After having a lovely breakfast on our friend’s front porch, it was time to run a few errands. Mike and Bev were nice enough to drive us to the big shopping area, where we hit up the pet store (doggie pill pockets for giving Trixie her thyroid pills), the drug store (high-back sand chairs to take to the Newport Folk Festival), and the sunglass store (to replace my sunglasses which were so scratched up I couldn’t see out of them). 160 more words

I climbed Mount Washington!

What an eventful trip last Sunday! I, along with some very close people to me, all made it up and down MT. Washington! 4 1/2 hours up, and about the same going down, our muscles were sore for days, it hurt to walk around my own apartment, and I even got dehydrated so bad that I threw up out the car door on our way back… how awkward. 71 more words
