Synopsis: Four field researchers want to go home. Unfortunately, one of them apparently lost his mind. Since the return is not possible as long as he remains in this state, they start a controversy about what to do with him. Where do they come back from and what was the object of their research, becomes a more and more important question.

Synopsis:  Johannes Krohn is a Berlin based Illustrator und musician. His film is an experiment. The subject – Metropolis – is approached equally by music and drawing. Krohn has aimed to take up the performative character of music and to make the emergence of a drawing – a reality – the core of his story. A day in life means in this case not a particular day in life, but rather the partial units of life that humans are able to grasp. Krohn juxtaposes this naïve view with the city and it’s smallest partial unit: The human, who cannot hold on or find an overview. Referring to «Symphony of a Metropolis» this work can be seen as «Folksong of a Metropolis.»

This is an amazing first book to The Lacey Chronicles!  I could not put it down, and finished in within two days.  As the other books in the series are already out in Europe I was lucky enough to get the chance to read them while I was in Europe over the summer.  It is a fabulous historical fiction book that takes place during 1582 in England.

The other books in the series are: The Queen’s Lady and The Rogue’s Princess

Entering the Point Races is easy! All ropers have to do is visit the sponsor section of matchroping.com each month, choose which Point Races they want to enter, click “Enter” and they are finished. From that date forward until the end of the month, a roper’s points will count towards each Point Race’s Standings. At the beginning of each month, the Point Races are reset and ropers can enter again.

Ropers receive points for every Speed’s Match Roping they enter and every match they win. The point structure is based on the amount of entry fees paid so the higher the entry fees, the more points a roper will receive. For every $50 a roper pays in entry fees, he/she receives 1 point for each entry, 1 point for each match he/she wins within the entire Match Roping, and 2 points for being the Match Roping champion.

McKnight accumulated the most points of any roper entering Speed’s Match Roping events for the month. He was awarded a custom-made Bob Berg championship belt buckle worth more than $300.

“Congratulations to Brett, he came out on top this month,” says Williams. “This Monthly Point Race is something I wanted to do for our ropers so they can to win more prizes during the year.”

The Speed’s Match Roping monthly point race won by McKnight is only one many races ropers can enter to win cash and prizes every month. Starting Oct. 1, there are 14 Sponsor Point Races available to enter that total almost $8,500 in cash and prizes.

“Ropers can enter as many as they qualify for, giving them a good chance to win thousands of dollars from just roping in their own backyard arena,” says Williams.

Each month, the Sponsor Point Race leaderboards reset, giving all ropers a level playing field on which to compete with other ropers from around the country. Points are earned by entering a Speed’s Match Roping sanctioned tournaments, winning individual matches during the tournament and double points for winning the entire roping.

Ropers can find ropings to enter, see results of ropings and track their points online at www.matchroping.com.

Speed’s Match Roping allows ropers to compete in single elimination tournaments that pit teams in head-to-head competition. It allows ropers to compete close to home and for small producers to hold ropings in their own backyard arenas.
