Romanticizing the past

The traditional newspapers and print media dynasties of the past were formal, reserved, and some may argue, averse to change. Reading about the Sulzbergers and the Ochs of the New York Times, I can almost picture them like a royal family passing down the kingdom of the newspaper and the orderly news room with each passing decade. 442 more words
