I have been wishing that June will never come as this is the month which my result is announced. I am seriously terrified of not getting the ‘DL’. I guess I will just wait and see and be panicky! I however started to forget what my wish is when I saw a movie trailer on Astro Ria. This is seriously a must-watch movie as I have read the novel back then when I was somewhere in between 12 or 13. That was like 10 years ago. I remember reading it at my grandma’s house. I got the novel from my aunt’s collection and since then I was an avid reader of his writings but I stopped at one point.

I opened the drawer of my desk and started searching a few of his ‘masterpieces’ and I found them. I did buy some of his works. Wee. I took one of the novels, entitled Katerina. This one is a continuation of Kasyah and Katerina love story after Ayu dies. Hmmph. I think I will just fall asleep reading this novel instead of finishing the one I am currently reading, The White Tiger.

p.s. It looks like Kasyah is the one who is waiting instead of Ayu.

This is one of many lines in ‘My Name is Khan’ that I love. I won’t elaborate much on the film but it is such a good inspirational movie by Karan Johar.

Shah Rukh Khan did a great job and nearly made me burst into tears. I love him, really.

This is one of my favourites.

This is a story of boy meets girl. The boy, Tom Hansen of Margate, New Jersey, grew up believing that he’d never truly be happy until the day he met the one. This belief stemmed from early exposure to sad British pop music and a total mis-reading of the movie ‘The Graduate’. The girl, Summer Finn of Shinnecock, Michigan, did not share this belief. Since the disintegration of her parent’s marriage she’d only love two things. The first was her long dark hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off and not feel a thing. Tom meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately she is who he has been searching for. This is a story of boy meets girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story.

The quotation above was taken from the movie itself. I am so in love with this movie. The first time I watched it, I didn’t really like it because it doesn’t have a happy ending. Hell, I don’t know why I even dozed off in the cinema. I’d like to believe I was too tired that day, hence it explains my wrong-judgement. Now that I have time I watched it again. Shall I say again and again? haha. It was like love at second sight. Duh! The first time you saw it, you didn’t like it but the second time, you feel like regretting the fact that you missed the chance to love it the first time you saw it.

There’s one part of the movie I really like. Where Tom’s expectations isn’t alligned with his reality

“I love her smile. I love her hair. I love her knees. I love how she licks her lips before she talks. I love her heart-shaped birthmark on her neck. I love it when she sleeps.” – Tom Hansen

This is in the beginning, where their friendship is just blossoming and the lines below, is when reality hits Tom Hansen.

I believe many of us have been in this position where you expect something but the reality turns the other way around. It hurts. It always happens to me. It sucks. It’s life. Haha.

I grew up believing that every plan for the future will somehow fall nicely into its places if I work hard enough and pray a lot but sometimes it doesn’t happen the way I want it to be. Maybe I didn’t work hard enough or pray a lot. I’d like to believe that maybe what I want isn’t necessarily good for me so God gives what I don’t want but is good for me instead. That is why I am always looking for a blessing in disguise, or any resemblance to what is called ‘blessing’. It is all divine intervention. It is all predetermined by God.

I am optimistic in life (blame it on my counselor mom. haha) but sometimes my optimism would’t help much in certain circumstances. Sometimes it pains me because I expect too much of myself. So I would like to take things easy and live my life to the fullest. I am also looking for a companion who is willing to live our lives to the fullest rather than putting too much expectations on each other. So what’s your take? Anybodeeee?

I am talking about this guy actually. Eric Dane. I’d prefer to call him as McSteamy

I went to watch Valentine’s Day yesterday and one of the cast members who I anticipated to see is him. It turned out that he is gay, only in the movie though. I couldn’t really guess what will actually happen but a pakcik k who tagged along exclaimed that he knew it. I didn’t see it coming but when the scene where Eric Dane is sleeping and his boyfriend comes from his back shocks me and I was like, eeeeeeeeewww! Haha. So did the reaction from another girl friend of mine. Haha. I can still recall the look Eric Dane gives at him. Darn it.

Enough bout him. Over all I enjoyed the movie and as the pakcik k would describe it as soppy. We went out and spent our time chatting and laughing our heart loud. This is what I call it as friendship. Not the so-called relationship you can fake it on the social networking site. It sucks. I am sorry I just could not handle some of my fake friends la.

My post doesn’t have anything to do with Italy nor spring. Before this I was already familiar with Primavera but my schema was only limited to one of the leading brands for footwear. Hee. Well I’m just a normal girl who loves shoes.

Okay, coming back to my intention to write this.

I thought I was gonna put “be careful with what you wish for” but I changed my mind. I wanted to write about this particular guy, a friend of mine. Our friendship is blossoming since the day we went out. It started yesterday that we text each other on regular basis. I was shocked beyond words yesterday when I got my test result so I texted him. I even told him I don’t know why I need to tell him that.

I texted him this evening because I needed my friend’s phone number and from just asking for the number we extended the ‘chat’. Then I told him my plan for this Friday. I will be going to celebrate my birthday alone because I don’t have anyone to ask for to accompany me. I wanted to watch this one movie, but then cannot help but feeling to go alone. So he came into rescue! He will accompany me. It is just a platonic friendship. I am looking forward to celebrate my birthday because of this movie. Please don’t let me down ohh Valentine’s Day!

I can watch this movie over and over again and its one of my favourites. This part I embed is the funniest part of this movie and it cracks me up every time I watch it. So what’s up with the title? There was one stage in my life where I vowed not to get into any relationship with any guy but in the end I just gave in to my vow because it felt right to do so. I think someone just cannot resist the temptation of being in love. Wanting to be loved is a human nature though the ‘love’ could be in any forms, as long as it can be felt than that’s what makes your life worth living.

So, for every couples out there I strongly suggest you to watch this. Surprise your partner with a bouquet of flowers and spend your time on the couch watching this together. Don’t go out and publicly display your affection towards each other because you will make me envious. Haha.

And to Mister F,

Pardon me if I bore you though. This is what I love to do and if you cannot cope with me and my boring, endless stories, I cannot do anything lah. I cannot post on something which I think might interest you. If you feel bored, remember that I might feel the same way but to blatantly voice it out hurts me.
