Sew Down Nashville: FMQ and improvisational piecing + Winner

Sew Down Nashville was fantastic. Heather, Elizabeth and Jen, from The Modern Quilt Guild, organized the best weekend activity/conference, I have ever attended.

Blue Spring Rain - Quilting Update

I am officially over halfway done quilting Blue Spring Rain. But the backing is giving me MAJOR fits, so I have decided to become a crazy rebel – I’m quilting the second half of the quilt with the backing upright so that I stand a chance of fending off tucks. 278 more words

You + Me: Complete!

On Thursday after work I got the binding stitched down to the front of the You + Me quilt. I used a lot of the remaining fabric from the front for other projects, so I went with a scrappy binding. 225 more words
