Il litio è il materiale che negli ultimi anni ha rivoluzionato il concetto di batteria, per durata , capacità e caratteristiche di ricarica.

Ben tutti conosciamo gli enormi vantaggi che il litio ha apportato nei telefonini che utilizziamo tutti i giorni.

La Porsche ha ben pensato di dotare i suoi nuovi modelli sportivi di una particolare batteria auto sviluppata mediante l’impiego del litio in sostituzione alle più storiche e pesanti batterie al piombo o al gel.

I vantaggi ci sono tutti :

• Minor ingombro
  Conservando le stesse dimensioni superficiali (larghezza e lunghezza)
  riduce il suo ingombro di profondità, consentendone un più facile e accessibile alloggiamento.
• Riduzione di peso
  La ditta costruttrice dichiara un risparmio di peso … fino a 10Kg !!!
• Maggior spunto in accensione
  La tecnologia al litio garantisce ottime performance di erogazione della corrente
• Stessa Capacità
  A oggi il modello utilizzato di Porsche si attesta a 18Ah
• Maggior Durata
  L’azienda produttrice garantisce che la vita della batteria è stata triplicata
  rispetto alle convenzionali batterie al piombo.

Sono presupposti che fanno molta gola alle case produttrici di automobili sportive,
e così Porsche ha dichiarato a sorpresa che questa nuova batteria potrà essere richiesta come optional sui modelli : 911 GT3, 911 GT3 RS e Boxster Spyder.

Ma se puoi permetterti una Porsche non sarà certo il prezzo a fermarti

Peccato che il prezzo sia alto … devo confessarvi che è da un anno che cerco una batteria al litio con le caratteristiche analoghe alle batterie per moto …
… ma nulla, non avevo mai trovato nulla !

Per questo mi ha colpito questa notizia … non ero il solo ad avere questo desiderio,
e oggi ho capito che avrei risparmiato 10Kg

Spero che i prezzi raggiungano traguardi più accettabili,
in questo modo sulla mia Ducati potrò risparmiare 10kg di peso
e avere un nuovo vano portaoggetti

Die Idee lag ja eigentlich auf der Hand. Ein Wunder, dass es nicht längst schon Tische und Unterschränke mit integriertem Rechner gibt. Da musste extra ein Modder draufkommen?

Nun hat man die Idee schon mal, einen coolen PC-Schreibtisch zu basteln, und was macht der Junge da? Nimmt das langweiligste unmodernste Furnierholz-Teil, was bei den Großeltern im Sperrmüll zu finden war…
Immerhin ist der PC-Tisch wassergekühlt, was dank Plexiglasscheibe auch zur Geltung kommt.
Findige Bastler können so etwas natürlich mit ihrem persönlichem Lieblingsschreibtisch nachmachen. Aber warum ist noch kein Möbelhersteller auf die Idee gekommen, so etwas in Serie anzubieten? Verknüpft mit einem technischen Update so alle drei bis vier Jahre? Das wäre doch mal wirklich cool. [Ralf]

Locate a DRM-free song you want in iTunes and take note of the start and stop time of the section you want to use for the ringtone. It can be up to 30 seconds in length.

Right click the song and choose “Get Info” and click on the “Options” tab. Enter the start and stop time values in the appropriate section. Click OK.

Go up to “iTunes/Preferences…” and under “General/Import Settings…” choose “AAC Encoder” Click OK. Click OK again.

Go back to your song, right click and choose “Create AAC Version”. After it’s done converting your song, right click the newly created AAC file and choose “Show in Finder”. Change the .m4a extension of this file to .m4r. Keep this window open.

Go back to the original song in iTunes and zero out the start and stop times you set earlier so your song will play in it’s entirety again. Delete the AAC file you encoded from the library. Choose “Keep File” when the dialog window appears.

Go back to the window that has your .m4r file and drag it into iTunes under the Ringtones section of your iPhone. You’ll see your iPhone light up and sync. Once complete, on your iPhone go to Settings/Sounds and change your ringtone to the one you just created. Isn’t that lovely?

So, that’s my 1st post on Lawliets blog. I want to say hello and put my judgment about mods from PMWT.

I will start from 1 round. Tetris mod has the best idea/concept. None of other mods from this round can be so new like this. It’s not a cheapest mod like Pienieks or the best looking, but it’s so innovative. Ahh, MaPic+ GJ. Colors can be better, but it’s tetris idea – random colors ^^.

From 2nd round i have chosen more than 1 mod. I did in that not another way, cause the all mods have interesting functions. I have chosen this mods, what have amazing functions.

The Freshmaker – I’ve never thought about putting mentos to pen and for more this mod can write. It’s awesome in some way. Only yellow cartoon comssa cap or something like that looks very ugly. I think better would be not clear, regular yellow comssa cap.

Mod by Modder5 (cause on PMWT site i can’t find who has made it and how that mod is called)

This mod looks really ugly. white comssa cap doesn’t fit into body color with outsert. Grips has regular Ryo or nhk9 colors (red vs. blue) and has no color rings. But look at function. Just look at this fan into comssa body and how to make it open/closed. It’s very nice idea. I think this is a winner of 2nd round.

911 mod

When i look at this i imagin how ugly my modder kit looks. In some way this mod is hilarious. Who will need this tools away from the desk? 911 has X-acto, Sticky Tak, Metal Hook, Clear Tape and Tweezer.

In round 3 was only few the best modders contesting for 3-person final. Densen77 have made some interesting mod called 2409. I always like chaos sign. But this gripcut is almost invisible, color scheme is bad. If he use white grip or neon green it can be the best mod.

The Neptune mod called Fusion mod is just unbeliveble. How he made it?! o.O That’s the best mod for now, even better than last round mods.

The last round – final. The contestants have to create luminous mod. I will comment only 1 mod, cause it’s the best IMO – The Sunrising Spirit. When i looked at other mods i thought about boring leds, not in this mod. Neptune used glow sticks and his devil skill in gripcut. It looks amazing in the normal light and in the dark. It’s simply and the winrar mod ^^

This will be all for my 1st post. You can agree or not, that’s just my opinion.

Have you got an XBox 360. If so there’s a good chance that you use or have used Microsoft’s Xbox Live service. For those of you that don’t know of it, it’s a service that allows your Xbox to connect to the internet to play games against other players on the internet – friends or strangers! For example you could play your favourite racing game and race against your buddies who are sat at their homes playing.

Well in the past part ot the terms and conditions of connecting to Xbox Live is that you are not allowed to use pirated or copied games. Because the Xbox is able to detect copied games, it will not generally play them. So if you wanted to be able to play copied games you have to get your Xbox modified. This is where these users get caught. If you’ve had your Xbox modified then, apparently, the servers on the Xbox Live service can detect this and now automatically ban your machine from connecting again.

And worse still, you cannot get on by simply “un-modding” your Xbox. Once your machine is banned, it’s banned for its life – the only way to get back onto the service is to buy a new Xbox.

So be warned if you’re running a “modded” Xbox!

I suppose if you’ve done this deliberately then you should accept the penalty. The only issue that arises in my thoughts is those people who have bought a second-hand Xbox with the specific purpose of playing on-line – presumably we as mere mortals aren’t able to tell a “modded” Xbox from one that hasn’t been modified.
