Today’s interview is with Tilcia; an American based model who is amazingly versatile, stunning, and such a radiant personality.

Today in fact she is modelling at a beauty workshop in Atlanta; GA! So show her some love and go to her Face-book fan page now and ‘like’ it (links are at the end of the interview). Hope you have a great time today Tilcia! Thank you for a wonderful interview.

ABOUT YOU

What is your modelling name? Tilcia

What type of modelling do you do? I’ve done light acting and modelling. But for the modelling side of talent, I’ve done a little bit of everything – promotional, events, trade shows, commercial, bikini, fitness, runway, beauty, fashion, spokes model, comic book (where I posed as a character or posed for an artist to create a character), artistic model (posed for painters/artists), body parts and fetish (not the porn/exposed nudity that it is now days – but rather when fetish left things to the imagination), etc.

3. Where do you work from/ are you located? I’m located in Birmingham, Alabama, but I will travel to wherever the work is.

4. Are you affiliated with an agency or are you independent? Right now I’m independent but would like to get signed with an agency. In my earlier years, I was non-exclusively signed to 3 or 4 agencies (2 in FL, 1 in GA and 1 in NYC). I quit modelling about 5 or 6 years ago and have now returned.

5. Who is your role model? I never had any celebrity role models. My parents inspired me to a point. We were poor and ethnic (Native American & Spanish) in the Deep South when you were either white or black and no other race. My mother came to America with very little education in 1967. She has done well for herself considering the challenges she had to overcome.

6. How did they inspire you to become a model? My parents really didn’t inspire me to become a model. Actually started dancing and singing in school plays around the Third Grade. Singing was something my dad loved and he encouraged me to try to help me overcome my shyness.

7. How long have you been modelling? I modelled in high school (2 years). Stopped when I graduated (I was very shy – still sort of am shy). Got spotted when I was 29 or 30, right after my divorce, while visiting with my high school girlfriend, Cathy B aka Kat, who worked the door. I was asked if I would be interested in being a spokes model for Budweiser. I needed the money and said sure. From there I went on to do other modelling locally, as well as in Atlanta, South Beach, and New York. Some of the modelling in Florida was for the European market rather than the US.

8. How did you get into modelling? I was in High School. I think I was around 15 and it was two of my teachers that pushed for me to audition for a casting for runway models during prom season. I auditioned and got the job going to different places modelling prom dresses and bride’s maid’s dresses.

9. Can you remember your first modelling assignment? Yes. What was that like? Scary. I had to go out in front of my entire school (mind you I was NEW to this high school and very different from the other kids). I was asked to do a little dancing when I got to my stopping spot on the runway. I got through it although I thought I’d die. I think one of my friends’ parents’ even taped the event because a lot of kids talked for a while afterwards about my dancing.

10. What, in your opinion is the most difficult thing about modelling? (1) Posing. Some of the poses you see that look so wonderful are not the most comfortable and you have to hold them for a long time in most cases just so the photographer can get that one perfect shot. (2) The age discrimination. When I started at 29/30 – it was much easier back then for me than it is now. Ad agencies want 15 to 25 year olds to model for everything – including those ads where it clearly should be someone in their mid-30s to mid-40s. It’s like once you hit mid-30s or 40s, and they know your age, you’re considered washed up – basically invisible.

11. Do you really enjoy modelling? Yes. Or is it just another job for you? No it’s not another job. I love modelling that’s why I am trying to make a comeback. The end results – when the photos are ready to be released – they’re magical. Regardless of the smoke & mirrors of the entertainment business (airbrushing, photoshop, etc.), beautiful pictures are something everyone loves to look at.

12. What is the most amazing thing that has happened to you because of modelling? I have met some amazing and talented people in this business. I learned a lot about myself and what I can accomplish and what I my limits are.

13. What have you got planned for the future? I want to continue modelling and acting. I am hoping my comeback is successful.

14. Is modelling your main job or do you do other things? Unfortunately, it is not my main job right now. Once upon a time it was for a few years. I would like to make it my main job again – well 2nd behind being a mother. Now that’s a tough job. LOL

15. Does modelling have a cut-off age? Yes and No.

16. How can a model keep working in such a competitive industry after age 30? Modelling after 30, 35, or even 40 can be very tough if the model doesn’t look at least like she’s in her 20s. But there is a market for older models – mainly in the commercial area.

17. What has changed about you as a person as a direct result of being a model? I’m more confident in myself and learned not to take anything personally. Rejection and being overly shy is simply a state of mind. Not to say that I don’t still get nervous on shoots or auditions, it just means that I’ve learned to channel and redirect my energy.

18. If you weren’t a model what would you be? What I’ve always been for the past 21 years – a mom. I have two (2) wonderful boys, Corey age 21 years and Damian age 30 months.

HOW DO YOU?

How do you keep your skin looking healthy? LOL now that a challenge. I’m not afraid to try products but because my skin is sensitive, I have to be careful of the ingredients in products that I do put on my skin. As you get older you have to really work on your skin as it’s not as firm nor rebuilds collagen like it did say when you were much younger. The occasional microdermabrasion with light peel, moisturizers and never leave the house without at least a 25 to 55 spf on my face. I’m always researching and exploring ways to keep the lines, crow’s feet at bay as well as ways to keep the skin firm, toned and ways to help keep the collagen plump.

Do you ever have bad skin or hair days? Yes and those that say no are lying. How do you deal with those? For the bad hair days – pony tails are your best friend! I have long hair and it’s easy to slick the top smooth and pull it back. For the bad skin days – you treat the issue, moisturize, use a tinted primer or facial lotion over the area(s), dust a little powder and go about your day. The one thing to remember is don’t touch your face a lot, don’t pick at the area that’s you see as a problem as these can make it much worse than it is.

Do you have to eat any ‘special’ kinds of food to stay in shape? I should but I’m not that disciplined right now. I have kids, I own a day care which many times I don’t have time to eat and I also work part-time as a property manager.

What is your typical daily diet like? I’m your basic meat & potatoes gal. I don’t diet (hate that word in the traditional sense) per se. For my own health issues, I refrain from processed foods, fried foods, greasy foods, etc. as they will make me sick. I try to eat lots of yogurt (Greek is my favourite) and fresh fruit every day. I try to eat more veggies than meat, and more chicken than beef or pork. I don’t like fish.

How do you keep in shape? Besides playing with kids and running around like a crazy mad person between jobs and kids… LOL … it’s not easy. Right now my weight loss is attributed to some health issues. I did join Snap Fitness in Vestavia last month and work out about an hour to hour and a half a few days a week. I hope to get a personal trainer to assist (push me hard) a couple of days a month in the near future.

Can you give us a typical workout plan you stick to each week? I wish I had one. I haven’t been able to make it to the gym in 2 weeks. But I did get a good workout cleaning windows for my boss at his three commercial buildings. Dragging heavy hoses and boxes of cleaning solution and scrubbing dirty windows will give you a full body work out – especially your legs and upper arms.

How do you deal with bloating or getting lean just before a shoot? I don’t think about it. I don’t want to make myself crazy over stuff that sometimes you can’t overcome. Right now I’m 2 weeks out from a beauty shoot so I am drinking more water, lots of fresh fruits (esp. those that are considered “wet” fruit like melons (esp. watermelon), cantaloupe, strawberries, peaches, plums, apples), more salads and lots of nuts and yogurts. Dessert is often a cup of jello (orange or cherry). I am eating this way for my skin, to make sure I minimize or prevent my face from being broken out.

Do you have any beauty tips to give our readers? Take care of your skin NOW. It’s easier to maintain youthful skin than trying to remove creases and lines. Crows feet, creases in your forehead and lines around your mouth are all life’s doings – not using spf on your face when you’re outside, over tanning, smoking, squinting, furrowing your brow/forehead, pursing your lips, over indulging in alcohol, doing drugs, etc. These are all very bad for your skin and will age you fast. When people are young, they don’t think about their skin until the damage is done. Prevention is key. I looked very young at 30 because I didn’t party, drink, smoke, etc.

What are your ‘swear-by’ things to do before a photoshoot? Plenty of rest and water. Sleep with a heavy duty night cream with retinol A.

Do you have any tips for becoming more photogenic? Practice, practice and more practice of posing in front of a mirror so moving becomes second nature. I am still trying to remember and learn this again.

How do you cope with the pressures of modelling? I don’t take it seriously per se. Meaning, I don’t take rejection and the competition as seriously as others. I go in with an open mind and professional attitude. But I don’t take rejection seriously at all – if I’m not what they’re looking for, then so be it. The casting people don’t know me, so it’s not personal. They’re doing their job trying to find someone that fits the part they’re casting for. Eventually someone else will come along that feels I’m right for their campaign and will pick me.

FINDING WORK/BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL MODEL

In your opinion: what is the difference between a professional and an amateur model? A professional is one who makes a living by solely modelling and/or acting. An amateur is one who is just starting and has so much to learn. Then you have the hobby models – those of us in between. We have experience but not enough to make a living solely with the modelling/acting. Some are trying to go pro and some are happy to be the hobby model/actor.

Is it possible to become a successful model without an agency or an agent? I’ve heard some say they have. But it’s hard because it’s a lot to keep up by yourself – researching/looking for castings, keeping a schedule/daily planner of casting call times, networking, etc.

Do you have any tips on how to start out as a model? If you’re serious – do your homework and be realistic about your looks and stats. Research what the industry minimum standards are for runway, fashion, plus, bikini, fitness, etc. – do you fit in their ideal range for runway? Fashion? Bikini? Fitness? Commercial Print? Plus size? If you do, then seek a local legitimate agency to help you get started. If you’re willing and able to move, send some “polaroids” (aka snap shots – clear of your full body in a bathing suit or dark skinny jeans and fitted black tank; head shot (hair pulled back and hair down), side shots, and a back shot (hair pulled up (pony tail or bun) and with hair down) via mail to some agencies in larger cities. You don’t have to do fancy make-up shots. Agencies need to know what you look like without the hair and make-up…they need to see your SKIN. Be wary of GWCs (guys with cameras), they will try to tell you that you have to model nude to be a model. This is not the case. Remember it is your body, therefore, your call.

Are there any upfront fees? You should never pay an agency. They make their money off any job you book. You may have some out of pocket expenses for comp cards/zed cards and the agency photographer. You will have to pay for your comps/zeds and pay the agency photographer to shoot your contact sheet(s) for your agency to approve/choose which to use for your comp or zeds.

What is TFP and why would I want to do it? TFP is Time/Trade for Print. It is a good way to gain experience and build up a portfolio to show potential clients. You should always strive to work with good photographers. The more experienced photographers can aid you in learning how to move, how to find a good MUA/HMUA, stylist, etc. for better shoots.

How do you set your modelling rate? Like any job, the more experienced you are, the better you stand at getting more pay. When starting out, TFP is fine to do so you can gain experience, exposure and build a top notch portfolio which will all help in getting paid and/or better paying jobs.

How do you find work? Right now, I subscribe to several different websites that having casting notices. I am a member of Model Mayhem, OMP, Explore Talent, and a few others…and check their casting calls as often as I can.

How can you tell if someone offering you a job is genuine or is just a scam artist? Research, research, research! Always check references, ask around, google the internet, and listen to your gut. Remember if you’ve never booked a job and someone is offering you $5k for a job – there’s your warning sign – run away. Those jobs are typically booked through an agency.

How do you deal with safety or security issues when working with new people? See my response to # 8 above – research, research, research and check references. Also, it’s wise to meet people before you shoot so you can get a feel for them.

Do you have to bring your own clothes and make-up to a photoshoot? Typically you do if it’s TFP, unless it’s been arranged by the photographer for a MUA/HMUA and stylist.

Where can you learn how to pose and model? In front of a mirror. Review fashion magazines, youtube.com on models who have videos there, and on set either TFP or paid jobs.

SOCIAL ISSUES IN MODELLING

What are the most common misconceptions you come across in your line of modelling? That models are rich, wild and/or not a normal person…and that modelling is easy.

Since you started modelling, what are the most significant changes you have noticed in the industry? Everyone is super skinny – like size 00 or 0 and so young – like 14 year olds playing dress up for clothing that is more for late 20s and older. There’s not really too many models out there in magazines, ads or commercials that are age relatable now days.

Has social media like Facebook, Twitter etc changed the face of modelling? Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I don’t think so. Modelling is its own world.

Is it easier to become a professional model now or not? No, it’s not. The competition is extremely high.

Do you support photoshopping images? Or do you prefer images that are not airbrushed? There is a place and time for everything. But nowadays, the images are beyond natural. It used to be you could still recognize the person’s skin tone, etc. but now it’s like a whole ‘nother person in the photos.

Do you ever feel under pressure to lose weight or have cosmetic surgery? No. Even when I was told to drop down to 100-110 lbs. I told my NYC agencies when I was 30+ years old, that I was over 30, 5’6” tall at 117 lbs (size 3), I personally felt I was a little too skinny. I’m an ethnic chick who never liked being skinny so now with curves and a little meat, I think I’m beautiful and just right size wise.

There has been a lot of debate in the media about unrealistic body expectations placed on females due to images used to promote things like clothing, beauty products etc. What is your opinion on this? I agree. The models are unrealistically skinny. Some have died from health issues related to malnutrition in order to stay skinny. This is not the image that should be sent out to our youth…especially our young girls.

Would you encourage your child to go into modelling? My oldest son, Corey, did model some when he was young, landed the cover of his first photo shoot. If he was serious about returning, I’d support him. My youngest, Damian, isn’t even remotely ready to attempt it. He’s my wild child…LOL. But if it was something that he wanted or liked, I’d support him. I would never push my children to do something they didn’t like.

ABOUT YOU
1. What is your modelling name?

Tonia Cascio, I just use my real name.

2. What type of modelling do you do?

Beauty and Fashion mostly but will do almost any except nude

3. Where do you work from/ are you located?

I currently live in Covina, Ca

4. Are you affiliated with an agency or are you independent?

I have an agency but book most of my jobs freelance

5. Who is your role model? How did they inspire you to become a model?

I absolutely love Karlie Kloss, She is my favorite model. She is amazing at posing, and has been modeling since she was very young and has done so much with her career.

6. How long have you been modelling?

Almost a year

7. How did you get into modelling?

I had always wanted to model since I was young. I grew up in a small town in Illinois where there is pretty much no modeling opportunities unless you drove to Chicago which was an hour and a half drive. I moved to Los Angeles right after high school with my best friend but was still too shy to try it out. I started going to school for Fashion Design and the graduating students get a fashion show at the end of the semester and one of them asked me to model for them. I was really nervous but figured I would regret it if I didn’t take the opportunity. So I walked in the show and had so much fun and shortly after that scheduled my first photoshoot.

8. Can you remember your first modelling assignment? What was that like?

My first paid modeling assignment was horrible! lol. It was for a hair show which I will never do again unless it pays really well!! It was 3 12 hour days and most the day was spent just sitting in a chair waiting for your turn to have your hair done or whatever. When they dyed my hair they left the bleach on too long or used the wrong developer and ended up burning my scalp and also when cutting my hair at one point the used an electric razor and cut a small line in my neck! (Aren’t these people supposed to be professionals)

9. What, in your opinion is the most difficult thing about modelling?

Booking jobs. That is definitely the hardest part. You have to constantly go to castings, and also spend a lot of time looking on different sites and networking your ass off to try to book jobs. I spend a few hours a day just looking and submitting myself to jobs. Also finding a good agency to be with. I went to one agency and she told me my personality didn’t match my look. They pay attention to everything!

10. Do you really enjoy modelling? Or is it just another job for you?

I really do enjoy it. Everyday is something different. I’ve had jobs where I was a cashier, or sitting in a small desk all day and I could never imagine going back to that. I shot a music video recently and got to spend the whole day on the beach and get paid! It really is fun. I absolutely love getting my hair and makeup done and getting dressed up and being able to express myself in the photos.

11. What is the most amazing thing that has happened to you because of modelling?

I would say meeting so many new people. I have made so many new friends since I started modeling and almost everyone I have met is super cool and down to earth.

12. What jobs do you have coming up?

I have a magazine editorial I am shooting on the 22nd, It will be published in next months issue of TinselTokyo magazine and the theme is “Rock N Roll.” On the 24th I will be doing a live webcast for KMS and Goldwell where they will be cutting my hair and streaming it live. And Sometime in the near future Date TBD I am filming an episode of Beverly Hills Pawn Shop, I will be an actor. So watch for it when it comes out =]

13. What have you got planned for the future?

Continue modeling, I also want to get into acting, I think it would be a lot of fun. I also am thinking about opening up my own modeling agency and I’m almost done with school for my fashion design degree so I think it would be fun to open my own store or have a clothing line.

14. Is modelling your main job or do you do other things?

My main job.

15. If you weren’t a model what would you be?

Right now if I wasn’t modeling I would probably just be a student and have a part time job somewhere.

HOW DO YOU?

1. How do you keep your skin looking healthy?

I have naturally perfect skin. I almost never have breakouts. My skin is one of the things I get constantly complimented on. The only thing I do is to make sure I wash it everyday.

2. Do you ever have bad skin or hair days? How do you deal with those?

Not too often. I have short hair so it is pretty easy to maintain and if I have a rare breakout I will just use some coverup.

3. Do you have to eat any ‘special’ kinds of food to stay in shape?

Nope.

4. What is your typical daily diet like?

I eat whatever I want! A lot of junk food. I try to eat healthy but it’s hard sometimes.

5. Can you give us a typical workout plan you stick to each week?

I never work out. I want to start but I hate working out in front of people and just never have time when I am home. Occasionally I will take my dogs for hikes or go rock climbing but that is about it.

6. How do you deal with bloating or getting lean just before a shoot?

I don’t have to worry about it too much. I’ll just try not to drink soda the day before, drink a lot of water and try not to eat anything to unhealthy the day of the shoot or the day before.

7. Do you have any beauty tips to give our readers?

Drink a lot of water and get enough sleep =]

8. What are your ‘swear-by’ things to do before a photoshoot?

Always make sure you pack a bag of essentials (some extra clothes/shoes that go along with the concept of shoot, basic makeup, etc), Even if it is a professional shoot it’s always better to have something and not need it then to need it and not have it.

FINDING WORK/BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL MODEL

1. I have been approached on the street/mall and offered a professional photoshoot with a photographic studio. Will this help me to become a model?

It could, always take a business card and try and try to do as much research as you can on the person/agency/scout. Make sure they are not going to charge you any money. I have been handed buisness cards from “scouts” after fashion shows and other things and they ended up not being legit agencies or scouts, they were asking for money. So the most important thing to remember is always do your research.

2. In your opinion: what is the difference between a professional and an amateur model?

I feel like an amateur model is someone who is still building their portfolio and is not ready to get paid work and a professional model is someone who is booking paid work on a regular basis.

3. Is it possible to become a successful model without an agency or an agent?

Yes I think it is. Almost all of my jobs I find on my own (I wouldn’t call myself a successful model just yet but I do find a decent amount of jobs), an agency I feel is going to help you book the big campaigns and big name brand jobs that would be harder for you to get as a freelance model but it is still possible with networking.

4. What do you do at a casting?

It depends they are all different. Some of them you just walk in wait for them to call your name, hand them your portfolio, get your picture taken and then leave. Some of them for commercial you have to act out a scene (and when they make you do it with 3 or 4 or more people it gets difficult trying to get everyone to pay attention!) Most of the time they are pretty quick and you leave without any idea of how you did which is the worst part because then you sit and wonder about it for a couple days until you get a call back or not.

5. If I get signed up to a modelling agency will this guarantee me work?

No!!! Thinking like that can get you into trouble. I was with an agency and did not get sent on a single casting for 3 to 4 months at a time and at our meeting the agent made it sound so amazing and that I was going to get all this work but ended up not getting any. Always do a lot of research on an agency before you sign with them because you do not want to get stuck in a 1 year contract and also don’t sign with someone just because you are desperate or just starting out. A lot of agencies are going to lie to you to get you to sign with them.

6. In your opinion: what are the most common pitfalls within the industry for a model?

There are so many scams which is what makes the modelling industry hard for beginners. People spend a lot of money with hopes of booking jobs and a lot of the times those are scams. My whole portfolio was done as TFP (trade for prints) so I never paid anyone and I also never had to pay an agency or anything. I think the other hard thing about being a model is the industry stats. I am only 5ft 7in so it is a lot harder for me to book jobs or get signed with a good agency.

SOCIAL ISSUES IN MODELLING

1. Has social media like Facebook, Twitter etc changed the face of modelling? Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Yes! I have booked jobs through facebook. It makes it so much easier to network with photographer/muah. Facebook and twitter make is so much easier to get in contact with people.

2. Do most models get along? Or is there a lot of negative competition and backstabbing in the industry?

Me personally, I have never really had a problem with other models. Almost all of them that I have worked with have been really nice and down to earth.

3. Is it easier to become a professional model now or not?

I think so. With all the resources online it is so much easier to be a freelance model or an agency model.

What is your modelling name?

My modeling name is QuietAsKept
What type of modelling do you do?

I am primarily an art nude model.
Where do you work from/ are you located?

I am located in Baltimore,MD, USA.
Are you affiliated with an agency or are you independent?

I am 100% independent.

How long have you been modelling?
I have been modeling on and off for about two years. I was in college and I work a day job so there were periods when my schedule could not allow me to do photo shoots.
How did you get into modelling?
I had a rocky start when I first tried to become a model. I tried to get into mainstream modeling at first but found out that I didn’t have the right look. A few years ago I discovered art nude modeling and never looked back!
What, in your opinion is the most difficult thing about modelling?

The most difficult thing about modeling is finding photographers that have a mutual interest in shooting me.
Do you really enjoy modelling? Or is it just another job for you?

Yes, I do enjoy modeling! I don’t look at modeling as a job.
What have you got planned for the future?

After my portfolio is well-developed, I would like to model for some publications.

Is modelling your main job or do you do other things?

I have a “normal job” outside of modeling.
Does modelling have a cut-off age? How can a model keep working in such a competitive industry after age 30?

I have a bias since I’m an art nude model (haha). For fashion modeling, there is a cutoff age (which can not be disputed) unless one is a supermodel. I’m 26 and I’m still modeling so there’s not cutoff for art nude modeling. With commercial print modeling, there is no age limit either.
How do you keep your skin looking healthy?

I exfoliate my face and my entire about every two days.
Do you ever have bad skin or hair days?

The only time that I have bad skin is when I’m menstruating. I’m having a bad hair day as I type these questions (sad face). It’s very rare that I have bad hair days though. Currently, I have one because I need my split ends chopped.
FINDING WORK/BECOMING A PROFESSIONAL MODEL
Is it possible to become a successful model without an agency or an agent?
Yes, but it depends on if your look has any demand.
Do you have any tips on how to start out as a model?

Make sure that you fit the requirements for the type of modeling that you’d like to pursue. When I tried to become a fashion and commercial print model not knowing that I did not fit the requirements, I wasted hundreds of dollars that I can not get back.
Are there any upfront fees?

You should never pay agency to sign you.
What is TFP and why would I want to do it?

TFP has helped me a little. With TFP, models should only do those type of shoots with photographers that can enhance their portfolios.
How do you deal with safety or security issues when working with new people?

I check references and I let my significant other know of my whereabouts.

SOCIAL ISSUES IN MODELLING

What are the most common misconceptions you come across in your line of modelling?
The common misconception that I come across as an art nude model is that I was forced to pose nude. It was 100% my decision to pose nude and I was never forced to at all.
Would you ever publish un-airbrushed images of yourself? No.

Presenting to you Ms. Rena Louise!

She’s from a small town near Albany, New York. This lovely 22 year old blonde is 5’4″, 108 lbs, and has stunning green eyes. She’s Italian and German. Rena Louise has been a dancer and a cheerleader her whole life. Her loves are food, going for long runs, and being with her friends and family. Originally, she wanted to be a professional cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys (break my heart, a Cowboys fan! :’( haha), but she’s found a strong passion for photography and modeling. So here she is!!!

Me: How did you book your first photo shoot?

Rena Louise: I never actually planned on modeling. I always thought about it, but never went for it. I didn’t think I was good enough to model, or knew the right people. I did my first shoot to help a friend expand his portfolio for his photography business. After that- I was hooked! I fell in love with the feeling of being in front of a camera. It gives me such a rush, and I’m definitely addicted! Once I had a small portfolio going, people and photographers starting coming to me to schedule shoots, and I’ve been doing that ever since!

Me: What has been your favorite shoot to date?

Rena Louise: I love all of my photoshoots, whether it’s in the rain, in a studio, or outside on a hot sunny day! If I had to choose a favorite, it’d be my shoot at the waterfall in New York. This shoot can be found on my fanpage in the “Allstar Entertainment” album. This 6 1/2 hour shoot was a lot of fun being in water almost as deep as me and strong enough to send me down the falls. I was with great photographers (Kristie Marie Photography), a wonderful hair/makeup artist (Julie P.), and good company!

Me: Where do you want to be in your life five years from now?

Rena Louise: In five years I’d like to have found the right person to settle down with them, and become a full-time model and promoter.

Me: Why do you model?

Rena Louise: I model because I love it! It is so much fun to work with different people and photographers. I also love the feedback I receive from my fans. They are so supportive and inspiring. I’ve met a lot of wonderful people so far, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Me: If you had to give advice to women all over the world, what would be the number one thing you’ve learned that you would want them to know?

Rena Louise: I would want women all over the world to know what they’ve probably heard a million times before: that being beautiful doesn’t only count on the outside, but what’s inside as well. Never give up on your dreams. I’ve learned that you need to work for what you want, it’s not handed to you, and if you work for it hard enough, you’ll get it. <3

There you have it! Want more? Check this gorgeous model out at http://www.facebook.com/RenaLouise.
