Fenomena game online sebagai gaya hidup di berbagai belahan dunia saat ini cukup mencengangkan. Aktivitas bermain game online disinyalir dapat mengalahkan keberadaan situs-situs pertemanan popular seperti Facebook, Twitter, Friendster dan Multiply, maupun website yang menyediakan video online.

Kegemaran orang bermain games juga tidak terlepas dari inovasi dan penyempurnaan produk yang dilansir para vendor konsol games.

Nintendo Wii
Jika ada konsole games yang mampu mengubah paradigma bermain games secara revolusioner adalah Nintendo Wii jawabannya. Selama ini orang bermain games, secara fisik, cenderung pasif dan statis menatap monitor. Tapi dengan hadirnya Nintendo Wii, orang jadi lebih dinamis, atratif dan berkeringat saat bermain games. Maklum saja, konsole games satu ini memang sangat mengandalkan sensor gerak sang pemain. Misalnya kita bermain golf, tenis atau bowling, maka gerakan-gerakan yang dilakukan oleh pemain selayaknya kita bermain olahraga tersebut dengan gerakan sebenarnya.

Belakangan, vendor asal Jepang itu melansir versi terbaru yang diberi nama Wii Fit Plus. Konsol ini memungkinkan pengguna untuk berkompetisi dengan lawan main melalui internet. Selain itu, sejumlah game bisa dijadikan media berolahraga yang bisa meningkatkan kesehatan tubuh dengan cara bermain. Wii Fit Plus memiliki fitur lebar bahu “balance board” yang bisa digunakan untuk memonitor berat badan dan bisa dimanfatakan untuk beragam latihan olahraga dan variasi game. Seri game terbaru ini lebih memiliki ketepatan dalam pengukuran, sehingga bisa dipergunakan untuk memonitor tingkat kesehatan seseorang dengan lebih akurat.

Wii berbunyi seperti “We” yang menekankan bahwa console berharga sekitar 2,5 juta rupiah ini adalah untuk semua orang. Wii sangat mudah untuk diingat oleh orang-orang diseluruh dunia, apapun bahasa mereka. Tidak akan ada kebingungan. Wii sudah menjadi konsol paling favorit atau disukai oleh generasi remaja saat ini, terjual lebih dari 50 juta unit dan menjadikannya contoh bagi Sony dan Microsoft untuk menerapkan teknologi sensor gerak pada stiknya masing-masing.

Sony PSP GO
Salah satu produsen konsol game yang paling produktif dan inovatif saat ini adalah Sony dengan produknya PlayStation atau PS. Sejak kali pertama diperkenalkan PS sudah memaski generasi ketiga. Untuk variannya selain PS, ada PlayStation Portable dan PlayStation Portable GO. Varian terakhir dilurncurkan untuk menandingi popularitas pesaingnya yaitu Nintendo DSi yang sudah dipasarkan bulan April lalu.

PSP Go adalah konsol game yang lebih ringan dan lebih ramping dibandingkan dengan handheld PSP sebelumnya. Lebih ringkas karena dari segi fisik, desain PSP Go dibuat dengan model sliding. Panel navigasinya muncul begitu bagian layarnya digeser tidak seperti PSP standar yang bentuknya memanjang dengan panel navigasi di kanan kiri layar. Ia memiliki layar 3,8 inci, bobot yang 43 persen lebih ringan daripada PSP-3000, memori flash berkapasitas 16 GB, mendukung koneksi Bluetooth, dan semua konten digital yang terkandung dalam cakram Universal Media Disk (cakram yang digunakan PSP).

Sony menjual PSP Go di bulan Oktober kemarin dengan harga Euro 249 (sekitar Rp 3,6 juta) di Eropa, dan dibanderol seharga US$ 249 (Rp 2,5 juta) di Amerika Utara. Di Indonesia, PSP Go dibandrol pada kisaran harga Rp 3,599 juta.

PC Games
Bermain games tidak selalu dengan konsole game. Jika Anda tidak memiliki konsol, maka pilihan yang realible adalah main games di PC atau personal computer. Dari games yang paling sederhana hingga games 3 dimensi, semua dapat dioperasikan dalam PC. Bahkan belakangan, notebook sudah mampu menjalankan games yang membutuhkan memori besar dan prosesor bertenaga yang kemampuannya setara dengan PC.

Memang ada kelebihan dan kelemahan bermain games di PC. Yang pertama adalah masalah kepraktisan. Konsol lebih praktis dan tidak memerlukan sistem operasi untuk konfigurasi kesesuaian untuk update driver untuk mengetahui bahwa game kompatibel atau tidak dengan sebuah PC. Multiplayer game juga mudah dilakukan sekarang ini dengan bantuan vendor seperti Microsoft yang menawarkan layanan online untuk produk mereka. Begitu juga dengan Xbox yang dilengkapi dengan sebuah network card untuk koneksi via Internet lengkap dengan voice chat.

Sebaliknya, konsol adalah mesin dengan kesatuan yang tidak sederhana, ketika beberapa komponen rusak, tidak ada cara untuk memecahkan masalah tanpa harus mengganti seluruh konsol. Dan yang pasti sulit untuk melakukan upgrade terhadap konsol. Kemudian konsol tidak fleksibel dan hanya dapat digunakan untuk bermain game, sementara PC dapat digunakan sebagai mesin yang multifungsi.

Azhan bukan lah arif untuk berbincang ..apatah lagi bercakap dan bersuara mengenai politik .BARU-baru ini Timbalan Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin telah melemparkan tuduhan bahawa Ketua Pembangkang Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim sebagai pengkianat bangsa melayu.Ape pendapat anda?

Lalu Datuk Seri AnwarIbrahim pula telah memberi peringatan kepada Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin agar menarik balik tuduhan itu dan meminta maaf secara terbuka. Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin mungkin kapisitinya sebagai Timbalan Perdana Menteri enggan berbuat demikian.

Maka Datuk Seri Anwar telah mengarahkan peguamnya untuk menyaman Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin. Berdasarkan senario ini kedua-dua pemimpin melayu ini mungkin merasakan masing-masing adalah perjuang kepada bangsa melayu.

Jika begitu, siapa pula yang boleh dianggap pengkhianat bangsa sehingga orang melayu khususnya rakyat biasa boleh dikatakan hidup merempat di tanahair sendiri? Orang melayu bagaikan melukut di tepi gantang dalam menghadapi arus pembangunan negara.

Mari kita merenung dan berfikir secara tenang tanpa sebarang prejudis, siapa yang sebenarnya pengkianat bangsa? Tan Sri Mahyudin telah menuduh Datuk Seri Anwar sebagai pengkianat bangsa? Benarkah dakwaan itu? Buat masa ini Datuk Seri Anwar tidak punya sebarang kuasa untuk mengubar dasar negara yang boleh menjejaskan kepentingan bangsa.

Malah semasa Datuk Seri Anwar berada dalam UMNO dan ada sedikit kuasa beliau telah melakukan pelbagai perkara untuk kepentingan melayu dan Islam. Siapa yang menubuhkan Universiti dan Bank Islam? Siapa yang membentuk TEKUN yang membantu perniaga kecil mendapatkan pinjaman mudah untuk berniaga?  Anwar bukan?Siapa yang menubuhkan Amanah Ikhtiar juga membantu golongan miskin bumiputra mendapatkan bantuan modal? Siapa yang memberikan 5000 unit Amanah Saham Bumiputra kepada golongan miskin?

Apa yang Tan Sri Mahyudin buat baik semasa menjadi Menteri Besar, Menteri dan sekarang Timbalan Perdana Menteri untuk membantu orang melayu. Keputusan membatalkan penggunaan bahasa pengantar bahasa inggeris dalam pengajaran mata pelajaran sains dan mathematic yang ternyata gagal itu pun tidak dapat dibuat serta merta dan terpaksa ditangguhkan kepada 2012.

Adakah kita boleh mengelarkan Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin sebagai pejuang orang melayu? Kalau soal ini pun tidak berani membuat keputusan bagi membantu anak-anak melayu yang sedang belajar dan menghadapi kesulitan. Sebagai Timbalan Perdana Menteri dan memegang portfolio pendidikan sewajarnya Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin berani membuat keputusan dalam usaha membantu anak-anak melayu dil luarbandar mencapai keputusan yang baik dalam kedua-dua mata pelajaran itu.
Kajian yang dibuat oleh Kementerian Pendidikan sendiri telah menyatakan tinadakan itu tidak memberikan sebarang kesan terhadap pembelajaran dan penguasaan bahasa Inggeris.

Kalau Tan Sri Mahyudin menganggap diri Tan Sri sebagai pejuang dan pembela orang melayu, apa sikap Tan Sri dengan gagasan SATU MALAYSIA yang diperkenalkan oleh Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak? Orang melayu dibawah merasakan gagasan SATU MALAYSIA itu sama dengan gagasan MALAYSIA MALAYSIAN yang di bawa oleh DAP.

Apa maknanya SATU MALAYSIA. Maknanya kita semuanya satu tidak kira bangsa asalkan rakyat Malaysia. Inikah yang dikatakan perjuang bangsa? Cuba tengok peringatan Raja Muda Perak dengan 7 wasiat Raja-Raja Melayu. Adakah UMNO khasnya Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin benar-benar menjaganya? Kita ingin bertanya kepada Tan Sri Mahyudin, siapa yang menukar nama Persekutuan Tanah Melayu kepada Malaysia. Sedangkan nama itu jelas menunjukkan negara ini milik orang melayu? Jawabnya UMNO, jadi bolehkah kita sifatkan UMNO dan Tan Sri Mahyudin sendiri sebagai pejuang bangsa?

Bagaimana pula wasiat Raja-Raja Melayu yang mahukan 50% daripada tanah di negara ini dijadikan Tanah Simpanan Melayu? Adakah UMNO melaksanakannya? Malah satu ketika Tun Dr. Mahathir semasa menjadi Perdana Menteri mencadangkan agar status Tanah Simpanan Melayu dibuang atas alasan untuk meningkatkan nilainya. Untuk apa meningkatkan nilai tanah itu kalau selepas itu tanah tersebut akan terlepas daripada pegangan orang melayu? Apa yang Tan Sri Mahyudin Yasin buat sebagai perjuang dan pembela orang melayu waktu itu?

Wasiat Raja-Raja melayu seterusnya , Kami isytiharkan Islam adalah Agama Persekutuan; PERKARA INI JUGA ADA TAPI SEKADAR PENGISYTIHARAN TIDAK ADA PERLAKSANAAN DASAR YANG BERSESUAIAN DENGAN ISLAM SEBAGAI AGAMA RASMI. APA YANG ADA PADA NAMA KALAU TIDAK ADA PERLAKSANAANNYA? APA YANG RAJA-RAJA MELAYU KITA BUAT APABILA PERLAKSANAAN SEGALA DASAR NEGARA ISLAM TIDAK SELARAS DAN SELARI DENGAN AGAMA RASMI. APA YANG TAN SRI MAHYUDIN YASIN BUAT SEMASA TUN DR. I created this WordPress account way back in time but only thought best to make use of it now. I have Multiply for some time now and I have been loving it, except it doesn’t satisfy my urge to blog. knew it was hope beyond hope. Yes, you can call that desperation. And then later on I found out that seems to be one of the limitations of the site. Crap! Why?

Anyway, instead of going out to Multiply and draft a one-page insinuation, I decided to take refuge in this site’s open arms. Which means you’ll hear more of me here in the days to come.

I was surfing the news online and came across an article saying that an employee in Canada lost its benefits because of a picture of her in Facebook.

Reading on, I learned that the employee is apparently on sick leave due to depression and is receiving an stipend from her insurance. The insurance company apparently ceased to give her her benefits when they saw pictures of her in Facebook having fun.

Irregardless of  the veracity of that news, we as users of these networking sites eg. Facebook, Flickr, Multiply, Hi-5, Friendster and tons of other social networking sites must be responsible on what we post.

Keep in mind that these sites are open to anyone who have access to the internet. And these magnitude of people have access to your pictures, data, and ideas too. Unless of course you like other people to have a glimpse of your life you should and you must use these sites responsibly.

The world is absolutely not just for good people. Remember that in order to have a balance an exact opposite must exist. All I am saying is, we should be responsible on what we intent the world to see, particularly if it is our life.

Đầu tiên, FPT sẽ block các trang facebook của miền Bắc, đối với miền Nam. Tức miền Nam không truy cập được facebook của miền Bắc, còn miền Bắc thì vẫn vào bình thường. Quá trình block này sẽ diễn tiến xôi đậu, tức sau khi tiến hành block thành công sẽ chọn thí điểm thực hiện và hoạt động on-off luân phiên để các user tưởng đó là lỗi mạng

Còn VNPT thì block Multiply, như áp dụng trong miền Nam trước đối với miền Bắc, tức miền Bắc không vào được miền Nam, sau đó tiến hành block toàn bộ, phương thức xôi đậu cũng giống như trên.

Tháng 12 này là thời điểm kết, giờ G block toàn bộ sẽ diễn ra. Muốn vào được các trang nói trên, các bạn phải vượt tường lửa.

19 and Counting!

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of Tonitown, Ark., who have 18 children and one grandchild on the way, are expecting a new addition to their household – baby No. 19 will arrive in the spring.

“We are so thrilled,” says Michelle, 42. “We just couldn’t believe it is happening.” Jim Bob, 44, agrees: “This never gets old. We are so grateful for each child. We are looking forward to our first grand baby and our 19th child.”

Oldest son Joshua, 21 and his wife Anna, 21, are expecting daughter Mackynzie Renée next month, so she will be older than her new aunt or uncle.

This is wonderful news and I rejoice with the Duggars on their 19th child.  I pray the Lord blesses them and gives Mrs. Duggar a blessed time during her pregnancy.

There is such a need for women to understand that children are a gift from God.  Our culture seems to think that it is “sad” when a woman desires to have the children God intended for her to have.  Whether we are given 1 or 19, the issue should not be that she is having children.  The issue should be…is she doing right in God’s eyes!  According to Gen. 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

Did it stop there?  After commanding Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, did God rescind His command?  Let’s see what else the Bible has to say about it.

Gen. 9:1, 7, “And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.  And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.” Next we see God telling Noah to be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth after the flood.

Lev. 26:9, “And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.” Here we see God telling the Israelites to multiply and be fruitful!

Ps. 127:3-5, “Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.  As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.  Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.” God has given us an idea of what He thinks of children.  See what is said here?  Children are an inheritance or an heirloom of the Lord and the fruit of the womb are His compensation, benefit or worth!  Wow!  What an amazing expression of children in the Bible!  But wait!!! It doesn’t stop there…the Bible continues on with saying that the man who has a quiver full of them is HAPPY!  When you read the article, you will notice that Mrs. Duggar is very happy to have another child in her family!  How much more exciting could this be?

Ps. 128:3-4, “Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.  Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD.” This is the way it will be, i.e. being blessed by having children for the man that fears the Lord!  The excitement continues on building!

Jesus spoke about little children and even rebuked His disciples because they were forbidding them to come to Jesus.  What?!  Are children to be banned from God’s presence?  Are children nuisances to us adults?  That seems strange because we were all children at one time.  Maybe all of us should have been viewed as a nuisance and bother!

Kittymama’s Guide to Good Manners and Online Businesses for Sellers*

1. Post clear pictures and describe your products honestly. Describe even the condition of boxes. Don’t say an item is brand new when it is not. Show tags as much as possible to provide buyers with date of manufacture.

2. Provide measurements or comparisons as much as possible. An item seen through macro lenses may appear gigantic, when in fact, it is only a few inches tall.

3. Indicate clearly which items are included if the buyer is interested in a set.

4. Please post your prices. It’s difficult to have to keep asking “how much?” (or in my friend Cynthia’s case the very unique “how muchie?- cute!) especially when multiple items are involved. Unless you are open to haggling, indicate if your prices are fixed and non-negotiable.

5. Don’t change your prices midway through a transaction. A short example: I was looking at some cellphone cases a while back. I took a screenshot of the item to show my husband but didn’t bother to peruse the posting closely (my fault, see number two of previous post; I learned from this mistake). I then left a message for the seller, asking her  for the price.  The seller quoted a number and in turn, I passed on the price quotation to my husband. He quickly pointed out that the picture I sent him had indicated a much lower price. I chose not to pursue the transaction anymore.

6. Once an item is posted for sale, it is fair game for anyone. Unless you mark it as reserved or taken, the first person who reserves an unmarked item should have the right of first sale. Better yet, if you have promised it to someone else, remove it from the album.

7. Don’t say it is on sale when it is not. Some sellers use the word “SALE” loosely to entice buyers. For most of us, the definition of a sale is the opportunity to purchase at reduced prices.  

8. Money isn’t everything. We all know that sellers sell to make money, but for patrons of a seller, it does not feel good to be duped or misled. The most common reason for buying online is to cut on costs by shaving off big retailers’ mark-ups. So to find the same items you are selling in the malls at a much lower price than the sellers’ is a big, big letdown. Of course, if you are selling unique or handmade items, a significant premium based on these qualities is understandable, but even then, know how much profit your market can  take.

9. Reply to inquiries promptly. Don’t put off your correspondence. Buyers hate waiting and by not acting promptly, you may lose their business. One seller I met promised to text back with details and didn’t; I did not pursue the transaction as I felt ignored and my business unimportant.

10. Provide clear instructions on payment modes. Give your buyers all your options, be it bank payments, money transfers, COD, or electronic money (for example, Gcash). If the last  is one of your chosen options, indicate if you are passing on the 1% charge (cash-out fee) to your clients, and only then, charge only the amount which is being transferred via this mode.

11. When products have been paid for, acknowledge payment with your thanks. An acknowledgement of payment assures the buyer that their business is real, solid, and based on mutual trust.

12. Package your items carefully, especially breakables and fragile items. Also, special touches mean much. Just this morning, I received a package in the mail from someone who I did business with just two days ago. I didn’t spend much, just PhP270, but the seller’s packaging made me feel like a VIP. It really made my day.

13. Send your buyers’ tracking numbers or air bill numbers right away. This should be a seller’s responsibility. Tracking numbers also assure buyers that the contract has been consummated. Trust me, unless you are a good friend, buyers hate running after waybill numbers.

14. If you opt for a meet-up, indicate upfront if the buyer must shell out part of your gas expense.  Meet-ups are usually done at the seller’s convenience, not the other way around. The rationale behind  this is to save on shipping costs. As such, meet-ups do not usually require charges. Don’t say you can meet her somewhere then later ask for extra money for a service you volunteered because this action shows bad faith. 

15. Freebies are very nice and heartwarming, but they not absolutely necessary. Good service, honesty, and a real concern for your buyers count more than whatever it is you can throw in for free.

16. Lastly, keep an accurate database of your buyers’ contact details. Remember their names and match it with their online handles. It’s frustrating to have to keep giving your contact details to someone you’ve done business with repeatedly. Besides, when you start treating your customers as your real friends, they are less likely to defraud you.

What can I say about my experience as an online buyer in Multiply? I have been immensely blessed by the people I have met in the forum that the successes still far outweigh the occasional disappointments. I have tried my best to be an honest, reputable buyer and this is a reputation that I would like to maintain and keep. 

In the end, we–buyers and sellers alike–must remember that an online business, like any other business, relies on good faith and a reciprocity of service, goods and trust. That we are able to develop friendships beyond the confines of the material world is a blessing that makes this world a much smaller, less colder place to live in.

We join social networking sites for various reasons. Some want to meet new people, others want to look for old friends. Still, some want to join interest groups; others,  discussion fora. Whatever the reasons may be, social networking sites provide a new venue where people may interact regardless  of geographical distance and limitations.

My first foray into social networking sites was in Friendster. Joining was actually a no-choice as I did it simply to monitor my then thirteen-year-old son’s activities on the Internet. Later on, as I got more net savvy, I joined Facebook whose appeal lies on its interactivity and its games. At around the same time, I also opened a Multiply account, and on this, I have to be honest and say I joined to be able to buy Hello Kitty stuff online.

With Multiply finally legitimizing businesses in their new terms of use, online entrepreneurship is expected to hit an all-time high. With this development, however, we expect that the rules and etiquette of business will undergo continuous modifications to accommodate the changing needs of a new virtual frontier.

I have, in the last two years, been a frequent Multiply buyer. In the course of doing business with others, I have been witness in my circles to breaches in social rules that result in joy reservers, bogus buyers, and bogus sellers. How, then, do we attempt to avoid all these headaches?

Here are some suggestions for buyers (part one) and sellers (part two) alike. If I miss anything, please feel free to add them in the comments section and I will update the list and give you credit for the suggestion.

1. Read. Read seller’s descriptions very well and repeatedly to avoid misunderstanding or false expectations.

2. Check first if the item price has been posted before asking “how much?” This saves the seller from unnecessary inquiries and saves her time and effort.

3. If you have questions on the item, do not hesitate to ask via text or email but always introduce yourself and indicate your purpose clearly.

4. Be polite. Send polite and clear inquiries whether it be via email or text.  

5. When using private messages, do not use text language. Do not assume that your seller is well-versed in text language. Phrase your questions clearly and in complete words to avoid having to repeat the same inquiries.

6. Once you make a reservation, make sure that you are serious in buying and have the money on hand to pay for it. Don’t reserve today if you are looking to pay for it with next week’s salary. By locking out an item you cannot pay for, you are depriving the seller the chance to make an honest profit from a sure buyer.

7. Provide up-to-date and clear contact details. Indicate your handle and provide your real name, address, cellphone and landline, and even your zip code. If your home address will likely cause confusion for the courier, elaborate by giving landmarks.

8. Know your seller. Don’t be afraid to ask for a name and contact number; after all, you have given them yours.

9. If an invoice is due any day, set time to check your inbox for messages and updates. You cannot excuse late payment by saying that you were offline. If you can go online to reserve an item, you can go online to finalize the transaction. 

10. For preorders requiring down payment, pay your deposit promptly. Two years ago, deposits were virtually unheard of and trust was the rule of the day but because of bogus buyers, sellers have been forced to ask for deposits to ensure future payment. We do not want to wait for the day when sellers will require full payment upfront even for preorders.

11. Mark the estimated time of arrival on your calendar for preorders so you will know when to contact your seller for updates. With their growing list of clients, sometimes, they are hard pressed to provide each and every one with update. In an ideal world, such a responsibility would hardly merit a second thought- it would be a given. But since you have paid your deposit, you must share the burden of following-up on your orders.

12. Pay promptly, preferably on same day as the invoice. Sellers generally give their clients a short leeway and time allowance for payment (usually three days). Don’t abuse their kindness and don’t give the seller cause to have to run after you.

13. Don’t use your seller’s pictures to show off your purchases. Unless you are granted permission to repost them with credit, take your own pictures.

14. Be gracious and say thank you for a business transaction done smoothly. If you can, leave recommendations on their feedback page.

15. For complaints, go straight to the seller if you wish for action to be taken. If you are ignored and your complaints are dismissed, then you may wish to take further action by reporting it to the network. You are free to express your disappointment in your blog, but remember to do so with discretion and with respect for a person’s reputation.

Semakin santer saja upaya YMKI menggelontor pasar sepeda motor dengan produk baru di tahun 2010. Bahkan beberapa hari lalu mereka menggandeng Bloggers sebagai media pertama yang dikasih tahu seluk beluk salah satu senjatanya New Jupiter Z… 

Mmmmm setelah AHM beberapa waktu lalu, YMKI berupaya menggandeng bloggers sebagai tempat promosi “gratis” mereka.Rupanya mereka sudah sadar bahwa media blog merupakan wahana yang strategis untuk menjual produk mereka.

Tetapi jangan lupa, selain itu dari blog, mereka akan banyak memperoleh kritikan, masukan atau bahkan cacian.Biasanya sih kalo produknya nyeleneh atao kurang inovatif bahkan bloggersnya kurang selera (emang makan…J). Namun hal tersebut pasti akan banyak berguna demi pengembangan produk yang lebih inovatif lagi…

Sebetulnya saya pengen juga ngebahas soal YMKI yang baru saja menggandeng bloggers ato tentang update-an New Jupiter Z n Yamaha Byson.. Tapi karena dah dikupas abizz oleh blog khusus motor seperti Mas Tri, Mas Taufik dan lain-lain,  saya urungkan niat buat nulis hal yang sama… Ya pasti kalah traffic lah hehehehe.. (Yang jelas sih minim pengetahuan n pengalaman tentang motor..)

So apa yang mesti dibahas ya…?

Setelah berapa lama akhirnya kepikiran buat ngebahas Blog yang ngebahas tentang blog… Maksudnya ya semacam review gitu… Dimana dalam era globalisasi ini dunia blogging menjadi satu media yang cukup baik dan strategis dalam memasarkan produk, branding dan pengembangan produk… Kenapa..? Panteng aja terus gan….

Sebenernya apa sih peranan blog yang dalam hal ini yang ngebahas tentang motor…

Menurut hemat dan pendapat saya, banyak.. Tapi saya cuma pengen bahas dua aja ah….

1. Media Informasi

Yang ini sudah jelas… Yang namanya website ato media internet sedikit banyaknya pasti memberikan informasi tentang sesuatu. Dalm kasus ini blog-blog akan memberikan informasi pada netter tentang isu produk baru, review produk, kekurangan dan kelebihan suatu produk bahkan komparasi atau perbandingan dari berbagai macam produk motor…

Pada dasarnya semua produk bagus dan beda-beda tipis… Hanya saja setiap produk memiliki kecenderungan untuk lebih menonjolkan sesuatu sebagai identitasnya.. Nah dari sono netter akan bisa mengerti (termasuk saya) produk mana yang sebenernya misalnya lebih kenceng, lebih irit, lebih inovasi, lebih ergonomi atau bahkan value price-nya lebih baik…

2. Media Promosi (Branding Product)

Nyambung dari nomer 1 mengenai identitas produk… Ini berlaku bagi para produsen atau ATPM.. Dalam hal ini suatu produk perlu memiliki brand untuk menjadi leader market. Contoh kasus Apple dengan iPodnya menjadikan produk serupa Zune dari Microsoft dan Walkman dari Sony keteteran..

Biasanya seorang blogger akan membuat postingan sesuatu sesuai dengan faktanya. Tanpa ada tekanan, unsur politik atau membawa kepentingan suatu golongan.Disinilah kelebihan dari blog dari media lain seperti koran, majalah, tabloid dan lainnya…

Secara mereka kan cuma seorang yang memiliki suatu hobi ngeblog yang biasanya berangkat dari orang2 yang memang hobi motor atau memiliki pengalaman tentang motor… Jadi ga ada tuh yang namanya tekanan dari atasan atu lainnya.. Mau nulis A ato  B ya terserah blogger sendiri… Jadi objektifitas dari isi blog pun dijamin 100% (bener gak seh…?)

Nah, berangkat dari situ, para ATPM motor di kita pun sudah mulai memperhitungkan keberadaan blog ini. Setelah AHM menggandeng bloggers sebagai “partner”, beberapa waktu kemari giliran YMKI yang menjadikan blog sebagai media pertama sebagai wahana publikasi produk barunya… Bahkan konon menurut beberapa informasi pabrikan Minerva pun sudah mengandeng blogger seperti dua ATPM tadi….

Menarik memang tren di era globalisasi ini, media informasi tidak lagi didominasi oleh media cetak atau elektronik konvensional. Era digital yang memberikan banyak ruang kepada semua pihak, lebih menjanjikan informasi yang lebih gres, cepat dan akurat…

So sapa lagi yang mo gandeng bloggers… Kalo sampai ga, bisa2 pasarnya kelaut….

It is very easy to multipky any two digit number by 11. Let me explain you how.

Suppose you want to multiply 36 by 11

1) Write 36 keeping some gap between both the digits.

2) Now add both these digits. You will get 3+6=9

3) Write this result of addition in between 3 and 6. You got a number 396.

This is  the multiplication of 36 and 11 i.e. 396

You can cross check it with calculator.

Take another number 76

As explained above write 76 keeping some gap between both the digits.

After adding 7 & 6 we get 13

Since the result is a two digit number we must first write 3 between 7 and 6

And the carry over 1 shall be added to first digit of the given number i.e. 7. By addition we got 8.

Now replace pre-written number 7 by 8. Finally we got one number i.e. 836

This is the multiplication of 76 and 11.

Now try it yourself with other numbers.

I have, up to this point, kept a Yahoo Profile page, a Multiply page and a Windows Live Space in addition to my Blog, my Facebook and my Flick’r account but I’m now feeling the need to streamline my online presences. I made a bit of a start on this a short while ago when I closed the web site I used to have, “The Tortoise Table”, and integrated it as part of my blog page.

The simple reality is that I don’t need too many presences online, I’m looking at a cull, and those that I decide to keep I want to be able to integrate with the one that is most important to me, I want to shake up and streamline my online presences. In truth my blog is king, any site I cannot easily integrate with my blog will simply have to go, when I say “integrate with my blog” I don’t mean have a simple link to it on the page, the very least I need to have on a page is a proper RSS feed from my blog showing the latest posts, anything less I’m not happy with. This means that whatever extra pages I decide to keep will update with my blog posts automatically and I don’t have to worry about constantly keeping them up to date, or alternatively, as has been the case up to now just ignoring them and popping back now and again.

My “blog and Facebook” are to remain my main online presences, my blog is, of course, where I do all my writing, its my diary and my place to rant when I need to and bare my soul when I need to as well, its my most important place online. Facebook meanwhile is where I do my socialising when I’m in the mood, there are a lot of people on Facebook that I know in real life as well as online, it also easily integrates with my blog and when I post photos to Flick’r they also appear on my Facebook profile so its pretty much ideal.

Flick’r is a different matter to the other pages I’m talking about, its not for socialising or blogging, its simply somewhere online to store and show my photos.

Now we come to “Windows Live Space”, this is pretty good for integration, my blog and my Flick’r account are both linked to my profile on Windows Live and update automatically when I post something on them, added to this I have an RSS feed from my blog on my actual Live Space page which shows my latest posts, Windows Live is staying. To go with Windows Live and Space there is also “Windows Live Messenger” of course.

Next up is “Multiply”, this doesn’t seem to integrate well at all, I have been trying to get at least an RSS feed from my blog onto it but its looking very improbable, so Multiply has been deleted.

Finally is my “Yahoo Profile”, this is the replacement for the old Yahoo 360 but isn’t nearly as good, I really don’t like this much at all and as far as linking my blog is concerned, well this doesn’t look plausible to me, this is also to go, as a Yahoo customer I don’t believe I can actually delete it but I have removed most of the stuff on it and plan on ignoring it, essentially I’m casting it adrift.

So in the end I get rid of two presences and keep my “Windows Live Space” alongside my “Blog”, “Facebook” and “Flick’r”, a little streamlining and a little less to think about, coolio.
