).

Love meets with Drita to discuss the fact that she hears that Carla is going around Staten Island calling her “fat and ugly.” Love tells Drita that “Carla weighs 12 pounds, and I’m goin’ to throw her through a f*ckin’ window!!”

Real Housewives of Atlanta Cast Blogs Blogged by HilDogAtl

Hi Ladies, I hope this week has treated you all well.  As it is no surprise at all, only three of our ladies blogged this week.  However, for the ones who did…wow, all I can say is they can definitely ramble on for pages about nothing at all.  In fact, Cynthia’s is nothing but a thank you letter of epic proportions.  Without further delay…

Kenya-

Kenya begins her blog stating that life is an evolution and that after her breast cancer scare she decided to shift her focus in life, she can only please herself.  SHOCKER!  She then goes on a rant about how her and Cynthia are such similar people and that after the apology in Anguilla (what did she say?  Apology?  No honey, that was not an apology, that was some sort of backhanded jab disguised as an apology) she had to take a step back and realize she got off on the wrong foot w/Cynthia and she caused some of it and so did Cynthia but that they were so similar that they could make amends and become cordial again. She now wanted to lend support to Cynthia because the pageant was such a great cause. And women should support one another and not be envious or jealous.  HUH? Ladies, I’m sorry, I would’ve quoted this but it really wasn’t worth it because it’s nonsense.  Nothing but nonsense.

So after her uplifting intro she goes on to give us her bio of growing up in the mean, crime filled streets of Detroit, the “ghetto” as she calls it and how her grandma did everything within her power for her to not become a statistic.  She received a flyer, entered the pageant and was so excited.  She eventually was 1^st runner up but it was her escape from reality.  That’s why pageant’s are so important to her because each person decides to enter for their own reasons.  Again…nonsense.

Ok, OMG..WOW…just wow.  This woman has spin control, damage control and every other control wrapped up in this blog.  It’s disturbing.  She begins this season as some awful villain and once the truth of her lies is revealed and her fake boyfriend drama, she tries to come off as Mother Teresa.  She has nerve in my eyes.  Maybe I have given her the bad wrap but she bugged me on episode one.  I can’t make this stuff up.  Maybe meds are needed (allegedly)

“We all have seen Honey Boo Boo and exploitative child pageants that seem to sexualize innocent little girls, but this clearly was not the case. Whether or not you agree with talent pageants or beauty pageants (or none at all), it is my sincere belief that ones of this nature empower young women to be courageous, outspoken, articulate, philanthropic, selfless, kind, and to promote leadership, to name just a few positive attributes.

Although many of you sent positive messages via Twitter and Facebook, there are still those who will thrive on negativism or resort to unwarranted personal attacks in an attempt to diminish the good we convey with this worldwide stage. We will continue to pray for you all that your perspective may change to acceptance and tolerance. Having said that, it was Cynthia’s night and she pulled it off. I’m grateful that she allowed me to be a part of it. Sure, there were a few stumbles and hiccups along the way, but I applaud her for her efforts. She crowned several amazing winners and everyone was very proud. Go, Cynthia!”

She then finishes her blog with letting us know it’s been 20 years this month that she was crowned the first black Miss USA & she knows she has opened doors for so many others and its very fulfilling.  She then has the nerve to P.S. us and tell us that Kandi’s dad is fine and she sees where she gets her looks from.  WTH?????

Cynthia-

She begins her blog saying she’s tardy to the party because she has been in NYC doing fashion week for several weeks and she is going to give us a quick recap.

“Is mixing friendship and business a good idea? Well, that depends on the friend, and how much history you have together. Although there are always exceptions to the rule, I believe that mixing business with friendship rarely works out. Business is business, and should never be personal. The Kenya and Phaedra Battle of the Butts is a perfect example. These girls seemed to have really hit it off when they first met and became friends. Unfortunately, because of a business deal gone bad, they have apparently broken all ties. It was really painful to watch Phaedra and Kenya’s friendship fall to pieces, and I would never want to go down that road with any of the ladies.

I am naturally a nice person and will give anyone the benefit of the doubt. I have often been accused of actually being “too nice.” I have to get out of the habit of jumping into relationships with new friends before I really get to know them. I have only myself to blame when things don’t work out, and I accept full responsibility. Maintaining relationships (old and new) mean more to me than doing business together. Good friends are hard to find!”

Yes, I do agree, it is very hard to mix business with pleasure but it was very apparent that this was just a story line for Cynthia and Porsha this year.  Sad to say but true.  Cynthia knew what she was getting into and it was just some camera time and she knew she had to bring a little drama.  She may be a nice woman but she has some really interesting ways of showing it at times.  And I also don’t believe that she accepted any responsibility, she threw this “pageant” together in a few weeks time.  These things take a lot longer than that.  She then goes on to say the pageant was a success and obviously there are kinks to work out but ultimately, the goal was to uplift and empower these young women.  Ok, dare I say how a pageant uplifts a woman?  I know nothing of the pageant world and please, I know I may receive backlash but I think that it objectifies women in so many ways.  You obviously have to be a fairly attractive, fit woman to enter these things…doesn’t this solidify the point that society is obsessed with appearances?  Just a little rant…I’m sorry, back to our regularly scheduled reviews…

Kandi-

Wow, poor Kandi got some sort of shade thrown her way the past few weeks due to her deciding on doing a gospel song.  That is really sad.  So many people claim to praise their God and yet are the ugliest souls.  Your God probably taught you not to judge but you still do.  I think anyone can be very religious and still very modern and open minded.

“This week’s episode was the cause of much controversy and debate for me. It all circled around the decision to do my gospel song Stay Prayed Up. I knew when I decided to do it that a lot of people would be shocked, since I often talk about sex, have an adult toy line (Bedroom Kandi), and host a sex and relationships internet show (Kandi Koated Nights). I knew that some people would give me the side eye, but I didn’t know that it would be to this extreme. When the episode prior to this one aired, which first showed me mentioning that I wanted to do a gospel song, I got so many angry tweets. Can you believe a woman actually tweeted me and said, “Bitch you can’t praise my God”? I was like wow… People always said that the worst things to debate or bring up are politics and religion. Well whoever made that statement knew exactly what they were talking about!

Thank God I don’t let things get to me. I’m a very open and honest person. I say what I want to say when I want to say it. If I feel like doing something, I do it. I felt that I wanted to do this song, so I did, and I’m glad I did. This song is my testimony. I’ve been through things in my life that would break some people down, but I push through it and I try not to wallow in my sorrows, because I have a daughter and I never want her to see me brake down. I pray every day. I’m not the poster child of what you might envision as a religious woman, and I know that, but I come from a religious family.”

I appreciate that Kandi did this song and while you may not like her voice, I think the message is quite simple and true.  She has been through so much in her life but she has not allowed adversity to stop her.  She has “shined bright like a diamond” through all of it and has not let fame or success get the best of her.

She then goes on to explain that we meet her father and he is a man of the cloth, being a Bishop in her church and that growing up the church was so strict and she was always the one who didn’t follow the norm.  Instead of actually “joining” the church, she simply attended because she didn’t want to stand in front of the church and lie about the life she was living.  She believed in God but she didn’t believe in that church’s rules.

Now this is straight sad and sick…this poor successful woman should not be having to deal with this.  But she does look at it on the bright side.

“There are a whole bunch of people just like me that can relate to the words of my song. It’s funny, because when my group Xscape first came out, my Grandma would say, “Don’t you wanna sing for the Lord, baby, instead of those worldly songs?” Well, here I am singing for the Lord, but I guess I’m too “worldly” for some people to accept it.  I love Twitter, but it is an open platform for people to slay you… But lucky for me, I have just as many people or more that show me love. This week I’ve heard the dumb and negative like, “How you gonna sell sex toys and sing gospel. Do you want us to play Stay Prayed Up while we vibrate on your dildo?” My answer to that is NO, DUMMY! I’ve also heard the positive like, “I cried when I heard your song. It’s helping me get through my day right now.” People have been having debates on blogs and on radio stations asking if it is OK for me to have an adult toy line and sing a gospel song. My friend laughed the other day and told me that she’s shocked there’s so much controversy about the song, but it’s good because so many people are talking about God and prayer.”

She then finishes her blog thanking Mr. Sapp for not judging her and telling her to let her haters be her motivators.  She then praises Cynthia’s pageant saying it was more grand than the tv could show and that she is proud she was able to accomplish such a great event on her first try.

Breakout start, Pia Rizza has been one of the most interesting and talked about since it has aired. I was able to catch up with her this week and find out more about her.

Pia Rizza’s main connections to the Mob is her father, Vincent Rizza. Vincent joined the Chicago police force in 1969 and he started running an illegal bookmarking business on the side.

Toward the end of 1974 Vincent Rizza had one of his “wire rooms” busted by Chicago police, this news put him on the radar of organized crime members in the area.

At this time mobsters Harry “The Hook” Aleman and Joseph Ferriola were attempting to organize illegal gambling in Chicago by forcing independent bookmakers to start paying “street taxes” or tributes. The emphasis of their crackdown was sports betting, and after his operation made headlines, Vincent Rizza was one of their first potential partners and told him he owned over $40,000 in street taxes.

Instead of paying Aleman, Vincent partnered up with him and started taxing other local bookmakers.

Vincent Rizza began ratting out other independent bookmakers to Aleman and Ferriola, and placed a call to Anthony Reitinger to inform him Aleman demanded he pay street tax on his $100,000 per month bookmaking operation.

Reitinger refused and a hit was called on him. Aleman said the hit would go down on Halloween so he could wear a mask without drawing unnecessary attention to himself. On Halloween night Vincent Rizza recalls watching a news report on Reitinger’s death and getting a phone call from Aleman telling him of the murder of Reitinger.

Vincent was arrested in 1982 on drug charges, sentenced to 15 years in prison.

Vincent Rizza later entered the witness protection program by telling a judge everything Aleman and his crew were up to to save his self. Aleman went to prison, where he died from complications stemming from lung cancer on May 15, 2010.

“Anybody that says this is a glamorous lifestyle, isn’t really in the lifestyle.” – Pia said.

 “I remember my dad coming to my house one night with bags and bags of toys, who knew where they came from, probably feel off a truck somewhere, I have no idea. That was one of the last times I actually saw him in the house the next time was in jail.” Pia stated.

Pia has struggled her entire life, living in the shadows of having a rat for a father. Understanding the street life is what makes Pia exceptional and the stand out of the cast on the Chicago Mob Wives. The mother of a teenage daughter, whom she absolutely adores, has finally discovered her love for reality TV. And now when she says she could careless what people think of her life, she really means it.

“I don’t speak with my father. I have no idea if he’s dead or alive. Honestly, it’s kind of sad.” – Pia confessed.

Between what her father did and Pia being an exotic dancer, she has gotten plenty of fights on the show between the girls. On the show, Pia has only gotten physical once with fellow cast member, Nora.

“I don’t speak with any of the girls from the Chicago cast, I only talk to [Producer] Jennifer Graziano.”- Pia stated.

Pia is working on her own reality show, which will in essence pick up where Chicago Mob Wives left off. The show will exhibit Pia’s career in modeling and her growing relationship with her daughter, Bella who also appeared on Chicago Mob Wives. She wants viewers to know that being a mother is most important in her life not being Vincent Rizza’s daughter. Pia’s main reason for doing the show was to use the earnings to send Bella to college.

Pia has had other many opportunities since Mob Wives aired. She’s made appearances with Jersey Shore cast member, Pauly DelVechio.

Pia Rizza is loving her new found fame and has faced many obstacles from her past. She watched her father being taken away to jail when she was only ten years old. Both her father and mother were very distance towards her. Her biggest challenge was to be a better mother to her daughter Bella. Pia is very close with Bella and says that the show has made them closer and find out more about each other.

Pia has now toned down the drama in her life and is shutting out all negativity and couldn’t be happier. She’s started modeling and is in the midst of a new reality tv show. The future is looking bright for Pia and we cannot wait for what she has in store for us.

If you haven’t seen Mob Wives then you don’t know what you are missing. I think the name explains what the show is about, but I’ll still spell it out for you.  Basically, the women on the show are related to people who were arrested or imprisoned for mafia related stuff.  

Let’s start with Big Ang.

In my opinion, she has a face only a mother can love, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?  Every time I see her on screen I think“This is what Darth Vader would sound like if he was a woman.”  Her voice…her laugh…her lips…those are the things reality show high ratings are made of. My favorite thing about her is she owns a bar called the Drunken Monkey, and I kid you not when I tell you I had wanted to own a drunk money before I saw the show.  If she wasn’t on the show I don’t know what she could do with her life, so let’s give her a round of applause for finding her calling on our TV screens.  

Here’s a quote I saw on some video that she was in: “They say grow old gracefully…I DON’T THINK SO!  *head moving side to side* NOT ME!”

You tell ‘em, Big Ang!  No one can make you do anything, so even if you said “They said recycle! *head moving side to side* NO WAY!  NOT ME!” I’d support you.

Let’s move on to Renee.

Would you want to tell this face you just hit her car?  I don’t know if you ever watched the WWE, but there was this “woman” wrestler called Chyna a few years ago.  They said she was a woman, but I had my doubts 98.5% of the time.  Renee reminds me of her.  Her face…her voice…her outbursts..it’s the stuff reality TV could only dream of having to boost their ratings. When she cries it looks like someone threw a gallon of lemon juice into her eyes.  I didn’t know a face could look like that when it cries.  My favorite thing about her is she was with a guy named “Junior.”  Yeah, this guy is trouble with a capital T, and he goes by the name “Junior.”

Here’s a quote from Renee on some video I saw:

Do you want to see that face screaming about how she’s going to rearrange the molecular composition of your body?  If she wanted to punch you like a pool of marshmallows, she can!  Don’t make her punch you like a stuffed animal that lost all its stuffing! 

Now you know why I would want these two ladies on my side in a fight.

However, my secret, shameful addiction is the genre of reality TV I enjoy: women behaving badly. I don’t know why but I cannot seem to get enough of women acting out and watching it being portrayed as some sort of reality…

My addiction started innocently enough. I saw one episode of Bad Girls Club and I was hooked – pretty ladies, all behaving outrageously. Every day was like a scene from “Spring Break for Strippers.” The thing is, I remember that the early seasons of The Bad Girls Club had a noble intention. The house guests were all young women that had come to realize that they “…needed to change” and they came to the Bad Girls House to “…work on themselves.” However, after probably season three, the ratings had morphed the show into a pseudo women’s prison in some exotic location, based in a previously gorgeous house that had been debased by lots of pink paint, neon, fun fur and tasteless furnishings. And it had to have a pool.

Every season at least one (or more) mattresses end up being tossed in the pool in an effort to make a girl leave the house. And each episode begins with two ladies as “besties” and always ends with them having a knockdown, drag out bitch fight. Still, I watch – this season the “bad girls” are in the ATL (that’s Atlanta for the uninformed…)

After the Bad Girls, I discovered the sirens of Jerseylicious. Olivia, Tracy and Alexa alternate between being best friends and worst enemies, all while sporting a seemingly radioactive, orange spray-tanned glow, especially Tracy. These ladies all work in the beauty business and, quite honestly, would be fired from any respectable salon after one day. I’m not saying that they are not talented beauty “peeps” but the shouting, the verbal altercations – the fashions! - any of these violations would get a “normal” person fired, or at least put on probation, immediately. I mean, whose reality is this anyway?

By season two of Jerseylicious, I was hooked – I needed even more more ladies with breast implants behaving badly, so I started scanning the program guide for more and more “reality” to feed my addiction. I got my next high from Mob Wives.

Renee, Carla, Karen and Drita (Dreeter, if you are from Longk Eyeluhnd) are all lovely ladies somehow connected to organized crime families, either by birth or marriage.  These high-spirited gals wait patiently for their men as they do prison time and apparently are all independently wealthy. With the possible exception of Karen, none of these ladies appear to work (Karen wrote a “tell-all” book and is partners in a salon). I like these ladies – they are kinda’ like Bad Girls 4.0, all grown-up with breast implants and Botox injections. They all cuss like sailors, every one of them. I’m not sure why but hearing beautiful women swear like seasoned seamen makes me giggle…

These ladies are all tough acts to follow – in the most literal sense – but I have recently discovered two new packs of wild women. The ladies of Big Rich Atlanta are fantastic. Sisters Harvin and Meyer? Perfection. And Big Rich Atlanta has a dancing preacher (female), an interior designer (married and divorced many times) and the wife of some obscure rap icon (who is he?) And, as if Harvin and Meyer weren’t enough, with cast members named Sharlinda, Kahidijiha and Ashlee, you KNOW this show is gonna’ be amazing! Big Rich Atlanta and Bad Girls Club ATL? I’m not sure why Atlanta is such a hotbed for reality TV right now, but “Thanks, ATL.”

Recently I have been reintroduced to the quartet of Gypsy Sisters. I have trouble keeping it all straight – how they are all related – but Mellie, Nettie, Kayla and Laura are pure TV ridiculousness! Gorgers, muskers and other characters make this show a must-see for me!

I know this confession probably makes me look bad but, hey, they say ownership and admission is the first step on the road to recovery. I just hope I don’t totally recover before I get to see Mellie’s hot pink and leopard wedding dress on Gypsy Sisters – or was that Tracy’s wedding dress on Jerseylicious?

O.M.G. – these episodes cannot air soon enough for me!!!

Hi Lynn-lebrities!

I haven’t been on this in so long, what a brilliant blog! It looks fantastic. Lynn would be SO excited & happy you guys are still together, still talking about those crazy housewives, all things Bravo, as well as life.

(Personally, I wish Million Dollar Decorators could play in my house on a loop.)

So I’m saying hi to y’all, and check in. Someone yesterday told me I should post you guys about The Shorty Awards, and I thought it was a brilliant idea!

The Shorty awards are like the oscars for twitter (???), and all I know is it would bring great exposure to GUTS, which just came out in paperback.

This is NOT about selling books. I was paid a year ago, and that’s all the money I will ever see from GUTS.

This is about it reaching the people who need it.

They still won’t carry the book in Kmart, Walmart, or any airport bookstore.

I even redesigned the cover so it didn’t have a cigarette!

So that leaves me with only one possible conclusion….they don’t want GUTS because of the subject matter. (Which is addiction. Though I personally think the book’s about a lot more than that…)

But winning a Shorty would help SO much!

Real Housewives of Vancouver – Season 2 Episode 2 –  Drag Queens and Drama Queens by NoMoreDrama

We start this week’s episode with Robin – the Texan transplant.  Robin has taken to sweetheart Mary, and invited her to lunch.  They start off the lunch gossiping about Jody and her store.  Mary bites her tongue.  Good for her.  Robin then tells Mary she’s going to audition to be the singer for the National Anthem for a show jumping event – the Grand Prix.  Apparently she can’t sing.  Robin is going to audition to sing the US National Anthem – and asks Mary to audition to sing the Canadian National Anthem.  Mary is a little miffed about the audition part, since she’s actually a singer.

Kambucha tea.  She brews it at home.  Jody explains that Kambucha doesn’t taste very nice (I’ll agree).  She explains it as citrusy with a slight hint of vinegar.  She tells Amanda that her tea is delicious.  Now Amanda shows Jody a bowl with a placenta.  Apparently it is used in making the tea.  I’d have wanted to know that before I tasted it.  Then they gossip about Iouia – and say they are suspicious about her.

Now we have a scene with Ioulia and her husband.  Ioulia tells us that her step kids are coming over (they are old enough to drink) and she will be making breakfast.  Her husband is scared.  He doesn’t need to be scared because she goes downstairs to a restaurant and buys some amazing waffles and coffee.  Her husband tells her he’s taking off to London and Australia and will be gone for three weeks.  She says that’s the first she’s heard about it, but doesn’t care because she wants some time to herself.

Amanda has a Seattle-based boyfriend.  They met in treatment.  She presents him with clothes – which is strange because things are much more expensive in Vancouver than Seattle.  He starts to change – we get a close up of his nipple rings.  She dresses him in bright shirts and wants him to wear a sweater vest.  He says he feels like a very large peacock and then sweeps her off to the bedroom.  Never mind the cameras.

Robin meets Ronnie at the Carrington shop.  It’s a tuck shop full of horse things.  I wonder if Robin has more horses than Yolanda.  Ronnie gossips about the Jody and Mary drama from last year.  She says that Mary wanting Ronnie to have her back against Jody’s attacks last year was very high school.  She can be friends with everyone.  Ronnie then explains that she and Mary have had rough spots, and she’s very forgiving, but she doesn’t forget.  Why do people always say that?  That really means they don’t forgive.  Robin tells Ronnie about the National Anthem, and Ronnie is bummed that Robin and Mary are going to record together.  How high school of her to be jealous that Robin and Mary are getting along?

Back to Amanda.  Amanda and Mia (Jody’s daughter) are friends and used to party together until Amanda stopped drinking.  They talk about a drag party (related to the Gay Pride Parade) Jody has invited them to.  Amanda’s daughter asks what a drag party is.  Mia explains it’s when men like to look just as fabulous as women, and Amanda’s daughter is very confused.  Then Mia interviews that she loves her gays, and calls herself “Queen F*g Hag”.  Ugh.

Now Amanda takes the change to slam Robin.  She explains that she was in Jody’s store, and Jody had set aside a green sequined dress for her.  Robin told her not to try on the dress because she was wearing the same one and Amanda shouldn’t copy her.  Amanda thinks that Robin was mean to say that – which I don’t understand.  Why wouldn’t she warn her and why did Amanda buy the dress?

Robin and Mary head to the studio to lay down their audition tracks for the Grand Prix.  After establishing that Robin has no training, Mary goes first.  Mary knocks it out of the park.  Robin is channeling Kim Zolciak.  Both Mary and Robin explain that the US National Anthem is really difficult to sing.  Mary’s dog starts to whine as Robin misses the high notes.  But in the end it turns out Robin can sing.  I didn’t see that coming.

Amanda meets Ioulia for coffee.  Amanda didn’t think she’d like Ioulia, but Ioulia is so sweet she turns it around.  Within minutes Amanda is talking about being an alcoholic, and having a friend who just killed herself, and bawling.  Ioulia is very comforting.  They’ve bonded.

Amanda and Ioulia head over to Ronnie’s for pedicures.  Ronnie is glad she doesn’t have to hang out with Jody and Mary.  Ioulia explains that she’s been hanging out with Mary and Ronnie uses it as an opportunity to talk smack about Mary’s finances.  Robin’s name comes up and Amanda takes the opportunity to slam her.  She tells Ronnie about Robin’s comments that you have to be strong and just stop drinking, and how it offended her.  Amanda and Ronnie talk about their  problems with alcohol, although Ronnie says she’s not an alcoholic – she just doesn’t have an off switch when it comes to drinking.  She hates the label.  She says it’s like calling a midget a midget instead of a small person.  Second totally inappropriate comment of the show. Oh goodness, Amanda has brought over the Kambucha and Ronnie pretends it’s good, but tells us it tastes awful.  Ioulia says she’d rather hang out with Mary and drink.

Now Robin is with her mother explaining that she’s going to a drag queen party.  They both claim they have lots of gay friends, but they seem uncomfortable with the whole idea.  Robin shows her a black sparkly dress that she bought at Jody’s boutique (the same one Amanda has in blue) and tells her mom she’s going to wear it.  Can we say set up drama!

Jody is wearing a “good witch” costume to her party.  It takes two hours to cinch her in.  They get a drive in a hot pink limo.  Mia is just wearing a tank top.  Amanda is wearing her blue sparkly dress.  Mary is also invited by a friend.  Ronnie and Robin ride together – with Robin wearing her sparkly dress.  Ronnie isn’t drinking but she is bartending.  Mia is hiding under her mom’s dress.  ??  Ioulia is there as well.

All of a sudden someone notices that Mary is at the party and runs to tell Jody.  Mary claims that she didn’t know it was Jody’s party and that the owner of the club asked her to come.  Jody asks Mary why she is there.  Mary says she was invited.  Jody asks who invited her.  Then Mary says that it actually isn’t Jody’s party – that she’s having a little party in the back of the club.  Jody says Mary is mentally unstable.  No one knows who to believe so they carry on.

Okay – the dress thing was a red herring.  Everyone is wearing sparkly dresses, and Robin’s is a one-shoulder black dress while Amanda’s is blue and cut completely differently.  Everyone is having a great time so Amanda decides to confront Robin or “set her straight”.  Robin starts going off about alcoholics and how they should have enough self control to put their drinks down.  Finally Amanda gets her to STFU by telling her that she is an alcoholic.  Robin interviews that when she thinks of alcoholics she doesn’t think of people like Amanda – alcoholics reek of alcohol and have red faces.  Inappropriate comment three.  Robin finally seems to understand how offensive her words are.  Ya think?  She apologizes to Amanda.

Amanda voices over that she said she wasn’t going to make a scene – and she didn’t – YET.

BRAVO – why aren’t you getting the rights to air this show in the US????

“Mob Wives” By Detox

Welcome back to “Mob Wives”!

This week, we see several things happen. Ramona and Drita kiss and make up. Renee acts like a bull-in-a-china-shop while in rehab. Neil does his best to get out of the doghouse and back into Big Ang’s house. Karen tries to sweeten the pot in the hopes that her daughter, Karina, will change her mind about moving to Staten Island to live with Karen. Joe finally asks Carla for a divorce. Neil breaks up a Senior Citizens’ brawl at “The Drunken Monkey.” Ramona throws a joint birthday party for 2 of her daughters. Karen makes use of her new investment in a music studio. Ramona reveals a surprise. And the women prepare to face Hurricane Sandy.

Let’s get started, shall we?

It Looks Like Another Sit-Down Is Coming Up

The episode starts off with an interview clip of Ramona. She says that her children have had a really rough year because their father dropped out of their life, and her boyfriend, to whom her children are very close, went to jail. In an effort to lift her family’s spirits, she wants to throw 2 of her daughters an extravagant joint birthday party. Her daughters Melina and Anissa are only 1 year and 4 months apart. Melina is turning 12, and Anissa is turning 13. However, there is a catch: Ramona’s daughter Melina wants to invite Drita’s daughter, Aleeyah, to the party. This, of course, puts Ramona in an awkward position because there is no love lost between her and Drita.

Ramona arrives at a clothing store to meet up with Big Ang and Karen. While there, Ramona tells Big Ang and Karen about the fact that Melina wants to invite Drita’s daughter to her birthday party. Big Ang looks excited about this. Karen, on the other hand, looks skeptical. She interviews that the last time she, Ramona and Drita were together at a party, Drita ended up with a black eye, and Ramona ended up with a fat lip. She sarcastically says, “So, let’s all get together at a KIDS’ party! This should be FUN!!”

Ramona interviews that she does not want to hang out with Drita, but because her daughter really wants Drita’s daughter at her party, she is going to bite the bullet and do what she needs to do to see if she can make her daughter’s wish come true (That’s a good “Mommy move,” Ramona!).

Renee’s Rehab Version of “How To Win Friends”

Renee is still in rehab, and she is participating in another support group session. The support group leader tells the group that they are going to discuss the topic of anger. She tells the group that addicts often do not know any other emotion but anger.

Renee participates, and she says that she has a hard time forgiving people. She also admits that she flips out easily (That’s an understatement. I love you, Renee, but you DO have a tendency to flip out, your big heart notwithstanding). A fellow group member identifies with what Renee says and admits that, like Renee, she often carries grudges too.

Another group member speaks up and addresses Renee directly. She tells Renee that she’s holding on “to stuff from 16 years ago!” Renee instantly gives this woman a look that says, “Ummm…EXCUSE me, B*tch!! And just who in the EFF are YOU!!” (And all I can do is cackle in front of my t.v. screen for some reason because I just find it hilarious). After giving this woman “the look of DEATH,” Renee goes off and “reads” the woman by loudly telling her, “Listen here! I heard that you have been talking behind my back. On top of that, you do NOT even KNOW me, and you have NO right to speak on me!!” (Even though this makes me giggle, I must tell the truth: She DOES have a right to speak on you, Renee! She’s a member of your support group where you guys have to openly share your opinions and feelings about yourselves and about each other. This is not a Mob sit-down! It is REHAB!! Deal with it, Sister!!).

The support group leader takes control of the situation and tells Renee that placing her emotions on other people is irrational. She tells Renee, “This is not really about the OTHER person. It is about YOU!” Renee shuts up, but she has a look on her face like she wants to spit nails.

Neil Wants Out Of The Dog House And Back Into Ang’s House

Big Ang is working at the “Drunken Monkey” when her estranged husband, Neil, drops by to visit her. She interviews that she threw Neil out again because he abandoned her at the hospital when he dropped her off for surgery. She also says that he does nothing around the house. She says, “He’s a SLOB, and I’m over it!!”

Neil sidles up to the bar, takes his seat, and gives Big Ang a sly, sh*t-eating grin. Big Ang looks at him with a stone face before she tells him that she’s sick of throwing him out of the house. Neil tells her that he is sick of being THROWN out of the house and follows this statement up with a “smooth operator” grin. Big Ang looks like her eyes are going to roll out of her head when he says this (and appears totally immune to the charm offensive he is launching in her direction).

Neil asks Big Ang what she wants from him. She tells him that he “don’t do NUTHIN’ around the house!! You don’t take care of the pets. You don’t take care of any of the household chores. All you do is drink Diet Coke!!” (Well, at least it is a non-alcoholic beverage, Ang, but I feel you. He can sip on his soda while he’s pushing a mop and doing laundry at least!).

Neil then offers to help out around the bar. Big Ang rolls her eyes at him, but she looks like she MIGHT be considering his offer. She interviews, “What part don’t you f*ckin’ GET??!! I threw you OUT!!”

Ramona Invites Drita To Tea (This is a LIE!!)

Ramona places a call to Drita while she is riding in her vehicle. Drita picks up her phone and looks like she is going to have a heart attack when she hears Ramona’s voice on the other end of the line.

Ramona tells Drita that she is having a birthday party for 2 of her daughters, and 1 of her daughters wants Aleeyah to be there. Drita interviews that her kids and Ramona’s kids met, bonded and grew to really like each other. She notes that this is unusual for Aleeyah because she does not bond that easily with other children. She also says that the fact that Ramona’s daughter is familiar with their lifestyle helps Aleeyah feel less isolated than some of her other peers who do not come from that type of background.

Ramona asks Drita if they can meet to talk and come to an understanding before the party. Drita hesitantly agrees. She interviews that the last time she saw Ramona she “wanted to put her head through a f*ckin’ window!! I don’t trust that mother*cker!!” She says that she only agreed to meet with Ramona for their daughters’ sakes.

Karen Works On Building Her Empire

Karen is walking into a music studio with some man who turns out to be a friend of hers who goes by the name, “Stormy.” She interviews that, ever since her meeting with a financial planner, she has been considering different investments so she can diversify her portfolio. To that end, she is visiting the music studio at the invitation of Stormy so that she can decide whether or not she wants to make this studio one of her investments.

Karen tells Stormy that she recently found out that her daughter, Karina, can sing. So, she is thinking of investing in this music studio because it will also be an investment in nurturing her daughter’s singing talent. She interviews that she is considering this investment for 2 reasons: to make money; and to provide another incentive for Karina to stay with her in New York.

Ramona and Drita Become B.F.F.’s

It’s finally time for the big sit-down between Ramona and Drita. Ramona arrives and is seated in the restaurant waiting for Drita to join her. She interviews that if Drita thinks she’s “going to f*ck with me, she’s got another thing coming!” She says that her grandfather was “Lefty 2 Guns,” and she fears nobody but God!

Drita interviews that she’s still in shock that Ramona called her. She makes it clear that she is very wary of this meeting. She says that she hopes this is not a set-up. When Drita arrives, she is stone-faced as she takes her seat at the table with Ramona.

Ramona opens the conversation and says that she hopes that they can talk like grown women and mothers with children instead of like people from the street. She maturely admits that she may have handled some things wrong in the past.

Drita says that she feels like people in their circle antagonized the situation between them and did not really want the 2 of them to get along. She also admits that she wrongfully entertained people and listened to a lot of “he say/she say” when it came to Ramona instead of directly talking to Ramona about what she was hearing.

They then discuss the knock-down, drag-out fight that took place between them (and Karen) at Renee’s party last season. Drita tells Ramona that people warned her beforehand that Ramona was going to attack her at the party. Ramona says that she never had any such plans.

Ramona then says, “Well, we can choose to be animals or choose to be ladies in the future.” They both agree that acting like animals is not a good look for women that are mothers.

Ramona then declares that she and Drita “are good.” (Thank God! I’m glad these two worked it out). They both shake hands and make up. Drita interviews that Ramona is looking more like “a mom” to her, as opposed to “Lucifer” (Drita’s old nickname for Ramona). She says that this “is nice.”

Ramona and Drita then chat and laugh like 2 girlfriends. They also discuss how their daughters have a lot in common and have bonded as a result.

Drita Tells Carla About Her Sit-Down With Ramona

Drita and Carla meet up at a gym to work out. While they are working out, Drita tells Carla that she met up with Ramona. Carla interviews that Drita must be joking.

Drita tells Carla how everything when down between her and Ramona, and how they are now no longer mortal enemies. Carla looks skeptical (and a little unhappy). She tells Drita that Ramona only called Drita “because she knows she did wrong, but she was too stubborn to admit it.”

Drita tells Carla that she wants peace (and I’m glad. I think being calmer and nicer and doing her best to refrain from fighting is really working for Drita). Carla interviews that she understands why Drita wants to put the past behind her when it comes to Ramona, but she still does not trust Ramona.

Carla tells Drita that she is “good with everybody right now” (Ummm…in WHOSE world, Carla? You are NOT good with everybody right now! Clueless Carla strikes again!).

I Want A Divorce!

Carla is in her kitchen puttering around and waiting for Joe, who asked if they could talk, to arrive. She interviews that she does not know what Joe’s urgency is about talking to her. She then snidely remarks, “Maybe things are different now that he’s been living with is little girlfriend,” indicating that she thinks that living with Raquel is starting to make Joe re-think his relationship with Raquel and his decision to allow her to move in with him (Boy, does Joe have a surprise for you, Carla!!).

Once Joe and Carla are seated at her kitchen table, Joe tells Carla that he went to see a divorce attorney. Carla’s eyes widen a bit when he says this. He continues and says that he thinks that it is best if he and Carla just part ways.

Carla tells him that what he just said is “cold.” He responds that he feels like his past was filled with negativity, and he likens their marriage to a bad business arrangement (Damn, Joe! Now that IS cold!). He says he wants to close the door on all of that negativity and move on to a more positive future. One big step which will allow him to do that is getting divorced from Carla.

Carla (even though she looks like she is doing her best to maintain a façade of calmness), who looks like she is reeling just a little bit, tells Joe that she went through a lot with him being in jail and having to take care of their kids and everything else by herself while he was in jail. Joe just looks at her like, “Yeah…and…? Yada, yada, yada! Give me my divorce so I can wash my hands of you and move on with my Sweet Thang, Racquel!”

Joe tells Carla that she needs to retain counsel “to get this done expeditiously.” Carla tells Joe that she thinks a divorce is “just a technicality” (Umm…WHAT?!). Joe disagrees and says, “It’s NOT a technicality.”

Carla then relents and says that she will get an attorney. Joe tells her that once everything is in writing and on paper, she must abide by it. He explains that this means she must be “stable and on an even keel.” He further tells her that this means she can’t just decide at the last minute that he cannot see his children because she is all of a sudden angry at him over something. He expresses his frustration over having to deal with her mood swings and volatility and its effect on his ability to see his kids in the past. He makes it clear that, once everything is in writing, she will no longer be able to pull those types of stunts. Carla just looks at him without saying anything.

Joe then tries to get Carla to admit that she is volatile. Carla interviews that she has been a mother on her own for 6 years, and Joe cheated on her. “So, yeah, I can be a little crazy at times.”

Senior Citizens’ Drunken Daytime Brawl At The Drunken Monkey

Big Ang is at “The Drunken Monkey” during the day. Despite the fact that it looks like it is the middle of the day, the bar actually has patrons that are just boozing it up. Many of these patrons are senior citizens who look like they are enjoying their retirement by knockin’ ‘em back at “The Drunken Monkey.”

Big Ang interviews that things are going great with “The Drunken Monkey,” but there have been a few issues with the daytime workers. So, she has decided to be there more during the day to solve those problems.

While Ang is busy just working away in the bar, 2 gentlemen start yelling at each other from across the bar. They then eventually start fighting. Big Ang and others get in the middle of them to break the fight up. Big Ang is screaming at them.

The fight appears to be resolved, but it doesn’t last because some peripheral player in the earlier altercation approaches one of the gentlemen involved and starts talking crap to him. So, of course, a brand new brawl starts.

Then, it’s Big Ang’s husband, Neil to the rescue. Neil comes from out of nowhere and easily uses his brawn to break the fight up (At this point, I realize how HUGE Neil is. I never noticed that before. Maybe it’s because he’s often next to BIG Ang. He actually makes Big Ang look normal-sized as she’s near him trying to calm down the madness! Everybody else around him looks like a little person.).

Big Ang eventually looks on as Neil gets everything calmed down. She has a look in her eyes like she has fallen in love with Neil all over again (I don’t blame her. I kinda got the hots watching Neil in action myself!). She interviews and says, “Well, it’s ABOUT time, Neil!!” (I expect him to be moved back into Ang’s house by nightfall).

Melina and Anissa’s Joint Birthday Party

It’s the day of Ramona’s daughters’ joint birthday party. The party spot is filled with teenagers (and some parents), a DJ, 2 big cakes and presents. Ramona interviews that she always had over-the-top parties growing up in the lifestyle.

Karen arrives at the party with her daughter, Karina. Love also arrives to show her support. Ramona tells Karen and Love that she and Drita met and successfully settled their differences. Love interviews that this shows how much Ramona and Drita love their children because they basically squashed everything for the sake of their own daughters’ happiness. Ramona interviews that last year she, Karen and Drita all wanted to kill each other.

Drita finally arrives with her daughter Aleeyah. She is greeted with warm hugs from Karen, Ramona and Love when she approaches them. She returns their hugs and hugs Ramona’s daughters too. She interviews that she feels like a huge burden has been lifted off her shoulders (I feel like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders too. I was tired of the “Drita Fighting With Ramona and Karen” storyline. I wish these women could go over to “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and talk to the Producers of that show. The whole, “Everybody Bashes and Fights With Teresa, Who Is The Mastermind of All That Is Evil In The World” is also super-played-out and makes me want to stab myself with my Crystal Lite glass as I watch!!!).

As Ramona, Drita, Karen and Love stand around and talk at the party, Karen says she wishes that Renee could be there. The other women agree.

At a certain point during the party, Ramona presents her daughters with a brand new puppy that is as cute as a button.

And a good time was had by all. The End.

Carla And Big Ang Shoot The Breeze

Carla and Big Ang are hanging out at some restaurant (or bar. I can’t quite tell). Carla tells Big Ang that Joe asked her for a divorce. Big Ang’s eyes widen, and she asks Carla how she feels about this. Carla interviews that Raquel might be looking at Joe like he’s this perfect man, but “he’s been in jail and he cheated on his wife.” She then says, “Good luck to you!” (Men who cheat on their wives never seemed to bother you before, Carla. Why so moral all of a sudden?).

Carla tells Big Ang that she needs to move on with her life too (You already have. You’ve had a boyfriend for years. I honestly think Carla is actually a little bit sad about the divorce, but she will NEVER admit it. I don’t think she wants Joe back. I just think her ego is bruised.).

Karen decides to visit the music studio in which she has invested. She brings her daughter, Karina, Karina’s cousin, Déjà, and Ramona’s daughter, Anissa, with her.

Once inside, she is introduced to a vocal coach by the name of Boris, who agrees to listen to the 3 girls sing and to provide feedback. Karen interviews that she wants Karina to know that, with this music studio, she has something that is “just for her” when she comes to visit.

Karina, Déjà and Anissa get in the booth and sing (They sound alright, I guess. They don’t exactly blow me away with enormous talent, however. Let’s just say that they can carry a tune and do not sound totally awful. So that’s a good start.). The voice coach puts them through their paces, offers constructive criticism and makes them perform the song more than once.

Karen interviews that she is so excited. She says that the experience is all about teaching and learning something new.

Ramona Has A Fiancé’

Ramona and her very young daughter, Gianna, visit her presently-jailed boyfriend’s attorney (Why did Ramona bring this little girl with her to discuss these matters? I think this is entirely inappropriate.). She interviews that she is meeting with the attorney because wants a status update on her boyfriend’s case.

Ramona’s boyfriend’s attorney bluntly tells Ramona that he has no answers for her. He explains that federal cases are notoriously slow and take a very long time (He’s not lying about that. They are.). Ramona interviews that she feels like her life is on hold until her boyfriend’s case is settled one way or the other.

The attorney continues and explains that the Federal Government will do everything it can to make Ramona’s boyfriend’s life and his family’s lives as difficult as possible in order to force him to become a “rat.”

Ramona reminds the attorney that the Feds confiscated jewelry that she had in her boyfriend’s home, and she has no idea when and if she is ever going to get it back. He just looks at her.

Ramona then tells the attorney that she has been secretly engaged to her boyfriend for a while now (Really??!!). She says that the only people who even know she is engaged are her children. She has not even told her friends. She tells the lawyer that she has been too fearful to wear her engagement ring because she is afraid that it will be confiscated by the Feds the same way they confiscated all the other jewelry she had in her boyfriend’s house while she lived there.

The attorney tells her that, as long as Ramona can prove that her boyfriend bought her that ring with legitimate funds, she should have no fear of wearing the ring in public.

Renee Checks In From Rehab

Renee is sitting on her bed in her room at the rehab facility when she makes a call to Drita, who is puttering around in her home. Drita asks Renee how she is holding up, and Renee laughingly tells her that she has been placed in Anger Management. She says, “Can you believe it? ME? In anger management?” She follows this sarcastic question with a big cackle. She also tells Drita that the people at her rehab facility “talk so sweet and nice, and here I am like, ‘WHAT THE F*CK??!!’” She cackles again when she describes her bull in a china shop-type behavior. Drita interviews that she has no idea why a person would need anger management of all things. She then cackles herself (because she knows that she was once the poster child for anger management herself).

Renee then asks Drita how her life is going. Drita tells Renee that she and Lee are working on things. She interviews that she’s “giddy like a jerk-off, and it’s embarrassing!”

Drita then changes the subject and tells Renee that there is a huge storm coming their way. Renee tells Drita that she knows. Drita interviews that she is worried about losing her home. She tells Renee that Lee advised her to stay home, but she does not feel comfortable doing that because her house is in an evacuation zone.

All Of The Women Prepare For Hurricane Sandy

Alternating scenes of all of the cast members show them getting ready to face Hurricane Sandy in their own ways.

During her phone call with Drita, Renee asks Drita to check up on A.J. for her. She interviews that she feels bad that she is not able to be with her son at a time like this. However, she knows that other family members and friends of hers are making sure that A.J. stays safe.

Love is shown lighting candles all around her house. She interviews that she is praying that everyone stays safe.

Karen is shown gathering her luggage and leaving her apartment because it is located in an evacuation zone.

Ramona is over at Big Ang’s house, and they are discussing how they plan to handle the upcoming storm. Ramona interviews that everyone needs to put their differences aside and step up to help each other.

Carla is at home on her couch with her twins watching weather reports regarding the upcoming storm. She interviews that she has never seen anything like this in this area before.

Several scenes of Hurricane Sandy and its devastating effects are shown. Scenes of huge waves and chaotic waters are shown near the shoreline. Mayor Bloomberg is shown instructing citizens about the severity of the storm and the safety precautions that need to be taken. Scenes of several electrical fires and burning and destruction and groups of firemen to the rescue are shown while a voiceover says that Hurricane Sandy is the “most catastrophic hurricane in this city’s history.”

The episode ends with a P.S.A. where each cast member implores people to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy.

A.J. meets with Renee at the rehab facility. Renee cries hysterically as they talk.

Drita is talking to Big Ang and Carla when she screams, “I open the door and guess who’s standing in front of my f*ckin’ face!!” She has a HUGE grin when she says this. So my guess is that it was someone with a name that rhymes with “Bee.”
