Hiya guys

I had a pretty crap week last week, I had an awful huge cold sore, feeling ill and headachy all week and the weather was crap and I was in a bad mood pretty much the whole week but…this all changed on Thursday when i got a phone call from Robert @ Zuneta to tell me I would be one of the news faces representing Zuneta.com for 2010!! AND the photo shoot will be featured in Elle magazine! This put a HUGE smile on my face and I was feeling 10 times better about myself even though I looked so haggard!

I’m so excited to be doing this, I stumbled across the competition in September’s Elle magazine but didn’t think I had a chance in winning as there were so many girls and all so pretty! I still actually can’t believe it, and so excited as this will be my first major publication and will hopefully open doors to more opportunities!

I’m taking part in the shoot next Weds, and then have a couple of shoots coming up so I’ll have plenty to update you all on next week

:: CONTEST RULES ::

FIRST PHASE

• Join “Alatiel Fashions” group in-world to receive updates and results of selections.

• Prepare a FOLDER named “Alatiel Fashions Face 2010 – (Your Name)”.
Fill in the application below and include it in the folder together with 1 headshot and 1 bodyshot (both FULL PERM) wearing clothing from the new collection by Alatiel Fashions. You can find new items at Alatiel Mainstore tagged as “NEW”.

• Post-processing of photos is allowed but not necessary. You will be judged on your sense of style, overall balance and composition of outfit and on the unique features of your avatar. All photos will be added to “Alatiel Fashions Face 2010″ Flickr stream.

• The entry folder including filled in application AND full perm photos is to be sent to Livia Mastroianni by November 22nd, 2009 @ 1pm SLT.

• 30 models will be invited to join live auditions and they will be announced on November 29th, 2009.

LIVE AUDITIONS (December 7th – December 8th, 2009)

• A theme will be assigned and the 30 Pre-Finalists will be invited to give their own interpretation wearing any Alatiel Fashions clothing. Live auditions will take place at different times to meet everyone’s needs.

• A jury of professionals in SL fashion industry will judge you basing on your apparel, style, composition of outfit and interpretation of the assigned theme.

• The 5 models receiving the highest scores from the jury will be the official Alatiel Fashions Face Finalists and they will be announced on December 11th, 2009.

FINAL PHASE

• Alatiel Fashions Face 2010 will be a Representative for Alatiel Fashions and will work closely with Alatiel Malies, thus an interview with Alatiel will be scheduled for each finalist.

• FInalists will be invited to join the runway together with Alatiel Live Models to showcase the new winter releases by Alatiel Fashions during the Christmas Party in Piazza Italia, on December 22nd, 2009.

• Alatiel Fashions Face 2010 will be picked by Alatiel Malies and announced during the Christmas Party on December 22nd, 2009.

Models are needed. We are planning on 3 hour events at least 2x month. You will begin with a 4-6 minute performance (burlesque/bellydance/striptease) and remain in costume the whole time, nothing less than bra/pasties/panties. After the initial performance, you will vamp and vogue and pose for an appreciative group of artists in a semi-private bar setting, while the artists draw or paint.

Costumes, wings, wings, boots, props, corsets, tattoos, piercings and so on are not only allowed, they are ENCOURAGED. Please be female (or gorgeous drag queen), age 21-40. Must be reliable and prompt. Must be able to hold a pose for up to 20 minutes. You may be called back for ongoing work, parties and events also possible.
