Cole, Empire City denilen ve üç adadan oluşan bir şehirde kuryelik yaparak yaşamını sürdürmektedir. Bu rutin hayatı günün birinde teslimatını yapmak üzere aldığı bir paketin infilak edip, bu büyük patlamanın etkisiyle altı bloğun çökmesi sonucu değişir. Paketi elinde tutan Cole olmasına rağmen, patlamadan yaralı olarak kurtulur ve bu olay sonucunda bazı doğa üstü güçlere sahip olur. Cole, artık elektriğe hükmetmektedir. İstediği an herhangi bir elektrik kaynağından kendini şarj edip, topladığı elektriği düşmanlarını öldürmek veya saf dışı bırakmak için kullanabileceğini öğrenmesi fazla zamanını almayacaktır.

Fakat bir problem vardır. Empire City halkı, patlamadan “terörist” Cole’u sorumlu tutmaktadır. İşin kötüsü, Cole’un sevgilisi Trish de bu şekilde düşünmektedir. Üstelik patlama sırasında kızkardeşini de kaybetmiştir Trish. Patlama sonrasında şehirde oluşan kaos sırasında, sokak çeteleri ortaya çıkmış, masum insanları öldürür ve yağma yapar hale gelmişlerdir. Polis ve diğer güvenlik güçleri olayları önlemede yetersiz kalmaktadır. Kısacası Empire City’de tam bir kaos ortamı yaşanmaktadır. Bunun üzerine güvenlik güçleri şehri oluşturan adaların birbirleriyle bağlantısını kesmiş ve Empire City’yi karantina altına almıştır. Şehri oluşturan adalardan biri olan ve aynı zamanda patlamanın da yaşandığı bölge olan Neon’da da Cole ve yakın arkadaşı Zeke de kapalı kalmıştır.

Olaylarda arkadaşının masum olduğuna inanan yakın arkadaşı Zeke’in önerisiyle, karantinayı aşıp diğer bir adaya geçmek teşebbüsünde bulunan Cole, bu sırada FBI tarafından yakalanır. Bayan FBI ajanı Moya tarafından sorgusu yapılan Cole, olayda hiçbir suçu olmamasına rağmen, Moya’nın yaptığı teklifi kabul edecektir. Moya, Cole’un güçlerini kullanarak Ray Sphere adındaki mavi küreyi ve eski eşi John’u bulması karşılığında ismini temize çıkarma garantisi vermiştir. Cole, bu teklifi hemen kabul eder ve Empire City’nin ilk adası Neon’dan başlayarak, sürekli cep telefonu ve GPS ile irtibatta olduğu Moya’nın dediklerini yapmaya başlar.

Buraya kadar kısaca hikayesini anlatmaya çalıştığım bir film değil. Sucker Punch tarafından sadece Playstation 3 için geliştirilen “Infamous” adlı bir konsol oyunu. Yaklaşık son bir aydır aralıksız hergün saatlerce oynadığım bu oyun, herşeyden önce derin hikayesiyle ve sonrasında kendimi bir bireyi gibi hissettiğim şehir kurgusu nedeniyle beni kendine bağladı.

Oyundaki kahramanımız Cole, oyun sırasında bazı durumlarda verdiği kararlarla ya halkın kahramanı ya da rezil bir adam olma yolunda ilerlemektedir. Burada kararları tabi ki Cole adına oyuncu vermektedir. Eğer güçlerini Moya’nın istediklerini yapmakla birlikte halka karşı kullanırsa Infamous yani rezil, halk adına kullanırsa da kahraman olacaktır. Kahraman olduğu takdirde halkın sevgisini kazanacak olan Cole, bunun karşılığını sokaktaki herkes tarafından gösterilen sevgiyle alacaktır. Aksi takdirde halk, tıpkı şehri kasıp kavuran çetelere olduğu gibi, Cole’a da kinini belli edecektir.

Oyunda ilerledikçe Cole, hükmettiği elektriği çok çeşitli şekillerde kullabilme kabiliyetini kazanıyor. Binaların üstünde çatıda çatıya uçabiliyor, elektrik bombaları atabiliyor, tren rayları üzerinde bir tren gibi kayıyor ve yeri göğü yarabiliyor.

Kahramanımız Cole, bütün şehri çetelerden kurtarıp, Moya’nın söylediklerini yaptığı takdirde gelinen oyunun sonunda bizleri tıpkı M.Night Shyamalan’ın filmlerindekine benzer sürpriz bir son beklemektedir.

Uzun yıllardır, beni gecelerce konsol başına bağlayan bir oyun olmadığından, “Infamous” ile ilgili bu yazıyı yazıp, sizleri haberdar etmek istedim bu ay. Eğer oyunu hala oynamadıysanız, en azından sonundaki sürpriz sahneleri görmek için bile oynayın diyorum. Oyunda mevcut olan iyi ve kötü yönde takdir hakkı ile en az iki kez oynanmayı hakeden “Infamous” bence Playstation’un en iyilerinden.

Quedar segon a la Lliga és un fracàs? Si ets el Reial Madrid, sí; si ets el Sevilla, per exemple, no. I treure un 44 % de vots? Si ets ZP a les generals, no; si ets Rosa Estaràs a les autonòmiques, sí (46 %), sobretot si tenim en compte com ha acabat la cosa.

    Aprovar tot per Juny és un fracàs? No; a no ser que siguis alumne de 2n Batxiller i aprovis Selectivitat amb un cinquet que no et bastarà per fer l’Enginyeria que tu vols. Per tant, queda clar que això del fracàs és bastant relatiu.

   En principi, fracassar és no tenir èxit. Però això de l’èxit tampoc no és fàcil de definir; segons el diccionari, és una “manera bona o dolenta de sortir un afer, una empresa, un esdeveniment, algun negoci…”, “sortir” perquè “èxit” ve del llatí ‘exire’, eixir.

   És ver que alguns fracassats ens resulten tan atractius, o més, que els personatges més exitosos de la història o de l’actualitat, i serà a ells a qui dedicarem aquesta col·laboració que començam al programa Tassa i Mitja d’IB3 Ràdio, de Noemí Garcies. Així, qualque dia haurem de parlar dels Òscars de Hollywood i descobrirem que el director més nominat (William Wyler, 12) i el més premiat (John Ford, 4) no varen ser mai tan populars entre el públic de l’època daurada del cinema com Alfred Hitchcock (nominat per la seva direcció –no premiada– a Psicosi, La finestra indiscreta, Recorda, Lifeboat, i Rebecca). 

   Però si es tracta de fracassar, per ventura el personatge que millor simbolitza la paradoxa de passar a la història per un fracàs, a pesar d’haver guanyat dos campionats mundials de rallies (1990 i 1992), és el pilot Carlos Sainz, ben conegut, per cert, a la Costa dels Pins (Mallorca): ha estat el que més ral·lis del mundial ha disputat, el 2n que més victòries (26) ha obtingut, el que més podis ha aconseguit, i el que ha guanyat un nombre de ral·lis diferents.

   Bé, idò res d’això no tendrà rellevància per al comú dels mortals, que sempre recordarà aquell malaguanyat episodi quan Sainz va perdre el campionat del món (1998) a 500 metres del final de l’últim tram de l’últim ral·li, en trencar-se-li una biela. Aquest moment (“trata de arrancarlo, por Dios!”) va ser captat per totes les càmeres de televisió, ja que el primer que passàs la línia de meta en aquest últim tram es proclamaria campió, en un mundial en què diversos corredors tenien oportunitats fins a l’última etapa. Un episodi trist que va donar lloc, paradoxalment, a una divertida campanya publicitària protagonitzada per Luis Moya, copilot de Carlos Sainz en aquella cursa.

So why read another blog listing women of Sci Fi? We the females of fandom can pretty much name the top 10 Women of Science Fiction without really thinking. There are a ton of lists that are generated around on the interwebs, always putting Ripley from Aliens at the top, Buffy Summers within the top 5 and 3 Battlestar Galactica characters (usually Starbuck, Laura Roslin and Number 6) are thrown in at random. We knows these lists because we’ve seen these shows before and learned to love the characters.

But at the same time, this can leave a fangirl pretty bored. While these women are the best of the best, there are tons of other shows that are not as well known which offer equally as enthralling female characters. So for those rainy days where you’re looking for a new series to delve into, I hope you’ll look to some of these lesser known but still amazing shows.

As a result, I present…

The Top 5 Kick Ass Women of Sci-Fi You’ve Never Heard Of (but you should totally check out)!

5. Jaime Sommers (The Bionic Woman)

NOW WAIT! Before everyone gets all flustered and upset and twists their hello kitty panties in a rather uncomfortable bunch, I am referring to the 1970’s Bionic Woman, not the remake. The original Bionic Woman was a spinoff of the very popular show, The Six Million Dollar Man. Jaime Sommers was a tennis pro at the top of her game when a tragic skydiving accident with beau Steve Austin left her all but dead, until Steve begged the government to accept her into the OSI and make her a bionic super agent. The show itself is cute and fun, like a combination of Charlie’s Angels and Six Million. Often an episode consists of Jaime being kidnapped and using her bionic abilities to escape. Slightly predictable, but still badass. Its got that 70’s kick ass “girl power” kind of theme to it. Sommers is a self dependent, confident woman, working as a school teacher as well as, you know, a robot super agent. The villains are slightly campy (there is an episode where the antagonist owns a hair salon and extracts information from OSI Agents using a truth serum shampoo), but overall it is just a fun show to watch. I recommend this show if you’re feeling a little girly.

4. Doctor Girlfriend (The Venture Brothers)

Doctor Girlfriend is slowly rising in popularity (predominantly due to the over saturation of cosplayers) but still a lot of fangirls are unaware of her awesomeness. Sexy and smart, Doctor Girlfriend actually takes a very intellectual journey throughout the three seasons of The Venture Brothers, becoming more than just a Number 2 to the men in the arch-villainy world. She is strong, confident and very recognizable by her Jackie O style and a smoker’s voice that will scare the piss out of small children and puppies. Her storyline is not unlike many modern women’s stories. Trying to get on her own two feet in the field of costumed aggression, she is constantly intellectually put down in favor of her sexuality, something she works very hard to overcome and eventually she succeeds. This show is remarkably fun and entertaining, based stylistically around the old Jonny Quest cartoon show (horray for super science!). I do recommend trying to watch the episodes in order. They seem stand alone-y, but they’re not, so you’ll get a better experience by starting at S1E1 and just plowing through.

3. Moya (Farscape)

Now, I mention Farscape because while it has a high concentration of 1990’s viewers, (also known as a cult), many of the more recent fangirls have merely heard of it in passing. Also, I did not pick the traditional choice for badass women when it comes to this show, but bear with me, I promise I have my evil plotworthy reasoning. When often we think of the female heroine in Science Fiction, we often look to towards human or human like creatures. If there were a “most underrated sci fi females” list, Moya would be at the top. Moya is a living spaceship from a race called Leviathans. Playing the ultimate mother figure, both figuratively and physically, she takes care of the crew living within her, as well as being an active member of of the crew herself. If Moya wants to do something, she does it, and the crew is along for the ride. She is just as emotionally in tune as the rest of the characters on the show, and shows incredible strength and bravery on endless occasions. If you want to see a really cool 90’s generation space opera as well as some pretty cool Jim Henson Co. puppets, I recommend checking out Moya in Farscape.

2. The Companions (Doctor Who)

Technically you could call me a cheater for this because the companions consist of three separate women from the modern Doctor Who series. However they all intermingle so well I am lumping them in as one for the sake of comparison. Let me explain. With their powers combined, the new companions, Rose Tyler, Martha Jones and Donna Noble make up the heart, mind and soul of David Tennant’s 10th Doctor in his regeneration of the oldest science fiction show on the air, the BBC’s Doctor Who. These three women travel through time and space with the Doctor at various times, proving time and time again to be saviors of the human race. While the Doctor is the lord of all space and time, these women provide anchorage and a sense of humanity to the Doctor that is often quite touching and beautiful. Rose Tyler was the young woman who went from working in a shop to becoming Defender of the Earth and the love of the Doctor’s life. After losing her, Martha Jones becomes the brains behind his sorrow, helping to put him back on a logical path of life. After her it was Donna Noble, the spunky redhead who helped the Doctor to laugh again. Having all three of them in his life has been a large part of what has made David Tennant’s 10th Doctor so successful. They aren’t the gun-toting, kung-fu kicking bassasses you would normally expect from a sci-fi show, but they still are able to kick some serious intergalactic British ass.  This is a charming show and remarkably brilliant. I highly recommend getting your hands on it. It is about to gain a new Doctor and new companion starting this Christmas, but that gives you plenty of time to catch up and be ready for the premiere!

And last, but certainly not least…

1. Gwen Cooper (Torchwood)

A Spinoff from Doctor Who, Torchwood represents the last line of defense the earth has in case of disaster (mostly in case the Doctor can’t be there). Separate from the government, the Torchwood facility is a gun toting alien hunting crew, and since they’re human (for the most part), they are as fallible as you or I. The beauty of the character of Gwen Cooper is that when you start watching the show, you do not like her. “But wait… how does this make her the number one badass I’ve never heard of?”, you may ask. The reason you do not like Gwen Cooper at first is because she is one of the most real characters you will see on modern television. Very much like Battlestar’s Kara “Starbuck” Thrace, Gwen is a scared and flawed individual. Unlike Starbuck, who makes up for her flaws by being one of the best assets the fleet has in times of war, Gwen is thrown into an organization that is quite frankly, over her head and she needs to learn FAST. She makes mistakes, she cheats on her boyfriend (a lot), and almost gets the team killed a few times. Ultimately, Gwen Cooper is a real person. She is not the fantasy bad ass we’re all so used to. She doesn’t have special powers of any kind; no military training or alien/robot parts to enhance her badassery. It is the same as if you or I were asked to pick up a gun and be the last line of defence between the planet and oblivion. But what she does have, which puts heris her humanity. And as a result it means so much more when she becomes a fighter and a badass. We see her real struggle and journey in Torchwood as she fights tooth and nail not just against the alien threat, but against losing herself as well. She tries to maintain a normal life in the real modern world of 2009, while keeping these secrets from friends and family and putting her life on the line in defence of the Earth on a daily basis. When the season 3 miniseries event, Children of Earth, premiered not too long ago, Gwen Cooper had become the bad ass, take charge individual who you want to yell awesome things at your TV for. When she feels pain and horror, you feel it with her. When she feels joy, so do you. Torchwood starts out a little sci-fi-soap-opera-esque (BBC essentially wanted to make it Doctor Who: After Dark, if you get my drift), but it cool and interesting. The Children of Earth miniseries event was possibly one of the most terrifying, heart-wrenching things I have ever seen on television. I recommend watching at least the first series of the newest Doctor Who season (to help for tie in purposes), but watch it. The build is well worth it, and it will knock your socks off.

O jogo entre Manchester United e Valência me deu essa certeza. o goleiro Moyá, contratado pelo Valencia junto ao Mallorca, finalmente fez sua estreia, mas… jogando de volante! É que Unai Emery já havia feito suas dez alterações quando o lateral-esquerdo Thiago Carleto se machucou. Ou o time seguia jogando com dez, ou Emery, técnico dos espanhói usava o único que não tinha entrado ainda: o goleiro Moyá!

A Cape Town hotel’s passion for indigenous flora creates indulgent treats for guests and visitors.

The sea glimmers and shines on my right.  The towering mountains march along the coast to my left.  The day is hot and the backs of my legs stick to the leather of the car seats.  I can taste coconut suntan lotion and cherry fizz pops.  And underneath it all, I smell the loamy green perfume of hot fynbos.

These are the childhood memories of summer, driving along Victoria Road to Llandudno beach.  It’s along this stretch of Cape Town shoreline that the 12 Apostles Hotel and Spa was controversially developed around 1995, much to the frustration of locals, who feared it would open the pristine mountain to rampant development. Named for the range that curves behind it, the Hotel takes full advantage of those elements that make my childhood memories so vivid; sun, sea and, most recently; fynbos. The restaurant, Azure, and hotel Spa have both capitalised on the over 6000 species of indigenous plants that are found on these mountains alone, just a small part of the Cape Floral kingdom.

Executive Chef Robert de Carvalho, a first generation South African with strong Portuguese roots, is still very much hands on in the 12 Apostles kitchen.  He tells me the idea for his “Cooking with Fynbos” menu came from walking the rocky heath-land of the mountain and wondering whether the fragrant local plants that grow there could be used in the hotel kitchens.  He started to investigate and experiment and subsequently worked closely with a Stellenbosch University botanist to discover which plants would work best and how to prepare them.

The result is a three course seasonal feast, featuring dishes infused with the wild flavours of some 20 fynbos varieties, all tended and harvested responsibility from the slopes of the mountain which make up the hotel’s grounds.  De Carvalho completes the local theme by ensuring that the other ingredients he uses are either local delicacies or sourced from local suppliers.  Naturally, each course is matched with local wines.

I was lucky enough to enjoy the menu at the nautically themed Azure, overlooking the Atlantic in another of its iconic states; a typical stormy winter evening.  On Chef’s suggestion, I started with the sweet potato, corn, wild garlic (Tulbughia capensis) and pepperdew fritters, served with baby marrow, mango chutney and a pineapple,  red onion and geranium (Pelargonium betulinum) salsa.  The sweet, tart salsa was a perfect match to the crunchy and delicately flavoured fritters.

For mains, I (over) indulged in the Springbok shank, wrapped in Morogo (Amaranthus hybridus) and smoked bacon served with stywepap and roasted butternut, with a wild rosemary (Eriocephalus africanus) Namaqua brandy sauce. The meal was finished with delicious Melktert Phyllo Parcels, lightly baked and served with a honeybush (Cyclopia intermedia) and buchu (Agathosma-crenata) ice cream and fresh strawberries.

What made the evening really special was the arrival of the sorbet between the first and second courses.  The palette cleansing ice was served on a platter overflowing with foaming, rolling mist, turning our table into a corner of magic.  I actually clapped my hands with delight. (I’m such a sucker for dry ice).

De Carvalho says his menu is equally popular with local and international guests, but he says the later are more inquisitive about the ingredients.  In response to numerous requests, he now hosts a cooking course for guests interested in finding, preparing and using fynbos in cooking, although this apparently needs to be arranged with the banqueting manager well in advance.

The Spa, part of The Sanctuary Group, has also included fynbos in its treatments.  Built as though carved from the mountain itself, the soothing subterranean retreat uses Moya products as one of the staples of their offer.

I was pampered with a bone-melting, full body massage using a Cape Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) based treatment, apparently known for its detoxifying and calming properties.  The massage, which included a hair mask and facial treatment, left me feeling like some kind of chilled out scented goddess.  Although I had to deal with the amusement of friends when I then headed out to dins with my heavily oiled coiffeur, unwilling to sacrifice the benefits of the oils for an early shower.

I’m most definitely a fynbos disciple.

     I enjoyed Assassin’s Creed so much that when a similar, sandbox sort of video game came out, I jumped on top of it.  Well, actually, the game that looked more like Assassin’s Creed, Prototype, wasn’t as good, but inFamous had superpowers, so I figured it would be a winner.  It’s about a poor bike messenger named Cole McGrath living in a fictional city called Empire City.  A package that he has to deliver ends up blowing up in his face, destroying a huge chunk of the city.  Power goes out, and a plague begins to ravage the city, so the government sets up a quarantine.  And Cole develops electricity-related powers, like Static.  Cole interacts with various other characters, including his pal Zeke, his ex-girlfriend Trish, and an FBI agent named Moya, as well as various superpowered gangs fighting over Empire City, which are led by the seductive Sasha, the old and bitter Alden, and the mysterious Kessler.  Over the course of the fighting, he can, depending the player, became a famous hero, or an infamous villain.

     So, you can run around Empire City, hopping across rooftops, using your electrity to zap, bombard, or slam into various enemies.  Or you can just punch them.  The game functions kind of like an FPS, except with electrity instead of guns.  And you can choose whether or not you kill anyone, which is nice.  Electricity is potentially less lethal than bullets.  You go around the city helping people, beating up bad guys, restoring power, and completing various other missions.  Crucial to the game is the Karma system, which determines what kinds of powers you receive as time goes on.  If you do good things, people like you more, and you get good powers.  If you do bad things (like kill people), people will run away from you or throw things at you, and you get evil powers.  Red electricity powers (Star Wars, anyone?).  You can glide, zap people, throw electricity grenades, toss objects, and even summon lightning storms.

     This is a really fun game with great gameplay and a highly compelling story.  The Karma system is a brilliant way of allowing people to pick their own path, though ultimately, either way, you end up having to make one decision that results in one of the most shocking and visceral twists in gaming (think Aerith Gainsborough).  The gameplay is quite intuitive, and you’ll pick up on how to use new powers really fast.  Certain missions can be hard, but for the most part, the difficulty curve is quite reasonable.  You may have to do some missions over, but the game’s auto-save function means that you may not even have to repeat a whole mission.  The characters are extremely interesting too, though the acting isn’t exactly the best I’ve ever heard.  Cole kind of sounds like Christian Bale’s Batman, and Zeke gets on your nerves a bit quickly.  I was happy to hear Jessica Strauss as Sasha, though, which I totally called, by the way.  The game’s cinematics look like comic book pages, which can be annoying at first, though they grow on you quickly.  And the graphics aren’t perfect, especially with faces, which often look twitchy.  But the backgrounds and actual city look great.  It’s fast-paced if you follow the story missions only, but it can also be slow and fun if you want to go around and clean up Empire City a block at a time.  So it’s your choice to be a hero or a villain.  But this is a great sandbox video game that’s one of the most fun Playstation 3 games of 2009.  If you own a PS3, it would be criminal of  you not to get this game.

También podremos visitar la iglesia que acoge a la Virgen de la  Candelaria cuya festividad principal,aparte de la de San Antonio que se celebra el 13 de junio,se festeja el 2 de febrero.

El municipio de Moya posee una gran belleza paisajística entre las que cabe destacar el Barranco Azuaje,entre los municipios de Moya y Firgas,Los Tiles y Barranco Oscuro entre Moya y Valleseco.

Estos tres lugares forman parte del Parque Rural de Doramas que abarca 3586 hectáreas y comprende los municipios de Moya,Valleseco,Firgas,Santa Mª de Guía,Arucas y Teror.

Y ustedes se preguntarán quién era Doramas.El parque debe su nombre a este héroe aborigen el cual se enfrentó a los conquistadores y fué derrotado y muerto por Pedro de Vera.

Si Arucas es conocida por su ron,Firgas por su agua mineral,Moya, no iba a ser menos, es conocida por su repostería tradicional,los bizcochos de Moya,los suspiros,roscos de limón,bollos de anís.

Y para aquellos amantes de la naturaleza existen alojamientos rurales de arquitectura tradicional ya sea en el casco de la villa como en las afueras.

Tal y como se puede ver en la página del Mallorca, Miguel ángel Moyá y el Mallorquinsmo (representado por la federación de peñas) se han escrito cartas de despedida y agradecimiento mutuamente. Más allá de lo emotiva que le pueda parecer a cada uno (a mi la de Moyá me ha parecido muy bonita), es de agradecer que un jugador que se va del club se tome la molestia en dedicar unas palabras de agradecimiento a la que ha sido su afición estos años.

Aquí la carta de Moyá hacia la afición:

“Hasta siempre

Ya estoy en Valencia. He sido presentado como nuevo jugador de uno de los clubes más importantes de España, y comienza de esta forma una nueva etapa para mí. Atrás dejo muchos años vistiendo la camiseta del Mallorca, primero en las categorías inferiores y más tarde como jugador del primer equipo. Han sido unos años inolvidables, en los que he crecido como futbolista y también como persona. Nunca habría podido llegar hasta aquí, ni habría disfrutado del privilegio de jugar con las categorías inferiores de la selección española sino hubiera sido por el trabajo constante y también por la apuesta que un día hizo el club por mí.

No quiero dar nombres en la hora del adiós, porque seguro que me dejaría a muchos, aunque sí debo mencionar a Gregorio Manzano, quien no en vano ha sido mi entrenador durante la mayor parte de mi carrera como futbolista en Primera división.

Ahora que comienzo una nueva etapa quiero, por encima de todo, agradecer el apoyo y el cariño que siempre me ha dado la afición del Mallorca. Hay quien dirá que es fría, pero conmigo siempre se han portado a las mil maravillas, y hay momentos, como aquél de la temporada pasada en el que el estadio coreó mi nombre mientras calentaba, que NUNCA olvidaré. Desde luego que si este año tengo la suerte de jugar en el ONO Estadi será para mí una sensación muy extraña. Pero deseo de todo corazón que las cosas vayan lo mejor posible para el equipo y para el club que representa nuestras islas.

Valencia queda cerquita de Mallorca, aunque seguro que echaré de menos a tantos amigos, y especialmente a mi familia, sin los cuales no habría podido cumplir mi sueño de ser futbolista de Primera división. Una vez más, un millón de gracias a todos los que habéis estado conmigo durante estos años, y mucha suerte.”

Eres con toda seguridad el jugador que ostenta el record de asistencias a los aniversarios e inaguraciones de peñas. Gracias amigo por no tener nunca un “no”.

Desde hace varios días se viene anunciando en la prensa que el Mallorca y el Valencia ya han llegado a un acuerdo para el traspaso de Moyá al club Valenciano. Según barajan los medios, el Mallorca exigía seis millones de euros, y el Valencia ofrecía cuatro, de manera que el acuerdo fué sencillo y el montante de la operación se cerrará en cinco millones.

Finalmente, al contrario de lo que muchos pensábamos, David Navarro no ha entrado en la operación, y es que, probablemente en la cúpula valencianista ya se estaban cubriendo las espaldas por la posible salida de Albiol hacia tierras madrileñas (como así ha sido).

Lo cierto es que ya llevan dos días dándole vueltas al fichaje de Moyá por el Valencia, pero lo cierto es que no ha acabado de concretarse y eso me lleva a pensar en dos posibles porqués, o bien el Valencia espera a tener liquidez con la venta de Albiol, o bien el agente del jugador o el Mallorca están retrasando la operación a la espera de algún otro posible comprador, mal asunto en ese caso, porque si se tensa demasiado la cuerda puede acabar rompiendose. En cualquier caso, creo que ha faltado habilidad en la negociación con el Valencia, en su plantilla les sobran muchos jugadores como Moretti, Hugo Viana, Edu o Sunny que podrían haber entrado en la operación (¿quizás alguna cesion con opción de compra?). Sea com fuere, el acuerdo anunciado es de cinco millones de euros y todo indica que es cuestión de tiempo el que este acuerdo se fructifique con la firma de un contrato, con lo que nos dejaría en plantilla a dos porteros en el primer equipo (Aouate y Lux) y otros dos en el filial (Nauzet y Nadal).

¿Será Lux el próximo portero en salir del equipo? Según parece, River no vería con malos ojos una vuelta del jugador a su disciplina, y dado el rendimiento que ha ofrecido en Mallorca, lo mejor sería darle la carta de libertad y permitir a Nauzet ocupar su plaza en el primer equipo.

EDITO: Según me comentan desde Valencia, finalmente se ha cerrado el acuerdo en 5 millones +1 por objetivos.

Moyá y Lux en un entrenamiento

Si hay una línea en la que el Mallorca a día de hoy puede presumir de contar con efectivos de verdaderas garantías sin duda se trata de la portería. A falta de que se produzcan ventas ya cantadas, la nómina de porteros del primer equipo la forman Miguel Angel Moyá, Dudú Aouate y Germán Darío Lux, tres porteros con experiencia internacional, puesto que han cubierto las porterías de sus respectivas selecciones. Cualquier equipo fimaría tener tres porteros de este nivel compitiendo por un puesto, pero lo que puede parecer un privilegio para cualquier entrenador, se convierte en un problema cuando el técnico ha de elegir un solo jugador que acaparará la gran mayoría de los minutos de juego, puesto que el de portero es un puesto demasiado específico y que exige la continuidad en el juego.

Tener a Moyá o a Aouate en el banquillo es desperdiciar las cualidades de un gran guardameta. El Mallorquín es todo agilidad y espectacularidad, un clon de Casillas y potencial candidato a un puesto en la selección española, mientras que el Israelí, serenidad y experiencia, es un seguro para cualquier equipo que cuente con sus servicios. El tercero en discordia, “el Poroto” Lux se ha visto perjudicado por errores puntuales y varios años de inactividad, pero aún así, se ha mostrado como un buen portero a lo largo de su carrera. Tres jugadores de experiencia y garantías que opositan para un puesto. Es seguro que Moyá se marchará este verano, y además es posible que Lux despierte el interés de algún equipo de su país. El club ha de planificarlo todo al detalle, si el equipo se queda sólo con tres porteros puede acabar pagando cualquier contrariedad, como lo ha hecho esta temporada con la lesión de Moyá. Tres porteros pueden ser demasiados para una platilla que no sufre tanta carga de partidos, y dos podrían no ser suficientes si la mala suerte llamase de nuevo a nuestras puertas.
Por si fueran poco los tres guardametas con los que contamos en el primer equipo, en las últimas semanas hemos descubierto que en el segundo equipo también tenemos garantías bajo los palos. La extraordinaria eliminatoria completada por Nauzet ante el Real Oviedo ha propiciado que todos nos fijemos en el guardameta canario fichado esta temporada del Fuerteventura. Con 24 años, una gran envergadura y mucha valentía está llamando con fuerza a las puertas del primer equipo, y si sigue sorprendiendo con actuaciones de tal nivel va a ser difícil mantenérselas cerradas mucho tiempo. En segundo orden nos topamos con Tomeu Nadal, otro guardameta de la casa, muy joven aún (en Febrero cumplió 20 años), pero indiscutible hasta la llegada de Nauzet, un relevo para la portería mallorquina de cara al futuro que disfruta de sus convocatorias con la selección en categorías inferiores. Por último, la gran promesa de la cantera bermellona, Javier Seral, hasta esta temporada jugador juvenil, viene desde hace un tiempo levantando expectación con su prometedor futuro. Como comentábamos anteriormente, la planificación debe ser cuidadosa y con vistas al futuro, Nauzet, si confirma su progresión, tendrá que tener un hueco en la primera plantilla en un futuro próximo, mientras que Nadal y Seral son los destinados a ocupar la portería de Mallorca b, dos opciones que requieren una decisión estudiada, y que son dos cancerberos de gran futuro y ambos tienen la necesidad de adquirir experiencia y minutos.
