Seharusnya, ini adalah tulisan pendahulu dari tulisan “Transfer File dari Motorola L6 Ke Ubuntu dengan Bluetooth”. Namun tak apalah, nasi sudah digoreng. Enak!

Langkah pertama setelah muncul ikon bluetooth di panel bar sesaat setelah piranti bluetooth ditancap adalah seting preferensi. Klik kanan ikon bluetooth, pilih “Preferensi“.
Isi Friendly name sebagai nama/pengenal piranti. Contoh: alisya-desktop-0
Klik tombol + (tambah, add) di jendela preferensi Ubuntu.

Pastikan bluetooth HP menyala.
Klik Forward

Pilih piranti (contoh: Shb-Moto-L6)
Klik Forward

Ketika di HP ada notifikasi koneksi, jawab Yes
Isikan PIN di HP sesuai dg yg muncul di jendela Ubuntu. Contoh: 8721

Selamat!

Untuk mentransfer berkas:

1. Klik kanan ikon bluetooth, pilih Kirim berkas ke perangkat…
2. Pilih berkas yg akan ditransfer
3. Ketika di HP ada notifikasi pengiriman berkas, pilih Accept.

Transfer data (gambar, video, dll) dari Motorola L6 ke PC bisa melalui dua cara. Yg pertama adalah dg USB dan yg kedua adalah dg Bluetooth.

Kebetulan saya ada bluetooth yg bisa saya pasang di PC. Ubuntu langsung dapat mengenali device ini dan di panel bar muncul ikon bluetooth (gambar, kanan).

Untuk dapat transfer data dari HP ke Ubuntu, perlu install aplikasi “Bluetooth File Sharing”, nama paket: gnome-bluetooth . Silahkan install dari “Tambah/Hapus…” atau apt-get! Kemudian jalankan aplikasi tersebut. Maka akan muncul ikon Bluetooth File Sharing di panel bar (gambar, kiri).

Dari HP, pilih gambar (atau video, sound) yg akan ditransfer. Pilih menu “Move” atau “Copy”. Jika bluetooth HP belum diaktivkan maka akan muncul konfirmasi pengaktivan sementara, jawab: Yes.

Selanjutnya pilih menu [Look for devices], dan seharusnya HP menampilkan nama bluetooth yg di PC. Pilih dan Select. Maka gambar segera ditransfer ke Ubuntu.
